A neat little find - but man, did we have a hard time finding it! If driving, be sure to park in the garage and walk the rest of the way. There wasn't street parking that we could find so I'm pretty sure we ended up parking in a no-parking zone for our visit. The outdoor area was great with comfy seating. We opted for the bar seats in doors to sample the beers. I loved the variety of sized you could get - and they had a great selection on tap! I visited Diamondback for a friends birthday and had a great time there! We sat outside and got to enjoy their patio area which was really comfortable, and dog friendly! I ordered a soppressata pizza to share and got two of their beers- the Mango Ostend Sunday's, and Little Pools of Light. The pizza was pretty greasy but I dabbed a little off and really enjoyed it. I loved the crust especially, very crispy and really tasted like a wood fired pizza. There was a lot of great flavor! The beers I had were also good. I didn't love the Mango Ostend only because I felt it was a little hoppier than I had expected. It was still a good beer, it just wasn't for me personally at that moment! It was hot and humid haha. The little pools of light is a sour and I loved it! It also has a higher ABV which I feel you don't always get from a sour, so I thought that was great too! I love checking out random breweries, and Diamondback did not disappoint! Finding it with GPS was a little confusing, I'm still not sure where we were supposed to park (I believe we ended up out back). There is a lot of outdoor seating, as well as a nice bar area and more tables inside. I was sad to find out they don't do tastings, as that is the fun of going to different breweries, to try all the beers without getting inebriated on a weekday. I actually really liked the beer I did try, and went home with a 4 pack. They serve pizza, which was pretty good, though we both agreed there was some sort of tangy aftertaste to the crust. The sauce was a bit spicy, which we enjoyed, but fair warning to those that are not spice lovers. We definitely enjoyed our time here and if we're ever in the area again we'd be happy to grab a couple more beers. read more

I'm seriously loving all the vibes and activity these guys are bringing to things on this side of town. Since these guys opened up DBC a bit ago, they have really come into their own with some amazing beers and collabs with other local businesses. I recently checked DBC out after not being there for a while and had no idea the outdoor area had been expanded so much and it really looks like the chill location it was always meant to be. There are a few different beers I am liking right now, but while I'm not a huge IPA fan. DBC makes some of the only ones I like as they are not TOO heavy, and most have a reason behind the hops and different flavors and notes the brews bring to the table. I would recommend head out on a night when you want to hang out, and if it's colder just bundle up because you will more than likely want to sit outside and drink under the stars. read more

I like this place. It's small, it's hidden, there's no food, and a limited number of beers. Yet I like the vibe! I like the outdoor seating! I like the prices. I like the potential (it's only been open 2 wks). And I could definitely see myself coming back to try something new. Prices are good at $5 a glass or $10 for a flight of 4 small glasses. They even sell to go cans at $10. There are plenty of stools at the bar, along the window and one large high top table in the center. Oh and there's seating outside. During this visit I went with the 3:30 Amber. I'm not a huge beer buff, but I know I like Corona, Heineken, and Fat Tire. Based on that the owner (who was also w bartending) gave me a couple of suggestions and I'm glad I went with this one. We'll see what I try next time read more

Move over Gatorade, this is the new thirst quencher! This is probably one of my favorite breweries in Baltimore. I'm quite the IPA fan and The Green Machine has to be my favorite here and probably one of the best I've had. They also make some pretty great pizza here so I recommend giving it a shot! I could easily spend hours in this place trying out the beer and gaining some wonderful weight from their pizza. I wouldn't even be mad at myself. Due to COVID, the tables are spaced out which allows for limited seating. The staff is awesome and really friendly. 20/10 I would recommend this place to any beer lover out there! read more

I stopped by here a number of Saturdays ago with my wife. We happened to be looking for a brewery in the area and found Diamondback Brewing on Yelp. Finding the place wasn't as easy as we had anticipated as it is set back a bit from the road but following the location in the Yelp app eventually got us to our location (hint: look for the giant smokestack). Diamondback Brewing has both indoor and outdoor seating with the outdoor seating having string lights above them. Even though it looked nice, it was cold on the day that we were there and so we opted for the indoor seating. Boy was the inside packed which we later found out was due to a couple of large parties. Even so we were able to find a spot along a back bar to hang out until some of those large parties dispersed. At Diamondback Brewing depending on the drink you have the choice of ordering either an 8 oz or 16 oz beer or some of the higher alcohol content only come in 10 ozs. Since we were planning on being there for a little bit I went with a 16 oz Green Machine and a 10 oz Leg Day. The Green Machine was a house IPA with Citra and Ella hops with a touch go wheat. Meanwhile the leg day was a monster of a beer being a Belgian quad and clocking in at 11.2% alcohol. Out of the two I enjoyed the Green Machine some more as I loved how the citra hops came through. What did surprise me about the leg day was that it doesn't taste too alocholy for being such a big beer. After I was done with those I looked at the menu and decided to get one more. It was the Archduke which intrigued me as it had Vienna Malta along with a huell melon. Do you know what a huell melon is? I know I didn't and had to google it. In any case the beer itself was pretty good and while I wasn't sad that I had ordered it, I don't know that I got exactly what I was expecting. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While a little difficult to find, Diamondback Brewing had some good and interesting brews. read more

