And they're still trying to to force me to come into the office when it's impossible to make it over there. They even informed me that doctor weinstein could easily just call me "if he wanted to" and was completely up to him. What a solid guy. Appreciate you wasting 5 months of my time and giving me zero answers and not sharing results with my listed pcp like I've asked and communicated. Dignity health & this doctor have been hell to work with. Aswell as your team. Waiting 2-3 weeks when your patient communicates there not sleeping and dying of pain. You think you'd have some urgency to get him answers and communicate professionally as someone who practices medicine for a living. I'm now going to be getting another referral waiting weeks to go to another office because of the unprofessionalism practices from this office. And having to go get more imaging and expose myself to more bullshit. And waste more time. You guys are extremely careless and your healthcare system sucks.

From the first day I walked into his offices everything has just clicked with great communication. I had a X-ray done the day of my first visit and I had already had several X Rays, CT and MRIs done years in the past so I knew what I was up against. I really like the way he communicates, he's very direct and down to earth. He said well.....the shoulder has significant bone loss and muscle tears. We can try some shots to elevate the pain or the only other option is shoulder replacement. What path would you like to take? I immediately said I want full replacement. I told him about all the past information I had collected and what past options I was given. All of which pushed me toward pain relief only. I was done with that and ready to have my shoulder repaired permanently once and for all. And I could see he new I was ready. He called in one of his staff people who scheduled his surgery's and from that point forward things just moved along perfectly. It was about a 4 month +\~ out schedule to surgery date but in that time others pre-op items were taken care of and items at home needed to be done as well before surgery date. Surgery was performed at Mercy Hospital across the street from his offices. I was very pleased with the Hospital staff and the way everyone did there jobs to make me as comfortable as possible. I was in and out the very next day by noon. This was not my first time being in a hospital for surgeries, so I knew what I was in for. I will need my other shoulder replaced next year and won't hesitate to come back to Dr Weinstein and have it done at Mercy Hospital. Outstanding surgeon and surgical staff.

Is there is more money in attempted repair than the TKR I had originally requested? I now wonder. Regardless, it has been just over a week; I am off pain killers and moving around with only a cane. I can even walk a little on even ground unassisted. With Weinstein and I couldn't walk properly for months. So after four months I went went back and complained to his face... which was a complete waste of time. My advice (and I did it this time) get multiple opinions, recommendations and do not let your self get sweet talked. Also pick a surgeon that specializes in the particular joint you are replacing or at least that are of the body, not one that can, or does, replace all sorts of other body parts.
