She was so gentle and patient with me and ensured I was comfortable after each session. As for my wisdom teeth extractions, Dr. Mohsen did it painlessly and so quick! Disappointed with my overall experience getting a cosmetic consult. I did a virtual consult first and was told treatment for what I described would be "at least $2,000" for what I was wanting (composite bonding on 6 teeth). It wasn't very exact but i figured it was at least somewhat close to what the cost would be. I then paid $200 for the in person cosmetic consult appointment. At the end of my appointment I was told that treatment would be $24,000 for composite bonding on 6 teeth! That estimate is pretty off the mark and I'm disappointed in the severe lack of transparency. I wouldn't have paid $200 for the consult if I would have been given accurate general pricing from the start. The doctor was also unable to show me any previous work she has done, other than 1 single case. That felt like a huge red flag to me. Also, during my appointment, we were discussing my lips and how they frame my teeth. My top teeth don't show at all when my lips are at rest. The doctor then said "Having your top teeth show at rest is a sign of youthfulness." That felt incredibly rude and unnecessary. Also, the doctor who responded to my virtual consult said she would be the one working with me on my teeth. However, a different doctor did my in person consultation so that felt confusing and misleading. I sent a message to the office about my experience to give them a chance to respond. However, they did not respond. When I followed up with a message to the same number, I got an error message so I believe they might have blocked me. read more

This place is deceptive and horrible. The hygienist I had couldn't get an x ray for the life of her and the dentist was cold and rude. They are all about money and selling you as much stuff as you will buy (they tried to get me to get Invisalign and a bite guard as soon as I sat in the chair without any discussion). The dentist told me I had 6 cavities which I did not believe. Got a second opinion and guess what! I did NOT have 6 cavities!! Their exam seems to have extras, one being "model of teeth", which your insurance will not cover!! I would not have done that had I known! They are sneaky and do not tell you anything. From the clean white waiting room to the back patio, this place has only what it needs to have without the sterile feel of a traditional dentist office. I mean there's a barn door behind the front desk, massage chairs in the back and a cappuccino machine to keep you alert. TECHNOLOGY/FACILITY: State of the art! Brand new everything! Everything? EVERYTHING! First, there are TV screens in the ceiling above the patient chairs and over the ear headphones to watch your favorite shows on Netflix or wherever. The chairs are super comfy. Speaking of chairs, there are massage chairs in a separate waiting room, a digital fire place in another for mood setting, and, of course, WiFi. STAFF: Oh, you mean these Angels of dentistry?! Marvelous, warm and inviting! Every single person truly cares about how comfortable you are. Not just your teeth. I will name no names because the service i received from each person was exemplary and universally fair and equal. EXPERIENCE: From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was treated like royalty. I was offered a beverage and given a tour of the facility. I must have met every person working. There was a lot of casual conversation about things other than dentistry which I like because that makes a place feel warm and inviting. We even did a little AcroYoga in front of the Smile & Co logo in the waiting room straight ahead when you first enter. It was one of the best experiences I've had at a dentist office period. My favorite part was the visual walk through of my teeth using a highly advanced video camera plus a come coordinated printout of my current dental condition. I never learned so much about what was going on inside my mouth. I'm confident to say that I feel empowered to take full control of my dental hygiene and the future of my smile. read more

Their office has an amazing vibe (love the upbeat motivating music to keep your mind off of the dental work haha). I was given a tour around the office and you can immediately see how much thought was put in in every detail of this place, from the essential oil diffusers placed around the office, the fire place, and the cool lounge space with massage chairs. *Update to my review after the owner posted a response. I didn't miss any appointment let alone 5 appointments. I always notified the office if I couldn't make the appointment. However when she stated she understands "emergencies " you wouldn't be allowed to reschedule an emergency unless you knew about it 48 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment. Ashley maybe do a better job actually explaining the cancellation policy and have customers sign and agree to that policy. Therefore then they will Know before hand what to expect. I do agree however that it was time to go when I realized that the business practices there are to blame the customer l, when clearly it's the responsibility of the business to explain the policies. read more

I had a slight emergency with a fractured tooth and Smile & Company accommodated me with an appointment that day as a brand new patient. The staff are very friendly and courteous and keep up with COVID requirements. My overall experience was excellent and pleasant and will be back in a couple of weeks for a permanent crown. Also want to mention that it looks like a house from the outside turned into dentist office on the inside with very nice decor interiorly. All the girls that work here are really nice. I actually was trying to find the Roseville location but it isn't on here. That being said, this place is seriously so overpriced. One veneer is 3k.. that's outrageous. I had no other option but to get it fixed right then, but I had wish I called around. I had another veneer fall off a month later - I went in and was asking for a cheaper option and they put on a temporary for $650. It literally lasted me 3 days. And when I called and asked to have it subtracted from the 3k so I could just get a new veneer - they told me they could only give me half off. Really?? I found another place that's doing my veneer for around $500. Some dentists straight up take your money. It annoyed me that they wouldn't give me the full discount, that's why I'm here writing this. The fear of going to the dentist is common. I have it, severely so. I broke a tooth a few year ago and ignored it. My fear was that real. About a month ago it got infected and I was in a decent amount of pain. I'd been taking 800 mg of Advil 3-4 times a day since. This week it got too severe to ignore. The pain was all the way into my ear and I wasn't sleeping anymore. A co-worker referred me to Smile and Company, where his sister in law worked. Oh my gosh, I was so anxious and nervous for my appointment. My plan was to get this fixed and disappear. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure I was ok during the entirety of my visit. If I felt any pain, they stopped, backed off and provided more Novocain. They answered every question before I could answer it and anticipated everything I might have needed. I can't say I'll ever be ok going to the dentist but at least now, I won't put it off for so long and I will keep up regularly check ups. read more

