They were able to fit me in immediately on a whim which I was grateful for! The location is a little bit off from what's listed. I followed Google maps and it brought me to some dead end industrial area. The shop is small but there is plenty of parking in the front. The technicians were really nice and seemed super friendly with the other patrons in the shop. I gathered that they have consistent regulars. I got an acrylic full set and requested a design on each nail. I showed example photos and she spent a long time talking to me about what I wanted. I basically asked for swirly neon lines and gave her free rein. I got a lot of compliments on my nails and they lasted a full two weeks before starting to chip. I've never been the type to get a fill; I always just peel the whole things off. These peeled off super clean. They didn't break apart and I wasn't left with random bits of acrylic on my nails. I would definitely return if in the area.

This review is only for my nails and the service I received. My bridal party and I had an appointment late afternoon to get our nails done for my wedding. We were a bit uncertain just turning into the little strip it was located in. I got a mani and a pedi while everyone else just did a mani. My nail tech was friendly and chatted with me throughout both the mani and pedi. I think she was gentle enough while cleaning my feet. I warned her that my cuticles are prone to bleeding because the past manicures I've gotten, I've had a few fingers bleed. She was able to do it without any bleeding (woohoo!). She spent time working on my nail design. Diana also helped pull some pearls or stones to use. I wish I got the name of my nail tech- she was able to speak to me in english. A month later, most of them lasted other than the pearls/stones on my left middle and ring finger (but at least it held up for the wedding haha). I believe only certain nail techs do designs so you will have to mention it up front to them when making an appointment.

I hadn't been to Diamond Nails in almost a year and I was worried that it wasn't there or had changed but it was as awesome as always. My favorite girl Susan was still there and did a beautiful job like always. Tracie also did a great pedicure. I will keep going back as this will now go back to being my regular nail salon.

I made a reservation and had no issue booking a few days in advance for a Friday afternoon appt! It was packed when I got there and luckily I was in no rush so they apologized and sat me in the pedicure chairs and let me message/soak my feet in. Took me about 30 min from my appt time to be seen cus of how packed it was and other ppl being late for their appts PARKING: beware the 2 lots are small and compact car only basically but there's street parking MANI: Wanted a French mani (which I've never done before) for vacation and so they cut my cuticles ($8) and proceeded to paint. The initial lady I had was so sweet and advocated for me to do a fake nail once I realized she was simply painting on the white tip (even tho my nails aren't as long as the nails I showed her in the Pinterest picture I wanted). So then I was put in Tracy's hands and OH MY GOD. She was so patient w me and did exactly what I wanted. She only put a fake tip on and trimmed it to how I wanted and so only my nail bed was real then she did her magic. This was $58 PEDI: typical gel pedi for me which adds $10. No complaints. I opted for the basic spa pedicure which was $25. Totaled $35 PAYMENT - cash preferred. There's a 5% transaction for card use. They also do Venmo. Tips are cash only Would definitely come here again for my needs. Although it took 3 hours for all my nails, so be more mindful if in a time crunch. Super sweet staff!!!

Went today to get my babies birthday nails done with Diana. She is amazing, some will think she is like a superwoman because of what she can do on nails I like to think of her as an amazing artist ‍ with an understanding of what she can actually do. Let me tell you she never seizes to amaze me but I try to be very considerate of what I ask of her. So today my daughter wanted Leonardo (ninja turtle nails) and bam look at this! Was referred to this salon as my sister was a loyal client to Diana. I came for a simple French Tip and of course, Diana did an amazing job! I'm extremely picky as I know what I like and can be particular when manicurists don't get the details right. I'm a perfectionist and I'm so glad Diana is too! She cleaned my cuticles well, got all the edges and asked my opinion before moving on with the rest of my nails. I appreciated that because other places I've been do as they please and I have to stop them or end up not liking it. Super kind and sociable. She worked quickly while still ensuring quality. She chose the perfect nude for my skin tone. It looks so natural and when it grew out, you couldn't really tell at all! Had these on for about 3 1/2 weeks and they were still in tact. Thank you! Although I don't get my nails done often, I'll be coming back whenever I do.

