Staff was friendly and range was quiet. They have a nice chipping area and even offer hitting on grass days!

The staff and the range are the best value for the money, and as far as the staff and the pros there, they are very congenial and helpful.

This review is long overdue. I located this company based on an ad in Alloy & Grit magazine…read more Essentially, Off The Grid Rentals has a few locations but they are done in partnership with independent shops, in this case Spirit Off-Road. (I'll do a separate review for them too.) I rented one of their rear-drop camping trailers for a trip to Zion with my son for his birthday. The staff at Spirit Off-Road was incomparable in their friendliness, willingness to help, and how accommodating they were in helping my son and I secure a rental. They were even willing to drag the trailer out just so we could have a look at it. The trailer has a list of available amenities to make tour stay comfortable. A complete kitchenette with a stove, sink, and available refrigerator. 30 gallons of non-heated water. A locking cargo cage (perfect for firewood). It has a stereo, USB chargers, and lighting all powered by a solar rechargeable battery system. The interior was plenty comfortable for both my son and I. (He's 8 years old and not too big and I'm 6'1" / 190). The interior is well lit and warm. The small shelving and cabinets inside make for great storage of items. The tires & wheels are more than off-road capable. The trailer is high grade construction and extremely durable and sturdy. This is not some cheaply made gimmick trailer. The little tear drop is a real conversation starter and we had at least half a dozen people approach us about the rental. Things to consider or some "now I know for next time's": Disconnect the trailer from your tow vehicle as the electrical system will draw off the battery overnight. The kitchen is kind of tall so if you're a shorty then a step ladder may be a good plan. We had a good rain so our cage of firewood needed to dry. We should've laid a tarp over it once we arrived or just bought bagged wood. The ARB refrigerator was reasonably effective. Don't use the small void outside the basket though. Even though it seems handy it failed to keep our meat cold there and it all went bad. All the food in the basket mesh area was good though. We will absolutely rent here again. It was a wonderful trip and the trailer contributed considerably to our comfort and overall enjoyment.

It was beyond handy to be able to roll up to a campsite, spend 5 minutes unhooking & setting up, taking the car into town, and returning back to a comfy bed ready to go, and great kitchen setup for cooking. Taking off in the morning was equally easy. My partner is pretty tall (6'4"), and he fit comfortably in the trailer. The sturdy wheel wells were handy for putting out shoes or drying dishes. The wide and tall tires kept the drive smooth. The kitchen was very functional, and made easier when standing on the stool, since it's pretty tall. Appreciated the pass-through and lighting. We didn't do much off-roading, but did need to park up some rocky roads around Big Sur, and the trailer handled it like a champ. We only used the sink a couple of times, but it worked well. We had some problems with the fridge, but the team was very responsive and resolved our issues as much as they could. We'll definitely want to use Off The Grid again (if we don't end up buying our own dream trailer like this one). Thanks!

Reading the reviews with time and waiting we didn't have to deal wait that as the first group out…read more For the money you kinda expect a better experience and a bit of a nicer pro shop, food, etc. No direction was given it was check in and see you later. The course is very challenging, narrow, long, and unforgiving out of bounds. The greens were in good shape and very fast. To be honest with a decent amount of good rain you would think the course would be dialed, but to be honest it was kind of rough. Tons on divot marks that never grew back, patchy approach areas, and just ok tee boxes. As with many other posters for the same price go to Moorpark or Rustic.

I played here yesterday, and I just had to come back here to Yelp to set the record straight,…read morebecause the current 2.5 star rating just doesn't feel like a fair representation of what this course truly has to offer. I've never played here before, but GolfNow was offering a nice discount, so I decided to take a chance on it despite the poor reviews and low star rating, and I was pleasantly surprised by how far it exceeded my very low expectations. Here's what you can expect if you decide to play here: Pre-Round: - Quality warm-up/practice areas. At the range you're hitting decent quality balls, off real grass (not mats) out into a lush grassy range with nicely visible yardage targets. - Putting practice is on a tight, fast green that's well maintained. Only critique here was there weren't many holes to aim to... I counted maybe 4-5 total, which is not much. - Clubhouse was a lovely Spanish style building, with clean bathrooms, nice pro shop with friendly staff, and a cafe/food window set next to a nice outdoor patio eating area. The Golf: - Walking is not permitted (for pacing reasons, I assume) but the electric golf carts are HIGH-QUALITY, not beat up, cheap public course shame trains. They each have full color screens with GPS enabled course maps, providing you with hole layouts and yardages. They are stocked with complimentary bottled water, towels, and tees. Before you even swing a club, this feels like a premium experience. - The course conditions were beautiful. They're not perfect... you're not playing Augusta National here, but it was well above average for a public course. Tee boxes were level, green, weed free and well maintained. If you're used to playing public courses where you have to dance a two-step around the tee box for 2 minutes trying to find a level spot to hit from, you'll feel spoiled by the beautiful tee boxes. -Fairways are tight, a bit hard (you're in desert terrain) and very green. Didn't see a lot of dead grass out there, but then again it did rain recently. -The first cut rough is pretty well maintained, with some weeds around the edges, but for the most part very playable. -Bunkers has a few large rocks in them here and there, but were pretty fluffy and soft for the most part. One bunker I landed in was so soft, my ball plugged into the sand a good inch or two. -The course design is really interesting and unique, and WILL BE A CHALLENGE for most weekend golfers. You need to be accurate off the tees and have a decent approach game. If not, bring a lot of balls because the desert OB areas are cruel and will mercilessly collect your entire last order of golf balls off Amazon. - The pace of play was actually great. We never felt rushed and never felt like we waited more than a few minutes for the group ahead to finish. We played on Sunday, teeing off just before noon, so you'd expect it to be busy, but it was pleasantly un-crowded. -I appreciated the little details that this course has paid attention to, like areas around the tee boxes and beside cart paths that often have beautiful hard-scape features, like rocks or pavers, which is a classy touch. Other on-course amenities: - Ball washers were regularly placed throughout the course - At least one set of bathrooms was out on the course (thank you very much). - Beverage carts came around at least twice to check on us and offer us food during the round... another premium that you don't get on cheap public courses. One STRANGE experience: We finished our round around 4:30PM and when we rolled in toward the clubhouse, the place was an absolute ghost town. Not a soul was in sight. Pro shops was dark, locked up and closed. Food service window was closed, security cage pulled over the window. There were no human beings anywhere when I pulled my cart up to the cart return--- just felt odd that nobody was around. Other than that, Angeles National served up a great day of quality golf with premium amenities. It's not cheap, but it's also not as expensive as you might expect for a high quality course. With our GolfNow "HotDeal" it was around $120 and I consider it a steal at that price. If that price tag is a stretch, then reward yourself with a round here once in a while and enjoy the incredible mountain views, picturesque desert, and course conditions that far exceed expectations of a public course.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had with a bike shop…read more 2 Peaks Bikes advertised and photographed a 2025 bib but shipped me the older 2024 version instead. The difference is obvious, and I provided clear photo comparisons. Staff admitted by phone that the wrong item was sent. Despite acknowledging their mistake, they refused to accept a return and attempted to hide behind a final sale policy. They then asked me to pay additional money to receive the correct item that should have been sent in the first place. A final sale policy does not excuse misrepresentation. When a business sends an item that is materially different from what was advertised, that is the business's error, not the customer's. Blaming the buyer while admitting fault is unacceptable and unprofessional. Rather than taking responsibility, this shop chose to argue, deflect, and shift the cost of their mistake onto the customer. I will be disputing the charge and sharing this experience publicly so others are aware. I would strongly recommend shopping elsewhere if you value honesty and accountability.
