How has this place not been shut down by the health department?! Dirty instruments, they literally cut into your skin and when you tell them it hurts, use the instrument to scratch your leg like psychos and place your bloody nail piece on your leg. I mean it was sadistic. Not to mention they decided they wouldn't do a dip with tips manicure on my daughter and refused to be corrected. I will NEVER return to this salon. I gave them 3 chances. The first time, the man in the salon did my acrylics and they were fine (nothing special). Second time I went, the lady had NO CLUE what she was doing and my nails fell apart in days. Third time I went back and asked for the man, but he wasn't able to come in but he vouched for another nail tech that'd she'd do a great job. I told him the last time I had them done by someone, they didn't turn out well and he promised me this time would be different. It wasn't. Worst acrylics I've ever gotten. They very obviously have no idea how to apply acrylic nails. They never pushed my cuticles back and ended up burning my cuticles with the rotary file so badly that I was bleeding. They filed the acrylic so thin that 1 broke less than 24hrs after getting them done just by opening my car door. When I went to get them fixed at another salon, they didn't think I had acrylic because they were so thin.some of the acrylic was super thick in the middle but thin on the sides and were very uneven. All my nails were different lengths and some were crooked. Oh and they didn't seal the nails properly so water got under a couple nails and fungus grew (green nails). While the staff was friendly they took FOREVER and the quality just isn't there. I came in for a pedicure and a rebase, it took NO JOKE close to four hours and it wasn't even done very well especially for the price. The person who did my nails kept getting up and leaving and taking care of other people and then when he came back started complaining about customers to me.... Super unprofessional and then he messed up one of my nails but he was already taking SO long that I didn't even bother to get it fixed. The tech that did my toes originally did the wrong color, then trimmed them SO short they're sore. Almost four hours and over $100+ later.... Save yourself the time and money. My $20 pedicure - listed on their menu as the Silver Pedicure totaled $50.99 when I checked out. The service started with one person and ended with another and I was told the regular pedicure is $30 plus $20 for gel and $0.99 for what I assume is using a card. I didn't have any gel on my nails to begin with so I literally got charged $30 for them to use a different product other than polish. The water was Luke warm and he cut my cuticles when using the huffing block so everything after that point stung. Fun times. read more

The absolute worst service FROM THE MANAGER. we paid $400+ to have a girls day with mani pedis and paid extra for diamond level service. Not only did Vin the MANAGER mess up a shellac pedicure that chipped that same day (with no injury or force on the toes) he also questioned me several times when I told him the tips were melting and breaking before he even laid the acrylic. He proceeded to tell me he had worked there 25+ years and he knew how to do nails. He still laid the acrylic on top of the broken tips after being told by 3 people to fix them first. OF COURSE THEY ALL BROKE BRUTALLY AND PAINFULLY IN LESS THAN 4 DAYS. when I returned to get them fixed not even a week later he told me I would have to pay full price for a new set. WHEN HE DIDNT FIX THEM THE FIRST TIME I ASKED. He then proceeded to remove the nails in an incorrect manner and rip my natural nail to the point of bleeding. Came in a for bikini wax. It was my first time in this establishment. The woman who helped me was lovely, polite and softly spoken. Can't recall her name right now. She was the best part of my experience. I came in the day before and asked how much would it be, the older gentleman who works there said $35 and up. When living in San Diego I paid $32 so I was fine with this place's pricing. The room where I was waxed was so dirty. The towels and sheets that I laid on were heavily stained as well as the walls. When checking out, I was told $55! I was waxed in my bikini area on the front and some on the back beneath my underwear line. I was definitely ripped off! My sister who lives less than 10 miles outside of NYC gets a Brazilian for $40! Definitely not returning! read more

Soooo Disappointed!!! I hadn't been in in a while, but yesterday my daughter and I decided to go for mani-pedis with the idea of spending a nice afternoon together. We called first and were told that they have availability. The experience was awful!! A lady took my 9 year old daughter and RUSHED through a very poor mani-pedi while I waited with my feet in tepid water. (See pic of my daughter's nails the morning after the manicure.) My little girl was literally terrified during the whole process. When she stated that she didn't like the color on her toes and wanted to choose another color for her fingers, the woman didn't want to allow it. I had to intervene. Then another woman rushed through my services, then left me in the chair and never came back. I had flip flops but my daughter did not, so as we were getting our things together, I asked the woman who had done my daughter's nails to get her a pair of the throw away flip flops. She appeared annoyed by the request, then took a used pair out of the basket near the drying table and tossed them to her. Then, as I was paying with credit card, she looked into my wallet and noticed I had cash and asked me to pay cash instead. When I didn't have enough cash, she basically peer-pressured me into tipping in cash!!! I wasn't even planning on tipping for such poor service. This was a complete waste of $90!!! WOW. How do they stay in business? If I could, I would give a minus rating. Worst service ever! As we walked out, my daughter said, "I never want to go back there again." No problem. read more