Took my cousin to get a gel manicure with French tips. They charge $45 dollars ($5 more then my aunt paid for an acrylic fill) and then less then 5 days later the polish all started to peel and left. Not just wear away or chip but completely peel off in large pieces. Update- when my aunt took my niece back in the essentially laughed at then and dismissed them. Overpriced, rude, poor quality and over all an experience we will not be ever returning too.

I hate having to write this review because Ive had so many great times here, but i believe that same familiarity made the customer service go out the window. I called to check if they had availability for a mani/pedi. (Usually I do a full set) the mom picked up & said they could take me right away. As I arrive, theres noone available to do a pedicure so we just get started with the gel mani. The girl that did my nails (I will not name her because she did my nails before & she was great) seemed to be rushed & annoyed. Kept tugging at my hands & twisting my fingers like they weren't attached. As I noticed her stress, I said it was fine to do the pedicure at a different time. Rushed me to pick the color, so she could put them away. She was being so aggressive with her moves, she ended up breaking the glass container with the blue liquid, she pulled the lid up & it cracked once, & then shattered. Came back, finished my nails. & proceeds to put super hot lotion on both hands. They always ask if things are the right temperature, & IDK if I just pissed her off? Cause that lotion was HOT. As i made it clear my hands were burning she wiped it with a towel. Apologized a bunch of times. Yea thank you. I head to pay, the mom who i believe is the owner asks me how i will be paying, I let her know I wish to use Zelle (like I have before, a ton of times) and she responds, way louder than it needed to be, "Zelle?! zelle?! I dont have zelle". I was raised to respect my elders so i smiled & explained I had used it here before, I pulled up my records & show i had zelled "Jennifer Huynh" , I turn to Diana (oh Diana) and she says "oh thats my sister " & turned back to her seat. (not sure what that was supposed to mean to me?... So I just shut up & let them charge me their 5% card fee. Made sure to tell me NEXT TIME, bring cash. Lol yea... ok. I didn't even bother bringing up the lotion situation. All the times I have been here, Diana only acknowledged me, forget as a customer, but as a ... person? Literally Once. And it was because she was the one doing my nails. Any other time she will look at you like you are unworthy of being in her presence lol . And im sorry girl, idc how talented you are, NOONE is too important to be KIND. Specially if the establishment belongs to your family, get some customer service training in your system. The rest of the girls have been good, I have gotten cut before, but they were sweet & apologetic. & I always tipped them well (even when I bled) With that said, there will be no next time. Time to get my nails done is something I treasure, & to be treated like I am bothering.. or imposing. Ill take my money where it's appreciated. Ps. Test your lotion on your skin first, Next time. :)

The manicurist dug too deep and I had multiple cuts on most fingernails. They even had to put a special powder to stop the bleeding. The worst part was it got infected and it took almost a week to heal. Super painful. I get gel manicures all the time, but I've never had someone cut me up this bad. I don't like to post negative reviews, but I really do not recommend this place.

Absolutely the best nail salon in Fullerton. In the past I've jumped from one salon to the other because there was always something that didn't feel right. That was until we found this salon. We've been coming here for 2 years and have always been treated well. Yes it could use a refurbishment but there isn't much you can do about that. Tracy and Susan are my favorite technicians and are always busy. Make sure you make an appointment, you won't be disappointed.

Overall had a good experience 5pm booking, they were running a lil late but I got sat down quickly. I didn't mind the wait. Pros: I thought the atmosphere was really great! The most comradarie between workers I've seen, lots joking and not bitching in vietnamese which happens at many salons. I bite my nails, but they did an amazing job with mt acrylics making them look ultra natural. Billy was meticulous, going over again and again with the filing and sanding, honestly the base work is probably the best I've ever gotten. Cons: billy isn't the nail art expert. I had pretty lax ideas for what I wanted and overall I am happy with my nails. It didn't blow me away, but I wasn't fully expecting it too or asked specifically for more technical nail art. Conclusion: enjoyed the whole experience, loved the people, really impressed with how the base nail work was done, nail art left little impression but passable. Would recommend to my friends. read more

