    Having Tina as our wedding planner was the best thing that we could've asked for. It's not a hyperbole to say that none of it would've have happened without her & her team. We found In The Clouds Events by chance when searching through listicles for a planner that could help guide us through every step of the wedding planning process. Since we were planning a LA wedding while being based in Singapore, we needed someone who was familiar with LA wedding venues, could recommend the vendors we needed, and ultimately manage the entire planning process. We chose Tina because from the beginning, she was organized, friendly, and most importantly, genuinely invested in helping us realize our wedding vision. We had met with a number of other planners and many made us feel like they were trying to push their own agenda and thus did not make us feel heard. Over the course of 10 months, Tina guided us through all the various planning stages (despite the enormous time zone differences!), provided a great selection of vendors, and answered the countless questions we threw her way. She kept us on track both in terms of timeline as well as budget, and regularly sent recap emails to make sure we were updated on progress and clear on the outstanding tasks that needed to be completed. While our original plan was to have an outdoors ceremony, it became clear during the week leading up to the wedding that we would need to shift things indoors due to heavy rain and unseasonably cold temperatures. Despite the last minute change, Tina coordinated with all our vendors to ensure the back-up plan was seamlessly executed such that it didn't feel like a back-up plan at all! We were so thankful that we could enjoy every moment of our wedding knowing that Tina was there to keep everything running smoothly. She is truly a gem and we can't recommend her enough!

    My wife and I are as Asian as it gets when it comes to expectations and standards...we accept nothing but perfection. Tina and her team are exactly that - Perfection. We had to switch our planner part way through our planning process, and we were so lucky to find Tina who honestly saved us in our time of need. She onboarded very quickly and helped us further develop our vision of an Asian fairytale wedding. Tina was always very timely and professional, and she made time for us whenever we needed it. She was very generous with letting us use her stuff when she could. Most importantly, on the day of she made sure things went smoothly despite all the chaos behind the scenes. We had 2 weddings - 1 for each family - and the difference of having Tina there at the 2nd was night and day. We were able to just enjoy the moment and see our vision come to life.     I (including my husband Michael) cannot thank Tina and the entire In The Clouds Events team enough. Once I got engaged, I immediately started looking for our wedding coordinator. This was early 2021- where the COVID pandemic still did not hold big events. Things fell through with a previous planner, but I am so glad it happened. It led me to Tina, and the rest is history. Our reception venue recommended her, and I immediately noticed why she was a preferred vendor. I am a rigidly-organized and detailed-oriented person - so once Tina and I got started - tons of fun and magic began! Some of the things she provided: productive in-person/virtual meetings, super-organized spreadsheets/checklists, timely reminders, responsive emails/texts and sound advice. I was so impressed! She even provided some of her own items and inventory to add beautiful touches to our decor. We also added several of her recommendations, such as DJ, photobooth, rentals, and bakery to our wonderful vendor team! Planning the biggest day of my life was very difficult and incredibly stressful, but working alongside Tina made the entire process very fun and enjoyable. I confided in her so much; where she was so understanding and focused the entire time. I am forever indebted to her & the entire team (Sidnee, Dandi, and Cindy) for making my wedding day a dream come true.

