I was going for pelvic floor therapy and have a new baby at home and they were so compassionate and flexible when creating my care plan AND even let me bring my baby when I didn't have anyone to watch her. Huge shoutout to Jessica, Marlena, and Nicolette (sorry if I misspelled) but they were the loveliest care team I could have asked for. Been coming here every so often over recent years for a variety of issuse from ankle, to lower back…read moreto neck issues and have always experienced great care from their physical therapists and it remains a place I recommend for injury rehab and education regardless if you are a pro athlete, a weekend warrior, or a regular joe injured on the job or doing everyday activities. Not only are they skilled to help, but they asdo do care. But that also means that there aren't sometimes issues that need attention or rectifying. The lost star from this visit is becasue of certain assumptions made during my visit. It is common fore your therapist here, when applying cups or needles as a therapudic tool, will walk away and work on others. Sometimes they dont return and another care professional will finish up. On this case, that was what happened and I was just handed some papers showing after care execises to do at home. The problem was, there was no communication as to the purpose of each or demonstartions. Because they know me, there was an assumption that I know what to do at home. Although a picture and description is helpful, it is very easy to do things wrong making it ineffective to the intent or in such a way to cause undesired pain or fatigue. So always ask, if it is your first time with a new exercise or you are addressing a different issue from the last time, ask for a demonstration before you leave. They have offered an opportunity to come in and go over those exercises as part of my last appointment. Transparency, this is an edited review. Other issues involving a new person at the front desk were resolved after one of the owners called me personally to better understand issues I had. That is being resolve with both Training and any other type of customer support notification. And the fact I was called, vs. a canned written response on yelp, shows that they care and further supports my positive recommendation. I went several times with hardly any gains so a friend referred me to Joe at Ignite. Wow what a difference. I started getting ROM back quicker than expected and began to build strength with manipulation and exercise guided by Joe and his team. His wife Tara scheduled me right away and Danielle has always been such a pleasure working with scheduling. I recently had a total knee replacement and started working to get my range and flexibility and strength back. I would never go anywhere else but Ignite. Our mother was admitted to Well Springs SNF following a hospital stay and was supposed to receive…read morephysical and occupational therapy to help her regain strength and independence. The evening she arrived, she was still able to walk. Unfortunately, the therapy she was supposed to receive--at minimum 3-4 times per week--rarely happened. Sessions were short, inconsistent, and often skipped entirely. Instead of helping her improve, staff frequently left her lying in bed or sitting in a wheelchair for most of the day. Over time, her muscles deteriorated significantly, and walking became nearly impossible. Eventually, she could no longer take steps without the assistance of a walking device. Basic care was severely neglected. She was not properly bathed or given adequate peri-care. Staff tried forcing her into Depends, despite the fact that she had never needed them in her life. As time went on, it became obvious this was simply because staff did not want to assist residents to the restroom. There were many times she would call for help and wait 30-45 minutes before anyone responded, often resulting in humiliating accidents. Her medications were mixed up on several occasions. We also witnessed feces- and urine-soaked bedding and clothing being left in her room and even thrown onto the floor. Our family met with management, including Heath, multiple times, but despite plenty of promises, nothing ever changed. We ultimately removed her from the facility, and within 12 hours she had to be hospitalized with a severe blood infection caused by unsanitary conditions and neglect along with bed sores on her back side. The night staff were by far the worst. My mother began recording the amount of time it took for someone to answer her call button because the delays were so excessive. She also suffered falls there--despite never having fallen before in her life. On multiple occasions, night staff left her lying on the floor with only her own pillow placed under her head while waiting for another employee to help lift her, sometimes for 20 minutes or longer. There were also several times our family arrived and found all the doors locked, forcing us to wait extended periods before anyone answered. Each visit, our mother appeared more neglected and distressed because of the poor care she was receiving. Late at night, children--presumably employees' kids--would run through the halls loudly, disturbing residents. Her water containers were frequently left empty and dried out. This place was an absolute nightmare. We personally witnessed verbal abuse from staff toward other patients in common areas. Based on our experience, I strongly urge others to stay far away from this facility. Their negligence nearly cost our mother her life.
