I met her way before she moved into this gorgeous salon. She's my person. She understands me. I was an orphan before I met her. I told her that. My girl before her moved back to Kentucky and I was lost. Bouncing from one stylist to another. Until Val. So this new location where Valry moved to is owned by a husband and wife team. Lucinda and Sam. Lucinda has over 25 years experience in the industry and my stylist over 10 years. Over 35 years put together is quite amazing. I love the vibrant colors inside this salon. The open air design. The Color Bar. It looks just like bar except it's for hair color and such. The floor to ceiling mirrors to the left and right past the check in counter on the left is fantastic! I want one in my house! They only use the best products. Location wise it's prob the best in Denver! It's next to Launch Colorado and if you've been there then you know that this is such a scenic location. Very representative of CO and it's abundance of beautiful surroundings. This location is not far from the Red Rocks official hotel and across from the Hogback parking lot and next to the Kum and Go gas station. Drive a few minutes and kick back while they do your hair in peace. Lots of parking and the food and coffee next door is great!

Alex, our stylist, seemed inexperienced with the installation process and struggled throughout the appointment. Two days later, my daughter's bracelet fell off. We then waited another two weeks to have it reinstalled, only for it to fall off again the very next day. Because of the repeated issues, the salon scheduled us with a different stylist - only to later call and say there had been a "shift change" and Alex was the only one available. The lack of quality and customer service was extremely disappointing. I also called regarding the reschedule immediately after receiving their text message, but no one answered. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this salon for permanent jewelry services.

I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years but enough is enough. I have watched what was a once…read morebustling business esp on the weekends and it is not any more, and it seems clear why. I went from going every two weeks to every three weeks because prices climbed--something I completely understand but that is not an excuse for increasingly poor service. First they dropped hand massages, then lotion, then oil, and now having your nails cut down, shaped, or your cuticles done are extra services you have to pay for though other salons make clear when they offer them to you as a part of transparency in pricing. They are doing a needed update, finally including their products, but warning now the only nonshellac polishes are in a book of two pages, so don't expect to be get much choice if you don't want shellac--also they took out the station to dry your non shellac mani/pedi. Then there's the quality --my last shellac turned dark in a week at the bottom (first time in 20 years and I told it's not their fault.). I have always been bothered by the fact k out the margin between cuticle and polish is larger than recommended and they already looking a bit grown out and knowing this means it won't last as long, but because I liked the manicures I didn't complain. But this time, that is EXACTLY the issue as oil etc got beneath the manicure and it chipped at well, and I got told that happens--then it's time not to spend $50 for something that can't last more than 7 days. What has made me decide to stop going after over 2 decades is the true disrespect of their customers. Yes, small businesses are taught to offer a compliment to make it seem like you care but they also teach you do not keep customers who have appointments waiting so you can get another customer in. I wait at least 15 minutes, sometimes as long as 30 min, at least every other time. Our time is as valuable as yours, and I'm sorry when it happen 50% of the time (or the techs are taking personal calls on their phones), that is NOT acceptable. Your time is no more valuable than your customers and this disrespect is now standard here. If you really are sorry, then either offer a discount or a free added service and DON"T continue to do the same thing making it clear you just don't value your regulars. Meanwhile, I see the spa down the street actually posts their prices and what they include as well as the add ons, and hand massages are sill part of basic service--think I'll give them a try and hopefully find a salon that values loyal customers.
