Highly recommend MLE! Cindy did an incredible job as our Wedding Planner and I am beyond happy that my wife and I had her! Her energy is great, she is obviously very knowledgeable of the industry, and she was always on top of everything we needed, before we even knew what we needed! MLE's preferred vendors were all fantastic, the team was communicative, and the most important of all - we felt fully prepared for the big day. Cindy made sure we walked away with the exact wedding that we pictured. So much goes into it and I do not know what we would have done without her! Thank you so much, Cindy, and all of the Mad Love Events Team! We really appreciate all your help in making our wedding the best day of our lives! read more

The Mad Love team took such incredible care of us throughout our entire wedding planning process. Cindy was so warm during our first call with her, and it really set the tone for all of our future interactions with the rest of her team! Shasele was our point of contact, and she was kind, thorough, and patient with us as we worked through all of our requirements and asked her a million different questions about the process. She also made sure to provide regular checklists of items to make sure we stayed on track, while also not putting too much pressure on us! Claire handled putting together a gorgeous design brief based on inspiration photos we gathered, which definitely helped as we went through the process of selecting and working with vendors--all of whom were also incredible! An important thing I also want to mention is that I had a sudden health issue flare up partway through our venue search, which set things back by a year. The team was incredibly understanding and checked in periodically while offering well wishes until I was ready to return to planning, and I deeply appreciate how patient they all were during such a difficult time. Overall we couldn't not have asked for a better planning team to work with, and we're so incredibly grateful to Mad Love Events for making our special day so perfect! read more

This review is long long overdue, Cindy and her amazing team helped us execute our dream wedding back in September of 2022 in Malibu, and absolutely recommend them if you guys are even on the fence or looking for a wedding planner/coordinator. Please continue reading and stop looking elsewhere and be completely convinced that you guys should go with MLE immediately! MLE was involved as our Day of Coordinator and planning activities 6 weeks leading up to the big day. Cindy's experience, consideration, professionalism, and honesty (this is a huge one) made what could have been a very stressful day into a stress-free day, or least as stress free as a wedding day can get it, haha. As the days approached the big day, we were already pretty happy with MLE, but once the big day came, they completely kicked it up into high gear. They were so seamless in working in the background to make everything come together with the vendors, timing, handling of guests, etc. We had a delay due to the florist, but they handled it so well that the guests couldn't tell, only we could, and even when we tried to get involved, MLE assured us that it was taken care of, and not to worry. They even went above and beyond in moving some flowers to be better positioned around our mirror guest list, which elevated how the florist had originally planned for. They were very considerate and thoughtful for us by making sure appetizers were set aside for us while we were taking pictures, we were very pleasantly surprised to find a big bowl of our seafood items sitting at our couples table, since we definitely didn't get a chance to get to it. Throughout the night, they made a point to bring us drinks, dessert, help with a small crisis on my mom's side. I really couldn't have imagined having a better coordinator the day of, I wish I had another big event to plan, because I would absolutely go back to them for their services. AND the amazing service doesn't even stop at the wedding day! Their follow up emails to reflect back on what went wrong or what went well shows how much they care about their work. They were very meticulous in addressing any concerns we had that happened on the big day and most importantly, they were honest. They were truthful about the reasons why some things didn't go as planned, and that to us is the most important trait in a coordinator that you can trust them. In the end, they were instrumental in even getting us partial refunds from vendors because of them not holding completely true to their agreements. If you've read this to its end, you don't need to look elsewhere, hire Cindy and her team now! You won't regret it! read more

We worked with Cindy for our wedding in May of 2023 at Descanso Gardens. We went with the Adore package as we had already booked a majority of our vendors. Cindy and her team have managed many weddings at Descanso and are one of their preferred vendors. Their experience at the venue was so valuable. It's hard to know where to begin because Cindy is absolutely amazing! She is reliable, prompt, and easy to work with. Leading up to the wedding, we were in close contact and she helped finalize all details with our vendors including timing, load in, and insurance. One thing we really appreciated is that Cindy handled the nitty gritty details without us CC'd and would give progress updates. This really helped reduce stress in the weeks leading up to the wedding. We also had an in-person planning meeting where we went over all the final details and timeline which made us feel relaxed and ready for the wedding. On the day, Cindy and her amazing team handled everything with professionalism and grace. We did not feel any stress during our wedding and the timeline Cindy created kept the event running smoothly. She also perfectly executed our vision for all decor. Our wedding was truly the most joyful and amazing day of our lives and it would not have been the same without Cindy helping to make it all possible! My now husband and I remarked that hiring Mad Love Events was the best decision we made for the wedding because it allowed us to enjoy the day and be present in the moment together. Thank you, Cindy!! read more

