We organized my elderly brother-in-law's 80th birthday party, and it truly turned out to be a beautiful and memorable experience from beginning to end. On the day of the event, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their attentiveness and kindness did not go unnoticed and made all of our guests feel welcomed and cared for. I've always enjoyed playing the back 9 at this course, so I was excited to finally book a full 18-hole round on 10/19/25-especially since tee times fill up fast. Unfortunately, the experience was soured by the Marshall on duty that day. One member of our group was newer to golf and playing at a slightly slower pace, but instead of showing patience or professionalism, the Marshall was unnecessarily rude and told us to hurry up-even though there was no real cause for concern. His attitude felt targeted and disruptive, throwing off our rhythm and enjoyment. For a group paying over $268, we expected a more welcoming and respectful environment. I've played at many courses across different price points and have never felt as frustrated as I did during the first 9 holes here. At this point, I'm not sure I'll return for the full course again. If anything, I'll stick to the back 9-it's far more enjoyable and better managed. read more

Course is actually mostly in good shape and has great views but ownership needs to be fired and replaced, investments need to be made to make it a much better experience, and the layout and design is odd and underwhelming. They don't even get the basics right. Will start with that. No water jugs on the course, no beverage carts on an 85° day, and no coolers on the carts. We asked for a cooler and they only had 1, we had 4 carts with 8 people over 2 tee times. That's straight up ridiculous, they need to be on every cart and they are on none. The bathrooms were out of paper towels, like 5 dispensers and every one of them was empty, wtf. The rental clubs are literally children's clubs, like a 40 year old starter set for an 8 year old they are so tiny, buy good rentals for your guests traveling in man, very basic. The carts are the worst, old and beat up with no digital screens to help navigate the course or keep people on pace. Speaking of that, it took 5 hours and 15 minutes for a round, wtf! No Marshalls telling anyone to pick up the pace at all. Soooo slooooww, waiting at literally every hole. There are blind tee shots on so many holes so you never know if you're hitting up on someone or about to get hit by the people behind you, also a reason to have digital screens to know where carts are located when there's blind spots. Weird course layout with trees in the middle of fairways and also so many long branches hanging over fairways that should be cut down or at least trimmed back, perfect tee shots end up obstructed on many holes, especially on the blind shots where you can't see beyond 200 yards. No real true landing spots on most fairways, example you can't hit left side of fairway because of trees obstructing the fairway but the fairway is slanted steeply to the right so if you go down the middle it cascades into the right rough into other trees or sand traps. I play challenging mountain courses all the time, but they're designed with true ways to play the hole, many holes just seemed thrown together and not super playable with a normal solid tee shot, and very few flat lies to play from. Cool to penalize bad shots but should mostly reward good shots. Maybe also why the course plays so slow. Lastly green side sand traps needed fresh sand, they were often dry and crusty and unplayable. read more

Amazing golf course! I believed it's managed by LAcounty. Went in late afternoon. Plenty of parking. Rangers are professional, and strict but seem cool. Course loops back in a few places, but it still feels wide open so you barely notice it. I like the design. I like the elevation changes. Water hazards and a gorge where you can take a risky shot. Scenery is amazing. Greens were smooth. Golf cart was in good shape and clean. Overall good experience here, will come back for sure. read more

I highly recommend this venue for your next event. We had our company holiday party there on Friday, December 12, 2025. Everything was great, from the planning to the follow up and the night of the event. Alyssa Guerra was very professional and helpful with planning our event and answering all of our questions, some even last minute. She was understanding of our late changes and accommodated us with everything we needed. During the setup and the event, Andrew was extremely helpful, patient and responsiveness. He helped us with all of the small details that helped our event be successful. What a kind man! We felt lucky to have him there that evening. I have received a lot of great feedback from our employees as to how wonderful the evening was and how much they enjoyed Mountain Meadows. We will definitely be back, if they let us! :-) read more