My husband and I wanted to plan something of a wedding celebration dinner, and we knew we needed some help because we live on the other side of the country and also none of our family and friends were available to provide much support. JM Events came recommended to me by my photographer who had been in the wedding industry for over a decade. I set up a call with Lilian and we went over my vision for what kind of event I was envisioning and she discussed what kinds of services JME could provide for our event and also shared that they had planned and coordinated similar type events in the recent past. After our call, I also had meetings with other event coordination companies and it was clear to me that JM Events would be the best fit for us as they seemed the most competent and professional. I also liked that JM Events was based nearby our venue. Two months ahead of the event, Alexis began working with us. We tossed around a lot of high-level ideas we were considering and Alexis provided insight on whether or not or how they would work within the constraints of our venue and timeline. Alexis and Lilian also had vendor recs at the ready at different price points whenever we needed them as well. Over time we narrowed down which ideas we wanted at our wedding and Alexis provided invaluable insight on wedding logistics and restaurant service ops that we should consider in our planning. She attended our venue walkthrough with us so that we could begin to visualize placement for different "stations" at our wedding and also served as our advocate with the various vendors we had hired. She also checked in with us and the vendors over increments in time so that we met all of our venue deadlines and to ensure that all of the vendors were in lockstep with what we were planning.  The week of the event, Alexis worked to make sure to send out event confirmations with all of our vendors so that each vendor was prepared to arrive on time and any accommodation our vendors needed were provided. This was so impressive that my make-up artist asked me where I had found Alexis! Alexis and Lillian were consummate professionals through and through, I felt supported the entire time and any question I had was met with a very considered response that only a very experienced events planning professional could provide.  Our wedding celebration was one of the best days of both my husband and my lives. We also received so many compliments on our event, like "best wedding ever" and "can I copy your entire wedding?" I was on cloud nine the whole night and in watching some of my friend's video footage I saw Alexis working in the background making sure that our timeline was executed exactly as planned.  I know certainly that without JME and Alexis, our night would not have went off as seamlessly as it did and I am so grateful for JME and their team. My (then) boyfriend and I got engaged in February 2021, and I always knew I'd want a slightly longer engagement, just to push things out so I'd have more time to decide on what I wanted and how I wanted it. From the start, however, we already knew we wanted to work with Lilian and her team. Given that I had more time, somewhat wanted the challenge of planning a wedding, and felt pretty prepared, we opted for the month-of services. Once we started working with Lilian, our wedding-planning life honestly became sooo much easier. I feel like we had a pretty good idea and plan for everything we needed, yet, Lilian still, easily, made things even better. There were so many things we didn't know we needed. She was so thorough, organized, and thoughtful and knowing she and her team would be by our side to finalize the details and (basically) walk us down the aisle, really put us at ease. Her communication was spot on - not just with us, but with our vendors, and with handling any (not unexpected) last minute changes. She was so easy to reach and communicate with, and was always so patient and efficient. She knew what we wanted, what we needed, and offered suggestions along the way. On our big day, her team was just as great - from the pre-wedding set up, making sure our bridal party had everything we needed, even helping us order boba - Lilian had everything all thought out. She checked in with us throughout the busy night, and helped wrap things up seamlessly. We truly couldn't imagine a more perfect day, and would not have had it any other way. She got in touch with Jenn, and we elected for her month-before planning package. What floored me was how gracious she was in keeping in touch for months before our wedding, just to get all the details right. It shows how caring she was in attending to all the small details we didn't even know were important. Her experience clearly showed through all the templates, agendas, and coordination she did with our wedding vendors. Our wedding went so beautifully that we gave Jenn a well-deserved shout-out during our toasts. She made sure any hiccups were handled professionally without us having to worry, and that all our wedding party knew what to do. That and after asking every one of my married friends what their #1 piece of advice would be, they all replied to hire a wedding planner. Luckily, we were able to meet Jennifer Huie who came highly recommended from one of the weddings we attended (my wife was a bridesmaid) and the way the wedding flowed from activity to activity was really smooth. Also a recommendation from our good friends didn't hurt. So we reached out to Jennifer and we all meet at a cafe and Jennifer was eager and ready to work. She asked the appropriate questions, the general vibe we wanted for our wedding, and gained a good perspective of who we were as a couple. Throughout the months, she was on top of everything as well as being always available to answer any questions and getting any requests we needed as we prepared for our wedding. Also, Jennifer nailed the venue we wanted which to this day, our guests tell us is the prettiest wedding venue they've ever seen. Well played Jenn. Now I thought Jennifer was on top of things pre-wedding