I have been going to Dr. Diane Liberty DDS (Pinebrook Dental) for around 17 years. Now her daughter Dr. Nisa is a dentist there. I had put of my dental work for a very long time (15 years) Dr. Diane has kept my smile good even though she really needed me to replace my bridge and partial. Well between 2022 and 2023 we accomplished both. The lightened my teeth and even bleached my bottom teeth to match. The partial is a lot nicer than my old one. A lot less metal in my mouth. The bridge came out amazing. Your wouldn't know that these are porcelain and not enamel. I am receiving so many compliments on my teeth. I wish I didn't wait too long. I am thoroughly enjoying my new smile and it was worth every penny. I think she is very fair with her prices. Other Discount dentist(s) around town are much higher and the quality ids much lower. I've had a lot of Dentists in my 52 years but never have I had one with such a condescending attitude. If you are in the blessed crowd that never really need serious work done and just come in for a routine cleaning you may be fine here but if you are not so fortunate the Dentist and the staff will make you feel like a loser and expect you to pay whatever invoice they slip in. Don't even bother to ask her to explain to you what is wrong because she will only give you a simpleton answer like you have decay in some teeth. Which teeth? I have had many dentists over the years both in New York and in California as well as the military. Dr Liberty is by far the best I've had. She will listen to any dental issue you are having and after a thorough examination she will come up with a treatment plan. She will not start working on you until you completely understand the treatment and are comfortable with it. Her chairside manor is the best I've ever seen. Dr. Diane Liberty is so sweet, but not just sweet, she is a really good dentist! Very kind, very gentle, very concerned about viruses even before the pandemic. We had a personal connection (my dad) and she asked us to drive out of our way to use her as a dentist. We agreed and we are sooo glad we did! My new job would not cover her so we went somewhere else for 1 visit ONLY. They tried to tell me I needed a tooth pulled and I knew Dr. Liberty would have told me if that were true. I decided to pay and go back for cleanings and she confirmed I don't need a tooth pulled. She did suggest other work and explained why it was good dental common sense to do so. I feel so cared for! My dad was afraid to go to the dentist because of COVID-19. Diane Liberty, over charges, adds charges to your bill and does not report all charges to the insurance, which also adds to your bill. She also bickers with her staff. I do not think they get along. She also trys to talk you into things you do not need. I will not recommend her or her office. read more

I've been to this dental office twice now. First time for my initial exam/cleaning with x-rays, and second time, just for my 6 month cleaning. Both times I have interacted with Diane, she talks to me in a condescending manner. I figured that during the first visit, maybe she was just having a bad day, because the yelp reviews were great for her, and I understand that people do have bad days. But, nope, she even talked to me that way on my second visit as well. The prices she charges for dental care are outrageous. When I inquired today on why her fees are so high, her response is that "I'm a business, I'm here to make money. You can find dentists who will do it for cheaper, but I won't do it for lower prices, I charge higher because I am here to make money." I'm sorry, but when I have talked to my co-workers who have the same exact dental coverage I have, their dentists do not charge anything near what this one is trying to charge me. It's ridiculous. I won't be going back. I'm shocked that she has these great reviews, because I checked yelp before I originally chose her as a dentist. Do not make the same mistake I did, go elsewhere. read more

I have been to Dr. Liberty's twice now. Both for cleanings. The hygienist was kind, gentle and thorough. I have been to many cleanings over the past 52 years and yes I have had some work done braces, fillings...... the doctor came in to have a look when the cleaning was done. It appears that any previous doctor I have seen did not know what they were doing. for the next 10 minutes I heard nothing but negative things about my mouth and how she would have done a much better job.She tried to pressure me into making an appointment to get some work done. Well I left feeling that I should not smile and show my teeth even though I love the feeling of having my teeth just cleaned. My husband had a very similar experience. Now 6 months later we needed to have our teeth cleaned again and my husband needed a crown done. He will write his experience on this. From my end I just went for a cleaning. While there after a nice cleaning, I talked to the doctor about my husbands shirt that she got cement on. I wanted to know if there was something special I should use to take it out., I did show her the shirt. She said she didn't know. Apparently that was the end of it for her. No apologies or reimbursement, nothing. In fact she was very condescending to me as if she could get the cement under the bib. Today I brought in the bill for both my husband and I. I was going over it with the gal at the front when the doctor came out and made very condescending, demeaning remark to me about how she does business. This is what she charges and I just don't know. There is no reasoning with her. She is right and I am stupid. She told me to have my husband come in and he would understand business. Needless to say we will not be going back. Take our experience and get procedures to be done in writing. Otherwise she will change the price to suit her needs. Or better yet save yourself the trouble and DON'T go. Very over priced as well. Yes another review for Dr. Liberty. I really cant say enough good things. She has broken down a family members extensive needs once again into manageable phases. He hated dentists prior to Diane and would just get a tooth yanked. still has a way to go after two root canals but he has new crowns and will be able to keep his teeth for life. read more

I am confused reading some of the negative reviews on Dr. Liberty. Perhaps they didn't go to the same Dr. Diane Liberty that my husband and I go to.We've both had cleanings, I had a crown and fillings done, and my husband is going back for a crown soon. We have always had positive experiences with Dr. Liberty, her hygienist, and her staff. I've had some horrible experiences with other dentists in the past who charged less, but they ended up pulling teeth instead of fixing them. (Yes, a lot cheaper, but who wants missing teeth??) You get what you pay for people. As far as her attitude...she is there to do a good job on your teeth, not be your best friend! Dr. Liberty was recommended to me by family, and I am so happy to have discovered her office, Pinebrook Dental. I am in Folsom only part time but have moved my dental care here due to the great care I have received from Dr. Liberty. She does not insult my intelligence, explains things thoroughly, shows me what's needed. I especially like her outward calm. She is professional and so is her staff. Her fees are less than the Bay Area where I was most recently cared for, and she reduces my bill when I pay cash. I am not insulted by the notion she is running a business. Recently, after a long appointment, she gave me her personal cell number to use just in case I had a follow up problem. I give her highest marks! read more
