My first lesson with Okky was in September 2024 - there were quite a few changes (not drastic) but fundamental changes needed. The first lesson tremendously helped me and at the same time trying to get used to the change. At times, it seems that you wanted to revert to the way you used to - but I pulled that temptation away and remind myself to be patient with this change and to give it a chance. In May 2025, I went for my 2nd lesson - he continued to reinforced the initial lesson that I had. Then in January 2026, I went for my 3rd lesson to improve my Driving of the ball. We began with Iron shots practice, he reinforced the same lesson I had before. He added few more concepts that I continued to implement during practice. Seems that 3rd lesson is a charm and with a little patience applying these concepts seems to get somewhat easier! With these 3 lessons it paid off! I'd like to share that Last Monday 03-02, I broke 80 at Goosecreek Golf Course. Thank You Okky for your time and drills/concepts you had ingrained in me and making me understand the mechanics. She was very attentive and helpful. She was quick to respond when I had questions and quick to address any challenges that arose with our outside vendors. Very quickly after working with Priscilla I realized she would not respond to all of my text messages trying to confirm details to my wedding or questions my vendors wanted to ask. This continued until I confronted her for her to reply and say she just coordinates the day of the wedding and does not do "chores" for guests. She was very unpleasant to deal with from this day moving forward so if you get on her bad side she will be unpleasant to deal with and have a snarky attitude, although I tried to look passed that. Priscilla also let me know she would not be at my wedding the day of abruptly. She has no customer service for someone whose job is exactly that. My husband and I were on a budget and only had 80 guests; we wanted to put 250 towards the bar (which Priscilla advised we can do) and then have guests pay out of pocket because we didn't want to host an open bar. When we proposed this amount to Priscilla she basically told me I wasn't allowed to put 250 because it wasn't enough considering most of my guests did not drink we felt it was fair enough. The day of my wedding, Priscilla (unbeknownst to me at the time) had my florist place the florals where she wanted them and then called the photographer I paid for to go and take pictures of the venue before any guests arrived so that she can post them for her social media account in hopes to "sell" the venue. My wedding was delayed because the florals were not at the ceremony but instead inside where she selfishly wanted them. I also never got to take photos with my bridesmaids and in the bridal room because of Priscilla's selfish requests she made with OUR photographer that we paid for. I was able to also confirm this with my photographer. On top of that, Majority of my guests who were my bridal party did not get appetizers that my husband and I paid for per person and her reasoning is because my guests were not "seated" which was highly disappointing and if that was the case it should've been disclosed in the contract that she breached. The AC was off and it was very hot in the venue for a good amount of my event time, for most of the night my guests had to walk outside to get some air. The power also went out in the middle of the wedding for at least 20-30 mins which made my dj and Photo Booth go out (both things I paid for) Priscilla's excuse was "your dj's amps" made it go out. She knew we had a dj coming and a Photo Booth area, the venue clearly cannot handle the amount of power it takes to have a wedding. Now she is only offering to have a meeting with the Manager. Priscilla is advising I've been more than compensated and will not offer any compensation for any of this. I also advised Priscilla not to contact my photographer because she will not be sending her any photos we paid for. My photographer is advising Priscilla kepps calling her and texting her behind my back trying to disregard what I said. She is trying to obtain photos that she did NOT pay for. I took this up with the manager Mike and he wasn't any help either. Look elsewhere if you can instead of booking this venue, if you do I hope you have a better experience than I did.
