I was selling a rental house and needed a water leak in some exterior irrigation piping fixed quickly so we could close the sale. I was unavailable to be on site and Jen one of the office gals was EXCELLENT with customer service. However the plumber "Justin" and the supervisor "Steve or Ed" were HORRIBLE! Plumber got on site and saw the part that was leaking and said he had never seen it before and that "it must be from Sprinklerworld". Being that I was in a rush to get the work done, I said "just fix it". He replaced the leaking piece with something completely different to the tune of $300. The next day I found the same exact part at Home Depot for $33. When I called in to complain/discuss the supervisor was not interested in hearing what I had to say or take any kind of ownership with the issue. He kept talking over me and essentially wouldn't let me complete sentences and listen. Folks this is NOT a company that you want to have doing work for you. To the uniformed they may seem like they want to help and deal fairly, but to those aware they are obviously trying to gouge people they think they can take advantage of. I needed to replace my dish washer because of a leak. After making the appointment for the next day I mentioned the lead and the nice lady had some one out in a couple of hours. Tony came and was just great. He had to get a small part that was missing from the dish washer that I had bought. I have only great things to say about this company and Tony. WARNING: Beth lives in Crazytown! My fiance and I have 4 houses, and I have used this company 6 times in the last 3 years. NEVER AGAIN! The last time they came to my house for a service call, three days later my son was having the same problem. After talking with them a couple of times, they finally said they would come back and redo it and only charge me about $40. I was happy. I gave them my credit card number since I was not at that property and they said they would charge my card. I thought everything was done. Several days later, my son called me and said they had charged his card for both services, AND had charged MORE the second time they came out than they had originally charged. It had overdrawn his bank account. I called Diamondback and they argued with me about the quote I had been given for the second appointment, and also admitted they had charged the wrong card. They talked to a supervisor, called me back and said they would fix the charges. I thought they were going to take the charges off my son's card and charge mine, but I'm not sure what they did. TWO MONTHS LATER, I get a call from Beth (who is apparently the VP, and owner's wife). She had first called my fiance and told him she was taking me to court because I owed them money and had I had reversed the charges on my credit card. HUH? I called her myself and asked what she was talking about, I had never reversed anything. Her response was "Oh, you never reversed your charges? You never reversed your charges? Well, I'll see you in court!" Then she HUNG UP ON ME!!! What?!?!? My fiance called her back after I talked to him and she said that I had been yelling at her and used the F-bomb! Then he just wanted to get this whole thing taken care of so he said he would bring them a check. They said if he came to the office they would call the cops because they felt threatened! It went on and on...needless to say, it was the craziest phone call either of us had ever received from a company, and I would never do business with them again, and will tell everyone I know the same. After several other plumbers took a look, these guys got the job done and for less money! Our Scottsdale store's sink has been backing up for weeks now, and was dangerously close to overflowing. Apparently the "clog" was in the building's main line and it took a LOT of tweaking the snake's angle to get it to go down the right pipe. They also took the time to properly diagnose the real problem (charging my landlord and not me for fixing it). Anyway, I am happy to say I now trust Diamondback Plumbing! This company has been to our house to fix our water heater 3 times. The first time they arrived on time and on schedule. They didn't have the part to fix the water heater, but assured us they would be out the next day to replace the part. No one came or called the next day. We called to find out where our tech was, and they had to send someone else out. The second tech was great and tried to fix the issue, but still needed the original part that was supposed to be ordered. It was supposed to come in on a Tuesday and replaced. Again, no one called about installing the part. We contacted Diamondback Tues afternoon at 4pm, after not hearing anything and they said that the water heater would have to be replaced. Without hot water for just over a week and a half. No bueno. read more

I would 100% use this business again or recommend them to a family manner. I've been burned by a plumber before so naturally I wasn't thrilled about another. My kitchen sink clogged and after 3 attempts at draino and cleaning the trap I was out of ideas. I called Saturday around noon and a couple hours later a plumber showed up as promised. A couple hours after that my sink was fixed. He gave me an estimate within the first few min and even though the job took longer than he expected the price didn't change. My house is over 50 years old. The pipes are not in good shape, plus there's been several patch jobs over the years by previous owner. Long story short he could've found a reason or two for an update. But he didn't. But he did take the time to check out the pipe work on my new sprinklers and let me know it was done right. Called on Friday asked if they could run a propane line, rep on the phone said she did not know but would have a someone call me back who would know...wait until Monday afternoon, no return call...I call back and the rep on the phone said no, they do not work on propane, she sounded a bit "snippy" when I said it would have been nice for someone to have called me back to let me know that, as they had promised. I wish I could comment on the work that Diamondback Plumbing did for me, but I can't because a technician never actually showed up. I scheduled an appointment, and I received a call from the dispatcher (who was very nice, for the record) at roughly 3pm stating that my technician was planning on getting to me in about half an hour, but that he was coming from a bit of a ways away and might not have accounted for traffic. I completely understood that, and I'd set aside my entire evening just in case he was running late or had a lengthy job to do. It's now five hours later, and not only has a technician not come out, but no one called me to let me know that my appointment was being abandoned. I ended up calling in and speaking with the evening dispatcher (who, again, was incredibly nice), and she told me that I'd be getting a call in the morning to reschedule an appointment. Frankly, I don't want to use the services that Diamondback has to offer at this point, because I don't feel like potentially wasting another day sitting at home (not to mention cancelling plans that I can't reschedule) because my technician bailed on me. However, since my property management apparently has some sort of ridiculous arrangement with them, it looks like I'm stuck waiting around for who knows how long until someone actually keeps the appointment. read more