Your search stops here! Seriously stop searching nail salons and call and make an appointment now. The ladies here are all very sweet and attentive. They are all amazing at their jobs, including Jen, the woman that runs the place. Diana is AMAZING if you want intricate, hand drawn designs. Everyone in this salon can do designs and trendy styles as well. They can do anything and if they don't have a product you want, they will order it so they can do your nails the way you want. Their motto is "we want everyone to leave happy" and they really do work hard to make their customers happy! I definitely found my new nail salon. read more

This is by far the best nail salon I've ever been to. We were greeted with mimosas, cheese and crackers and fruit and gifted with these amazing lavender sugar scrubs. I've been at this nail place a couple times now and I love it they do such an amazing job. The Whole stuff is amazing and nice and I love to check in with you and suggest new ideas for your nails or your pedicure's, I've been seeing Kim for a few times today I saw a new person and I got to know her she used to be a dentist but enjoys this job more and I can definitely see it and she did great on my nails. I ended up doing their detox pedicure and I felt amazing after. I mainly decided to do this because my feet kept swelling up (only my feet not my ankles) and I figured it was a mix of impurities and lack of flow going through my feet. After I was done, my feet were back to normal and have been ever since. Will for sure come back here, look forward to doing a manicure next! read more

This morning cute little hole in the wall spot has a nice clean grey with what looked like birds perched on trees. With spa chairs for pedicures and a good amount of little stations to get manicures. I called in for an appointment and they were really nice to reminder me to arrive early. I missed my manicure appointment at another place this morning cuz I was late. I requested nail art and scheduled me with Kim, who does 3rd nail art, which I didn't even know existed! I arrived 10 mins before my appointment and Kim started my full set promptly at my appointment time. I was a little hot in my seat as she nicked me a few times with the tool. But I was extremely pleased with her patience in the many colors and the steady hand in making a perfect circle twice! I will be coming back again soon! Wanted to try a new nails place closer to my work so chose to go here because the reviews seemed to be mostly positive. I got dip and a pedicure. They had a very small selection of colors for dip so I was already ify, but then the lady doing my pedicure cut my toenail so short that I started bleeding. Already knew I wasn't coming back before I was even finished but the icing on the cake was them charging an additional $5 to take my dip off. To top it all off, it's been two days and my dip already chipped which, by the way, has NEVER happened to me anywhere else I've gone. Over all, wouldn't recommend. read more

I've come here twice and always had a stellar experience. Everyone is super friendly and customer service is A1. The business is always clean plus they screen regularly for covid and politely remind customers to wear their masks. Received the best foot massages from Susan that I've had in my life. They do hand drawn nail designs and Diana's work is amazingly beautiful and creative. Only downside is they all do such an awesome job you will get extras every time but they make it absolutely worth it read more

