I was told they have the lowest patient/nurse ratio of 10-12 patients per nurse and that's not true. They were at 17 patients per nurse, and the nurses were very tired and run down. Some would get rude and make comments about not having the time, and how short staffed they are. Unfortunately, that's probably the case everywhere. We had an incident, and they had a very dramatic response to the incident. They talk very condescending to patients. The case manager told my mom that she sounds like a "child". They are missing compassion for their patients. My mom was given a note from Dr Monday morning that she's good to go home if she can walk 200 feet. They would not discharge her until Wednesday. The only reason they got any stars is because their physical therapy team is absolutely amazing.