The quick of it is that Mad Love Events is amazing, and Cindy -- owner and event planner extraordinaire -- is the organizer, guardian, and stage director you want on your team. My wife and I were totally naive to the whole process of planning a wedding. We knew only a few things going in: how much we were willing to spend and that we knew we were going to need help. Enter Cindy of Mad Love Events. We knew almost instantly that Cindy was the right person to help guide us in this process. From our very first chat, Cindy made note of our goals, as well as our concerns, and helped steer us towards achieving our dream wedding. Cindy kept us on task and on budget all throughout planning. She created a budget spreadsheet that included everything we needed: who to contact and when (very important) and how much it needed to cost to stay within budget. Awesome. This organization was worth the price of admission alone. Day of the wedding, Cindy and her assistant ran everything with the skill you imagine ninjas or high paid, International assassins possess: efficient and virtually invisible. Our wedding flowed like a beautiful ballet, while the orchestration of vendors and venue staff behind the scenes by Mad Love Events must have been madness...I only assume this because I didn't really see much of it happening. Because I got to enjoy one of the best days of my life and not have to think about it. If you need help staying on budget, planning and managing all the little details, tracking where all the money is going, and then enjoy it all when it once it actually happens, then Cindy and Mad Love Events would be a great team to have in your corner. read more

Literally the best of the best wedding planners out there. Cindy and her team was amazing. Hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. Because of her team, I found the best florist, photographer, videographer. Everything! I cannot think of a bad decision we made while planning our wedding. (And you bet I'm picky!) My family and friends all raved about how on top they were. Everything went super smooth with no hick-ups for our wedding. I've been working with Cindy for pretty much 2 years planning the wedding since our wedding was postponed due to Covid. Cindy is so patient with me and super detail oriented. Cindy went above and beyond helping me with not just my wedding but my tea ceremony as well. And you have to see their day of schedule. It was sooo detailed down to 5 min interval. My wedding party was sooo amazed how detailed it was. Shasele and rest of MLE team was so on top of it the day of. Whatever you need, they got it ready. I remember minutes before we were about to walk down the aisle, the best man button on his jacket fell off. Thank god for Cindy. She fixed it within min and we were ready to walk down the aisle with no delay! Thank you so much Cindy and MLE team. We seriously could not have gotten married without you guys. Our wedding was more than I could of hoped for. It was perfect! Thank you so much and we seriously love you guys! read more

Looking back on the whole wedding experience, hiring Cindy for full planning of our wedding was the BEST decision we made. Through all the changes that the pandemic threw our way, Cindy switched gears to plan a wedding in Lake Louise, Canada to Maui, Hawaii to (finally) an elopement on Lambert's Cove Beach, Martha's Vineyard! Her attention to detail, efficiency and responsiveness, and knowledge of the wedding industry is unrivaled. From an itemized budget sheet to reminders to payments due to reviewing vendor contracts and navigating potential disasters the day of (weather report said thunderstorm and HAIL on the day of our beach ceremony, AND shuttle bringing our guests broke down in the middle of pick ups!), Cindy handles each aspect of your wedding with care and ease. I honestly wish I could give MLE more than 5 stars because they did such a phenomenal job at planning and executing our wedding we held in October. My husband and I live in New York but we decided to do our wedding in his home state, California. From opposite coasts, we worked with Cindy and her team for over a year. Wedding planning can be overwhelming but Cindy made everything so much easier. Her attention to detail, picking up on things we would've never thought of, and keen sense of our likes/dislikes really made the whole process smoother and added more excitement to our big day. We met up with her a couple of times to iron out the details, but she made sure our time was put to good use when we were in CA and helped us for anything we couldn't do in person. Cindy also has a lot of amazing vendors she's worked with before, which made choosing dessert vendors, wedding cake bakery, photographers/ videographers, and photo booth companies easier. She was also mindful of our budget- always negotiating with the local vendors, and finding us many options that fit our ideal wedding within our budget range. On the day of our wedding- everything felt perfect and my husband and I had the most memorable day in our lives. We were able to enjoy each and every moment of our big day with absolutely no stress- Cindy and her team made sure everything was running smoothly and we were having the best of times. We miss working with Cindy and her team but hope our friends and family will contact her for their weddings soon :) Thank you so much Cindy- hope we see you very soon! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. Cindy is incredible. Her attention to detail, kindness and professionalism is truly top notch. Cindy and her team were incredibly easy to work with. Much like my thank you cards, this review is long overdue. When we started planning our wedding in 2022, we had no idea where to start and we were a little on the fence about hiring a wedding planner. But once we met Cindy from Mad Love Events we knew we needed her. My husband and I both work in entertainment and have very demanding schedules so we needed someone to guide us and to help us stay on track. Cindy was amazing and not only did she recommend fantastic vendors who worked within our budget and dealt with all their contracts, Cindy and her team managed everything on our wedding day. We had no stress or worries because everything was organized, on schedule and absolutely beautiful. Our wedding day was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better team than Cindy and everyone at Mad Love Events. read more