I've been going to diamond nails for years now, this is the first time I had Diana on my nails & I'm hooked. I usually don't book apts weeks prior. I'll do it the day before but for Diana I did. She cares about her clients nails, she works fast & does a great ob. I am new to California and they were super efficient. I sent a message and within minutes I got a reply. Everyone there was super friendly and it was honestly a great time/experience. They were super organized, took my temperature and gave me hand sanitizer before getting seated. I absolutely love the color and shape of my nails. I highly highly recommend.! I'm never disappointed leaving diamond nails!!! I go every two weeks with Diana and my nails have gotten so much longer and stronger. I get gel designs with strengthening gel and LOVE it. Diana also makes sure to fully clean my cuticles which makes me so happy my nails always feel on point. Everyone here is so sweet and will make sure you're 100% satisfied before you leave. I arrived at 4:30 PM on Thursday - I waited for 2.5 hours. It was incredibly long and boring - there was a line with 10-15 people waiting. GO EARLY. $46 nails. The male cut my nails and shaped them then a young cute Asian girl painted and put the rhinestones. She was efficient and precise. The place i usually go to does great work, but my natural nails have grown out and the acrylics have been lifting too fast, so I decided to check out Diamond Nails... And I LOVE what they did. They were super friendly, paid incredible attention to the detail of what I wanted, and Diana knows just by looking at a color, what number it is. If I could give this place zero stars, I would! This place would have gotten two stars if Jenifer (the lady who responds on their yelp account) wasn't so rude. I booked an appointment yesterday (8/14) through their yelp account for a gel manicure today (8/15). Jenifer booked me an appointment at 1 pm and said it would be with her sister Diana. The confirmation text to my phone said to get their 5-10 mins early and I got there at 12:55. When I walk in I noticed that counter and where you pay is in the back, not in the front (weird). Anyways, I wasn't sure where to go and the techs working on other ladies nails ask what I was here for. I tell them my name and I have an appointment for 1 pm for a gel manicure. Then they yell out for someone to come from the back. Someone comes out and asks what I'm here for. Again I state my name and that I have an appointment for 1 pm for a gel manicure. The lady looks confused and another lady comes out and says what are you here for. As if my appointment was never booked. Then they say someone can help me and sit me down. Whatever, I don't care who did my nails as this is my first time there. Two more girls come in, who I can tell are regulars there and say they have an appointment. One of the nail techs, magically pull out this clipboard and are like, "oh yeah we have you here for an appointment." Didn't do that for me... I guess I ended up getting a different nail tech, Lisa, instead of Diana. I didn't know that, as I didn't ask. I didn't find out until half through my service when Lisa asked me name and then told me hers. That was the first thing that was annoying. Second, Lisa (my nail tech) was just not good at filing nails. I told her I wanted my nails cut short and to be filed square with rounded edges. She filed my nails and didn't even round the edges. Then I asked her if she could please round the edges more. She did that and when I looked at them, my nails were all uneven, rough, and jagged. So then I ask her to finally just round my entire nail because she didn't know what she was doing and I didn't want my nails to get caught on clothes because they weren't even or be ruff. I could have filed my nails better myself. Then when she was painting my nails, she kept getting polish all over my skin. I could tell because she kept using a brush and acetone to remove the polish. She tried to clean it, but I could still see it after. See picture... Lisa was really nice, but terrible at doing nails. What really did this nail salon in and made sure I WOULD NEVER COME BACK, is the way the Jenifer responded to messages through yelp. She asked if I would vote the salon as the best nail salon in the OC and I responded saying no I would not and that I would not be coming back. She said she's sorry that I had a bad experience there, but that the manager was in the back I didn't check in with the manager... I tried to tell Jenifer why I felt why I wouldn't come back and before I could finish what I was saying, she started responding saying it was my fault that I let a different nail tech do my nails and not her sister. Then proceeded to tell me again it was my fault because I didn't check in with the manager, who was eating in the back, and didn't come out. So no one else knew about appointments except for the manager, so that's why I didn't get Diana and instead got Lisa. So all of this is my fault and could have been prevented if I just had Diana do my nails. Um, why am I suppose to ask the lady her name and if she's the correct one to do my nails?! When I walk into the salon with an appointment, I expect a nail tech to me ready to do my nails. Not scrambling to finding someone to work on my nail, even though I saw at least several nail techs sitting around looking bored and wanting something to do. After being blamed for all of this Jenifer's messages were so rude and nasty I couldn't believe she was even talking to someone like that. Bad customer service. See pictures of messages. There are more messages I didn't even post. Instead of just apologizing again and being done with it she continued to harass me over yelp messages and then started texting me and harassing me on my phone!! CR Moral of this long, but needed review, DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!! The bad reviews are totally true and don't let all the good reviews fool you. I should have trusted my gut and not gone here when I saw a bad review and saw the rude response Jenifer gave there. Save your money to somewhere else that is better and respect you as a customer!! UPDATE!!!! 5 DAYS LATER AND SHE IS STILL RIDICULOUSLY HARASSING ME ABOUT THIS! She is trying to message me on yelp even though I blocked her and she decided to update her comment on my review. See the attached picture for the original comment she posted. I called first before going and they were able to see me right away without an appointment. I got a gel manicure and deluxe spa pedicure. The techs were Susan and Ivy. Both very sweet, soft spoken and they love to tell stories. The shop has great friendly vibes. I do recommend! Oh my nails turned out great too but you know I pay for the experience. Lol read more

