Only needed a shellac polish removal. They used the grinder and went too deep into my real nails leaving soft spots behind. When it was time to pay the price was $10. I provided $20 and was asked if I want anything back. A 100% tip? That is an insane expectation even for perfect service. read more

I am visiting from Indiana and instead of getting my nails done before I left, I decided to wait and go with my sister. Don did an amazing job on my nails. I showed him a photo and asked if he could do something close to it and he said no problem. He wasn't lying, they look amazing!!! Everyone was friendly, the salon was very clean, and the prices were great!! If you live in or visit the Lakewood, CO area, I highly recommend you visit Don at Bear Creek Nails. read more

I've been going to bear creek nails for over 10 years now... and I'll continue to go there;;; there are clean friendly and fairly priced!!!

Service wasn't friendly and they won't trim the dead skin around your fingers unless you pay for a full manicure

I live near by and wanted to like this place. This is my third time trying them because I wasn't able to get into the place I usually go to an I was limited on time. My pedicure was nice and when I went to get my dip manicure, the woman doing my nails kept pushing me to get tip nails which I really didn't want. I ended up agreeing and they came out nice but when I went to pay she charged me $75 for the manicure! I was shocked it cost that much. I would have never agreed to it if that was the case. I don't like when nail people are pushy and then on top of it it was so expensive. :( read more

I got a gel manicure and pedicure 4 days ago. Spent $113. They used a heavy duty nail file to take the old gel off barely soaking them in acetone, and completely destroying my nails, and now the manicure and pedicure is lifting and chipping. Really disappointed. Don't even want to go back there to have it fixed. I've been there before and it's never great but this was really bad read more

I thought about posting this for a while because I really do not like writing negative reviews but I feel as though I should post my experience for others to read about before deciding where to get their nails done. I have come in a couple of times and my nails have turned out decent; it really depends on who you get. But after what happened to me at my last visit, I will not be back. They were busy and my service was rushed. When I went to check out, I was told that my gel rebase would be $38. When I asked why my price was so much more than the posted price of $25, I was told that it was because 2 of my nails needed to be fixed. I have included a picture of the 2 nails that were "fixed". There was no extra tip applied, just the acrylic powder. That is not any extra work for the technician and it doesn't even look good. I can't seem to think of why that would be $13. What a rip-off! read more

If I could give ZERO I would. I wanted a simple eye brow wax. The unprofessional woman who "attempted" to do my eye brows slapped some wax all over my face and ripped the hairs out. She did not prep the area, nor cool down the area after administering the wax. Most importantly did not take off the wax after doing it. Also did not pluck nor shape the brows. A homeless person or a baby could have done a better job. I didn't realize there was still wax all over my eyes and forehead and began to burn real bad on my drive home. Raced home to wash off her nasty job. It would not come off and continued to burn my skin badly. I called them to ask what to do to take it off, since she did not do her job. And the manager I spoke with, was just as worthless and uneducated as her co-worker and was unable to help. What a joke of salon. How are they even still in business. First time there and will never go back. I am pretty sure that the wax was unsanitary as well, because of the reaction my skin is having. This place is gross, unclean and unsanitary with greedy heathens just stealin out money. Not from this girl. I warn anyone thinking about this place, RUN the opposite direction, Just go give your money to a homeless person. I am turning them into the BBB. read more

Super nice staff and clean place. My nails looked great! I recently moved to the area from Aurora and was struggling to find my new spot until I found this salon! I will be back read more

Love this place. So far so good! Came in the first time today to have a shellac rebase done! I am VERY picking about my nails, I like them very short and thin. Kimberley listened to what I wanted and the service was fantastic. I didn't feel like they were rushing me to pick color, or rushing through the service at all. Kimberley's next client came in and another young lady finished up my nails by applying the shellac itself. Both of them combined was great! I didn't feel like I was being pushed aside or anything. I am impressed so far and hope that my nails stay looking this good for a good amount of time. Will be back! Thank you read more

Very disappointed in my last appointment here. 1) The nail tech wrapped my shellac with foil & acetone and then walked away, leaving me to sit alone for 10 minutes while she ate lunch. 2) The polish I ended up with was not the one I picked out, and when I asked for a different one because I didn't like it, she just kept going with the one I didn't like. 3) The tech applied the top coat shellac four times, I've never had someone apply four coats of anything. 4) Almost half of my nails immediately broke off after this appointment (I didn't have tips applied, these were my real, healthy strong nails that suddenly started breaking off after my last appointment). I will not be going back to Bear Creak Nails. read more

The gals in the salon are very nice but the quality is pretty horrible. I am pretty bummed about this because i live so close by. I have tried going there three tries and had the same experience every time. Manicures didn't last long at all- gel peeled off quickly. We're not detailed and didn't take their time. Pedicures they used a sander device and didn't get any callus off. Pretty sure they weren't using it right. read more

Good job on my tootsies! This place is in my neighborhood so I decided to try it out when my usual spot was booked. I called around 11am on Saturday and they had no problem getting me and a friend in at 1pm. The staff here really take their time. I purchased the $45 deluxe pedicure with the ocean refresh scrub & foot soak, along with the $5 hot stone massage. Very relaxing! My feet are STILL super soft and it's been four days. They did a great job with the painting and the artwork. It's a little bit pricier than other pedi places, but I enjoyed my visit. Another plus? Their stellar massage chairs! read more