Called tonight at 10:00 P.M. due to an emergency plumbing situation where brown water was coming up into our kitchen sink and not draining. Laundry room drain was also pooling. Smell was unbearable. Spoke to an operator who said a tech would call me back within 5 minutes. After 30 minutes, and no call, I called the main number again. The operator apologized and said he would re-page the on-call tech. at 11pm a tech by the name of Brian called. He sounded half asleep. When I explained my issue, Brain said that I needed to call the main number again to schedule an appointment for the following day. Said that he didn't have the ability to make appointments. Wait..what? Are you kidding me? So whats the point in paging a 24 hour tech? Are you a 24 hour company or not? This guy was worthless, and a complete waste of my family's time. If this is the type of service they give (or dont give) before the tech even comes over, then I'll be damned if I use or suggest them EVER again. read more

I had a bathtub faucet that suddenly would not shut off any more. I called Diamondback Plumbing after reading reviews on Yelp and they sent someone within a few hours - no emergency fees or anything like that. It turned out that the Moen cartridge went bad. Plumber was here for about 10 minutes total. He charged me $89 for labor cost and $90.48 for the cartridge cost. I can get the exact same cartridge from Home Depot for $39.00. I am very happy about the service but the markup on parts is a bit on the crazy side. The service person (Bryan G) was awesome and very friendly and completely professional. read more

The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because the actual plumbing work looks good. The technician wasn't friendly and didn't explain the estimate. The main problem is customer service. If you have a problem and have to deal with anyone in the company, from the receptionist to the owner (the owner actually hung up on me) be prepared for someone who couldn't care less about you or your experience. After I received the quote, they were supposed to come on Wednesday between 2-4pm. I took off of work, waited at home and was stood up, without a phone call or any communication. I called the next day and scheduled another appointment. This time the technician showed up but was an hour late from the time they gave me (no apology or anything). I called to speak with the owner the next day to let them know what had happened. I left a voice mail with no response. After a week I tried to call again, the owner picked up the phone and when I mentioned who I was and why I was calling he hung up. I tried calling back and they said he wasn't available....... Save yourself some headache and just pay a little more money to get actual customer service. I will never use them again & tell everyone I know to NOT use them and go elsewhere. I'm shocked to see this size of a company be so poor mannered with awful customer service. read more

I was able to get a Saturday appt with no up charge and was scheduled for the very next day. Office staff and plumber who came to my home were all very nice, very fast and knew their jobs well. How refreshing! There was no song and dance about how I needed and 400.00 widget, in fact the plumber said it was not as bad as it was described and he had the part and I'd be up and running shortly. I felt very comfortable with the person in my home and appreciated the fact this is an honest company and didn't try to take advantage because I'm a woman. I received a call back from someone on call @ 7:41pm from 602.819.6705. He acted like he "could" come, but his "guy" is already somewhere and wouldn't be done for an hour, but he would come if I really needed him to. I said that I did need him to be over as soon as he was available. He agreed , but still dragged on his answer by saying that it "could" be longer than 2 hours, it could be midnight, he wasn't sure. I then pressed him by asking "he isn't coming at all, is he... ". His answer was " there is a good chance that he won't". So.. how is this a 24 hour service? I appreciate that the serviceman was overworked, so it's not his fault that the company isn't staffing correctly to fulfill the 24/7 service promise. the biggest bait and switch scam i've ever experienced. contract was signed for $4000. halfway thru, oh no...! now we have to do this this & this. going to cost you $12,000.. after that they just hydrojetted like we originally asked them to do. left a big mess for me to clean up and sued me for not paying for things they said the did but clearly the work was not done. had appointment with supervisor 3 times and he never showed up to job site. i had people fly in from ca. for the meeting and steve was a no show then too. absolute worst plumbing co in the valley. they all talk alot of b.s. they lie looking you right in the eyes. i'm warning you folks they will scam you if you have a big project & you ara business. read more
