Spoiler alert: my nails fell off. my real nails. Fell. Off. ok so i went in to get a full set (of acrylic nails) and i was not too worried because i have had my nails done at least 50x before this. I had never been to this place before but the place i normally go to was closed and i decided to just go in for a walk in appointment. The lady was nice but as soon as she put primer on my nails, they stared to burn like crazy. they clearly don't sanitize any of their buffing/ brushes or any of their equipment. I could tell the primer was bad because of the smell. It smelled like it had gone bad (like rotting) I told her i needed to wash it off but she said before i could wash my hands she had to finish doing my nails. She filed them down to my skin and repeated cut my cuticles with a nail drill. I was bleeding already and i went in the bathroom just to cry. I came back, and even after 3 washes my nails smelt like rot and were still burning like a chemical burn. She finished up my nails and at this point i was beyond dissatisfied. The paint was very splotchy and now i was sitting there with burning nails and bleeding cuticles all over. Every time she hurt me she would apologize, and then continue to cut through my nail, to the skin. I had her remove them while i was waiting for my friend to finish because i was in the most pain i have ever felt. I went home and my natural nails were GUSSHING blood and they completely fell off the next morning. I was bawling my eyes out. overall this was the absolute worst nail experience of my life. This was a few days ago, and i'm seriously considering getting a lawyer and filing a lawsuit if my original nails do not grow back. I told them i wasn't going to write a bad review because she kept apologizing and worrying about a review, but after my nails fell off i had to. i beg you don't go to this place you will regret it after you get an infection or if your nails fall off. read more

I rarely make an appointment and just show up, usually in a state of weekend mom-exhausted-and-finally-escaped-two-under-10-sons mental breakdown. I am always greeted cheerfully and I have never waited longer than 5 minutes. It is my own severely taxed brain's fault that I don't know anyone's name, but I know that I can rely on the nail tech to be gentle, only talk to me if I begin a conversation, and ask me about any length, style, or adjustments I would prefer. These artists take their time and are detailed with their work and it shows. 6 months later and I'm still visiting here. I never am disappointed with my experience here. I got a pedicure and dipped nails done and I absolutely love the results and experience. All the ladies there are pleasant and wonderful. I had Nancy do my toes and Hai do my dip nails. Both ladies would always check on me during the progress of my nails to see if I was satisfied. Everyone in the shop treated me with the upmost respect and did their best to catered to everyone's need! I absolutely love this spot in Littleton. read more

Sadly, I will not be returing after being a customer for going on THREE MONTHS now and it is very, very sad that I have to go to the internet to resolve this issue since at the time of the service there were NO managers to deal with this serious problem. In fact, it was ONLY the Nail Tech and I in the salon at the time, I watched all the managers leave. I had an appointment for 630pm not realizing the business closed at 7pm. I showed up late. I made the comment that I could be here when they first opened in the morning so the person who would be doing my nails wouldn't be rushed. The front counter said it was not a big deal. I had an acrylic set on that I wanted to take off and replace with shellac polish with a nail design. My nail person was very, very rushed and didn't want to do my nails that was clear as day. She used a dremmel drill to remove my acrylic set instead of soaking them off to make this process faster for her. She drilled OFF my nail bed. I went from having normal strong nails that could open a simple pop can to the flimsiest nails that RIP whenever I try to open ANYTHING from a box to a pop can, even with the shellac nail polish she put on. To top it off she cut my cuticles to short and made me bleed which seems to be an ongoing problem with this salon. I work with horses and own my own company and this makes working very painful and I will not be returing. What even more sad is that Fancy Fingers up the street in the Car Toys shopping center does better than this and dremmel drills are non-existent for this reason. My mom has been going here even before I was born and shes NEVER once had a problem in those ten plus years and either as ANY of the people she's recommended the Salon too. What a concept that Fancy Fingers has a policy that if you happen to show up late to your appointment they ask you to reschedule purely so you actually get great service everytime you walk in. I know how damaging online reviews can be as I'm speaking from experience but it doesn't seem like this salon is learning from their mistakes and hopefully this review will change that. read more

One thing they do really well: heals. The first time I went here (about 6 months ago) the gal who did my nails did an excellent job. Also, she spoke near-perfect english, so she understood me: (I always shape my nails exactly how I want them before I go... my weird thing... so I always ask for him/her not to shape them. I find more often than not, they'll get shaped unevenly. When a nail technician can't understand me, he/she still tries to shape them, forcing me to pull my hands back and reiterate my request.) Sadly, that lady is no longer there. The 2 I've had in my visits since, while very nice, do terrible jobs. Especially with the gel. My last visit, they kept messing up the polish and kept me there about an extra hour. Still messed up, I had to go. And because it was gel, I had to live with it for a while. Bummer. read more

