Started Physical Therapy here referred by the VA. I had an early morning appointment, however, I…read morewoke up very early sick as a dog. I called and left a message around 6am, prior to them even opening that I was sick and unable to make the appointment. They charged me a fee for not calling in prior to the 24 hours. When I questioned it, the physical therapist told me he wouldn't do anything about it, even after I explained what happened and that I called as soon as I woke up and left a message. I understand what the policy is for, however, what are we supposed to do in this case? When I asked if I was supposed to come in to my appointment with explosive diarrhea he shrugged his shoulders. He was very nonchalant and didn't seem to care if he retained my business. This was the first time this happened that I had to call and cancel. I won't be back and have not recommended them since.