Mountain Meadows was one of the most beautiful/versatile venues that my fiancé and I visited. We heard amazing things about this venue from our family and friends that had previously tied the knot about 8+ years back. When we visited this venue/golf course during their fall wedding show, we both fell in love with the new look of the ceremony and reception site. Not only was the grass so green and lush, the ceremony site looked perfect with the gorgeous outdoor pergola, and the indoor reception area was so beautiful and spacious. My fiancé and I knew, we had to lock it in for our big day. The venue surprised us with being almost all inclusive and had plenty of options of preferred vendors, who were also amazing to speak with. We can't thank Alyssa enough for all of the encouragement, support, and reassurance from the date of booking leading up to our big day. The entire event staff the day and night of our wedding were great. So friendly, so helpful, so kind and overall welcoming. We couldn't imagine our wedding day being any other way nor in any other location. Oh, and we can't forget... the food was DELICIOUS!! If we could do it again, WE WOULD! The course is in good shape. The greens were recovering form being plugged but still good. The sides are groomed with a pretty good first cut. Very hilly but beautiful. I heard from some golfers I had a drink with that playing the back in the morning has issues as they cut the course back there in the morning. The fairways are always left or right lean unless you hit it right up the middle. Good course for 15 handicap or less. Killer scores for 8 and under. Excellent patio and club. This is a great course. Great layout, well maintained. I play here once a month or so, but that may change after today's experience. Played with my friend today 320pm tee time, and we had 2 different carts die on us. How does that happen? Maintenance guy said it's been happening a lot apparently, he said a lot of carts need constant maintenance and need to be replaced, but management refuses. 1st cart started dying on the 7th hole. Couldn't make it up and hills, and this course is all hills. We had to basically push it on holes 8 and 9 and barely made it to the turn. Swapped for another cart and right before the green on hole 10 I the cart completely locked up and wouldn't move. We had to waive the group ahead of us up so we didn't slow down play on an already slow course. I had to walk all the at back to the clubhouse to grab a 3rd cart. Absolutely ridiculous. I asked the kid in the clubhouse if they were gonna do anything for the huge inconvenience this all caused. He took my number and said he would put it on the managers desk, but I'm guess it's gonna go right in the trash can and I'll never hear from him. If they do decide to rectify this and make it right I will definitely come back and amend this review, but we'll see read more

Beautiful course and layout. Mostly in great shape considering how many golfers I see not give a crap about the condition they leave the course. For the volume of people coming through there and how busy they are I feel the pro shop always tries their best to accommodate everyone the best they can. I will say to the accusation of staff stealing and reselling left behind items, I have left stuff and had it returned no issues and I've seen the lost and found and there's too many items of value in there for staff to be "flipping" items. read more

Worst golf course management I've ever seen had a 650 tee time today got there at 630 and I kid you not there was a line of about 20 golf carts lined up to play the back nine the guy in the pro shop said they allow walk ups so why even have a tee time he said to reserve your spot doesn't make any sense and wondering what would happen to the first couple tee times playing the 18 firt and last time I will ever try and play there got a refund never again read more

This is one of the best venues to have an outdoor wedding ceremony and an indoor reception all at one location. My fiancé and I fell in love with the beautiful outdoor pergola and the surrounding lush greenery and we knew instantly that this is where we wanted to get married. The indoor reception area is also a gorgeous space to decorate and make your own. The venue also provided plenty of options for table linens, napkins, chairs, etc. and an awesome vendor list to assist in selecting our photographer, DJ and florist. Oh, and the Event staff is absolutely the best! From beginning to end they were helpful in every way possible. Gaby was always more than happy to answer all of my questions and Alyssa was great at reassuring us that our ceremony would run smoothly and that all we had to do was enjoy OUR day. read more

I'm poly-homerous and this is one of my home courses. I've played here a dozen times and the greens/fairways are always well-maintained, the bunkers have fluffy sand, and the clubhouse food's pretty good. However, I feel like I've earned a free round with all the ProV1's I've launched into the hillsides. Speaking of hillsides, the mountain views are magnificent! With golf being anything but relaxing (at least my game), the scenery more than makes up for those triple bogey, 3-putt woes. read more