Cindy has been an incredible part of our wedding journey. We started with her a year and a half in advance of our wedding and she helped us through our turbulent life of moving from NYC to LA, job changes, etc. It started with her planning our engagement party when we were still living in NYC and the event was in OC. The party went so well and after that I knew we were in such good hands... I trusted her judgement immensely and she put together an event that was exactly what I envisioned. She is extremely responsive and for someone that has a pretty hectic life, I felt like the wedding process was extremely easy... I got a lot of "you don't seem stress" comments and I just told them I have an amazing wedding planner :) Go with Cindy and team. They nailed it and truly put together a day that was so much fun and perfect. If this is not a testament to Cindy's meticulous planning.... I was not stressed at all during the wedding day. I literally had so much fun with my bridesmaids. We had nothing to worry about except looking pretty and having fun.  Also, if you're Vietnamese and you have Vietnamese parents that think it is also their wedding and want an input on everything...., even more reason to go with Cindy. She knows how to work the parents and my parents are really hard to impress and they absolutely LOVE her.   Thank you Cindy!! I'm going to miss working with you and thank you for creating the best day of our life! read more

Before I decided to go with Mad Love Events to coordinate my wedding, I looked into a few others before I settled with MLE. Why? There was just "something" missing with the other wedding coordinators and I was determined to find the very best. I'm so incredibly, unbelievably, happy with my decision with MLE because my wedding went so amazing- beyond my expectations! Shasele is so amazing! She was in constant- and I mean CONSTANT communication with us. She was so detailed- looking into things we totally missed! She was also in communication with our vendors on the behalf of us. I could never thank her enough. Come the day of the wedding, she sent me a text to tell me to not forget to eat and drink water. She was simply A M A Z I N G! Thank you, MLE! read more

Cindy from MLE ran a wedding that I was a Groomsman, and I was impressed. So I hired her for my wedding. We had a short-ish (5 months) timeframe to get everything planned. Cindy was a god send from the get go. She organized venue tours at locations that fit our budget/timeframe/guest count. Then once we chose a Venue she helped organize everything. I was absolutely dreading planning the wedding, but Cindy really made it a bresse. She kept us moving and let us know what decisions needed to be made early and what decisions we could put off for a while. Once everything was planned, we just had to make it through the wedding. Cindy and the Day of Team were great, I never felt lost and it seemed to me that everything went super smoothly, even if something went wrong the Bride and I did not know. Thank you Cindy! read more

My husband and I hired Cindy for our "month of" wedding planner. Cindy and her team went above and beyond to make our day run smoothly and stress free. MLE came highly recommended by a friend who had attended a few of their weddings. We are very glad we went with them. Cindy was very friendly and gave us realistic recommendation and suggestions based on our budget during our initial phone call. After we enlisted MLEs service (adore package), we were put in contact with Shasele. Shasele was extremely detail oriented, responsive, friendly, flexible, and easy to work with, especially since we were planning the wedding from out of state. Shasele made our wedding planning process very easy and smooth. She also attended a site meeting for us because we couldn't make it. My bridesmaids who had been in other weddings applauded at how on time the wedding went and how detailed Shasele was with the planning. Of all our vendors, MLE was best decision we made! We were very happy with the service we got from MLE and would definitely want to work with them in the future for other milestones in life! read more

