This review is solely for the banquet area inside the golf course. My husband and I just had a wedding reception here this past weekend, and we couldn't have been happier and satisfied with how everything turned out. We had booked the venue back in Spring 2025 of last year because spots were filling up quickly. I highly recommend booking in advance if you're planning to have an event at the Diamond Bar Golf Course. I want to personally extend my utmost gratitude and thanks to Catherine and Olivia, who helped coordinate our special day and make this event possible for us. They are very accommodating, friendly, and responsive, and will answer any questions that you may have. Our wedding reception lasted for 5 hours, but every minute was wonderfully spent with our loved ones. For more specific details and information, please check out their website and Instagram page: @diamondbargcevents. Thank you again, Catherine and Olivia! We will gladly recommend and refer the venue to those who are looking to book an event!

Just a little view of the course

I enjoyed this course far more than I expected, for the price. The layout was fun, had some challenging holes, with a solid spread between par 3,4, and 5's. I was bummed there was no cart attendant, and that the café wasn't open at the time we started. But once they did open, everybody there was great, the service was fast, and they had food ready to go. It would be nice if people would fix their divots on the green, but that's not the course's fault. I look forward to playing here again!

Chasing sunsets to close 9 holes

Played here three times since they opened, all in the afternoon super twilight times. The furthest I've gotten is to hole 16 but that's not because the pace was slow it's just because I am cheap and we ran out of sunlight. The course itself is nice and coming along really well, especially the greens versus when they first opened. It's along a freeway but no roads or homes are in play expect for one or two holes so you can swing free without fear of causing too much damage. Unless you somehow hit a high slice over the netting on to the 60 freeway on hole 2 during rush hour...which would be both scary but also scary impressive too. Anyways other than that I've never had a problem with booking and there always seems to be at least a starter there to kind of manage the flow of players. It can get backed up from time to time like the old DBGC but that's muni golf for ya. The course itself plays a lot easier than before in my opinion. The old 8th hole has been tamed to now be the easiest hole on the front 9. Additionally, the added improvements to the course have taken some unintentional hazards out of the course such as random drainage systems on fairways etc.... Diamond Bar is probably a course that is definitely in my top 5 of total rounds played and I'm definitely looking to keep it in the rotation. Can't wait to be back to play it again.

I love this course. I am new to golf and this has to be my favorite course to play at. Tee time prices are reasonable for such a nice course, but I have such a problem with how they let JR's/High School teams play on here. The first time I played here there was a high school team playing on hole 6. Being new I have no idea to navigate around them. I was with two guys that are more seasoned and we decided to just pass them. This teenagers have NO self awareness or their surroundings. On hole 5 we waiting for the teenagers to finish and afterwards they started walking back to the tee box where we were standing. We yelled at them to move out of the way, but were too busy talking to each other. Today two JR's was put in front of my tee time. They were fine, but now I realized why they play like there is all the time in the world. JR's only pay 8 bucks per kid. Even their parent was complaining because the front desk couldn't add some imaginary coupon code. So I was already annoyed. Bruh you're only paying 8 bucks to play 18 holes. Give me a break. My biggest issue is Diamond Bar should require anyone after 1-2pm (day lights saving) to get a cart even if they are a JR. These teenagers are just taking their sweet time with no care in the world. Mind you my tee time was 1pm. I'm hoping to get 18 holes in. My real problem is that these JR's have a parent/coach with them taking their sweet time and not playing at pace. There was no Marshall pushing the slow players forward either. If you're ok with a very slow pace in the afternoon and not get 18 holes in when you have 4-5 hours before it gets dark. Diamond Bar needs to do better with pace of the game. JR's should not be allowed to walk on without a tee time. I would only book early tee times when teenagers are not out of school. I would 100% not book an afternoon tee time during a holiday again.

I hadn't played here since the remodel was complete, but had a great time! Had an early morning Tee time and the pace of play was great (4-hours for the round)! My only issue was the lack of maintenance on the greens. Lots of ball marks that are not being fixed by other golfers. Will definitely play here again.

$11 breakfast burrito. Pretty lack luster and way overpriced...

My local golf course. Has one of the nicest bunkers to practice you sand and even the chipping area has a lot of room to dial in your game.

