Where do I begin....? It's been at least 8 months since my last cleaning, and probably a few years since any dental work, exams, xrays. I received a 'new patient' promo card in the mail, called and had an appt within 2 weeks. Impressed! When I walked into the office for the first time I noticed a clean, organized, professional office with friendly staff and a warm color scheme (which is followed throughout the office all the way down to the 'uniform' the staff wear). I waited less than 5 minutes before I was then seated in a consult room. Dr. Shore came in less than 5 mins later and was kind, thorough and professional. I was then brought to another area and seated in a dental exam room, where a full set of xrays and digital photos were taken by Dr. Shore's assistant, Lindsay (another kind, bright young lady). Afterwards, Dr. Shore came in and performed a full mouth and gum exam. We discussed her findings and then I made another appointment to come in for a cleaning (included in the promo!) and to discuss the 'plan' I'll need to follow in order to get my teeth restored to full health. All this for just $49?! WOW!!! What a killer promotion!!! :) I feel blessed to have received it in the mail! All in all, I have NEVER had such a FANTASTIC experience in any dentist's or doctor's office! Great job!!! You''ve earned my business for life~! I visited Dr. Shore's office for my initial consultation a few weeks back. In the past, certain dentists pushed additional services to try to make a profit at the expense of myself or my insurance company, but Stefanie was honest, caring and explained to me exactly what was going on with my teeth and mouth. Last week I went in to have a cleaning and two cavities drilled and filled. The woman who did my cleaning was hilarious, which helped ease me into the next step, cavity management. Dr. Shore and her assistant Lindsey were very kind and patient with this patient. This means a lot because I don't take direction well. Everything went very smoothly and probably for the first time in my life, I didn't feel pain while at the dentist. They have a great group of positive and caring individuals at that office. And when I say caring, I mean they sincerely care. No forced smiles, they naturally have them, which is always what you want when it comes to those managing your health. I saw Dr. Shore today for my first visit in her practice. I came up the back stairwell, which was kinda sketch, but when I walked into the office, wow! Thoroughly modern, clean, and decorated in a calming way. Since it was my first visit, I had a brief consult with Dr. Shore about my medical and dental history, and then Lindsay took a bunch of x-rays. Lindsay is a great professional and very nice. Dr. Shore then did a comprehensive exam followed by some photos with Lindsay. Well, Lindsay took them, she wasn't in them. After that was another visit to the consult room where we went over the pics of my teeth and mouth. Not a big fan of going to the Dentist, but Dr. Shore and her team are at the top of the list in my book. Can't recommend them enough. read more

I have seen Dr. Shore for about 3 years now, and I have had many procedures done (a few crowns, a few fillings....), and I have been extremely pleased with the level of comfort I feel with her. I have seen a few dentists in my lifetime, but none have had such a wonderful balance between friendliness, comfort, professionalism, and quality work. I have been seeing Dr. Shore for about two years. I am always impressed by the professionalism of the staff and by Dr. Shore's patience and ability to explain procedures to the layman. Jennifer who runs the front desk is exceptionally friendly and I LOVE that I can schedule an appointment with her via google chat or email. She also sends text message appointment reminders, which is awesome. Dr. Shore has made me a mouth guard because I clench my jaw when I sleep at night. The mouth guard has made all the difference. I really feel like Dr. Shore is honest about procedures that are necessary and that she is conscientious and intelligent. My husband and I have looking for a dental office. We recently gotten married and I relocated from Oregon into the Sacramento area. I have finally found the perfect dentist! Dr. Shore and her staff are awesome. They are extremely knowledgeable in their field and are courteous to their patients needs. Dr. Shore explained everything to me regarding my teeth, and made sure I understood it all. Each member of her staff is very personable and try to make you feel as comfortable as possible in their office. I was very impressed. They explain how everything works regarding insurance and made things very simple. I have had very bad experiences in the past, and can be somewhat picky when it comes to who handles my dental care. I, too took advantage of the $49 x-ray, cleaning and check-up promotion. When I returned to the office for a second cleaning I was told by Dr. Shore that I needed a 4-quad-root cleaning costing approx. $350 per quadrant. She also recommended two dental implants at $5k each. I was so upset. I wanted a second opinion and returned to my old dentist which was a distance for me to travel as compared to Dr. Shore's office. I was told that I did NOT need a quad-root cleaning, and that there wasn't any reason that I couldn't have a bridge as opposed to dental implants. His quadrant cleaning was $257 -- $100 per area less. The hygienist was very professional, the assistant was, too. The front office consisted of one very nice, bubbly young lady, another older woman which was okay, and the other one was literally frowning, scowling. I heard her speak unprofessionally to the other two ladies and talked openly about another patient, all within earshot of me! I will NEVER go back there again. read more
