View from Hole #1
Dante C.

I had played the course years ago. Watching YouTube, I discovered that the course had changed the order of the holes. The new #1 is the old #17. The new #2 is the old #18. Although the 6:30 AM round was under $100, the course is still one of the best courses in the area. (Goose Creek is up there too.) Although not as lush green as Goose Creek, the fairways and greens were green without dry or bald patches. I do not recommend that beginners play this course. Most beginners will be unable to carry the canyon holes. I had a tough round after shooting par on holes 1 and 2. The sand is real sand, fluffy and smooth. Many players before us left giant footprints in the sand without raking them. If you hit in a bunker, try not to let your wedge dig very deep in the sand. Pace of play was good, but the round still took about 5 hours, probably because of the difficulty of the course. There is ample parking outside, but you are not permitted to drive the carts out to the parking lot (or close to the greens, for that matter). I rated my experience 4/5 not because the course was lacking, but because my experience was not a 5/5. LOL If I had shot a better score and not lost so many balls, perhaps I would have experienced a 5/5.

Outstanding golf course. Extremely well maintained. Professional staff and very friendly. The course is difficult but designed really well. Golf carts have GPS and a nice comfortable interior. Highly recommended for golfers that want a great experience.

Oak Quarry didn't disappoint. The course was beautiful, especially after the amount of rain we received the couple days before. We were worried about the water and potential floods on the course but the crew made it seem as if it never rained! We played in the Lawd Golf Tournament. First time. It'd be fun to do it again! Organization was great, we started on time, food and drinks were bottomless and delicious! We shotgun started and had a ton of fun! On a regular day that wasn't a tournament, however, I still would not pay the typical $100 to $200 price per round. HV is just as nice and challenging and it's never more than $110 on a non-holiday weekend. Add a quality turn that golfers can grab and go or buy a cigar. Perk up the experience if ur going to ask for that green fee to play! It is beautiful, but besides the signature hole on 16, ur left making ur own experience what it is until the 18th. Overall id love to play here again, but not for those green fees!

The beautiful Oak Quarry golf course is in excellent condition. The customer service and the food server are welcoming and efficient. The hamburger is delicious! A++

The views are so nice. It was peaceful. We came on a weekday so there was no waiting. Great experience.

A group of 7 golfers celebrating two birthdays. Sunday morning tee times at 125 a pop. Booking through their app was pretty clutch. They use dynamic pricing so be mindful that tee time prices can change and fluctuate throughout the week based on demand. The same round on the weekend can be found for almost half the price so just be mindful of that. Overall, a great course that is somehow still in good conditions in the dead of summer. Lots of unique holes and from a visual standpoint one of the more unique courses in the area. Both birthday fellas said they would come back, which is always a good sign. For what it's worth and the price of weekend tee times in the surrounding area, we will be back.

Don't come play, waste your money Very bad condition people are so slow No Marshal come to check. Specially weekend definitely not worth $200

I will not be playing here again. We had a six-hour round and were waiting on every tee box. Whoever thought it was a good idea to allow an employee to insert himself and his group between the 11:05 and 11:12 tee times on a busy weekend should seriously reconsider that decision. Leon and Steve should be embarrassed by how this course is being run. On top of that, it's hard to take seriously being told the range has been closed for three months while also being over 25 minutes behind pace. Go somewhere else!

I love this place. Absolutely one of the more unique courses in the LA area. However for the love of god, please give some effort to the range and the balls. When the price tag on the weekend floats around $150 I think there's a slight expectation... however the course is always epic.

Our wine glasses remained full and my mom commented so many times on the level of customer service. I'm convincing her now to become a member on their kindness alone. It was a lovely brunch and we ended up sitting at the pool where the girls filled our water pitchers and often check on us. Thank you for the memorable day!

