These guys stopped by our complex around 8:45 PM to check something in a neighbor's unit. They were absolutely blasting music from their service truck parked in front of my patio. The employees around the truck were hanging off of the parking awning cover listening to music laughing and yelling loudly. I would normally just consider it obnoxious behavior and not feel the need to note it but I had put my daughter to bed minutes prior and they were so loud I could hear it in her room with white noise turned up to max. Unbelievable. Pretty sure I heard one of the guys mention something about Percocet. I would stay the hell away from this business unless you really want to pay to have the most immature delinquent loser dudes you remember from high school to come touch anything in your home. read more

We discovered a leak around the flooring in our house. After checking with friends for referrals, we called Diamondback first. Sam and Dylan were at our house within 40 minutes of my panicked phone call. After listening to the troubleshooting my husband and son-in-law had already done, they asked us if we were comfortable letting them cut into the drywall to check one spot before they had to give us a quote to check multiple places in the house. I manage a commercial building and contacted Diamondback Plumbing for an estimate. Four days later I am still waiting. Find another plumber.

We reached out to Diamondback as we were having a hard time finding a plumber that could take care of a rather large job. We had a major leak in the pipe that connected from the street meter to our house. It was the old polybutelene piping. We were hoping to have the entire pipe replaced as this material was recalled years ago. We got turned down from multiple plumbers as they did not want to take on such a big job. The front office staff was so kind when working to schedule our appointment. We got a free quote from Chad and he got us on the schedule within a couple of days. Dane showed up promptly on the scheduled date, dug a trench in our yard to re run the new piping and even moved the line so that it would be more convenient and help us save some significant costs (we would have had to tear up our whole driveway). Dane and his teammate completed the job in two days as we originally anticipated, cleaned up any messes and educated us on the new lines run. We are so thankful for Diamondback as they saved our butts. They did quality work and within budget. Highly Recommend!! read more

I paid $250 for a camera inspection on my sewer line to assess the orange berg plumbing at my house. I wanted to have the inspection completed and get a quote for replacement or any other suggestions the company had prior to renovating my backyard. When I originally contacted the company, they were prompt and pleasant to work with in scheduling an appointment. Here is the sequence of events: 1. June 2021: Initial appointment and payment of $250 2. Never received the video or any quotes for additional services, despite verbally discussing with technician 3. I contacted the company, who told me "the camera inspection has a data corruption file" and they'd return to redo the inspection at no charge 4. July 2021: Second appointment for inspection 5. Never received the video or any quotes for additional services (again) 6. August 2021: Contacted the company several time requesting the video - we went back and forth several times throughout August and September. I was told they "have not been able to get all of the USB drives in yet. If I do not receive it the next couple of days we will touch base again." 7. After ZERO contact or reply, November 2021: Asked for a refund, as I did not receive any of the services I paid for Since then, I have attempted several times to work with the company to get the services I paid for OR a refund. They replied ONE time, only when I threatened to report them to the BBB on Feb 15, 2022. Since then, no replies again. I understand that many businesses are busy right now and understaffed. I am simply asking to receive the inspection I paid for or receive a refund. I am shocked to find the company's business practice includes having people pay for things, delivering nothing, and then ignoring them to hope they forget. I've tried all reasonable efforts to communicate with the company to rectify the situation and have had no luck. read more

The old toilet in one of my bathrooms was slow to flush and starting to leak at the bottom. So I decided it was time to replace it. I ordered a new one-piece dual flush toilet from Amazon and had it delivered to Diamondback, then scheduled an appointment to have it installed. Two guys came out and had the work done in only about an hour, plus they put in a new shower head for me. We have a Whirlpool Hot Water Heater that was installed with a 10 year warranty in 2017. In fairness this company did not install this equipment in 2017. This past weekend 9/24/22, the water heater quit. After determining that we did not have hot water due to a fuse issue, we called Whirlpool for Warranty coverage. "WHIRLPOOL REFERRED" us to "Diamondback Plumbing" and issued an authorization number. My husband called the Diamondback on call technician. He stated we do not have Whirlpool parts. Therefore, we will call you back on Monday to have a Tech come out, diagnose the problem then order the parts. Monday came and went, NO RETURN CALL! REALLY!!! The least this company could have done was to call us back and state they were not interested in doing the repair! read more

I usually don't write reviews but my situation seems warranted. The plumber Daniel came and smelled like cigarettes (the whole area he worked in smelled of cigarettes for hours after he left). He had headphones in his ear the entire time. He didn't measure the part he needed and left the house 3 different times cause he got the wrong part to fix the leak. Then I get a call at 3pm (after I had waited around all morning) asking if the plumber could come by at 4pm. I said that would be fine. I waited at home patiently, and AGAIN, they no showed. Called them for leak around base of toilet, upon arrival pulled toilet and there were roots all around the flange and base of toilet. They pulled all roots out of the and put new wax ring and reinstalled toilet. No toilet leak but the toilet was wobbly when you seat . Everything was done less than 20 minutes and I was charged $370+.. they forgot to give me invoice . they send me invoice return back and fix the wobbly toilet, they found another problem in the toilet kit and they charging us again. Last month i had them install a tankless water heater. Installer was nice and informative and seemed to do good job on installation. However, they did not clean up though i had left 2 vacuum cleaners near their reach. So 15 min of my cleanup afterwards, But then I put my pickup i n the garage when they left. They had parked next to garage with their van open to do the work in garage. Next day my tire had a screw in it which probably was left by them....cleanup again? I called them and they did not seem to interested in my problems. So i spent another two hours to get tire to Discount and then put on again by myself. Be aware. read more

