My wife and I had our wedding recently. Mandy, Doris, Gabby, and team from Amormagic did an amazing job! It has been a year-long journey and we couldn't have done it without their expertise. We hired them to design, plan, (include communicating with vendors), and event day coordination. We only had to prepare for the first dance and a few other things that are personal, and the rest were taken care of. They made it very easy for us, and we highly recommend them if you are planning for a wedding, cheers!

My husband and I had a lovely and memorable wedding on the big day of our lives, which was made possible by Mandy's dedication and contribution to our wedding. Mandy is very passionate about making every bride-to-be's dream wedding come true. We wanted our wedding to have a combined theme of nature and vintage, with lavender and white as our main colors. Mandy was able to design our wedding just the way we wanted, with everything reasonably within our budget. The run down of our wedding day went very smoothly, so my husband and I were able to enjoy the day without having to worry about anything. I strongly recommend Mandy as your wedding planner if you are looking for someone who is dedicated in making your dream wedding come true!

We had a 130 person wedding…read morein my parents backyard, which meant we had to hire every single individual vendor (it was a LOT of different ones) and they all had to work together to execute a flip during our cocktail hour from the ceremony to the reception because it was on the same lawn. Cindy's help was immeasurable in the last couple of months of planning when it really came down to final decisions, minor details, and logistics, all which I felt too overwhelmed to do while I was working full time. Cindy took the bull by the horns and handled all of this leading up to the big day both efficiently and effectively. She was both my advocate and my sounding board. I often forgot that she is running a whole business with multiple clients at the same time because of how much time, attention, and care she gave me. I felt like I was her only client at times, which I know of course was not true. On the day of the wedding there were so many moving parts. It rained unexpectedly so her staff helped make sure I stayed dry as much as possible while also caring for our guests. She and her staff made sure I always had a drink in my hand after making sure to note my preference before hand. I noticed that one of her staff members was always near us as the bride and groom in case we needed anything at all. They all managed the flip with the dozens of other vendor staff members like absolute bosses. The day was so perfect and magical and went off without a hitch. I know that was in large part because of Cindy and her staff working so diligently behind the scenes. I know there was a ton of things they did leading up to and on that day to make sure it ran smoothly that went unnoticed. What was noticed was how hard they were working all day and into the night. All of the administrative and logistical help and work was truly incredible, and didn't end after the day was over even as Cindy helped us navigate what vendors stayed longer and for how long, who had been tipped and who hadn't, and helped us coordinate with vendors who had left stuff at the house or accidentally taken some of our things with them. We could not have pulled this off without Cindy and her staff. She really made the day so seamless and beautiful for us. I would recommend her to anyone who asked. I also consider her a good friend now, too :)

The Mad Love team took such incredible care of us throughout our entire wedding planning process…read more Cindy was so warm during our first call with her, and it really set the tone for all of our future interactions with the rest of her team! Shasele was our point of contact, and she was kind, thorough, and patient with us as we worked through all of our requirements and asked her a million different questions about the process. She also made sure to provide regular checklists of items to make sure we stayed on track, while also not putting too much pressure on us! Claire handled putting together a gorgeous design brief based on inspiration photos we gathered, which definitely helped as we went through the process of selecting and working with vendors--all of whom were also incredible! An important thing I also want to mention is that I had a sudden health issue flare up partway through our venue search, which set things back by a year. The team was incredibly understanding and checked in periodically while offering well wishes until I was ready to return to planning, and I deeply appreciate how patient they all were during such a difficult time. Overall we couldn't not have asked for a better planning team to work with, and we're so incredibly grateful to Mad Love Events for making our special day so perfect!

At one point we tried to design our own wedding invitations and quickly realized we were in over our heads. Candace asked if we were on schedule to send them out and when we told her we weren't... she offered to help. We ended up hiring her to do the invitations too and they turned out beautifully. And Katherine if you see this sorry for glitter bombing you with our wedding invitations. On the wedding day itself everything was hectic, as you'd expect. But Candace and her team handled everything and kept the day running smoothly. One small gesture that really stood out was when her team brought my wife and me snacks during cocktail hour since we hadn't had a chance to eat all day. That level of care meant a lot to us. I actually reached out to Candace again recently to recreate my wife's wedding bouquet for our 10 year anniversary, which reminded me that I never wrote a review. Despite COVID, she was able to teach us safely, outdoors and with masks, and taught us how to dance in a way where we could use the same knowledge in the future. Instead of going straight into choreography for our wedding song, she taught us some moves that later we would be able to put together into the full song. To be honest I was very hesitant and a bit stressed about learning a dance for the wedding, but she gave us the building blocks and showed through her teaching the confidence I needed to dance on our special day. She knew our level of dance knowledge (which was basically zero) and she knows just what to look out for (ie. smile more, practice with wedding shoes) in order for brides to look their best on the big wedding day. She (and her husband David) are incredibly patient with their students, as they truly care about who they are working with. I truly am so thankful for such great teachers! Henry told us not to worry and that even though he already had 2 other events that day, he had a backup photobooth for my niece's Sweet 16! They squeezed us in and were very professional doing so. They were setup ontime and they even were gracious enough to allow every single person in line to take photos. They kept everything setup and extended the ending time with a smile. She kept us on track throughout the process, and when things got stressful for us closer to the date, she stepped in and took a lot off of our plate. I usually keep a to do list of everything that needs to get done in life to make sure nothing slips through the cracks, even if its not something that I need to do. I tend to keep that list even when I'm fairly confident the other person will complete that task. With Candice, I felt comfortable not keeping that list, and just trusting she would take care of everything, which she did. But just the fact that I was able to get comfortable enough with Candice easy on to not keep that list was such a huge relief. Normally when I go to a wedding, I can identify the planner, but I tend to not have a strong opinion about the planner. Many of our guests commented on how smoothly everything ran with Candice and her team. She made a uniquely positive impression on our guests.

Helen is responsive to emails and phone calls from beginning to end. She has her own staff and a top notch assistant, Chad. We combed through quite a few other planners and ultimately decided on Helen and Eighteen Place Cards. We too read the reviews and were not too sure how legitimate all of the 5 star ratings were, so we really gave Helen the 3rd degree, 10 months before the wedding date. Specifics: Helen checked in with us regarding every single detail from the venue [The Noor], ALL of our vendors, and remained on top of it all every step of the way. She was constantly going the extra mile at every turn and never once did she drop the ball, or fail at any of the tasks! We were demanding and we put a lot on her shoulders, but she proved to us she knew her job and performed extremely well. Helen and her team always responded with a 'can do attitude', while maintaining a professional demeanor. To say that we are grateful to have done business with Helen, would be a complete understatement. She and Chad are dedicated to getting the job done, no matter what. Everything came together perfectly as a result of her planning, execution and commitment.