I got acrylics here for the first time and it was such a pleasant experience! Ivy was my technician and she is amazing! She walked me through the process, explained to me everything she was doing, and even suggested a color to me that I ended up loving. Always asking for Ivy from now on! She's so nice! Because I liked the design so much, I made a second appointment to give another artist a try. This second appointment was with Ellen. She was sooo rough when it came down to removing the polish and cleaning and cutting the cuticles. One of my cuticles started bleeding a lot and she just used the dust to stop the bleeding but did not apologize once. I let it go. But after getting home, I noticed my cuticles and fingers were so tender and red. I decided to let time heal but it's been a week and my right thumb is still swollen and tender. It's painful to touch. I told the owner and Ellen and after some back and forth, they finally did apologize. However it left kind of a sour taste in my mouth because it just seemed like they brushed it off thinking 10 percent off the next appointment would really make up for the pain I'm having in my finger. Not sure if I will come back. The owner asked me to try another artist but how do I prevent this from happening a third time?

Alright y'all, this is a rough one for me. I have been coming here for a while and this WAS my go to place. There a few things that have gone wrong with this place but the top thing would be the owners daughter being there every day now. She is so rude, arrogant and is so damn condescending. I personally have never had an interaction with her, I avoid her at all cost but listening to her speak to customers and her own MOTHER the way that she does really shocks me. - So Diamond nails no longer accepts cash, cool (I guess) but maybe y'all should mention that to customers BEFORE they get their service. Not everyone has cash on them or has the Venmo and Zelle app. - They no longer do regular polish because of covid, allegedly. She said since they can't have people waiting there to dry their nails they no longer do regular polish. Ok, that's one way to make more money. I would believe this if they didn't have people waiting around for their TOES to dry with REGULAR polish and if they didn't allow customers to go with guests that just stand around and talk while not even getting a service. Both things mentioned above are not a big deal, just communicate with your customers better. Jennifer I believe is her name, should not be the person in charge of "customer service" there. I booked an appointment via yelp and was promptly responded and an appointment was made for the following day. Once I arrived I was sat down and had Ivy as my nail technician. Initially I chose the gel color #252 but right after saying it aloud I changed it to color #253. A few minutes after working on my nails she goes to get the color and grabbed both of them for me. I ended up choosing #252 after seeing the colors side by side. She also caught an air bubble at the end (I didn't see my hand to know it was there) and she rebuffed the nail to get it out and put another clear coat on top. The salon was full and everyone was polite but the main reason for the 5 star review is for these two actions. She could have simply brought the shade I requested but she willingly took the extra step of bringing both shades for me to decide without me asking. She also could have let me walk out with a small bubble in the polish, like I have many times before at other nail salons, but she instead she spent the extra 2 minutes to fix it. Thank you Kim! This is my new favorite nail salon. I went through so much disappointment with other salons, I began to loose hope. I found Diamond Nail Spa salon through yelp and called them to make an appointment. So welcoming! Their salon is very nice and clean inside. I love this place and felt pampered. Everyone was so nice; specially Kim, she is extremely nice! Kim did my nails and she did an AMAZING job. She is so patient, sweet and accommodating. She gave me tip with SNS dip, per her recommendation. She also helped me find the right colors and offered her opinions ( I can be super indecisive at time). She took her time with my nails and made sure I was satisfied with the length/ shape. I'm so impressed with Kim's work. I'm excited to go back to her, once I'm already for a fill. I had such a great experience at Diamond Nails! Tracy and Susan were both wonderful--so thorough and attentive with their work, which I really appreciated. The salon is clean, affordable, and has such a welcoming, comfortable vibe. They truly make you feel at home from the moment you walk in. While I was there, I noticed several phone calls coming in from what sounded like long-term clients specifically requesting their favorite nail artists--which says a lot about the quality and consistency of their service. It's also refreshing that the atmosphere isn't pretentious at all. Just a friendly, relaxed place with a great selection of nail colors to choose from. Highly recommend! read more

