Everytime I have gone to DB I have been treated like family and that's what makes this place special. From playing ping pong to walking the brewery, it's always a good time. Beer is great. Space is great. Service is meh... look I realize I'm at a brewery, and I'm not expecting 5-star restaurant service. But you might want to pay attention to your customers rather than spending your time chatting up your college bros. Pretty sure two of the four guys who "work" here just stood around yelling, eating chips and pizza. You basically need to be friends with the bartender to get a drink. Otherwise you have to interrupt "bro time." Look I get it. Local brewery. Local people. You're from here and started it with your buddies. We drove here on our way back from DC to New York City . It was 5 to 9:00pm. There was a very rude bartender who did not welcome us and said they are closed. I understand if they were going to close in 5 minutes but he didn't have to be extremely rude. We bought 2 bottles of Tal Uno to go, and kindly asked if he could open the bottles for us. Again, he literally screamed on us. He didn't give me his name, but I will try to describe him. Blond man at his late 20s, chubby with slightly long blond hair. Great environment to hang with friends, family, pups and kids. The indoor space is limited but it's awesome on a nice day to enjoy your brews on the outside patio. Good beers just wish there was more of a variety. I've been here a few times and they used to have food trucks or pop up restaurants, but now they are serving pizzas which are delicious. read more

Great brewery and very friendly staff! I celebrated my 30th birthday here and they were very accommodating! Allowed us to use the space downstairs, set us up with tables, chairs and the ping pong table. Spot is a little bit hard to find at night, as it's tucked away. Definitely a must try! read more

This place is hard to find. I know construction is on-going, but add in that I am never in this area of Baltimore for really any reason and it seems like a feat to arrive. I like the inside of the space, it's neat how it's focused around the smoke stack. The beers are good and sought after, although I'm not a huge fan of most of the styles released so far, but I can't fault them on it. I feel like they make a lot of IPAs so I'm holding out for more goses and darker stuff. Service is ok. read more

It's always a bit tricky reviewing breweries since some people just prefer specific type of beers. As someone who enjoys mostly IPAs, Diamondback hit the spot. They have a cool space, good beer, and even decent pizza. They have a really cool outdoor area. The only downside (as far as I can tell) is that parking can be tricky? I'm not familiar with the area so not sure if there are more lots I just don't know about. read more

WOW! The beer here is worth going out of your way for. I'm a big fan of the hazy, fruity selection of beers they have had on tap this summer. The pizza - especially the pesto Pizza - is unbelievable. And then you can enjoy the beer and pizza out under the twinkle lights on a beautiful patio. Great date spot! read more

Had a great time celebrating my friend's birthday! It's a big difficult to find because it's tucked between all the buildings but it's worth it once you do. Diamondback Brewing Company is not the easiest place to find and they don't have a ton of indoor space but they work well with what they do have. They've done some really interesting construction around an old factory smokestack (or whatever it is) and incorporate it into the design of the serving room, giving it a fun industrial feel. Their outside area is spacious but is kind of engulfed by a mall-like apartment complex area. I think that they're going to do great in that location but it's going to cater more to those who live in the surrounding buildings / houses than individuals traveling for their beer. I think they have a little way to go with their beer but that's to be expected for a newer brewery. Their branding and decor is top-notch and has a great feel to it. Ultimately, Diamondback Brewing has a ton of potential and I feel that everyone associated with it knows that its stock is only going to rise as they continue to find the ground under their feet. Great brewery to visit in the Locust point neighborhood at McHenry Row. Nice atmosphere in the brewery and very nice outdoor area. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Great bar bites including fresh made pizzas and pretzels and some good charcuterie plates as well. The brewers here are producing some really great Ales and lagers. Always look forward to our next trip back to this wonderful brewery. read more

I had been wanting to visit Diamondback for months now and I'm glad I finally did! Although the location can be hard to find if you're not familiar with the area, we didn't have too much trouble finding it. The beer was great! We tried Green Machine, Svetlana, and Leg Day. These guys did a great job with the space, and I especially love the abundance of outdoor seating that tends to get a good amount of shade on a hot day. We stumbled upon Diamondback Brewing Company during a day trip to Baltimore. This business was a chill establishment. The beers were okay. We tried all of the beers beings there was only about 6 on the menu. The dark beers were not good. I really liked the green machine though! We also got a cheese tray and I found it weird that they just handed you cheese that was still wrapped from the grocery store. The brewery is nice, but I would say it leaves more to be desired. read more

Worst service at a brewery that I have ever experienced. As tables emptied, no one was paying any attention to clear them so patrons could be seated. After an hour and 15 minutes, I walked back up to the host to get an update. The host then made me stand and wait while he finished his side conversation before helping me. When I finally got an update, they gave me an attitude as-if they didn't care whether or not we sat down. They insisted there were still 5 parties in front of us even though we saw the 2 groups in front of us sit down 30 minutes prior. We checked in at 6:30pm and never received a call for a table before their 10pm close. Will never be back. 0 stars. read more

Definitely my favorite brewery in Baltimore City. This place is a hidden gem (literally, nobody can find it when we meet up here) in Locust Point. I've been very satisfied with their takes on German style beers, sours, and IPAs. The brewery space is modern, clean, and spacious. This place is great for checking out some good local beers and hanging out with friends. They have an indoor and outdoor space and just sell food after 5pm. They are also dog friendly, but when my dog spilled some water out of his bowl they did not seem too pleased. Other than that, this place has potential to be a super cool hang out spot. It is slightly confusing on how to find the place, but if you walk behind Harris Teeter by the parking garage you'll find signs amongst the construction that will lead you right to the place ! read more

Seemed like a good brewery, had "tight compadre" Pilsner very good. Made it in at 8:20, wouldn't make a pizza since they closed at 9- - and they weren't interested and n making something fast. First of all, it was difficult to find using our GPS. Then we weren't sure where to park. Once we actually found it, the place was so crowded and noisy that there was nowhere to sit. There were people sitting at the bar drinking water. No one greeted us, and they only had IPAs on the menu, which was a problem because I prefer stouts and porters, or at least something not hoppy. I realize that maybe in the summer people want something light, but there was nothing there I would want to drink. We left without trying anything. My friends have all raved about the place, but I'm not sure I will be back. read more

This is definitely my new Baltimore hangout when I'm in town! The beer and ambiance are great, a wonderful addition to the Baltimore beer scene. The owners work the bar and are super friendly (and super cute!). There happy to take a break from their work to chat about the beer or show you around the brewery! It's dog and kid friendly with games, including foosball and corn toss. They always have free pretzels but also partner with local restaurants who come in to serve something more substantial.