because she had a beautiful laid out plan through Google Sheets and she had made sure all the vendors had come together as one to celebrate our special day. The amount of organization and attention to detail for something like this is not easy and she made it look effortless. Once we filled out what we needed to fill out like guest information (contact information, allergies, etc), table placements and all the other items, she was quick to look over what we had and provide any edits or advice on anything and everything. Pre-wedding Jennifer is a superstar. Wedding day Jennifer? Absolute beast. Every T is crossed, every I is dotted and with emphasis and enthusiasm. Our rehearsal went smooth and she was always receptive to hear what we wanted and as everything flowed, she could steer everything to make sure it did just that. Wedding day, the event couldn't have gone more perfectly. All those months of planning finally turned into the greatest night of our lives. Not just ours as the wedding couple, but our wedding party, our family and all our friends. Jennifer hasn't heard this yet but as she reads this review, all the family and friends could not get over how the day was just so seamless from each event to the next. We, the wedding couple never felt an ounce of stress. I'm sure Jenn shouldered that entire load but she never showed it and she was always able to give us updates for everything that was going on. But the job isn't easy, especially for an event like ours which had almost 200 guests. Anyone who is still reading this review should know I could go on and on and I wish I could. Not enough words can emphasize what Jennifer meant to our wedding. We obviously wanted her to join in on the festivities of open bar and open bar and open bar but she stayed late to make sure all our belongings were recovered and the entire venue was cleaned up and properly prepared for the next day's wedding that was taking place Sunday. Thank you Jennifer, from both of our families and our entire wedding party. Jonsen was always prompt in responding to all of my questions throughout the planning process, which made everything so smooth. We booked their ceremony package with Howard as our emcee, along with the reception package that included DJ, photobooth, and wall drapery with uplighting - and every single element was executed perfectly! Howard was an absolute natural as our emcee - seamless, energetic, and so skilled at keeping the night flowing. When last-minute changes and adjustments came up, he and Jonsen adapted quickly and effortlessly without missing a beat. Jonsen's music selection was on another level as our guests raved about how much they loved it, and the dance floor was packed from beginning to end. People could not stop talking about how much fun they had! The photobooth was a huge hit as well - the props were fun and the photo quality was excellent. The reception setup was incredibly well done and added so much to the overall atmosphere. What made them extra special for us was that they speak both Cantonese and English, which was so meaningful for our guests and made everyone feel included in the celebration. Whenever we thought of something that we thought was complicated, she would immediately have a solution that she could execute seamlessly. For things we didn't have much of an opinion on, Candice always knew what was best given our preferences, but always presented us with options just in case we wanted to go a different way. She kept us on track throughout the process, and when things got stressful for us closer to the date, she stepped in and took a lot off of our plate. Everything at the wedding went extremely smoothly. We had no stress, everything was taken care of. We were able to enjoy our wedding completely carefree. I usually keep a to do list of everything that needs to get done in life to make sure nothing slips through the cracks, even if its not something that I need to do. I tend to keep that list even when I'm fairly confident the other person will complete that task. With Candice, I felt comfortable not keeping that list, and just trusting she would take care of everything, which she did. But just the fact that I was able to get comfortable enough with Candice easy on to not keep that list was such a huge relief. Normally when I go to a wedding, I can identify the planner, but I tend to not have a strong opinion about the planner. Many of our guests commented on how smoothly everything ran with Candice and her team. She made a uniquely positive impression on our guests.

Henry told us not to worry and that even though he already had 2 other events that day, he had a backup photobooth for my niece's Sweet 16! They squeezed us in and were very professional doing so. They were setup ontime and they even were gracious enough to allow every single person in line to take photos. They kept everything setup and extended the ending time with a smile. My husband and I got married on October 10, 2025, at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas. As you may recall, it rained quite heavily around that time. We were supposed to have an outdoor wedding, but due to the rain, we ended up having an indoor ceremony. However, Sam Fu is a very considerate photographer. He planned his shooting schedule so that we could take our first look photos while the weather was still good, before it started raining at the outdoor venue where our floral arch and decorations were set up. He also took us around the hotel to take many gorgeous photos! No matter if it's an indoor or outdoor shot, a portrait or landscape, a close-up or full-size shot, you will be amazed by his gorgeous compositions. He will guide you through all the motions when you're lost, and everything will turn out very well when you see the photos! During the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, he captured all the touching moments, such as my husband and me entering separately, saying our vows, putting rings on each other's fingers, people toasting, crying, hugging, cutting the cake, and giving gifts.
