Been coming here every so often over recent years for a variety of issuse from ankle, to lower back to neck issues and have always experienced great care from their physical therapists and it remains a place I recommend for injury rehab and education regardless if you are a pro athlete, a weekend warrior, or a regular joe injured on the job or doing everyday activities. Not only are they skilled to help, but they asdo do care. But that also means that there aren't sometimes issues that need attention or rectifying. The lost star from this visit is becasue of certain assumptions made during my visit. It is common fore your therapist here, when applying cups or needles as a therapudic tool, will walk away and work on others. Sometimes they dont return and another care professional will finish up. On this case, that was what happened and I was just handed some papers showing after care execises to do at home. The problem was, there was no communication as to the purpose of each or demonstartions. Because they know me, there was an assumption that I know what to do at home. Although a picture and description is helpful, it is very easy to do things wrong making it ineffective to the intent or in such a way to cause undesired pain or fatigue. So always ask, if it is your first time with a new exercise or you are addressing a different issue from the last time, ask for a demonstration before you leave. They have offered an opportunity to come in and go over those exercises as part of my last appointment. Transparency, this is an edited review. Other issues involving a new person at the front desk were resolved after one of the owners called me personally to better understand issues I had. That is being resolve with both Training and any other type of customer support notification. And the fact I was called, vs. a canned written response on yelp, shows that they care and further supports my positive recommendation. By far my favorite place for PT! I can't begin to express how appreciative I am for the care I have been given at Ignite. I had shoulder surgery thru Ortho Az where I also began my therapy. I went several times with hardly any gains so a friend referred me to Joe at Ignite. Wow what a difference. I started getting ROM back quicker than expected and began to build strength with manipulation and exercise guided by Joe and his team. His wife Tara scheduled me right away and Danielle has always been such a pleasure working with scheduling. I recently had a total knee replacement and started working to get my range and flexibility and strength back. I would never go anywhere else but Ignite. I have been to two other PT businesses over the past 10 years and was not looking forward to PT after my knee surgery. Someone recommended Iginite to me and I have finally found a place I would also recommend. The difference here is they work as a team. When they give me 2 or three sets of exercise to do, If one of them is working with someone else, a team member gives me the next steps to do. At the other places I ended up constantly waiting 10 minutes in between sets while they were helping someone else which was frustrating. The team at Ignite knows what they are doing and work together to help you recover. I highly recommend trying them if you need PT! read more

I brought my 12 year old son in this morning to start treatment for plantar fasciitis, which he's had for years. After ONE session he walked out happy, feeling like it went away and it's as if he never had it at all. DO NOT trust this office administration staff. They mislead you on billing and insurance information coverage. They are unethical and non transparent in their billing and insurance coverage explanations. Not to mention, this practice is overly busy, and sub par at minimum with their services. If you want true physical therapy, Ignite is the place to go. I could barely walk when I arrived two weeks ago. Joe worked on my knee and calf so expertly that I am back walking and planning a hike this weekend. The true difference with Ignite is the DPT is doing the heavy lifting versus a heat bag and exercise assistant. I recommend making appointments well ahead of time as the clinic is busy. read more

I had my left ACL replaced on 11JUN14. On 27JUN14 I was released to start my physical therapy. Being a bit "handicapped" I wanted to take my physical therapy somewhere close. I had seen the Ignite building many times as it was pretty much across teh street from me so I decided to go there. Funny story, I actually looked up physical therapists on my insurance list for who was on their list. I was in a rush and found Kinect Physical Therapy on the map (also just off Riggs), called, and made an appointment. I showed up at Ignite for my "appointment" to which they kindly said that I was not in the system. I figured that maybe something got missed... then as I was filling out the normal paperwork it dawned on me that I was at the wrong place. I confirmed with Ignite that I was covered under my insurance and then called Kinect to say that I wouldn't be with them. Ignite is the place that I wanted - they had good reviews on Yelp as well as being super close to me so I stuck with them. Sorry Kinect! I am now about 3 weeks into my treatment at Ignite. I have worked with or been worked on by Joe (Physical Therapist), Ashley (Technician), and Tara (Occupational Therapist). The short story on them is that they are great all around. As for treatment they have a nice blend of hands-on therapy (i.e. massages), manual exercises for you to do