First time golfing here in more than 10 years. Really challenging course with some narrow fairways and numerous elevation changes. Greens and fairways are also really well maintained. Several holes on the course also have some decent views of the San Gabriel mountains. I got a tee time on Saturday at 5:00pm. $34 includes cart, so that isn't too bad. Just beware, the guy at the pro shop said they don't accept cash. They overbooked so our group didn't tee off until 5:10. We were also stuck behind a group of Six!, so we skipped the 1st hole and went to the 2nd. We only finished 14 holes and had to roll back in around 8:30pm because it was too dark. They might be short staffed during the Covid-19 pandemic, but they need someone to go around and collect the trash. There were numerous trash cans that were overflowing with bottles and cans and trash. Overall, it was a decent round of golf. I see several other reviews that say the pace of play is really slow, so if you don't have any patience, this course is probably not for you. read more

Once a year, I get together with some old friends from high school around Thanksgiving to play our annual "tournament" of golf. Since it has been a good 25+ years since high school, it is fair to say that the four of us don't play golf nearly as much as we used to... so this is a special time for us to reconnect, to spend a few hours together reminiscing and remembering and reminding one another about simpler times in our respective lives. That this year's tourney was held at Mountain Meadows is little more than happenstance; as I just noted, none of us rarely have time between jobs and families to (paraphrasing Mark Twain) "ruin a good walk" playing golf. But all the same, we found ourselves here in the hills above San Dimas with the sun coming up over a beautiful winter day for an 8:00 tee time. We started off by hitting a bucket of balls at the range. The mats were in good shape, and there were plenty of them, despite the growing group of fellow linksmen awaiting their turn at 18. As our tee-time approached, we paid our fees, loaded our carts, and headed off to our first stop of the day. The marshal was a kind old gent, even volunteered to take our photo to document our effort. ... And then we embarrassed ourselves with four crap tee shots right in front of the guy. As we went off into the wilderness to look for our balls, he was quick to drive out and tell us to drop and keep on playing. All that to say, they kept us honest and kept things moving-- not a bad thing when you're behind a slow foursome. Still, our games improved... like riding a bike, enough of it comes back to you quick enough to be somewhat respectable. The course is long in places, with plenty of holes over 400 yards, a few challenging dog legs, and plenty of traps and hazards to keep you honest. Due to recent rains, the course was downright swampy in places, and several sections were yellow-taped off from carts and foot traffic. We played winter rules with a liberal but equal application of drops and unscored kicks to improve an impossible lie here and there, and everyone utilized their Mulligan-per-nine on this course. Twice. Still, with the backdrop of the mountains dusted with snow, a cloudless blue sky, and good friends, it was a great day playing 18. I even won the thing for the first time in ten years, and that's saying something considering I also misplaced a P-wedge somewhere on the course. Oh well, hopefully someone had a good come-up with that one. After our round, we ducked into the restaurant for lunch, and as golf course food goes, this place was really pretty good. Service was excellent, and though it was a limited "American" menu of burgers, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers, there was a little extra panache to the choices. As we continued the conversation and laughed about old times, we looked up to discover that we were the only table left in the place... and by "only table left," I mean that literally-- staff had systematically REMOVED all the other tables and chairs in the dining room to prepare for a private party. We paid our tab and took our cue to split. Maybe I don't spend a lot of Saturdays driving around in golf carts anymore, but I have to say this was a fun place to play 18. Don't know when I'll be back again, but would definitely consider checking this place out again in the future. read more

I was surprised by the quality of the course. It was well maintained even during the drought. The bunkers sand is soft and well graded. The greens were smooth and fast. It's a mountain course and has its challenges. The club house was upgraded and has good choice of draft beers and food. read more