The outdoor space caught my eye and while we didn't get to sit out there because of weather, I think this would make it completely worth it to hang out and have a few beers outside. Food: Two beers: the archduke and factory downtown - both alright Two pizzas: margarita and soppressata - tbh wouldn't get again Ordering/ Service: Ordered and paid on our phone - aside from dropping off the food we were left alone which I don't mind. It was pretty quiet on a Friday evening around 8pm which was exactly what I was looking for! I'm not sure if we missed signs somewhere, but the spot is kind of hidden & tucked away between some buildings. Overall, the beer & pizza were both really good. The service was good. Decided to check this place out one night. I was hesitant because I assumed that it would be packed to the brim with people. To my surprise it wasn't. Locating this place was a little challenging at first. It is tucked away behind the Harris Teeter shopping center in Fed Hill. I am still not sure where you park. We just parked at the Harris Teeter and walked over. The brewery itself is beautiful as there is a smoke stack running right into the tasting room. Really cool feature to center your bar around. From the tasting room you can look down into the brewing area. The real reason we go there, the beer. When I was there, they only had 3 beers on tap. The Green Machine, the Black Gose and the Blonde with El Dorado. The Green Machine is great. Really good take on the NE Style IPA. I could drink that all day. Little sweet, but still delicious nonetheless. The Blonde with El Dorado was OK. It didn't stand out to me. The black gose was good. It had a great coffee taste with a hint of tartness to it. Overall, great experience here and I look forward to their future canned releases. read more

I went in March so unfortunately could not take advantage of their awesome patio/outdoor space. The pizzas are nice addition to what is otherwise a pretty standard brewery. The beer is adequate, but I definitely think there are more memorable brews for cheaper elsewhere in the city. Still, if you're in the area, you should swing by. read more

Great beers and friendly staff. No flights but the half pints are perfect way to taste a few beers. Beer is topnotch but not a good experience today. Was supposed to be Buck a Shuck oysters for Black Friday. The oyster servers said they hadn't been told about buck a shuck. Wanted 2 dollare per oyster. The owner at Diamondback said this was the third time they'd had an issue with Urban Oyster. I thought, then why are they back at your brewery, but did not want to get into a scene so just let it go. I asked the oyster servers if they had gotten an answer from their owners about the disconnect as we were leaving. They said all fixed now but we had been there for 2 hours and we had to leave. Nobody bothered to tell us the issue had been fixed before we left. There were folks paying 2 bucks with no hesitation but not me. Lesson learned I guess. I do love their beer, but felt kind of used because we made a special effort to be there because of the Buck a Shuck - or so we thought. read more

All the reviews that say this place is difficult to find are correct! We ended up paying an extra couple bucks in our Uber because of it. There should be a sign at the top of the courtyard by the parking lot that's very noticeable (could be one, but didn't see it). We went on a Saturday night, getting there around 8. It was packed and full of sports fans watching TV being over excited about the game. I don't go to craft breweries for the sports bar feel. That's what Buffalo Wild Wings is for...And there were others not happy about it, either. Being much more aggressive and rude yelling back at the people cheering. The beers were OK. Again: FLIGHTS! C'mon, that should be an option. Yes, they have half pours, and that's fine. But not every type is available to try that way. And we got the last pizza of the day. What? It was just so busy that day, they ran out of dough? The pizza was good, the service was quick. Our bartender was very nice! I'd love to go back another time and give the beer another try. read more

Love this brewery. Been coming here since they have opened up. Never wrote a review, however I am now as they have opened up a kitchen and serve food. They have always had food trucks of some sort but this helps. Menu offers a few apps and a few pizzas with their great beers. They have a selection of 8-10 beers at a time. Atmosphere is a great inside and out. Typically have games outside activities and live music. Great for families. Reasonably priced for craft beers. read more

