Been coming here every so often over recent years for a variety of issuse from ankle, to lower back…read moreto neck issues and have always experienced great care from their physical therapists and it remains a place I recommend for injury rehab and education regardless if you are a pro athlete, a weekend warrior, or a regular joe injured on the job or doing everyday activities. Not only are they skilled to help, but they asdo do care. But that also means that there aren't sometimes issues that need attention or rectifying. The lost star from this visit is becasue of certain assumptions made during my visit. It is common fore your therapist here, when applying cups or needles as a therapudic tool, will walk away and work on others. Sometimes they dont return and another care professional will finish up. On this case, that was what happened and I was just handed some papers showing after care execises to do at home. The problem was, there was no communication as to the purpose of each or demonstartions. Because they know me, there was an assumption that I know what to do at home. Although a picture and description is helpful, it is very easy to do things wrong making it ineffective to the intent or in such a way to cause undesired pain or fatigue. So always ask, if it is your first time with a new exercise or you are addressing a different issue from the last time, ask for a demonstration before you leave. They have offered an opportunity to come in and go over those exercises as part of my last appointment. Transparency, this is an edited review. Other issues involving a new person at the front desk were resolved after one of the owners called me personally to better understand issues I had. That is being resolve with both Training and any other type of customer support notification. And the fact I was called, vs. a canned written response on yelp, shows that they care and further supports my positive recommendation. Thank you Ignite Physical Therapy, located in Chandler on Riggs & Lindsey (north-west corner), for caring, especially Richie and Tara.

I had shoulder surgery thru Ortho Az where I also began my therapy. I went several times with hardly any gains so a friend referred me to Joe at Ignite. Wow what a difference. I started getting ROM back quicker than expected and began to build strength with manipulation and exercise guided by Joe and his team. His wife Tara scheduled me right away and Danielle has always been such a pleasure working with scheduling. I recently had a total knee replacement and started working to get my range and flexibility and strength back. I would never go anywhere else but Ignite. Not only do they take care of me physically but it's such an easy and pleasant process and great experience More than highly recommend!!! I choose them every time!!

After a hiking incident, I received a ACL reconstruction using my quad tendon, meniscal repair, and some other things, so I needed physical therapy to be able to walk again. Over the past year, my experience working with Sheree, Shay and Melanie was AMAZING! They were attentive, supportive, flexible, motivational and made my recovery process enjoyable. Spending 2-3 hours doing this recovery was not always fun, I cried sometimes, but this staff made me feel safe and comfortable. Along side Sheree, Shay and Melanie's care, the techs, James, Ethan and Julio, and receptionist, Yessenia, were also a pleasure to work with. They honestly felt like a family in the end. I LOVE this office, and would recommend to anyone dealing with physical pain, or a post-operative recovery. I am moving out of state, which is the only reason we're ending care, and they gave me more exercises to work on! Knee surgery & recovery is a tough long process, so having people who are GREAT at what they do, and create an enjoyable environment is HUGE! Thank youuu to Athletico Chandler! Love you!

My first appointment was just two weeks after surgery. There was an initial screening conducted by the Clinic Manager. From that an individualized treatment program was established and an initial set of home exercises was printed out for me to do every day. I had appointments at Athletico twice a week. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about assigning therapy appropriate for my current ability yet guiding me to the next level. During the 11 weeks of Physical Therapy (PT) they lead me through a series of progressively challenging exercises to strengthen my knee and associated muscles. I was also taught how to become cognizant of habits that were limiting my recovery. I enjoyed each session and was totally wiped out when I got home. The environment is one of serious therapy but includes music and playful bantering among everyone in the room. The key to success is showing up for scheduled appointments on time and eager to perform coupled with doing the prescribed home exercises religiously. Your level of success is directly proportional to your level of commitment to becoming physically healthy and strong. I also wanted to add that their billing process works very well. I compared each bill that I received to what my insurance identified as 'patient responsibility' and they matched perfectly. Online payment is simple.

At the end of my therapy session they iced my knees connected to some device. They said they didn't hear the timer. This is was over staffed at the time and there were more clients than employees. I was really mad to fact that they didn't care. They were too busy talking amongst themselves or watching tv. They really don't care. I will never go back and will talk to my physician whom highly recommended this place. What a disappointment. Foothills provided EXCELLENT rehab care for them at the time, starting in the early 2000s. My husband has used them multiple times for PT for bilateral knees, shoulders, his R elbow and hand injuries that he suffered as a police officer. Now that he is retired, we are planning for his next surgery (lol) and his PT will be done there as well. Personally, I have had multiple injuries that I needed rehab for (shoulders, knees, hip) over the years. I just hurt my right hip and had to rehab it for six weeks. I went from feeling very weak to feeling VERY STRONG in a very short time! I had Dr. Tori and Garrett as my primary PTs, but in observing the entire staff, I could use EVERY SINGLE PT here. Brook and Dr. Vince are impressive, and the PT assistants are as well! They print out the home exercises and they have an app they use that can even show you VIDEOS of how to do the exercises at home, in case you forget (like I did in early days). The front desk staff is kind, intelligent, and very efficient! I can check-in online and pay my copays before I even get there so I just walk in and sit and wait to be called by my PT. I give FOOTHILLS PT in South Chandler 10 out of 5 stars, and cannot recommend them enough. They have a combination of care, professionalism, and efficiency that is almost unheard of today. I highly recommend them for all your PT needs!