We worked with Cindy and her team for over a year to plan for our wedding that happened this past October in Claremont. They were the best wedding coordinators we could ask for! We initially reached out to a few different wedding coordinators, but right from the get-go we felt like Cindy was the best fit for us and checked all the boxes. Not only was I completely clueless when it came to wedding planning, we also had to plan our wedding in California all the way from New York. We flew back a few times to meet with her to finalize some things in-person, but everything we couldn't do in-person, Cindy was there to help. From negotiating with local vendors to reminders regarding payments - she was on top of everything! Mad Love Events - Hamer Wedding - Wedding Planning Near Me

I cannot say enough good things about Mad Love Events. It is not an exaggeration for me to say that we would not have had a wedding without Cindy's expertise. My husband and I are both (extremely) disorganized, and were attempting to plan our wedding in Pasadena while he was working in Chicago and I in Philadelphia. We opted for the mid-tier package with Mad Love because we had already selected our venue and a couple other main vendors. It was probably the best decision we made in the entire process. Cindy was extremely detailed and organized, keeping us well informed of important deadlines, prompting us to make decisions in a timely manner, and maintained constant communication with us and all of our vendors. I have no idea when she has the time to sleep. On the day of the event, everything ran like a well-oiled machine, all because of Cindy and Mad Love. Cindy was able to keep me and my husband focused and moving to the next part of the program, while ensuring our guests and vendors had everything that they needed. I can't recommend Mad Love enough. If you are on the fence about booking a wedding planner (like we were originally), DO IT and make sure it's Mad Love! read more

My husband and I talked to several wedding planners last year when we first started planning our wedding. We were looking for a pretty non-traditional, casual wedding, and mostly everyone we talked to basically told us what we wanted wasn't doable, or that venues are booked out 2 years, or that we needed to double our budget. Cindy at Mad Love Events was the only planner we talked to who made us feel comfortable and actually seemed excited about our ideas. We could not be happier with the choice to go with her for our wedding planning needs. Cindy helped us with every step along the way, including things that we never even thought would come up. My husband and I are both incredibly busy, so I can't tell you how reassuring it was to know that the wedding stuff was handled. Of course, we communicated via email frequently as there were plenty of decisions to be made, but we always knew Cindy had things under control. On wedding day, things were so busy and everything just flew by in a whirlwind. I can't tell you how many times I thought, "oh I need to remember to tell Cindy to put that thing there, or take this thing out of that box, or set that up in the kitchen." I didn't remember to tell her any of that, of course, but everything was magically set up the way I wanted it anyway! Cindy and the Mad Love Events team made our wedding truly amazing, and we honestly could not have asked for a better experience. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! read more

We hired MLE and primarily worked with Shasele with the Adore (1.5 month prior) package. From my (Groom's) perspective, she was the one of the best vendors/services we could have booked for our wedding. She was always very responsive, detail oriented and flexible as should be for a wedding planner/coordinator. She went above and beyond with helping us plan vendors even well before the 1.5 month mark, and took all of the work/burden off our shoulder once that mark hit while still keeping us avidly involved. Even with a last minute covid issue the day of the rehearsal, she was quick to adapt and come up with a backup plan. I have nothing negative to say at all, and will be recommending them to all our family and friends. read more

If you're looking for an amazing wedding coordinator, I highly recommend Cindy and her team. They oversaw our wedding in July of 2022 at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, and working with them was a terrific experience. Everyone at Mad Love was so friendly, communicative, and always willing to go the extra mile. They helped us with some last minute details in the days leading up to the wedding and continued to help afterwards with some follow-up issues regarding our food vendor. I can't say enough good things about her and her Mad Love cohorts. read more