Very Cool spot especially in temperate weather where you can sit outside and listen to a live band. Bring your dog on the large outdoor patio. Service is good -- I don't fault them during the pandemic: you order your drinks and food up front and they bring it to you. No table service (follow the arrows to the line - confusing at first but you'll get it). The beer is tasty but they usually only have about 6 on tap. And then pizza - which is pretty good but ours was burnt black on the bottom on one side. I still recommend this place. What a great little brewery! No bells and whistles, just really great beer. At this time of year, it was mostly IPAs, all of which were similar, but quite tasty. The food menu is charcuterie, so only baguettes, cheese and meat. But man, it looked yummy! Difficult to find on your first visit, but tucked away behind the Banner Building, DBC is cranking out solid beer. Highly recommend grabbing the DQ'd while available. Awesome place that is dog and kid friendly. Want to give the SO a break from the kid(s) and/or dog? Head to Diamond Back. The tap room can get a little crowded and there is no kitchen. With that said they have a nice outdoor seating area- weather permitting, and have food trucks out front on occasion. In the course of becoming a regular here, I neglected to write a review. This place is nowhere near my house (I live closer to basically every brewery in Baltimore), but I make a point to stop here every week because what these folks are doing is "best of Baltimore" status. First and foremost, the beers: on the hop side, they are using new aromatic hops and making dry, often hazy, fruit forward pales and IPAs. While knocking it out of the park with these trendier styles, they also consistently have beers on tap showcasing grain, structure and balance. Perhaps most impressively, over the last year they have stepped up their lager game and made sure to have low gravity options on draft to balance against their (greater than) 7% offerings. I'm really impressed by the beers they are making, and I continue to find new and interesting hop profiles and styles. Beyond beer, these are some the kindest people I've met in the beer/service/bar industry in Baltimore. Their bartenders are excellent and typically handle large crowds well, and are each great for conversation when things are slow. The space is beautiful with a wonderful patio area, and it is a rare place where I can have a beer in the afternoon (on some days) and get work done. Soon they'll be moving to a food menu , and based on their current charcuterie program, I'm sure the pizzas will be excellent! Check out Foam Fridays! read more

A nice, Modern taproom in what appears to be an upcoming area with a new Residential high rise next door. Inside is a little small, but they do hold events (atleast there was a birthday party while we were there). Outside has a nice area as well, but it was too cold for anyone to be outside. As a bonus, it is Dog friendly inside. The beer was pretty good, but I wish they offered Flights so I could have trialed more of their beer. They do offer Crowlers, which is a nice bonus to bring a beer home to try. As a little caveat, I am a cruise ship enthusiast and if you go to the back of the brewery, you can see the cruise ship when it is in port. read more

1st off, if you aren't from around it is a bit of a pain to find. Ask a neighborhood local for best results. It is a really hip brewery with really solid beer and great snacks. Seems to be a pace that is always at least kinda busy, and it gives off a great vibe and energy. They don't do flights, which makes sense if you visit - it would likely back up bar service and make for a worse experience. Staff, while busy, are very cool. Great service. While no flights, they do pour 12 ounce offerings, so I ripped my way through 4 very tasty brewskis. Really good stuff with some personality. The real highlight of the visit was the "build your own charcuterie." Fantastic local components that really hit the spot on a hot day and went great with the beers. Fun spot that I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Charm City. Drink local! Pro tip: Eat at Locust Point Steamers across the street. read more

A heads up that construction at this site makes them a little tricky to find: use the driveway on the right side of the building, look for the tall brick stack, and follow the walkway back toward it to the brewery. read more

I was in Baltimore for a conference and Diamondback was open on my Sunday arrival day until 6pm as of this review. My uber driver got me there and I followed a big sign that pointed me to the brewery. Very cool vibe and dog friendly. All the dogs were super friendly as were their owners. I ordered the vegas IPA and it was delicious and more like a NEIPA imho. I next tried the Belgian and it was fabulous. The bartender was very friendly and gave me a sample of their lager. I'm not a fan of lagers but this one was fabulous. If time permitted, I would have ordered the lager. I also sampled their signature IPA and it too was great. Bottom line is that the brewers at diamondback know what they are doing. Definitely worth the trip and will go back on my next visit to Baltimore read more

I visited Diamondback near closing time on a Friday night, so that may be why I didn't have the most enjoyable experience. Overall, the atmosphere was pretty laid back. They have plenty of tables to socialize at and a fooseball table if you're looking for something to play with friends. I wasn't too impressed with their beer selection. I tried samples of their Omar pale ale, their Leg Day Quad, and their Green Machine IPA. I'm a huge fan of IPAs, but I found this one to be too hoppy and not very flavorful. The Quad is very, very strong and it was the first time I've ever tried this kind of brew. It reminded me of a double or triple IPA (It has a very high ABV %). Maybe I just showed up at a bad time, but I wasn't too impressed with Diamondback. The coolest part of the whole thing was getting to see their actual brewery on the bottom floor. read more

Don't come to the door and be mean and yell that you're trying to get her out. A great Baltimore spot! It can be hard to find because it is tucked away in Locust Point. The atmosphere is great, especially the outdoor area when it's nice out. Beers are good, especially if you like IPA's, and the pizzas are delicious although overpriced. I do wish they did beer flights so you could taste all they have to offer. read more

Despite a crazy thunderstorm and getting lost a handful of times, we finally made our way to Diamondback. It was pretty busy inside, but after standing for 5ish minutes, we snagged a couple of seats at the bar. I tasted everything they had on their menu, which was only like 4-5 different types of beer. I knew they had recently released their Hop Broth and when I asked if it was possible to sample it, the beer tender pulled out a can and poured me some. For a double IPA, it was certainly delicious and smooth. I was surprised. He even gave a can to take home with me. I was also impressed with how efficient the service was considering the size of the crowd. I never waited too long for another beer or my bill. read more