In June of 2017, I began experiencing vertigo after an ear ache I had from blowing my nose. I would…read moreget dizzy when I would walk, sit, lay down, and sometimes just by looking at certain things. I had never experienced anything like this and as it wasn't every minute of the day, the spinning was daily. I found an ENT doctor who recommended and referred me to Eric at ATI. Along with medication, I began BPPV treatment at ATI. For 3 months, Eric worked with me to help make the dizziness stop. During that time, I also went through some ear testing and recommendations were made by the ear specialist, but my ENT declined the recommendations of additional ear testing and encouraged me to continue to work with Eric. By September, the vertigo seemed to subside and I was able to return to work. However, after a couple of months, the dizziness slowly returned and after dealing with it for a couple of more months, it was back in full force. So in March of 2018, I returned to my ENT doctor who again, couldn't pin point the problem and sent me back to Eric at ATI. Working with Eric, he showed he truly cared and could see my struggles with doing life. He really wanted to fix the issue and help me get back to work. There was always a temporary relief after my PT sessions, but the spinning and dizziness always came back. Sometimes it seemed it was from movement and sometimes certain sounds would cause it. After 3 or 4 months, I wasn't getting any better and was more frustrated than ever. With the medical bills stacking up, I would still continue to see Eric 3 times a week for relief but again, it was only temporary. It had been almost a year of dealing with this and by that point, I had had x-rays, an MRI, a CT Scan, Ear testing, medication, saw an allergist, the ENT, my primary doctor, a pulmonary doctor, and even a few chiropractors and nothing worked or could tell me what was wrong. Eric and I even discussed other homeopathic options but I was just too exhausted to try anything else. The financial burdens this placed on our family was so draining and I was tired of discussing the whole thing. It seemed like Eric was the only professional who really cared and who wanted to see me get better. His PT sessions provided me my only relief and working with him gave me hope that the spinning would one day stop. By this time, I would usually cry at each appointment because I was so upset I wasn't getting better like I did before. I feel like this really weighed on Eric and with his expertise and sympathy, he truly wanted to find a way to get this fixed. With my belief in God and many prayers from our church, friends, and family, God led Eric to a meeting that would change my life. From what I recall, Eric was asked to attend a business meeting or luncheon last minute with a colleague. At that event, Dr. Shawn Stevens spoke and shared his expertise in patients who deal with vertigo. Dr. Steven's is a specialty ENT doctor and one of six in the state of Arizona who specializes in Otolaryngology. Eric took the time to talk to him afterwards and share my story. Dr. Steven's said he would take my case and help figure out what was causing the spinning. Eric connected us and my first appointment was set. Dr. Steven's reviewed my records and immediately saw that I was recommended for additional ear testing. He believed this would show the problem and he immediately knew that this was the cause. I also had to have another MRI along with the new ear tests and after those, Dr. Steven's was able to determine that I was suffering from a Perilymph Fistula in my middle ear. This is why there was temporary relief when I would see Eric but why it didn't go away. On August 3rd, 2018, I finally had ear surgery. Dr. Steven's was able to see that not only did I have the opening (fistula) in my middle ear, but I had also damaged the stape area from blowing my nose that day back in June of 2017. He was able to repair both area's that day and by the next day, the vertigo, spinning, and dizziness was gone for good. I have been vertigo free ever since! As I've shared this story with so many, I always give God the glory because he led me to Eric at ATI and if it wasn't for Eric, I might still be suffering from this issue. Eric is my hero and I will never forget how much he cared and how he found Dr. Steven's for me. Thank you, ATI and God bless you all.

Doing what is right should not be complicated…read more My in-clinic experience at ATI was fine--the physical therapy itself met expectations. The issue is with billing and how ATI handled my account. Before scheduling, I spoke with multiple receptionists to confirm insurance coverage. They reviewed my plan, took a couple of days to verify, and then assured me--both over the phone and again at my first appointment--that I had a $0 copay. Based on that assurance, I chose ATI over another clinic where I already had an established care team. However, after my first appointment, ATI abruptly canceled my next session and later informed me that I in fact owed a $40 copay. While the amount is not significant, the principle is. I had confirmed coverage multiple times before starting treatment, and my copays have never been $40. Months later, despite my objections and attempts to resolve this, I received a collections notice. Even after calling ATI's customer service multiple times, being transferred repeatedly, and being promised follow-up, no resolution was ever provided. Instead, my account was sent to collections, negatively impacting my credit--all over a charge I was explicitly told would not exist. This is not just poor communication; it is a bait-and-switch experience that shows disregard for patients. Trust matters, especially in healthcare, and ATI failed to uphold the basic responsibility of billing patients accurately and honestly. For those in the Phoenix area, I recommend one of the many other physical therapy clinics in town. Physical therapy itself is largely the same across providers--what sets a clinic apart is how it treats its patients. Unfortunately, ATI has shown me firsthand that they do not prioritize doing right by theirs.

They have helped to pinpoint areas that need the most work and have used cupping, dry needling, massage gun, manual work, and KT tape to try to help me find relief. I may walk away bruised and battered lol but it's all helping (plus I just bruise easily)! I appreciate the fact that they work to find the root of the problem and not just try a bandaid fix.