Worst place I've ever been in my life! I did regular pedi and gel many. The manicure was a disaster! They had to remove the gel (not totally) file and add more layers of polish. I always enjoy coming in and being pampered by the wonderful technicians. Most importantly, the facility is clean. Everything is sterilized, cleaned right after use which is something I always look for first in a nail salon. This is the first shop I've trusted to come back to since I've moved to Colorado. The salon is huge, and they have sufficient technicians that are well trained in their craft. Everyone is very friendly and they all recognized me after my first visit. UPDATE: The manager, Van, totally took care of me. Hailey re-did my shellac manicure and my nails are absolutely PERFECT and beautiful! Way to take a negative experience and turn it completely around, Diamond Nails! I will be back, for sure! PRIOR POST: I had high hopes since this place has so many great reviews on Google; however, my experience could not have been any more disappointing than it was. I called to ask about their prices for a shellac manicure (my first shellac manicure ever) and was told I could come in right at that moment to have one, so I did. I was seated at the table back in the corner of the room where employee's personal belongings were stacked all over the station next to me. I couldn't see the TV or anything else other than the corner of the salon...I nearly had my nose in the corner. The gal who did my nails was VERY young (maybe even preteen) and was very unsure of herself throughout the entire experience. She kept having another gal come over and look at my nails. At the end, the shellac polish was all over my fingertips and cuticles and they had to use a very rough file to file it off because it had already been "cured". The experience was painful and I walked away with a TERRIBLE manicure! To top it off, I had taken a screen shot of the 20% off coupon (for first-time customers) and was not allowed to use it because it "must be printed out." My intent after having my own manicure was to buy gift certificates for my co-workers so we could have a girls' outing after Christmas. Needless to say, I did not purchase anything other than my own manicure, and I will most certainly never go back to Diamond Nails again. read more

Sat in the chair for 20 minutes when someone finally came over. Began remove nail polish and stopped for a phone call, 10 minutes joined a conversation with 2 other workers. So, basically left with one foot no polish the other foot not touched. As I told them I had to leave, she sat down and said she could finish...never mind and won't be back. read more

What a horrible experience. To be fair... it wasn't all bad. The staff was very friendly, the overall place seemed fairly clean, my nail art was pretty and they had a large selection of nail polish. As for the rest, when the Lady was clipping what I assumed to be my cuticle, she clipped the side of my toenail so far down that it was excruciatingly painful and it caused me to bleed. She continues to scrape under my nail so roughly it was very painful. When I explained that it hurt and that I thought I was bleeding her only response was "yeah ". Every time after that that I said it hurt all I got was "yeah". When I noted that my toenail wasn't even and asked if it could be fixed she said yes but then didn't fix it. I am not one to cause a scene so I just said OK and left it. When it was time to pay, the guy said that unless I was using cash I had to go out back behind his store to use the drive up ATM to get cash out because he didn't want to pay the fees for a credit card. The ATM charge me $3.50 and my bank will charge me an additional $1.50. I used the fees as part of the tip. There were no signs stating cash only. It was very embarrassing to have to go out back behind their store and wait for the cars to go through before we could walk up to the ATM. Then he tried to make my daughter do a Google review right there in front of him. Both of the teenage girls I brought (my daughter and her friend) had issues as well. My daughter's nail set was very painful and her nails are not even. Her friends nails are the wrong shape, the nail art is completely different from nail to nail and they cut her finger. I walked in to have gel removed and my nails tripped/shaped, and my experience was extremely poor. To start, the process of removing gel polish (file top layer down, wrap in foil with cotton and acetone, wait 10 minutes, gently remove polish with a blunt tool) didn't protect my nails at all. She trimmed my nails down unevenly and filed them square when I asked for round. In total, the service cost $7 and I paid on a card after being asked multiple times for cash; even after I said I don't have cash, she asked...finally ran my card, and stared me down while I was filling out the slip, asked if I had left a tip (yes), and muttered what I can only assume were insults that I was unappreciative of her hard work after she saw the completed tip space. I could have done a better job by picking the polish off as it lifted since the woman barely waited 5 minutes to start removing the polish after soaking. As she's destroying my nails, she's telling me that the day prior, she filed too much on a woman the day before that she caused pain...not surprised based on the hack job I received. As I'm typing this review, I'm seeing a lot of leftover polish that I have to go take off and re-file my nails to shape them into something decent. I will never return to this salon since this is the quality of a removal service. read more

Do not go here! Went here because I wanted to move services up from Denver. I have never had a worse manicure. I made an appointment and asked if they could do ombre nails. They said yes and scheduled me. The person who did my nails said she could do the design I showed her, then said it was too hard after trying. I showed her another design that she said would be "so easy". I am shocked at how terrible my nails look. Also, she cut me and two of my fingers were bleeding even after I left. I was told that if I got dip nails versus gel the ombre would turn out better, but I have done better ombre myself at home with a makeup sponge and regular polish just by watching You Tube. I do not care if you aren't able to do a design, but do not lie and say that you can and then accept money for it. I don't know why I paid. It looks really terrible. Not even a professional job. They have three levels of pedicure..... and premium pedi is only 35$. It includes paraffin wax treatment AND hot stone massage on your tootsies! Well worth it.