yourself (i.e. heel slides, stationary bike), and technology (i.e. ultrasound, laser, electrical muscle stimulation). I have done other therapy for other ailments and the blend ratio was much different than here (i.e. all manual exercises, etc.). The multi-directional approach, at least to me, seems sound and I personally appreciate it. I feel that there are some things that are better served by manual exercises over technology and vice-versa. And let us face the facts, nobody wants to go in somewhere, pay money (insurance or not) just to be given manual exercises that they could probably look up online and do at home. As an added bonus all the other patients there are friendly too. As you may have guessed you end up getting on similar schedules and start seeing the same people all the time... which is kind of cool. Since I am stuck at home with my leg I have been designated as the babysitter so I've had to take them into Ignite. All the workers there are kid-friendly so as long as your kids can be self-sustaining and respectful then Ignite wouldn't mind them be there. Just make sure that they don't decide to sit on their sandwich like my son did. The place seems to make good use of their floor as well. They have multiple tables along the wall where 80% of the work seems to take place and then exercise equipment in the middle and then some free-weights and mats along the wall. See the pictures. Furthermore they also have two rooms with doors just in-case you want a massage (by their in-house massage therapist, Kyle) or you are a little shy about showing skin for any treatment that requires you to lift your shirt/pants (i.e. laser treatment), I haven't seen anyone use that but I do want to make it known that there is an option if that is something that concerns you. A few little random things to wrap this review up. They do seem clean as well. Doing the exercises does get you a little sweaty on the tables and the tables are cleaned right there in front of you. Again, nice to see. They also have a TV to watch and if nothing is on/playing then they usually just have Pandora or something playing. All-in-all, a great place. I am so thankful my daughter located IGNITE Physical Therapy. It is difficult to find a PT experienced in manual therapy, but IGNITE is one of the best places for it. The first time I went to IGNITE, I knew it was the right place for me. Due to a fall resulting in serious injury to my inner thigh, quad, calf and lower back muscles, I required six months 2x/week of therapy. On each visit, I was greeted by name and the staff were always very friendly, professional and caring. Jamie (PT) and Hunter (Tech) were my therapists. Each took the time to connect with me. Jamie did a thorough review on the leg and lower back muscles. He came up with a plan and performed manual therapy on me. Over time, my muscles began to wake up and I could begin to use them. I entered my first therapy session using a walker, progressed to a cane, and left walking without any assistance. IGNITE is what I would call a "happy place". Each staff member seems to really enjoy working there and their happy, positive attitudes rub off on each patient. Jamie and Hunter knew how hard to push me and I left every treatment feeling better physically. I looked forward to each visit and feel that it was the best physical therapy experience I've had. In November, a horse fell on me and as soon as I was released to get PT I turned to Wade Dowling at Ignite Physical Therapy. He was wonderful and worked with me. I showed up with an old lady walker and after a few weeks he had me strong enough to walk with out my cane or walker except for long distances. I recommend Ignite PT completely. I had serious pain in my neck where I could not move from left to right, unbelievable pain. A friend recommended Joe and his office. He took me right away and worked on me for over an hour. That was a Friday by Monday I was moving my neck. Joe even called me on Sunday to see how I was. After a week of therapy, I am back to normal. I do not recommend places lightly, but I will tell you, if you should need therapy for any reason, this is where you should go. read more

Went to my first appointment today and I can't say enough, how friendly and helpful the staff and PT's were. Wade made sure to do a full evaluation and found more than what my doctor saw as far as lack of range in certain areas which he feels could be why I have the pains I have at times. He didn't overload me with "homework" for my first day which is nice. It really helps me feel like they want me to succeed and build my strength up the right way and not just go through the motions! Hard to find people you can trust to help you when you are in pain. After some lower back pain I saw them beside my dentist's office in Chandler. The office is open and friendly and more importantly their were several being worked on. I decided to give them a shot and Joe Poloni, the owner gave me a free consult. Joe and his team are the absolute best. Their knowledge and ability to work with you as an individual are unsurpassed. I was a little reluctant to go back to physical therapy. In the past it seems as though other therapists would prescribe exercises, stand there and watch me perform them, and then send me home with more to do there as well. While I'm sure this had some benefit, Joe and his team are definitely more hands-on... Literally. The detailed attention they pay to soft tissue with therapeutic massage and other therapies has made all the difference for me. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I'm a runner and I do weight training and occasionally have related injuries. I've been using Ignite Physical Therapy for 2 years now and they are AMAZING! Two years ago, I injured my hip flexor and thought I would never be able to run again but Joe's expertise in dealing with my very painful injury was incredible! As an older ex-athlete trying to stay active (and my first time ever in PT) I worried about being dismissed because of my age. Some of my friends had mentioned that their therapists told them "That's just what happens with age" and I really did not want to accept that as my reality. I had injured my hamstrings and had a lot of pain with everyday activities, let alone exercise. After my first session at Ignite I was so pleased and my initial worries couldn't have been more wrong. This is a fantastic office, they really care about you and really know what they are doing, very knowledgeable. They are flexible with appointment times, and really care about what you are going through. If you are in pain, they will get you in! I went to two other very well known physical therapy offices before Ignite and it was a complete waste of time. Ignite does not just give you a few exercises and send you on your way...They do a variety of different treatments and work with you to make your pain go away. Joe Poloni is one of about eight PTs I have seen over the past couple of years because of a pretty serious ATV accident and about 8 following surgical procedures. He was BY FAR the best and most attentive of all the PTs with whom I have worked. By total coincidence I started working out at a CrossFit gym with him after my treatments. He is also an awesome athlete who really understands the rigors and needs of hard core athletics. If you need a great PT go see him! ***Update*** This morning while warming up for my work out I tweaked something in my back. I went ahead and pushed through the work out and headed to work. By the time I got to the office I could barely move or take a deep breath without major pain. I've never been a big fan of going to the chiropractor, so I decided to suck it up see how the morning went. After a couple of hours I couldn't take anymore so called Joe. His office was closing for the day so he could do some house calls. Instead of telling me to come tomorrow he let the rest of his staff go home and stuck around while I drove over from Tempe. So thankful to have been referred to Ignite by our pediatrician. My newborn son had Torticollis (had no idea what that was initially) and Joe was amazing with him. He educated me and took time in showing the stretches to do at home. Despite being busy some days, he was attentive and focused when it was my sons turn. FAMILY AFFAIR! My family started out over 2 years ago taking turns going to Ignite PT. First, my teen who has medical conditions which require her to constantly strengthen & align her body. Joe immediately jumped to the challenge, read up, and has always been great at communicating with her through her PT program. Alex is just as amazing with her, helping with back issues, knee issues, migraines and more. G is so knowledgeable and understands the mechanics that individuals, especially athletes need to improve their game and get stronger overall. Chris is on top of making sure the patients are on track, know their exercises, and of course, cracking smart remarks :) My son, an athlete, returns to Ignite when he is in need of alignment or tweaking his form. He has been through rehab PT after injuries with Ignite and formerly with another EV physical therapy. There is NO comparison! I continue to be impressed with the knowledge and expertise that the team has with injuries, athletes, chronic pain and every day issues. I myself have seen Joe, Alex (watch the ASTYM!) and most recently Wade (great with Needling) for various reasons over the past couple of years. I will never go anywhere else. It's not just ONE physical therapist that is good... they are ALL amazing! And I'm not done... my husband has a chronically bad back, for years. Ignite is the first place he has had lasting relief!! (and he has tried lots of different therapies, procedures and medicines). One visit and he was a believer! And lastly, even my youngest soccer player returns periodically to get back in condition and realign her knees, hips, or ankles as needed through the season. I met Joe and Tara today for a new patient exam. I recently experienced lower back pain and was referred to the office by a gp. I like that the office is a private and not corporate owned office. We are so grateful for Ignite Physical Therapy! Our almost 4 year old daughter started PT for toe walking- a habit she was doing about 90% of the time. Joe has been working with her for the last few weeks and the transformation has been amazing! I have been to a handful of physical therapists for the same issue but going to ignite is what has helped me the most. Joe is amazing and spends time assessing what's wrong with you and does a great job explaining everything. The entire staff is wonderful. After suffering many dance related injuries over the years, I have been referred to a few different physical therapists. However, I was very limited due to my insurance. Most times, I would feel better for a day or two, and then the pain would come back. I go to school in New York, so it is not exactly possible for me to see the same doctors year-round. After returning for my next visit, I would be treated as if I was the one doing something wrong!
