Definitely going to bruise. His motions were abrupt from the beginning, but got increasingly rushed and anxious. His massage was rushed and fast. Moving around the room, he was opening drawers hard and sitting down hard. By the end, I asked if he wouldn't mind slowing down as he was rubbing my next and it was making me anxious he was going so fast! I'm not an anxious person. I thought I could maybe relax the stressful massage off in the steam room, but as I mentioned above, it was off. The real ugly: The final insult to injury - 18% service charge plus gratuity. Total cost - $323 for just barely 80 minutes of a sometimes painful, ultimately stressful massage. The front desk was uninterested in my experience. I hate leaving bad reviews, but save your money massage and/or spa lovers!

I drive up from Denver to get my nails done here...that's how good they are! I grew up in Evergreen and have since moved, but every 3 weeks I find myself up here to get a dip refill. Henry is amazing! He is detail oriented -- always making sure my nails are the shape I like and bonus points for how long they last. I have grown out my nails to be pretty long and I appreciate how gentle they are with them -- it's one of the many reasons why I keep coming back. Evergreen Nails and Tanning is by far the best nail salon I've ever been to. I've been going to them for 6+ years, and I've never been disappointed. I've gone to them for numerous schools dances, and they always do exactly what you ask for. The people there are incredibly nice, and the prices are very affordable. Since I had seen their Yelp photos and thought they looked like the best salon in town, I decided to wait. I ended up waiting nearly two hours before I was finally seen. When it was my turn, I showed the guy the design I wanted. It really wasn't anything elaborate--just some stripes and polka dots but it was like 7 different colors I guess.. No gems, rhinestones, or anything I would consider overly detailed. Instead of discussing pricing upfront, I waited almost two hours only to be told that the design would cost $120. I was honestly shocked. If I had known that before waiting, I would have gone somewhere else. BUT, I couldn't because I was leaving for my trip the next morning, and every other salon was closed. When I questioned the price, I was simply told that because of the colors and designs, it would be $120. I was so overwhelmed and stressed about my trip that I started crying in the chair. Since I had no other option, I settled for a much simpler design that was incrediblyyyyy basic. Even then, I was still charged $80. To make things worse, the quality of the work did not justify the price at all. The nails were uneven, lumpy, and poorly finished. I spent the ENTIRE appointment crying, from the moment I sat down until I left. I wasn't even planning to leave a negative review because I felt bad for hardworking people and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, LESS than 24 HOURS later, while I was on my trip in Europe, one of the nails broke. Shortly after, a second one broke as well. At that point, I hadn't done anything that would reasonably explain it. I had simply packed my suitcase, gone to the airport, and taken a flight. I had to spend DAYS of my vacation walking around with bandages holding the nails in place while I searched for nail glue (which I guess doesn't exist in Europe lol). I couldn't find any, so I eventually had to buy super glue just to keep the nails attached for the rest of my trip. Between the nearly two-hour wait, not being told the price until it was finally my turn, paying $80 for a very basic set with poor workmanship, and having multiple nails break within 24 hours, this was EASILY the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. also if you're reading this far id also like to mention that, throughout the appointment, the tech repeatedly complained about how late it was getting and how long the appointment was taking. That really upset me because I had asked before waiting if they could still take me, and I was told yes. I then waited nearly two hours. If it was going to be an inconvenience or if there wasn't enough time to do the service properly, I wish they had simply told me from the beginning instead of having me wait for hours only to make me feel like i was the problem.

She seemed spot on with what I've been seeing online, so if you want someone up to date on the latest nail trends, she's your girl. I wish I had gotten her name, but I suspect she's one of the owners since she was the last one there at closing. She did a good job on my nails and they ended up lasting three weeks, which is typically the longest I can go without getting back into a salon. I got was the Cosmo which stated an additional 10 minutes of massage, and I got at most 3 minutes of massage total. I could not recommend this place less! I also agree with others about thr glowing reviews being fake, the place was DEAD the whole time I was there. And they had nothing playing so it was just sitting in silence. Save yourself the money - this was the most stressful, unpleasant salon experience I'ce ever had and I left with nothing but regrets. I genuinely would have done a better job myself and would have saved $125. These nails are so atrocious im going to have to try to salvage them myself.