I scheduled an appt about two weeks in advance with a certain tech. Everyone was wearing masks and they don't introduce themselves. I wanted a mani-pedi. I got the gel on my feet which were perfect. No leg massage, no hot towels, nothing. Just the nails were done. Then I was told that the one that did my feet WAS NOT doing my hands. They asked if that was OK. I said, no. No, it isn't. You see, one of her regulars dropped by and she wanted to do her nails instead. I told them several times, that this was not ok. They gave me "Hai" sp? Again, no hand massage, nothing just the nails. I did NOT like my nails and took them off as soon as I got home from my trip. I may not be a regular, but I paid $115 for my nails and tipped 20% which they didn't deserve. I usually have came here before and saw I think Vivian is her name.. but I came in just a few days ago to get a pedicure and dip on my nails and a few things happened. I didn't get Vivian.. I was rushed to the pedi chair and the girl started on my toes but didn't once ask me any questions. On shape or size! She also used a USED nail file on me. This is completely unsanitary. Then the other girl started doing my nails while I'm getting my pedicure I couldn't even relax because I had to cross my hands over my body for her to put the tips on... here is my results two days later.. I don't recommend anyone go here unless you can get Vivian. She is the only one who seems to actually care and do a job worth paying for. I paid $86 and my pedicure too was half ass. read more

This is a pretty run of the mill walk-in salon. The woman who did my nails seemed knowledgeable but incapable of doing an actual sunflower design so I ended up with flowers that look like a kindergartener painted them on my toes. I also (possibly coincidentally) have a swollen spot near a toe nail that is swollen and extremely painful.... if it results in needing medical assessment and care I will be updating this review and not returning but for now I'm not sure it's related. read more

Literally the worst manicure of my life. Pedicure was mediocre and there was nail polish all over my feet but overall I paid $96 before tipping for a splotchy, uneven, full of bubbles manicure. I asked for a simple white tipped acrylics (these were taken in the parking lot of the salon) and this is what I got. She didn't cut my cuticles, ask the shape I wanted, file my nails well before or after and the tips were so low and crooked on my fingers she might as well have painted them on. The one time she did file my nails was before the top coat, and she didn't brush them off well enough so there is acrylic dust on my tips as well. The nails were full of bubbles in the top coat as well as the acrylic coat. It honestly felt personal the experience was so bad. They have regular customers too so I'm not sure if this was just my nail tech or if she was having an off day or what but I've never had an experience like this in my life. read more

I quit getting my nails done aa i was unable tp find a place with good quality and decent cost. I was leaving out of state for and was in a rush to get a clean manicure. It was mithers day i came in sbout 15 min to close and Vivienne was so kind to stay and do a very clean French manicure (Shellac). I was extremely happy with my service. I decided to come back. I got dip nails and it was $50 which is $20 more expensive then the place I usually went to and they had a very small color selection. They kept nicking my cuticles with the file which was very painful. The workers were obviously laughing and making fun of me and my friends. WARNING!!!! Worst mani I've ever had!! Getting my dip removed was one of the most painful things I've ever experienced. I had healthy nails before, now they're thin and flimsy, horribly mis-shaped, 3 of my cuticles were cut, multiple burned (after I kept telling her she was burning me, her response was, "why're you so sensitive"?!?). They looked worse leaving than they did going in! I left in tears!! AND it was far more expensive than the place I usually go to ($29-shellac & $40something for gel). read more

I have gotten a lot of bad pedicures over the years, but the one I got from Nancy was one of the absolute best. I came in 45 minutes before closing and even though they were booked, they let me sit in a chair and soak my feet until someone was available to take me. I got the deluxe mani/pedi with shellac on my nails. For about 90 minutes I was totally pampered. Excellent callous removal on my feet, and great cuticle trim for my nails. I would not recommend this place. I went in for a mani/ Pedi and they had two people do it at the same time. It was very uncomfortable and I wasn't able to relax. Also, the technician cut my cuticle very badly and it is still red and sore a week later. Additionally, I paid for a gel manicure that started chipping and peeling off the next day with minimal use. Hai at Nail Focus has been doing my nails for years & years. We try colors or different products and if I don't like them, she happily changes them. Her patience when doing my pedicures is so appreciated because I have ingrown toe nails. She (as gently as possible) removes them and provides relief - thankfully. My nails and toes always look fantastic!!! (Thank you Hai!) Once in a while another technician will take care of me if Hai is not there or not available ... I've always had a wonderful experience and great nails or toes. And you should know about Vivian. She has so patiently and gently taken care of my mothers "elderly toenails" for the past few years. Moms toenails were so very unhealthy. It took months, but little by little Vivian helped manage the growth of the "bad toenails" and cared for the healthy toenails. She also makes me aware of any concerns. In one instance, she pointed out redness that after taking my mother to the Dr. turned out to be a leg infection which required antibiotics. (Thank you Vivian!) I've watched the ladies cater to daughters of moms and grandmothers getting their nails done by applying a quick polish to the little girls delight. They clearly make men comfortable in the salon since I've seen many men having pedicures and manicures. My son was comfortable keeping himself entertained on a tablet, while my daughter and I were getting pampered with our pedicures. They were very gentle on us.
