Golf at Golf Envy is totally done on high tech golf simulators. Providing a surprisingly good golf experience in a great, climate controlled environment. The round allows for playing with all clubs including unique fairway, rough and both fairway and green side bunker shots and putting! It allows you to experience playing courses like Royal St Andrew's and Pebble Beach, the course we played today. As mentioned, Golf Envy is a "Membership" golf experience with 24 hour access for members. They have weekly league play and tournament options available to members! The is a first class, high end, facility which I highly recommend! It's a great way to work on you game and it's a whole lot of fun! Jim

There are 3 simulators here. What sets them apart is that they also have various hitting surfaces. Not just your typical mat, but simulated cuts of rough, fairway bunkers, and green side bunkers. The hitting surface also can move if you are playing a simulated course to angle potential hills. There is also putting involved here. The simulators can be anything from a choice of hundreds of real courses, to driving ranges, and more. Supposedly you can play up to 4 hours a day with memberships. Reserving bays for an hour at a time. This is a membership only place, but you can sign up online for a short free demo. The memberships are not cheap. They have month to month, 6 month, or yearly plans, but expect to pay a couple hundred a month for that. I am sure prices will change depending on how many members they have currently. But if you can afford it, it will be a fun place to play in a weather controlled environment.

We love Kitty, who works here and at the Los Feliz Par 3 golf course. Roosevelt Golf Course is well maintained and the fairways are wide and the layout is nice. This is a great course to learn how to aim because there's wide fairways so you'll be able to find your ball. The course layout is nice yet not so tight due to the wide fairways. You won't find many greens with divots (we are OCD about fixing our divots (and others) no matter which course we visit because we respect the sport) because it may be due to the hole designs. They are nice and challenging. You have a couple of dogleg left or right holes. You'll see a flag to mark the middle of hole on the fairway for those dogleg holes. The course is well maintained and the greens are SO nice! Each tee box, fairway and green was in excellent condition. You won't hear any freeway or traffic noise because it's nestled in a neighborhood. There's plenty of trees so you won't be scorching in the sun. There's a perfect amount of shade for each hole. We were introduced to this golf course by one of their long standing staff members, Kitty who also works at the Los Feliz Par 3 golf course. We're so glad she mentioned Roosevelt because now we will be frequenting Roosevelt and Los Feliz! Roosevelt is so relaxing and we love the wildlife we encounter at Roosevelt, too. Avoid, avoid, avoid…read more There's so many things wrong with this course. We came on 10/10 and were on time for our tee time around 1PM. Yet still had to wait 30 minutes on the first hole. Groundskeeper comes in while we're waiting to tee off and gives us an attitude regarding pace of play. Keep in mind, this is one of the courses that do allow a 5-some, but should they really? As we're getting lectured by the dictator, I mean groundskeeper/"marshall". We're watching the group in front of us skip the ball 10-20 feet each shot. Group in front of us has zero sense of urgency and yet the groundskeeper is still giving us attitude. Look we paid to play golf here, not for you to go on a power trip. If y'all had that much time, maybe actually marshall the people who aren't keeping pace of play/proper etiquette. Management really needs to review how this course is being managed and the current staff. The round took us almost 4 hours for 9 holes. The course itself is in pretty rough shape. Layout is mid at best, but has some nice views of the Griffin Observatory. The greens were pretty bad, they could just be half sand pit for the most part. Keep your money, take your clubs somewhere else. This course isn't worth the headache and time wasted for each hole.

I hadn't been here in months, and I was hoping to see some improvement since my last review. Whoever is responsible for maintaining this place should be replaced. I honestly don't think they care about, or even understand, quality. With the rainy season approaching, conditions are only going to get worse. From what I heard there's fraud with the finances here. They recently redid the parking lot, which didn't really need any work, while neglecting the areas that actually matter. But nice they redid the parking lot. That money should have been shared and invested in maintaining the greens and fixing Hole 5. For years, Hole 5 has had the same issue. The mat is constantly moved around, resulting in uneven footing and inconsistent lies. -2 star Every hole was covered with debris. Even the hitting mats looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. It's a shame because this place has so much potential and could be much better. Another -2 stars Management also needs to do something about the pace of play. A course marshal would help tremendously. I've seen groups of two to four players sharing a single set of clubs, which slows everyone down. Whoever is checking players in should require club rentals when needed. Another -2 stars In addition, almost no one yells "Fore!" when an errant shot is heading toward other players, creating a safety concern. This is a great place for beginners to learn the game, but players should also learn basic golf rules and etiquette. Having a marshal on the course would help reinforce those standards and improve the overall experience for everyone. Negative 10 stars for this place.

Indian Hills Golf Course is such a great local spot and has so much more to offer than just golf…read more The sports bar is a great place to grab a cold beer, relax, and watch the games. It has a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere and is definitely a place you can hang out and enjoy yourself. They also have a fantastic banquet facility with two large event rooms. I've attended several weddings and other events here, and they have always done a great job. The space works really well for everything from weddings and receptions to parties and larger gatherings. A huge shout-out to Priscilla, the event coordinator. She is absolutely amazing! She's friendly, professional, attentive, and really goes out of her way to make sure events run smoothly. You can tell she genuinely cares about the people she works with and about making each event special. Between the golf course, sports bar, cold beer, and excellent banquet facilities, Indian Hills is truly a hidden gem. If you're looking for a place to watch the game, play a round of golf, or host a wedding or special event, I highly recommend checking them out!

Real foggy start but by the hole 11 suns out guns out! A little set back on hole 4 when we realized our cart foot break didn't work and we kept rolling! LOL! But the course design is so different from other courses with its assortment of terrain & slopes. The fairways & greens could be better yet still decent & playable. We started at 3PM on a Saturday and got paired with a nice Korean couple. Pace of play was good. Unfortunately due to our late start we had to quit after the 12th whole since it became dark & hard to see our ball. We past some who were still playing with their luminous balls. Definitely will return to play again the whole 18 holes.