So, we scheduled an appointment for 2 days later at 9am. 9:30 came, and I called to verify that I hadn't written the appointment down wrong. She verified that I had an appointment and said the tech was running late. She said he would be calling me to give me an eta. When the tech called me he had no idea about the appointment. He asked if it was an emergency?.... I said no. It's not an emergency, I have an appointment. He said, "well my friend, I've got 12 emergencies in front of you". I think he thought it was funny for some reason. I hung up and called another company. There are plenty of plumbers in the Phoenix area. Call one that's dependable. Not these people. read more

Disappointing. My 4 year old AO Smith water heater began to leak gas, so I called over the gas company. They used their magic wand detector and told me it was the regulator that went bad, something that was under warranty. Since I am new to replacing water heaters I called AO Smith and they sent a new regulator and recommended diamondback on their site. After a missed appointment and a delayed one a day later they showed up, replaced the entire regulator unit and discovered only afterward that it was just the gas hose that was leaking. My issue with them is that I told them I "suspected" it was the regulator. As a professional company, I would imagine they would test this theory and do their own troubleshooting, unless of course, they wanted the much larger service fee for the regulator, which I suspect. What makes this even worse is 1. They charged me without testing what was wrong for the larger issue, 2. Didn't have a connector hose so I had to buy a $30 dollar part, 3. Told me to install it, and 4. Took the other good part away, probably for resale. I would have expected a great company to outperform their customers expectations by determining the issue first before replacement and then shipping back the part to save AO Smith money on a replacement nad the customer money on an unneeded service charge for a part that was not bad. Oh, and not expect a customer to fix their own water heater when that is what they were called to do. read more

Justin stayed late to finish his big portion because he knew he wouldn't be available the next day and didn't want anyone to have to finish his work. So responsible. I like using a team that can do it all and charge a reasonable amount for their expertise. I refer everyone to them and have had the same feedback as everyone appreciates their skills! read more

Contacted them to have an AO Smith water heater repaired. They are even on the AO Smith directory for authorized repair centers. They sent a tech out and the tech said he needed to get in touch with AO's tech support for assistance to help diagnose the problem. However the tech support was closed. So the technician said their is nothing he can until Monday when tech support opens. I was told to call the office to make another appointment for Monday for the tech to return. The operators answered (btw their operators are all very polite and kind) and they transferred to the supervisor on duty, Joe. I asked Joe if I was going to be charged for today visit. Joe replied "yes" and "people don't work for free" and "did he not come out their to fix your water heater?" The tech only made a call. Did not even try to diagnose the problem because he did not have the knowledge to do so without tech support. I would assume a company that repairs AO water heater would also know that the tech support is closed on the weekends if that is how they normally operate. They could have saved themselves a trip if they knew their technician would need tech support. I called up a different plumber on the AO list and he knew exactly what was needed to be done and had it repaired the same day. I do not recommend Diamondback Plumbing read more

We called Diamondback Plumbing to fix a slab link in the suspected area on a bathroom. The technician came out with the sounding equipment and identified where he thought the leak was. To verify he cut into one wall and cut the hot water pipe coming from the manifold into the bathroom and then kitchen. He reworked the hot water pipe manifold so we could have hot water in the rest of the house. Before going he stated that they would get us a full repair quote the next day and get us on the repair schedule since we had no hot water in the kitchen. The next day by noon we had no quote or phone call. We call and was told that it normally takes 1 week to get a quote. We explained the situation and what was told us. We were told the technician was in classes for the next few days. After we talked to a supervisor, he got us a quote. However that afternoon we found that there was water leaking into our garage from the wall the technician worked in. We called and left word that we were having leaks. Next day, no word from the company so we called and emailed the supervisor and advised of the continuing leaks and our disappointment. Now 3 days later and more leaking, still no communication even though we paid for the preliminary work done. To solve the temporary fix, we had another plumber come out. He determined that the original technician did not put a cap on the cut line and the water is backflowing from the kitchen sink cold water through the hot water line when the faucet is turned partway hot. So we are not several hundred dollars out of pocket with no communication at all from Diamondback Plumbing. I'd avoid this company and wish there was a way to get all or part of our money back. read more

A clogged toilet that I couldn't plunge or snake out myself is bad. But when it happens the night before my parents are due to arrive in the morning to stay at my house for the week, it's really bad. I called a few places first thing in the morning. Most couldn't get me in that day. Some would come out, but would only do it after hours and would have to charge extra. But Diamondback was able to squeeze me in during a 1:00 to 5:00 window. It was also the only company willing to give me a ballpark figure on how much I should expect to be charged for the job (Every other place would only tell me that there is a call out fee that would be waived if they did the work, and the plumber would determine the charge on site). The plumber came in the middle of the four hour window I was given. Unclogged the toilet in just a few minutes. And then gave me a discount since the job was so easy and fast. He probably wanted to insure that a first time customer would definitely give them a glowing review, recommendations, and use them again. Guess, what? It worked. read more

I used Diamondback Plumbing for a slab leak repair a few years ago and they were awesome. So we called them again a few weeks ago for a leak at the kitchen sink and again this morning for a massive leak in our front yard. For the kitchen sink leak, a technician was out in a couple hours on a Saturday, and it was within an hour or so for this emergency with the main line leak. These guys are reasonably priced - even for an emergency call - and they do really good work. I will continue to call and use them when in need of a plumber. Their estimate was below other competitors by hundreds. Taking into consideration quality of material! Spoke with Chad for the estimate and information and he was very professional, taking time with me to explain everything and recommendations. Then filtering out other companies I found Diamond back to be the best. With that, I had a plumber (Matt) come out just hours later that day. He also was onsite to provide a more accurate quote and was within the parameters of what I was quoted over the phone. Even though it was a tedious procedure, within a couple of days it was fixed. Tony was very patient with me and answered all my questions explaining what they were doing and what to expect.
