We did not see a marshal until the 14th hole. When I asked about the slow play, he explained that there was a tournament on the course. I also pointed out that the trash bin at the 11th hole was overflowing, and I hope it was taken care of afterward. There was some confusion with our pairings. I had canceled three spots and lost $30 in non-refundable reservation fees. Fortunately, the staff allowed one player to join another group so that my friend and I could play together. Would I recommend Marshall Canyon? At this time, no. The course has potential, but improvements are needed, particularly with pace of play, overall course conditions, and the quality of the bunkers.

Having a choice is great. I didn't think I'd enjoy the par 3 course when my buddy invited me, but accepted because I haven't played much due to the heat and needed to get some swings in before I get back out on a full course, but was pleasantly surprised. For one, you have the option of hitting off mats or a tee on most of the holes, which is huge for me. I hate hitting off mats as it doesn't translate well for me when playing on grass. The two holes that are mats only have these great mats where you can actually use a short tee or hit off a very quality grass like mat. The course itself was nice and green as well. The greens were recently aerated which sucked but not a deal breaker.

Especially Heather and Payton. They're the best. Their range has an option to record your shots, I believe it's the same program that they use in topgolf. Now, as far as the golf course, their greens are very challenging. Although it is a three par course, don't let that deceive you. You can work on your short game here, and definitely putting. The greens are by no means easy, you definitely have to pay attention to what you're doing and read the green. I will definitely be coming back to this location. I just wish that they offered a membership. Other than that, this is a great place to go with your friends or family. Highly recommended.

The entire planning process with Daleney was seamless--she was responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely accommodating to every detail we wanted to include for such a special occasion. On the day of the event, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their attentiveness and kindness did not go unnoticed and made all of our guests feel welcomed and cared for. The space itself was spotless, the setup was just right, and everything felt organized and stress-free. The food was absolutely delicious, the communication throughout was excellent, and the overall value was outstanding. Every aspect--from the service to the ambiance--was truly a 10. (And it might be an unusual detail to highlight, but even the bathroom was impeccably clean, which says a lot! I look for these things) Most importantly my brother in law felt celebrated and honored, which meant the world to us. Well, the clubhouse was nice enough and seemed clean in the areas I saw, but to me, the crowned jewel of every country club should be its golf course. This is where I was extremely disappointed. I cannot imagine being a member at this country club and having a golf course in this condition. I have seen municipal courses that don't require a tee time or greens fees in better shape! There were bare spots all over the "fairways," there was grass growing over the "sand traps," the "tee boxes" were uneven with sporadic grass. I honestly could not believe it. I am hopeful this course can be saved, because it actually could be nice. But it needs some serious love and maybe a Board that actually cares about their product. I bet membership would increase! Cheers!

I have golfed here before in a tournament and the course was really beautiful. I called a week in…read moreadvance because like most golf courses they only book a week out. Well I called again the day before to confirm and was told they didn't see my name anywhere and that they had a tournament going. What was displeasing was that my group and I had taken the day off from work to make this golf day happen. Josh who answered the phone was very pleasant and told me he wasn't sure why Roman booked me for a day if there was no way to book with the tee times blocked off due to a tournament. Really think they need to look into this mishap. If I didn't have the OCD that I have I would've never called a day before to confirm as I usually do when there is no confirmation of a text or email reservation. Glad I called and will be calling to schedule another day and hope it sticks for next week. I will update my review if the review calls for an update. In the meantime I have photos from a better experience.
