I don't know about you-but that'll be my first question on my first visit. Who owns the biggest set of balls? And of course if they're taking new clients etc: C'mon! Chop Chop! Pick up that phone and make that appointment to know the answers to those two questions. LOL! Hey my priorities eschewed mission aside aren't you one bit curious? I think most of us need that connection with a hairdresser and the utmost trust that she can translate our vision. Because sometimes there aren't enough words to really tell someone that when my hair is a mess it could really mean I am a mess till I get my hair issue fixed. My hair stylist here is Valry. I met her way before she moved into this gorgeous salon. She's my person. She understands me. I was an orphan before I met her. I told her that. My girl before her moved back to Kentucky and I was lost. Bouncing from one stylist to another. Until Val. So this new location where Valry moved to is owned by a husband and wife team. Lucinda and Sam. Lucinda has over 25 years experience in the industry and my stylist over 10 years. Over 35 years put together is quite amazing. I love the vibrant colors inside this salon. The open air design. The Color Bar. It looks just like bar except it's for hair color and such. The floor to ceiling mirrors to the left and right past the check in counter on the left is fantastic! I want one in my house! They only use the best products. Location wise it's prob the best in Denver! It's next to Launch Colorado and if you've been there then you know that this is such a scenic location. Very representative of CO and it's abundance of beautiful surroundings. This location is not far from the Red Rocks official hotel and across from the Hogback parking lot and next to the Kum and Go gas station. Drive a few minutes and kick back while they do your hair in peace. Lots of parking and the food and coffee next door is great!

They didn't have hair bands for some reason, so they used rubber bands. The stylist sectioned her hair into two, and asked me if that was okay. From what I saw, it seemed fine, so I said yes, and asked for a straight cut. Watching her cut, I immediately began to panic, but it was too late. Her cuts were literally at an angle, and I knew that she would have to cut a ton off to even it out. After she was done, I was waiting for her to part my daughters hair, and she never did. She did a few cuts, and then took the cover off. I asked if the front was supposed to be longer, and she said "it's the style". Getting home, I started seeing the absolute atrocity that was my daughters hair. You can see it in the photos. I thought about going back, but truly didn't want them to ruin her hair further. First and last time I'll go to a cost cutters.

Raffaele's is absolutely incredible! I was recommended to him by my mother in law who has been…read moregoing to him for about 18 years! I was lucky enough to get a semi-last minute appointment with Raffaelle and I was in desperate need of a Brazilian Blow Out treatment, as my last keratin treatment was right before my wedding in April. I have to say, this was the best Brazilian keratin treatment I have ever gotten. I also needed my roots done because I'm getting a ton of white hairs (boo!) ... Raffaele chose the PERFECT color for me ... my hair is pretty porous and pulls color very easily and I was skeptical when he chose such a dark color to match my roots (I was usually doing a 6G and he chose one much darker for me ... when I last had that done my hair turned goth black) ... but I was so wrong and Raffaele was SO RIGHT ... it turned out a rich mahogany that I had been dying to achieve for years but was never able to ... but Raffaele was!! I trust him fully ... he stands by his work and honestly, cares much, much more about his work and reputation than about making a buck. I listened to him talk a woman out of a very expensive color treatment she wanted because he knew it would not be the best for her hair type/texture as well as her skin tone ... he cared more about the fact that people would know he did the work than about making the sale ... he gave her sage advice and she was going to return when her hair grew out a bit more in order for him to help her achieve the look that she wanted ... this told me he was the real deal. Raffaele is unlike anyone you will meet ... especially in this day and age ... his pride is in his work not in the dollars he earns ... but he is worth every damn penny!! I will be returning and this is just one less thing I have to worry about moving to a new city!! Thank you Raffaele!! Love, Melissa