Queenie is the definition of professional, organized, and incredibly thoughtful in her approach. From the beginning, she provided us with all the right tools and guidance, giving us appropriate questions to ask vendors, reviewed contracts, and shared insightful feedback that really helped us make informed decisions. She was never pushy; instead, she offered suggestions based on her expertise while always empowering us to shape the wedding in our own way to truly make it OURS. We had some pretty unconventional requests, and she never hesitated to support us. We genuinely felt heard and cared for the entire time. Queenie kept everything on track with structured meetings, a shared Google Drive, spreadsheets, checklists, and timelines that even we (as Type A people) found incredibly helpful. She was always available to answer questions or provide updates, be it by text, phone, or email. As the big day got closer and things became busier for us, Queenie stepped in even more to coordinate with vendors, troubleshoot logistical issues (like creatively solving our catering parking situation with a carpool plan!), and make sure everything was good to go. And then the day of! Queenie and her team executed everything flawlessly! She kept us on track of our timeline without ever making us feel rushed (you hear of the day going by so quickly so often from previous couples) and the entire day flowed beautifully. Honestly, we've heard so many couples talk about the behind-the-scenes chaos and hiccups of wedding days but with Queenie, there was none of that (during, behind the scenes, OR after). Everything was just PERFECT. It was the most perfect day and tbh, we were shocked that we DID that, and we know we owe so much of that to her and her team! We had no idea what to expect going into this, but Queenie is truly a gem and ensured an amazing experience. Not only did she emcee for the evening, but prior to the day of, she made sure we had a detailed timeline leading up to the wedding, fun game ideas (that our guests couldn't stop talking about after), and a smooth and coordinated experience with Norm. Though my husband and I went into every prep meeting feeling a little chaotic, we always came away with clarity and renewed excitement! The day of is where both Queenie and Norm really shined. Norm was a master at reading the room and keeping the music and energy lively. His attention to detail with his set up ensured everything worked smoothly. Queenie continued to shine and amaze as the night went on. Even with multiple obstacles and even some points of tension throughout the night, she went out of her way to smooth things over and keep the show going. We don't know how she did it with the random things popping up interrupting our detailed timeline, but we are so grateful to her ensuring we got every experience we wanted for our special day. The only caveat to that is we had to sacrifice a little of our dance time. We know Norm would've kept that party going late into the night if we were given the chance. Still, we had the best time and a memorable night. If weddings were more than a one time thing, we'd be booking the both of them every time!

My wife's bridesmaids paid for Liz, Daniel, and an assistant to work our wedding as a shower gift…read more I know the price though and I can say with certainty that it was WELL worth it and is something I would gladly pay for myself in hindsight. We got married at Cravens Estate with 200 guests. Cravens is (or "was" since we were told ours would be the last wedding there; damn those snobby, rich, complaining neighbors!) a venue where you bring everything yourself -- food, booze, tables, chairs, musicians, servers, etc., so as you can imagine there is quite a bit of coordinating that had to be done. Liz's team met with us several times in the six months leading up to our wedding. We had some minor snafus nailing down meeting dates/times because they were coming from out east and we live close to Santa Monica, but we made it work. Our venue added restrictions seemingly every month thanks to those pesky neighbors, and Liz and Daniel were good about brainstorming workarounds with us. As for the big day, everything went great. They basically took care of everything that we were too busy to check on ourselves, and I'm sure they were running around monitoring details as my wife and I rested/socialized/ate/drank/took pictures. Funny story, we actually had forgotten our ceremony candles, and Daniel took off for the nearest mall about a half hour before our ceremony to get us something that would work and came back all out of breath just in time. The effort was much appreciated. They kept things moving and on schedule but also were able to give us an extra minute or two with a table here or there. I brought a few blank checks to the wedding and used one to extend Liz's team a couple more hours. All in all, I highly recommend their services! The peace of mind alone makes it worth hiring them.

They agreed even though they were unfamiliar with the Michigan territory and our venue. We had to also communicate through skype & google chat. Liz's assistants designed and printed our invitations and programs (a separate addition I paid for). I was very picky/specific with the way I wanted them --- football ticket style invitations and foam finger looking paper programs. Everything came out SOOOO perfectly. They did it in a manner so that it was still classy, feminine and cute yet sporty. They are so talented. People even asked if they could save the invitations and email us their rsvp instead of ripping the ticket stub. As for the wedding coordinating, Liz is very very meticulous. Even my venue and vendors were impressed and commented that they have never seen such an organized and detailed timeline. She wants your wedding to be as perfect as possible. We met via computer 3 times where we went over the timeline and other questions she had for us. She asked questions I would have NEVER thought of. She covers everything from the day before to the end of the night so that you come and leave with everything. I am very impressed with the organization of This Is The Day. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. I didn't know of any problems at all. My husband and I were so stress free. We just did everything they told us to do. Our MC had stage fright and ended up not making the flow as smooth, Dae Gun/Liz stepped up and guided him to make sure the flow of the reception went smoothly. Also, the day of, we found out we had to do the korean ceremony (pae bek). Liz and Dae Gun fit it into the schedule so smoothly. No one knew how to put on the head piece of the hanbok and the male hanbok, but Liz and Dae Gun did. They also guided us through the whole pae bek. They are amazing and obviously very experienced. The fact that they were in a different state didn't alter their skillsets at all! I don't know what I would have done without them. THANK YOU THIS IS THE DAY!

