I have never experienced this from writing a review on yelp, but this lets me know how serious they are about guaranteeing their customers come back! When I called to place the order the gentleman on the phone was so nice and told me it was his mistake and that he apologizes as well! It honestly means a lot when business reach out and take accountability for their mistake! They were not rude at all very very understanding and for that reason and the reason that my new order was correctly made on top of them giving me a new order of garlic knots too when I was only expecting only a pizza and it was so delicious that I forgot what the other one had even tasted like, I WILL BE RETURNING! As you walk in, you are greeted by the wonderful aroma of fresh baked pizza...such a rondel experience. After you have taken in the smells, and look around...the decor is warm and inviting with what you would think of when you thinking an Italian pizzeria. There is a clear case counter with some of the food options ...however, those aren't your only selections...you can create custom pizzas, calzones and more. The person behind the counter was very personable and approachable...which always add to the experience! The pepperoni stuffed breadsticks were yummy...I would have liked a bit more pepperoni...but, that's a personal preference. The cheese sauce served with the sticks had the nice surprise of jalapeño peppers in it...yay! Mia Pizzeria is a new addition to our neighborhood eating establishments, located right next door to Sundae's ice cream. I took the family to Sundae's for a treat after some community service project work. On our way in we saw Mia pizzeria and gave them a try. We are very happy with our experience. Pizza can be ordered by the slice or whole, the are a variety of options for bread sticks, and their service is friendly and patient with indecisive kids. The balance of the ingredients in the pizza was very good, nothing over powering anything else. We will be back for more very soon! read more

I don't know about you, but I've tried the different by the sliced pizza places around town. Bella Pizza has some great offerings. I enjoy at New York style slice. Mia pizzeria takes that to a whole new level. They use fresh ingredients, they use grande cheese, which is the top/premium cheese brand in the pizza industry. They are incredibly Customer focused and the team there is friendly and generally interested in helping you find the best option for your mail. I had a chance to talk with one of the owners and they are also vegan friendly. They have vegan meat alternatives and they are health-conscious for those who are choosing to eat vegan The pricing is incredibly fair and the food is exceptional. I was already a fan of the Mia Pizzeria at 75th and Shadeland, a location a little closer to my home. So, I was delighted to discover this sister location at 79th and Fall Creek in the Geist area. First off, it's worth noting that you can do worse than locate your pizza joint right next to the beloved Sundae's Ice Cream That's heaven. This location feels bigger than Shadeland. The decor is definitely a notch up. While I like both spots, I'd have to give the nod to this spot in terms of atmosphere. They have several daily lunch specials. I snagged a special that included a slice of pizza (cheese, pepperoni, sausage, sausage/pepperoni were the types noted as being included), breadsticks (3), and a 20-ounce drink. I will note they only have sweet tea, a bit disappointing, but it worked and was tasty. The special was $9.95 plus tax. Mia certainly sells pizza by the pie, however, they're definitely a slice joint. Mia's pizza is New York style. They have all the traditional toppings. They have vegan options. They have specialty pizzas. Mia offers breadsticks and knots and a couple other bread options. They have calzones, strombolis, subs, a variety of pasta dishes, salads and more. This strip center is relatively short and has two accessible spots with a curb cut at about the mid-point. The single glass door is pretty easy to handle. The decor is simple, however, I found it warmer and more comfortable than Shadeland. I was easily able to find a spot that worked with the wheelchair. Employees were friendly and helpful. They seem to have built a positive relationship with the community - the publisher from Towne Post Network was there dropping off Geist Magazine. The slice was quite good. I would easily order it again. The crust was a delight. The breadsticks weren't decadent, though they were quite satisfying. I would also easily order them again - I appreciated that you could get either cheese sauce or marina. Overall, 5-star may be a bit generous but I loved the pizza, the people, and the atmosphere. All these other reviews must be from lunch time, came for dinner on a Monday night, waited 30 minutes for the pizza from the stoned cashier, had to check multiple times to see if the pizza was done, meanwhile 3 groups of customers came in and left without getting served due to how slow it was. The guy making the pizza couldn't be bothered to help up front, and the breadsticks were burnt. I've been to (and enjoy) the Mia location near 75th and Shadeland, and todayvI popped into the one off Fall Creek at 79th for a late lunch (2pm). I got a 10" pepperoni pizza to go. There were currently no other customers, items had to wait about 10 min while my food baked. It was still hot when I got home (10-15 min drive). This is a thin crust style, slightly crispy on the crust. Nice amount of pepperoni, and I'd be tempted to order extra cheese next time. Indy meets New York, what's better than this? Pizza by the slice gets warmed in the oven, comes out just the right amount of crispy on bottom.