I don't think I've ever been to an office where a doctor cared so much. From the phone call to coming in I felt like I've been at home. Dr. Ashley has been awesome. She is so bubbly and her energy is so addicting; ten out of ten. My hygienist Crystal is so gentle and she educated me why my gum pockets are so deep and why I need to keep coming for my regular cleanings and to brush and floss everyday. Most people to to the dentist to treat TMJ but my dentist gave me TMJ. Their inexperienced has caused a great pain to my jaw, ears and head. They placed a rubber mouth piece in my mouth for the entire duration of the procedure (30-40mins) and resulted in TMJ. I had suffered earache as well as headaches for about 2 weeks now and hasn't improve...so hard to find a good dentist nowadays. I had consulted other Dentist and they said it's not common at all to use the rubber mouth piece for more than 10 mins because your jaw muscles needs to relax. But I guess the dentist at smile and co are not experienced enough to know this!!!!! read more

I had my first visit here today. I've been following along on Facebook and seeing the progress. So much better in person. Definitely does not feel like a dentist office. I love the glass walls, makes it have an open feel. The bathroom was nice. The toilet paper was sooooooo soft! Lol and the hand soap smelled really nice. I even loved the tile on the floor. I walked in and was greeted immediately. I was then given a tour around the place. I sat down in the lounge to do some paperwork, but all done on a tablet. I was offered a beverage and kindly accepted a cappuccino. Which she did a great job. Never had one till then. After completing everything on the tablet, Ashley came in and greeted me and we talked. And honestly felt like old time friend just catching up. Once I was in the chair, they took x-rays. And not your normal big clunky machine, but a portable x-ray machine, looks like a camera. So much better! When Ashley came in after the x-rays were taken, she was so informative about everything she was doing. It was great. I haven't gotten that much information from any dentist like that. Some things I had no idea they even did. I'm definitely excited to come back. I agree with other reviews that say the experience starts off great and then goes down hill and the office seems very profit driven. I guess they have to pay for that nice office somehow but I don't want to be the person funding their expenses with unnecessary procedures and high cost upgrades. The office is nice and the staff is sugary sweet (not in a genuine way) when you come in. The nice staff will suggest thousands in expense treatments that other Dentists have never mentioned despite me going to the dentist for routine visits every 6 months for the last 20 years. The technology is awesome, I've been to dental offices where they had screens in the ceiling but always had to sit through whatever programming the office had available but Smile & Co has Netflix! Now you can "Netflix and drill" when you come see your dentist! Just make sure you don't get too comfortable because I didn't even get to finish my show before my session was up. I have been doing to S&C for a few months now. I have severe dentist anxiety after suffering from mouth trauma several years ago. They employees at Smile & Co are SO patient and kind and easy to work with. I am always nervous when I go in, but they seriously make all the difference. They are very reassuring, walk me through each step, and frequently make sure I am doing okay. If I am ever uncomfortable or extra nervous they go above and beyond to make sure I am okay. Took my 2 year old son here today for his first dental appointment. From the decor to the staff to the Doctor, everything was amazing! Walking in I was shocked at how absolutely beautiful the office was, The waiting room looked like a luxurious salon. I was a little nervous because it looks so nice and neat inside and I wasn't sure it would be a kid friendly office but I was proved wrong. Everyone was SO incredibly sweet to my son, they gave him stickers, put on his favorite show while he was getting his teeth checked and even gave him toys to play with. Dr. Alexa was EXTREMELY patient with him. This was by far the best dentist experience I have ever had. My husband got work done as well and they were extremely accommodating with my sons appointment and my husband's. My husband left saying how amazed he was at how nice everyone was. Best dentist I've been too. The environment and staff is very friendly and comforting. Feels a little bit like Star Trek at times with all the high tech stuff they use in there. They let you see all the photos of your teeth and before and after shots. Got a filling today and it was a calm experience. I even got to watch Netflix during it. True story: I used to absolutely hate going to the dentist. Between the smell of the office, the sound of the drilling, and the look of the weird lights, nothing about the experience was comfortable and as a result, I was always terrified. However, after being treated by Dr. Ashley and her amazing team, I can proudly say that I no longer fear going to the dentist. In fact, I actually look forward to my visits.