When my husband and I got engaged, I was overwhelmed and unsure of where to begin with wedding planning. We discovered Rachelle on Instagram and were immediately drawn to her beautiful designs and aesthetic. From our very first Zoom call, she put us at ease, and her warmth, patience, and genuine kindness made it clear she was the perfect fit for us. Even before we officially booked with Rachelle, she went above and beyond by sharing a curated list of venue recommendations. Throughout the planning process, she consistently provided us with thoughtful guidance and vendor suggestions. Every single vendor she recommended was amazing and easy to work with. As someone who can be extremely indecisive, she helped make all of our decisions much easier. Rachelle was also very conscientious about helping us stay within our budget. She never made us feel pressured to spend more than we were comfortable. One of the most helpful things was her inventory of complimentary wedding items--things like table number signs, a card box, and other beautiful decor pieces we were able to borrow, which not only helped us save money but tied everything together perfectly. On the wedding day, Rachelle was a calming and grounding presence. She ensured everything ran seamlessly and that we were completely free to enjoy the moment. One of the things we appreciated most was how intentional she was about creating space for us as a couple - right after the ceremony, she carved out a quiet moment for us to enjoy some food and just soak it all in together, away from the crowd. It was such a special pause in an otherwise fast-moving day. We received countless compliments not just on how beautiful the wedding was, but on how smoothly and professionally everything was run. Because of Rachelle, my husband and I were able to be fully present, knowing that every detail was in trusted hands. We are so grateful to Rachelle for bringing our vision to life. What questions do we need to ask when visiting potential venues? And how on earth do we obtain a wedding license? Rachelle swiftly alleviated the anxiety caused by the uncertainty and confusion. Her unwavering self-assurance and meticulous attention to detail brought a sense of relief from day one. What we came to realize is that, despite all the meticulous planning we undertook before our big day, things still went wrong. With the temperature soaring to 95 degrees, falling behind schedule, and our feet aching, Rachelle and her team came to our rescue. The potential mini panic attack that could have happened was averted due to Rachelle and her team's presence. As valuable as the spreadsheets, recommendations, walk-throughs, and monthly meetings were, what resonated most with us was Rachelle's ability to connect with us on a profound and personal level. Throughout the process, it was more than just business; she took the time to understand us as a couple and as individuals, transcending the role of a mere "wedding vendor" and becoming a true friend. She guided us every step of the way, kept us on schedule, and made sure every detail was executed perfectly. We had a Chinese tea ceremony during the morning and she was very patient with our traditions and super efficient getting everyone ready to be served tea next. I-Jou is truly amazing at what she does and helped bring our vision to life. She is incredibly thoughtful and made sure we were well taken care of every step of the way. During our welcome photos, we were sweating, and she continuously checked in on us, bringing water and drinks and even saving appetizers from cocktail hour while we were busy with photos. When we were at our sweetheart table, she went to grab us drinks from the bar and even brought us desserts from our dessert bar! I-Jou knew the right questions to ask and overall we felt well supported throughout the whole wedding planning process up until the end of our wedding day. Because of her, I was able to truly be present and enjoy my wedding day without a single ounce of stress! Which is very rare for me because I am an overthinker and stress over the little things. I-Jou was wonderful to work with as our wedding planner!…read more The main highlights from working with her: 1. She provides great suggestions for vendors. Since she already has a working relationship with them, they are typically equally easy to work with. 2. She understands Chinese/Taiwanese traditions, which made it a lot easier to us to work with her since we needed to preemptively identify pain points and important unique to our culture to avoid family headaches. 4. She had a great attitude even when our requests were vague (mainly when we aren't sure of what the exact solution is and only have a rough vision/idea of what we want) 5. She handled day-of stressful situations with grace and had great backup plans ready when things went wrong. 6. Despite being busy, she is very responsive when we need her. My suggestion for couples (in general when working with any wedding planner) is to be proactive and do your due diligence with vendors and the wedding vision. Treating the working relationship as a partnership. Doing your own research about vendors and wedding day formalities will really save you time and help fill in the gaps. Don't hesitate to ask questions when you're unsure about timelines and what is "typical" in a wedding.