I've been hoping around different nail salons trying to find the right place and this is it ! Everyone is always so friendly! I tend to have a busy schedule and they all ways manage to fit me in last min . A couple ladies have done my nails and they have all done amazing jobs but I've been going the last few times with Tiffany! She is very friendly and careful to make sure every detail is perfect . I tend to show her pictures I see on Pinterest and she manages to do exactly or even better ! I recommend you try this place out and if the first is not what you expected come back and try someone else , there is a lot of people who do a great job . read more

Kim is extremely efficient, highly skilled, detail oriented, artistic and truly a talented artist. I just could go on and on all the good things about her... Five stars all the way! I love how my Mani Pedi turned out :D Diana was my specialist and she was such a sunshine to work with on an early Saturday morning! Her artwork is amazing : ) and she makes you feel very comfortable! She recommended a lil ombre finish which I wasn't sure at first but it turned out lovely~! Absolutely wonderful experience~! I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND DIAMOND NAILS! I moved here from Vegas a few months ago and stopped getting my nails done because none of the salons out here could compare - and then I found Diamond. I wish I started my search here! The salon is super cute, everyone is really friendly and Tammy is wonderful! I asked for a coffin shape and they're perfect! Plus they can make any color matte which I really like! They're very upfront about the prices (so much cheaper than Vegas BTW) so there are no surprises. I would highly recommend this place. GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE!!!!! They are amazing at what they do and definitely affordable! First time here and it definitely won't be my last. They take their time and you don't feel rushed. I got my acrylic's done and did ombré french tip (first time too) and they exceeded my expectations! They look amazing and perfect! Judy did my acrylics and she did her thang! I've been coming here since they were on the brookhurst location. I always have MANDY wax my eyebrows. She has over 20 years experience so I definitely trust her. Her daughter JENIFER, works the front desk and she has been very helpful with pricing. I usually get their organic pedicures with TINA. She really knows how to apply gel on my toes, considering that my pinky toe is so little. She's gets very close to my cuticles, which I really appreciate. Thank you so much!! read more

Hands down- the best place to come for nails. I've been coming here for some time how and I can honestly say that I've never been dissatisfied with the service. It's is clean and they are taking extra measures to make everyone feel safe during these times. Oh and if you want a bomb gel mani, hit up my girl Diana. I've been getting my nails done here for a while now. I love getting my nail art free handed here and acrylic nail art designs with acrylic colors and embellishments. The technicians really care about our nails and want them to stay healthy and strong. I trust them with my nail needs. Also, Mandy does an amazing job on my facials and my waxing. When I want to get threading done, I go with Kim. They are gentle and are not rough when working on me. read more

I love this place, they are so friendly and nice. Tiffany is a perfectionist and I love how careful she works on my nails. Also, the manager is very sweet. I asked her about the sugar scrub they use and if they sell it and she said no. I was surprised with her saying that she can get me some for free! I just had a mani/pedi done today and it was the best I've had. Best place for mani/pedi around. I guess I'll have to make the drive just to Fullerton for this from now on . Great collection of nail polish color and phenomenal service. The employees are very sweet and helpful. The pricing is reasonable for the quality. Bonus is that they accept online booking which is helpful since I can't call while at work. read more

I love this place. There's no other place like this. I always go to Kim because she does an amazing job listening to what I like. They are so accommodating and they respond to my yelp messages within seconds. Jenifer does such a great job managing the shop. She is so friendly and makes sure i get taken care of. Once you go to Diana at Diamond Nails, you'll never want to go to another salon again! She is extremely talented and professional. I have had several different designs from fall leaves, LA Dodgers, pencil and chalkboard, to French manicure. Diana always does a beautiful job and my nails last for 4+ weeks every time!! Got a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish and a spa pedi and the women are so nice, conversational, and funny. Place was filled with such a relaxing atmosphere. Love my nails and can't wait to show my friends. Definitely hope to come back soon! And I hardly like getting nails done but definitely will if these ladies are doing them xD read more