Just got a really nice gel mani :) busy (it's Saturday) and had to wait a while even with an appointment, but not that big of a deal. I used the time to choose from their MANY gel color options. Polish looks good, will update with how long it lasts. Update: 10 days in and nails still look great (aside from being grown out) :) read more

For starters, the nail technicians were incredibly rude. Grunting every time they had to ask you to move your hand, and being highly impatient while moving from one spot to another. And then on top of the attitude the nail job was absolutely horrible. I know how to do shellac, and when I saw she went over my nail I asked her to please fix it and she gruffed and made a lousy attempt to sand it down. My nails look like a five year old tried to do them, and after all that she only took off five dollars and gave a false apology. I have to go get them redone and it will not be with this place ever again. I have included a photo of the owners nail work. Never again. read more

Tried this place on recommendation. I've been here twice now and I can't say that I've been wowed either time. They do an ok job and are reasonably priced but my nails never come out looking fantastic. On my last visit, I had 3 different people do my nails because they became busy and kept shuffling me around. They kept getting hairs in my nails and I have an imprint of a scratch or drag of something on one. You can't see it though thankfully. read more

I've been getting my nails done with acrylic since high school and I've bounced between shops. I've recently returned to the Denver/Lakewood area, and my sister (who trained as a nail technician) recommended I book an appointment when she was scheduled to go in next. So I did and I've been coming back ever since I graduated college and I don't want to go anywhere else. This most recent appointment was an impulse "treat yo self" for my mom and me and I said I would see anyone who was free to take me. I'm very particular when it comes to my shape, length, sharpness, and cleanliness. And I got exactly what I wanted! I saw Lynn, the technician my sister usually sees, and she listened and, boy, she did deliver! Lynn gave me everything I needed. There's a wide selection of gel color options, a very clean environment, and loads of customer service that isn't fake or meant to up-sell. The technicians listen to what you want and there are signs posted everywhere to let the shop know if you're ever dissatisfied with the end result before you leave. I love being listened to and getting what I want, so I know I'll be taken care of appropriately here. read more

Had to change my rating on here. One good manicure and I left a good review but two bad ones since and I won't EVER be back to this place. I got my nails done on a Friday afternoon and they are already peeling and cracking on Monday morning. Paid for an upgraded shellac manicure and the manicurist was coughing all over me during the service. She was very pregnant so I tried to go easy on her, but subpar services when I paid full price and left over 20% tip....appalling. It's a shame as the location is nice but the staff just seem to be incompetent. I came back in to get fixed and the lady at the front doing manicures laughed at my request to fix my broken nails. Rude staff and bad service. I'd give this place a negative rating if I could!! read more

I've always liked my nails when I get them done at Bear Creek - they have always been my fav. VERY nice staff, love the tv station and music that plays, the salon is clean and tidy, and the staff seem to genuinely like each other ... These are the MOST HONEST and HONARABLE folks I know. I inadvertently left an envelope containing cash there on Saturday when I checked out. I called this morning, and they confirmed they had my envelope, had secured it and also tried calling me after I left on Saturday. Is this AWESOME or what? read more

I came in a week ago and after a couple days my nails were all lifting. One hurt so bad I took it off myself. I've been getting my nails done for three years straight and I've never experienced this. It was my first time there as I'm new to Colorado and the woman was actually talking crap about a previous customer who complained to the manager about her. Considering it was $45 I would think it would be good work. Came to a new salon to get it fixed turns out it's worse than I thought. All of them are lifting and she had to take off another nail. For the price and the work I'm VERY unhappy. Will not be back. read more

Wowza, I am shook at how great this place is. I certainly do not get my nails done often as it is not my cup of tea. I just go if my sister kinda forces my to tag along. Man does this place pamper you. I got my feet done and my hands. I think it's called a manicure and pedicure and I'm not sure which is which but I got both! They even give you a little massage so much appreciated. Nails are cut great and the process was very professional and painless. I've heard that it can hurt at certain places but this was awesome. My sister got these cool nails done. I included a picture. Shoutout to Kimlan! She is certainly an artist with that amazing ombré look and cool matte finish. I saw they also have other nice de-stressing options in massages and might have to give that a try in the future. Great service here and will definitely be coming back in the future! Not too big of a wait time if you make an appointment of course. Plenty of parking outside. Overall I gotta say #kevinisastonished read more

I have found my new go-to spot that is literally down the street from me! With my busy schedule I'm not able to make an appointment but 9 out of 10 times I am able to get in with no wait! Lynn takes care of my nails and she is amazing she is so patient and she takes her time every time. I went in 2 weeks ago on a Friday night at 6PM and I didn't leave until almost 830 because of the design I wanted and I was very picky with choosing my color. The shellac manicure lasts more than 2 weeks and the color doesn't ever chip! If I would've left the shellac on past 2 weeks it'll still probably be on! I got acrylics on my last visit and she did her best not to damage the integrity of my natural nails. She always does an amazing job! And I am so happy I have found Bear Creek Nails! read more

I felt like I was rushed to pick a color and when she was doing my nails & she nicked me so many times with the filler. This was honestly the quickest manicure I've ever received and I got dip nails. The owner is one of the rudest people I have ever met. She did my pedicure and rolled her eyes at me when I asked her to cut my toes shorter.