The day started off frustrating…read morewhen staff kept calling our group about supposedly hitting something, even after the confusion had already been cleared up. Instead of moving on professionally, it felt like they continued to hover over the situation and made us feel uncomfortable for the rest of the round. Customer service should make players feel welcomed, not singled out. The course conditions also weren't enjoyable. The greens were ridiculously fast to the point they were nearly impossible to putt on -- it honestly felt like they had just been stamped without considering playability. On top of that, staff members were constantly watching our group after someone complained we were "playing too slow," even though there were two senior groups ahead of us holding up the pace the entire day. It made the atmosphere stressful instead of relaxing, which is the opposite of what a round of golf should feel like. I wouldn't rush back after this experience. Later: Additionally, I received a voicemail from a staff member claiming to be a manager regarding alleged damages, despite the situation already being addressed before we left the course. Multiple staff members had already checked around our bags and continued monitoring our group throughout the round, particularly while we were on the greens. As someone who is still learning the game and does not consider myself an experienced golfer, the constant attention made me feel extremely uncomfortable and singled out. What concerned me most was that staff members looked into my cart and personal belongings without any communication or explanation while I was sitting inside. I understand the importance of protecting the course and handling concerns professionally, but the approach taken during this situation felt excessive and unnecessary. I want to make it clear that I had positive interactions with the front desk staff and the golf cart staff, who were both friendly and professional. However, the overall experience was overshadowed by how our group was treated. I do not feel the experience justified the $80 paid for the round. Between the unusually difficult greens, random rocks throughout the course, and feeling constantly watched, the day became more stressful than enjoyable. Unfortunately, it left me with the impression that younger golfers were being unfairly judged compared to other groups on the course.

We were greeted by energetic staff who asked us which package we would take. Naturally the 24 hole golf is included and decided on the escape room option. There are two options, one alien themed and the other pirate themed. We went with the Alien 51 themed one since the pirate one was in use. After a short video we had a 10 minute time limit to solve the puzzle. It's quite straight forward but quite a thinker at times. We were able to solve it with little time to spare. Me and my friend had a great time figuring it out and will gladly return to see the other offering down the line. Onto the main course, the mini golf! The courses are laid out in a way that guides you along each hour in order. Each course has its own theme ranging from a Dia de Los Muertos themed one to one with the great wall of China serving as a ramp. It was definitely a vibe and we had a blast. Some holes scale up in difficulty while others are quite straight forward. Overall this was a great time and excellent way to spend time together with a friend.

Not my favorite Top Golf location. The one in Montebello is waaaaayyyy better!…read more Service was 4/10 - every single staff there either were exhausted from a long day of work or maybe just all having a bad day. They weren't rude - just didn't look happy working there. Not one person even made any attempts to try to pretend to act friendly. The vibe felt different than other Top Golf locations. Not sure if it could be the lack of service or maybe it was the area, but aside from the nice, breezy weather, the night felt off. Food? Another 4/10. We ordered a few shareable platters but the chicken and mac & cheese bites were cold and hard. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be coming back.

Very disappointed with my experience at this Topgolf location…read more We arrived around 9 AM and this was not our first visit. A server started explaining how everything worked, and I told her directly that we had already been here multiple times and did not need the introduction. One thing that already made us uncomfortable from the beginning was how some servers constantly stand around the table waiting for tips. The atmosphere felt very pressured and uncomfortable instead of relaxed and welcoming. Later, I briefly used a vape in the outdoor second-floor area. There were no visible signs stating that vaping was prohibited there, and after being reminded, I stopped immediately. The real issue was how management handled the situation afterward. Assistant Manager Chelsea approached us in a confrontational manner and accused me of "talking to her employees like that," even though I never used offensive language or disrespected anyone. We were trying to file a complaint regarding Chelsea's behavior, but manager Bryan was extremely rude from the beginning. We were not yelling or causing any problems, yet he immediately told us to leave instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally. I later went to the front desk simply asking for Bryan's business card and the names of the employees involved for complaint purposes. Instead of professionally providing the information, Bryan threatened to call security and have me removed from the property. As we were leaving, Bryan also aggressively questioned whether I had paid the bill while holding the bill folder in his hand, even though I had already paid through the app. His attitude felt intimidating and completely unnecessary. What made the situation even worse was that my 10-year-old child was present during this entire incident and was emotionally affected by the aggressive behavior and threats from management. No family should have to experience that during what was supposed to be a normal outing. This was extremely unprofessional behavior from management. Managers are supposed to de-escalate situations and help customers, not threaten customers for requesting complaint information. A formal complaint has already been submitted to Topgolf corporate regarding Bryan, Chelsea, and the handling of this situation.
