The produce here is of the highest quality. The owner still picks out every box of produce uniquely from his vendors and distributors daily. There is a lot of time and effort that goes into picking the right produce for the season, and the process is repeated every morning by the owner. Only the best quality produce makes it to the shelf, and that which does not meet the high quality standards gets rejected to the markdown section; a great way to get deals on fresh produce you plan to use quickly. The sweet white corn, green beans, and cabbage from Michael's Farms in Urbana Ohio is absolutely UNBEATABLE....It is literally THE BEST SWEET CORN YOUR WILL EAT! Ask the owner when the Michael's Corn is available (usually mid June-late September) Also, the farm the owner sources his South Carolina peaches from is one of the best peach farms in the world. The Sugar Baby watermelons (with the black rine) are amazing. I can literally eat half of one in one sitting. Oh did I mention the prices? They are extremely competitive and usually match or beat big box store prices. The store itself is very clean and regularly receives 100% on health inspections. The deli prices are the best around, and the service you receive here is exceptional. Highly recommend for someone who needs good fresh food but doesn't want the hassle of crowded parking lots and busy aisles of Kroger and Walmart. Most of the salads at the deli are made fresh in house from scratch. Their catering options are great also. Trays are affordable and customizable. Only ripe fruit is used on fruit trays and bowls, and if not ripe or quality, it will not be used on your tray. Veggie trays are made fresh, never pre made, and always use crisp veggies. Every catering order, no matter how big or small, is prepped and made the day it goes out. Nothing is made in advance. They have an entire section dedicated to Windy Acres Nuts and Candy, a local company out of Wilmington Ohio specializing in old fashioned candy and custom mixed trail mixes and mixed nuts, dried fruits, etc. There is also a section dedicated to Colonel De Gourmet Spices!

Saw what we thought was a standard gas station/convenience store, but this was so much more. A deli. An honest to goodness, made-to-order foods deli! With a human working the counter. A beer cave. No joke, I think they had something like 80 different kinds of scratch offs plus those other multi state games. Glad they were here, but the traffic patterns made driving in a challenge and walking over a death wish. Go here, stock up, and be glad stores like this put in the effort.

I came here to try out their version of the traditional Paczki (which is only available the month leading up to lent). Because it was towards the end of the day I called ahead and the friendly employee offered to put what I wanted aside as stock was low. Although small, there is still room for different assorted cases of goodies, several tables, and adequate spacing. I was impressed by their selection comparatively. This included, breads, rolls, pastries, cakes, and cookies. I picked up my paczki and also grabbed a mini cannoli , as I was surprised to see they carried them! Quick and easy transaction. My only disappointment was that these were not aligned with what traditional paczki are supposed to be. I was surprised to find them with frosting (which to me is sacrilegious), and filled with strawberry creme, instead of jelly. I do not generally like frosting, on anything. These were more like a frosted, filled donut, rather than paczki. The cannoli was tasty.

I couldn't taste much lavender flavor and the honey settled at the bottom of the cup, but the matcha itself was strong! I'd order it again, but maybe plain or with a simple syrup and stir before drinking. The pastry was delicious and I would order it again, although I wish it was hot! My friend ordered the Corn Cheese Donuts (came with 3) and an iced Tiramisu Latte. She thought the latte was good but a bit too milky for her taste. The corn donuts were fantastic! The outside/shell is a chewy texture and rolled in sugar, and the inside is hollow and filled with a corn cheese mixture--would definitely order again. The workers were nice and our drinks came out quickly. The interior of this location is nice and bright with many tables to hang out and chat, and some have outlets if you're looking for a place to work. Most of the bakery items (not the cakes though) are in self-serve pastry cases so you take a tray, wax paper, and tongs to grab whatever pastries you want before checking out at the counter, where you can order drinks as well. This is a great place to meet up with friends to catch up, or to grab a pastry and drink to go. I'm excited to try more of their selection!
