My 9 year old granddaughter and I decided to treat ourselves to mani-pedis on Friday afternoon after I picked her up from school. This salon is close to her school and had decent reviews so we decided to stop. Let's start with the positive. The staff was very friendly and considerate. The place is also very clean and they have a nice selection of colors. We were hoping for a great experience. I opted for a pedicure and a manicure using nail powder and a basic mani-pedi for my granddaughter. The pedicures was average and my feet do not look much better than when I pumice them at home. My granddaughter's toes are fine, but again, nothing that I could not have done at home. Now for the rest. My nails are awful. The powder polish is thick and the color is extremely uneven due to repeated dipping to correct problems with the precious dip. I have polish stuck on my cuticle and on the sides of my nail. They look sloppy and unprofessional, at best. I also have a burn from the sanding tool under one of my nails because the person doing my nail had to keep sanding down the powder in order to try and get the application applied correctly. After over 2 hours and several attempts I finally said I needed to leave. I paid my $100 and left. An hour later, at dinner, polish on one of my granddaughter's nails came off entirely in one piece. The remainder of the polish also came off, unaided, when she showered that evening. She did not want to go back Saturday to get them redone. Obviously her nail bed was not prepped before the polish was applied. Do not go to this place. Pricey and very disappointing experience. read more

The owner is very sweet and seems overworked as she's the only one that can do acrylic nails. She is the reason why I give this place 2 stars and not zero. On the other note, my daughter and I went to get pedicures and she also got a manicure along with it. I got the Top Pedicure package which was mediocre at best with the service. I can probably find that with better service for the same price elsewhere. My daughter's tech seemed to rush and didn't pay attention to detail or come back and check on her to see if her nails were dry. Her nails had streaks/lines on them which they made it seem as if that was normal. I tipped 20% which now I regret because it seemed they didn't even care to try and correct it. We couldn't wait for someone to fix it when they had time to if they checked on her while she waited for my pedicure to be finished. I think the owner needs her techs to pay better attention to detail. I pay for a service I expect to be done correctly. I don't recommend this place. read more

I went in a couple weeks ago for a basic pedicure and to get my gel manicure removed. The prices were reasonable and fair. The place was very clean but also very plain. There are TVs to watch with close captioning. The staff was nice but not overly friendly. I was impressed with the quality of my pedicure and it has held up really well! (The photo was taken today, 2 weeks after I got it.). The pedicure chairs were nice, but not as comfortable and relaxing as some others I have tried. The technician had my chair moved so far forward that my feet were cramped in the bowl and slightly uncomfortable. Overall my experience was good, but just lacking a "wow factor." read more

My experience with this salon wasn't great. I'd never gotten my nails done, so a friend gifted me the experience for my birthday. She, my daughter and I went this past Saturday. She got her toes done. My daughter got a mani-pedi. Their experience was fine. I got a manicure and will never do so EVER again. The guy who did my nails was sooo incredibly aggressive with the cuticle tools that he left me sore and even wounded. I noticed while he was cleaning up my cuticles that he often looked up and around the room like he was distracted. There was a couple of "OUCH" moments that left me bleeding on two digits and four of my other cuticles were very sore for the next three days. When he'd finished torturing me, I noticed several of the fingernails were crooked - two VERY crooked. My friend said something to the owner, and she did a little filing. I got the dip, so I'll have to have my nails cleaned up at some point, but I sure as heck am not going back to Pretty Point Nails! read more

My grandma and I went here for pedicures and both of us landed up with infections. A month later my big toe still really hurts. I went to the doctor and he said I most definitely have an infection and put me on antibiotics. I went to talk to the nail place and she told me that this was not from them, that it's from an ingrown toe nail. Even though I had just seen a doctor and the doc said it's an infection not an ingrown toe nail. This infection started the day after my pedicure. Like most nail salons, who you get makes all the difference in the world. The long story is below. If you don't want to read all that, know this: there are much better places in Littleton to get your nails done - cheaper even. For example, go to Nice Touch Nails and ask for Vinnie. So my friends treated me to a birthday mani/pedi last week (so sweet!) and I immediately liked the place. Clean, great color selection (even of the color-changing mood polish!) nice pedi chairs w/massage, even two super cute butterfly chairs for the little girls. I asked for french tips on my toes with a flower on each big toe and a french tip shellac manicure. While my friends and I are chatting away, I notice that my nail tech is putting a royal blue flower on my toe. Now I realize I hadn't yet specified what color I'd like the flower, but I expected her to ask me once she got to that point. So I stopped her and said I was hoping for a white flower (by the way, I HATE complaining about things and usually just let things fly but I really didn't want a big blue flower on my toe for the next month). She seemed slightly irritated, but went ahead and removed most of the blue (yes, most) before painting a white flower that could rival an artistically challenged toddler's rendition. Like Elsa, I let it go. I just didn't have the guts to tell her it looked like I painted it using a brush held by the toes of my other foot. Anyway, I then noticed that on that same toe, the french tip line was messed up enough that it was sticking up and connecting to the flower. I gathered my strength and politely asked if she'd mind scraping that extra bit of polish off so that the line was straight. She acted like she couldn't see what I was talking about so I pointed to it again and even offered to fix it myself with her little metal pointed tool thingy, then the tech next to her (that was working on my friend) scoots over and looks at my toe, shows her exactly what I'm talking about, takes the tool from her and fixes it herself, in a matter of like 5 seconds. Yay, there is hope for the salon! Then we move on to the shellac manicure... By now I'm pretty sure my lady hates me but is trying not to show it. We get through the manicure almost seamlessly, although she did hold up every single finger for me to inspect before moving on to the next (because you know, I'm almost impossible to please with all these crazy complaints I'm making...), but hey, I'd rather have her do that then not ask at all. So everything seems fine until I'm totally done and I go sit down to wait for my friends. The shellac starts getting all these weird bubbles under the surface on almost every nail. I'm thinking, oh no, I can't say anything because I've already exceeded my complaint allowance for like the next month! But my friend makes me show her tech, to see what she thinks and she says "Oh, she put gel too thick..." At this point there's no way I'll stay and make my friends wait for me to get them redone, and I tell my friend's tech that, so she says come back tomorrow and we will fix it. I went back, they made the same girl fix her mistake (ugh) and she said my nails are too short for a french manicure (what? you did it two days ago...). Whatever, no fight left in me, I opt for the color-changing polish I mentioned earlier. Love the color. Application was messy...seriously, she must be new. I hope she's new. I've never had such a bad $60 mani/pedi experience. The worst part is I didn't get my tech's name to warn all of you! (my head is hanging in shame). I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because my friends' nails turned out great. read more
