I went to San Tan Physical Therapy for help with my balance and walking gait. I met with Joal, the owner of San Tan Physical Therapy and from the beginning I have received nothing but outstanding service and therapy. Everyone from the front desk staff to the interns have been more than welcoming and helpfully with my therapy. I feel my balance and walking have greatly improved. Robyn one of the PT has challenged me in every aspect of my therapy which in turn have made me appreciate the knowledge Robyn and the rest of the staff have regarding my therapy. Danelle at the front desk always greets you warmly, and makes sure to help you get a schedule that works for you. Every tech is well-trained and always helpful. Jeff, Hannah, Savannah, and Tucker all made sure I had the equipment I needed and were right there to help me if I had any questions about the exercises. Carl was the main therapist I saw and he was great, making sure I understood what was going on with my injury and helping to guide me in my recovery. Joal, Jillian, Kimberly also helped me along the way, all of them helping me on the road to recovery. Everyone was friendly, including Colleen in billing when I had the chance to interact with her. I am a current patient of San Tan Physical Therapy. I have had a number of issues with some moderate injuries and was referred to San Tan PT by my orthopedic doctor.. I have been to a couple of PT offices in the past, however, I have yet to find one that has the expertise and high level of professionalism as San Tan PT. The staff is not just good, they are excellent. They are knowledgeable and capable. They have all of the equipment that you might need to go through an injury recovery effort. I had shoulder pain and went to San Tan Physical Therapy. Joal's Team took care of me. They evaluated me and put me on an extensive program for twice a week sessions that lasted about an hour.. i was doing 11-12 different exercises that focused on strengthening the entire shoulder muscle system.. The Final treatment each session was a very deep massage. Outstanding relief... i recently "graduated " from the program.l that began in Nov 2024 . This past fall I had both of my knees replaced at the same time. Needles to say, physical therapy has been playing a huge role in my recovery and overall range of motion. Joal, Robyn, and the team have been phenomenal. They pushed me hard the past few months. I always left walking out the door with wobbly legs...but I knew I was one step closer to a full recovery than I was before I arrived that day. I can't recommend them more. I originally went to San Tan Physical Therapy back in April 2021 after having my right knee replacement. At first I was not sure how I would get thru this. Joal and Robyn and the rest of the staff were incredible. I believe they were a huge help in getting me out of that mess. After the surgery I thought I had made a mistake, but with there help in pushing me I believe that I would not be where I am today 2 years later. I am now seeing them again as my left knee became injured. My knee Dr. Wanted me to schedule 6 weeks of Therapy and there is only one place that I would like to go. I am now on my final visits with them, and at this point I have cancelled my appointments with my knee Doctor for now. My recommendation if you are needing any Physical Therapy. I rate ApexNetwork Physical Therapy as "SUPERIOR!" I have been to three physical therapists over the years, but ApexNetwork Physical therapy at 37591 N. Gantzel Rd, San Tan Valley has been the only physical therapist to make my recovery faster with reduced pain. Eric Shifley and the staff are caring and listen to patients' needs. I had a total knee replacement and was concerned it would not be nearly as functional as the original. I am still in therapy but have nearly all flexion of my knee. I had no hope that my quality of life would return to near normal as it was when my knee was not injured. Sure, it will never be as perfect as when I was younger, but these therapists will do everything they can to get you at maximum performance. Highly recommended! read more

The therapists here are AMAZING!!????? After going to another physical therapy location close to my home for rotator cuff injuries I was very discouraged. I had very little results after many weeks of therapy and I didn't feel like I was being heard. I also didn't feel like I was part of my own treatment. All that changed when I found SanTan Physical Therapy. From the initial consultation I knew this place was different. Joal asked many questions, listened to my answers and explained his recommendations in detail. I now travel 4 hours in the beginning of the week and stay with a friend for the 3 days I have my therapy scheduled for, then take the 4 hour drive home. Why? Because Joal and his team are incredible. They listen, they care they help you get to feeling better. I never feel rushed or pushed to do more than I physically can. They listen and encourage me to do only what I comfortably can and if something isn't working, they listen and make the adjustments I need to get the most out of my recovery with as little discomfort as possible. Having chronic hip pain is aweful. Having a physical therapy office that can help lessen the pain is wonderful. Everyone at San Tan Physical Therapy is so friendly and helpful, from Jennifer at the front desk, to Nicolas who does the trigger point injections to Joal who does the physical therapy. The owner (Joal) and the therapists who work here are simply amazing! First of all, everyone is friendly, professional with my care, yet are a very fun loving group who enjoy their patients... Joal, Jen, Robyn, and Dakota, Ashley and Christina (Office Manager) are always very personable! Christina, the Office Manager, well, Christina is the most organized and knowledgeable person ever when it comes to all things office. The girl remembers everything, knows everything, and is the glue that holds the office scheduling, billing and everything in between together. And she's absolutely a delight! Joal, Jen and Robyn have all treated me. Each one is so amazing and knows their stuff! As much as it hurts sometimes while recovering from injuries, they never push me beyond their limit! The girl at the front desk that answers the phone is very rude and gave my boyfriend a letter attitude when he asked if he could change his appointment time by 30 minutes cause he was running late at work. She told him he was going to charge him $25 for this and $30 for that and was really snotty with him she needs to learn some customer service he won't be back. read more

I'd never been to physical therapy before I came to San Tan Physical Therapy. I have horrible back pain. I had no idea what to expect. Joal was extremely compassionate and professional. I left the office feeling 50% better which was a major improvement since it was only my first visit. He sent me home with a diagram of some strengthening exercises that I can do at home. At first this place seemed alright and I would have agreed with all these reviews. However, after seeing how fake these people really, my faith in the healthcare worker has dropped exorbitantly. As I did my exercises I sat back and watched as the therapists has nice smiling faces while dealing with their customer, only to resort to faces of disgust that they would exchange to each other when they thought the patients werent looking. This happened more than once. One would roll their eyes, another would stick out their tongue and point into their mouth as if to say "gag". I was happy with the place until then. So, if you don't mind your "caring" PT to make inappropriate, unprofessional jokes at your expense when your back is turned... then this place is for you. read more

Even though there are many P/T offices near my home, and it is a little of a distance to travel, I decided to come back to see Joal for P/T because he is personable, he cares about his patients and you can tell he loves helping people. His staff Lisa, Robyn, Dakota, David, Kerri and Christina (office manager) are all great to work with, too I recommend them 1000% if you need a P/T. We had our first appointment today with Joal for my 18-year-old's back problem. What a great experience! He was very thorough in his assessment and gave us very detailed exercises and stretches to do at home for the next week before returning. He sent us home with a detailed instruction sheet with pictures of each exercise or stretch.