My fiance and I visited the bar and grill for the first time on August 3rd at about 3pm. We patiently sat at a table to about 20 / 30 minutes before we were given water by Miguel / Bartender/ Host. He never offered us a menu. Again, we waited patiently for a menu. During our wait, a menu was never offered. At about 3:40 pm., I got up from the table and went to bar to ask Miguel for a menu. I asked: "May I have two menus please?" He replied: "I didn't think you wanted anything." We were finally able to order our food. Received our food 1 hour later from the time we entered the restaurant. During the 40 minutes of patiently waiting to be properly attended, Miguel was having a personal conversations with one other customer. Miguel was not se serving / attending. I ordered a steak sandwich. Half of the sandwich was bristle and fat, which had to be disposed of. I will not recommend the bar and grill to anyone. read more

This is my local course but there are so many problem that's ruin the experience. Starting off the pace of play is horrible, last round I played took 6 hours because there were 2 groups that were wasted and would not let anyone play through, the marshal went the way of the group then came back to the club house shortly after and did nothing. 2nd round I played was today, I got paired with a group and we were moving fine but every hole we were the group ahead of us was barley teeing on and it would end up waiting 4 minutes just to barley start the hole, I ended up leaving after the 11th hole. The round started at 12:20 and by 3:30 I just called it quits. I understand it's a Saturday but it's still no excuse, I believe mountain meadows don't have any marshals. Also this every holes tee boxes are all uneven and messed up I'd rather tee off on a range mat then hit off those horrible tee boxes. I do enjoy the course design but other than that that's where it ends. read more

To start off it's a great course and long drives!! Definitely somewhere to play. My only problem is that they had a college tournament going on in the weekend. Well don't schedule people behind the college tournament kids. They're playing to win and other people are playing to enjoy themselves. Our tee time was 45 mins late. Then got asked to not tee off till they're totally off the hole. Like it's a 500yrd par 5. Yeah we're going to hit them from the tee box. More time wasted!! Also they were playing a 5 some. Ended up leaving after 9. Moral of the story. Don't schedule people behind a tournament you don't know how long they'll take. I'll definitely play there again but I'm be sure to check if there is anything going on before hand. I don't play a lot but when I do I want to enjoy the day and just swing it. 3.5-4 stars Have unknowingly passed by Mountain Meadows Golf Course (on the way to the Pomona Fairplex) for forever and never knew there was a golf course here. "Tucked" into the side of the road, that it not super noticeable unless you were looking for the entrance. My workplace had an event here last Friday and it was a nicer venue that I had imagined. I can certainly envision weddings being held in the event room and the ceremony on the patio right outside. Both the event room and the lawn outside was rectangular-shaped. Perfect. Some other golf course venues have irregularly shaped event rooms and they have not been pleasant experiences for either the guests or the staff - horrible views of the wedding party (L-shaped, walls, or columns), tight spaces (tables to tables, chairs back-to-back), even staff spilling drinks on guests because of the tight spaces. There were also TVs all around the event room. All looks great on the outside, but the restroom area would be better if they were remodeled. There's a sewage-type of damp smell. Not very elegant - also not very well-lit. However, I do like that the restrooms were "hidden" behind the main wall and had double entrances. The food was okay, nothing excellent but it was okay. There were a few things that we had to remind them about, but there usually was someone around that we could ask for or remind them. Overall, plenty of parking on a Friday morning, but I cannot imagine how it would be on a weekend as the parking lot is shared with golfers - which is a bit on the smaller end. read more

I went to a wedding reception here and it was disastrous. The patio and dining room did not accommodate the number of people there. Perhaps a more honest disclosure about the ability to accommodate a wedding of that size would have been called for. The tables were so close together the servers had a difficult time delivering food. The rectangular flat layout made it impossible to see the center of the venue and hence the bride and groom. The sound system was not present or not functioning and the speeches were not heard by anyone at my table. The bride and groom could not negotiate the tables so greeting them was not possible as was clearly planned. My vegetarian pasta was penne with tasteless tomato sauce and served cold. And that was after 4 bites of plain lettuce. The table decorations were beautiful and the florist should be congratulated. I hope the bride and groom were so happy they didn't notice. read more
