They can be rude, over-charge and their work is hit or miss…read more I paid $50 for a facial wax. When I saw that they had missed a few places, they charged me an extra $30 to fix their mistake. I have light blonde hair and they said it was hard to see my hair. I was not happy with their wax. Gel nails are done well. I can't speak to other kinds of nails. I recently requested for my gel polish to be removed and for my nails to be cut short before getting a new gel manicure. My nail was hanging over the skin of my fingertip, and I wanted it a hair shorter than my fingertip. They've done this before, so I asked for it again. This time, they said they could not go shorter because they didn't want to make me bleed. I said they wouldn't make me bleed. I asked if I could trim them myself and let them do the polishing and painting. They said no. They grew frustrated with me. I then said I understood and would like for them to take the polish off, and that I no longer wanted the gel manicure. The woman was VERY rude, huffing and puffing, acting like I was in the wrong for changing my mind about paying for a service that couldn't meet me needs. She still charged me money. I still tipped 20% as a nicety. When I looked at my nails, one hand still had some polish and she had not bothered to clip my nails to at least match my other nails. They charged me money for a poorly done job and didn't send me out looking even somewhat decent.... because I changed my mind when I realized they couldn't offer me what I needed??? I'm not impressed with how they treated me. A simple "I'm sorry, we aren't comfortable cutting your nails that short" would have sufficed, followed with basic human kindness and respect. The way they treated me really bothered me.

Unprofessional vs downright creepy…read more I called this salon and a man answered the phone, I asked if they had time for a pedicure. He said not now, come later and I said no that's OK. I'll just go somewhere else, he responds "Oh no, just give me your name come in now, We'll do it". I decided not to go because they were obviously busy and I did not want to have a "rush job" so I went to another salon near King Soopers instead, who said they had time. Long story short the gentleman repeatedly called my phone and then finally left me a voicemail calling me a liar. Need ....Proof I took a picture of the voicemail see below.

I rarely get my nails done, but I decided to treat myself for a very special occasion: a two-day…read morewedding event where I'd be showing off my new engagement ring. Unfortunately, this experience was a massive letdown and not at all worth the $80 price tag. I showed the technician a specific inspiration photo and she said she could do that, no problem. However, the result looked nothing like what I requested--it was missing 1-2 colors and the sparkle placement was completely wrong (full sparkle instead of the half-sparkle gradient I asked for). The biggest issues were the inconsistency and lack of technique: Mismatched Hands: My right hand is significantly darker and has much more blue glitter than my left hand. They look like they belong to two different manicures. Poor Execution: My left pinky (the first finger she started with) looks unprofessional and lacks any of the artistic design found on the other fingers. The rest of my left hand looks like I did it. It's clear she was "practicing" the technique on my left hand and only started to figure it out by the time she got to my right. Structural Issues: When I pointed out that the two pinkies looked completely different, I was told a fix would take too long due to the layers already applied. I sat in the chair for a very long time and still tipped well because I value the technician's time (she was very nice and has a kid to support), but I spent the entire wedding weekend hiding my hands. Instead of feeling confident and wanting to show off my recent engagement to my close friends, I felt embarrassed. I'm now stuck with uneven, messy-looking nails that I have to stare at until they grow out. I would not recommend this salon for anyone looking for detailed or consistent nail art. See attached pictures for what I asked for vs what I got. Note: it was hard to photograph the inconsistencies in pictures but you can definitely see the differences on certain fingers in the pictures. I wish I could get a refund.

Sadly, you have to do your homework to find safey and sanitation practices that are legit (and don't just *appear* to be), especially in this industry. Second, I haven't had a mani or pedi in several years after becoming more educated about the toxic chemicals that are *routinely* used in this industry. Once you learn a little, you can't unlearn it and you think differently about nail spas. Third, this salon rocked it. In my hour and a half pedi, which speaks to the attention to detail, all by itself, I observed several folks come and go, watched staff clean and disinfect not only the basin and tools, but also the seats and the headrests. Not just spraying the basin down but really scrubbing it and rinsing really well. Thank you! Small things like using no plastic to seal the tools means less for our landfill. Using hand towels and requiring every customer to wash their hands before each appointment, and staff to wash before and after - these little things add up. My pedi? It was heavenly. Yes, I splurged and it was completely worth it. Every polish and shellac polishes are all non toxic - this matters as these are going right on your nail bed. So excited to have found a clean, non toxic and high quality nail spa. Already looking forward to returning!

It isn't chipping. The whole painted area just comes off. My next appointment is on the 19th and by then, I doubt I'll have any left. For what I pay, I think it should last li her than four days.