When we first met with Cindy, we felt like we were drawn to her by the questions she was asking in order to get to know us and understand how we wanted our big day to go. She absolutely knows how to walk the line of professionalism and being very personable. She made us feel very comfortable in the sense that we could tell her our ideas like we were telling a friend and yet we knew she would execute what we were telling her without any problems. We were doing a largely DIY wedding in the back of a home we rented through VRBO (aka EVERYTHING had to be well thought-out, right down to outlet locations and amps). Although we had friends who were helping us with the flowers, cake, and decorations, there were many more vendors we needed to book. Every one of Cindy's recommendations was awesome, and we were able to book them within the week without any hassle. This is a huge relief when our favorite part of our wedding planning was building our decorations and creating games for people to play throughout the ceremony- not deciding which bartending service to go with. Cindy, (and Ana on the day of) was absolutely amazing. We hardly saw her, but my friends and family constantly told us how great and hard working she was. My neighbor fell at one point during the reception and she said Cindy was right there making her sit down, checking to see if she was okay, and then locking the door so other people wouldn't make the same mistake. We interviewed other wedding planners, but my recommendation to you is not to waste your time. You won't find someone more organized, prepared, and easy to get along with. We were lucky to book her a year in advance, so do this quickly. I'm sure word of mouth is even stronger for her business than Yelp, but this is how I found her so I wanted to keep the good vibes going. read more

Cindy and her team are SUPER STARS!!!!! The first time I met up with Cindy to discuss my wedding I knew I just had to book her, because she's the perfect mixture of fun and professional, and it was evident that she's a pro at what she does when she was telling me about her process which made me feel at ease and assured me that I can trust such an important day to her so I booked her then and there and it was one of the best decisions I made! Cindy is very nice to work with, she's very patient with all the questions that my wife and I would shoot at her at random times and during the times when I would forget to mail her things that I should be mailing (sorry, Cindy!) She also has a lot of great suggestions when we were figuring out some of the details. We chose the month of package but Cindy was there to answer questions from day 1. On the day of the rehearsal, she made the whole process pretty easy and made suggestions we didn't even think of doing, and she gave us cookies! She's very sweet! She's been very awesome from the day we booked her, but on our actual wedding day was when she really shone and unleashed her super powers! Everything went smoothly and she executed everything so perfectly, I remember my wife and I being in awe the whole time during the wedding and telling ourselves numerous times that Cindy and her team are like super human beings working tirelessly throughout the whole event! I am so grateful that Cindy and her team were there for us so we wouldn't have to worry about anything. I am extremely happy to have made the right decision to book Mad Love Events. To any and all brides-to-be, I would HIGHLY recommend---no I would *URGE* you to book Mad Love Events. You will definitely not regret it! Thanks again Cindy! read more

I'm the type of person who usually could not be bothered to write reviews. However, I was so impressed by Claire and her team that I had to. Our wedding on 9/23/17 went without a hitch thanks to Mad Love Events. Claire is very professional, experienced, organized, and responsible. She went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was perfect. From the first visit to the day of the wedding, Claire helped to keep us on a timeline and address details that we did not think of. Prior to the wedding, Claire put together an itinerary that impressed every vendor and wedding party. Mad love events coordinated with all of our vendors and venues and organized the events on the day of the wedding. We literally had nothing to worry about and fully enjoyed our wedding. I think what sets Mad Love Events from other wedding planners is not only their responsiveness and professionalism, but also their vision, flexibility, friendliness that made this stressful time an enjoyable one. If you're on the fence about paying for a planner, just do it. The planners help with details that you will overlook. For those looking for a planner, look no further. It doesn't get better than this. We are recommending Mad Love to all our friends and family. read more

I am reviewing from a wedding photographer standpoint and this review is loooong overdue. I first had the pleasure of working with Mad Love Events in 2013 for a wedding at the gorgeous Wayfarers Chapel. The whole wedding ran smoothly but what blew me away was when she helped me organize the family photos without me asking. They were done super, quick and easy thanks to her. For me, this portion of a wedding day can be the most stressful. Corralling everyone and getting through the shot list can be nerve-wracking but thanks to Cindy it was a breeze. Every wedding I have had since, I have yet to encounter another wedding co-ordinator as helpful as Mad Love in this manner. Since 2013 I have had the pleasure of teaming up with Cindy, Shasele and Claire a number of times and every time the wedding has gone super smooth and has run on time. My favorite part is seeing the couple having a fun and stress-free time. I have shot many weddings without a co-ordinator and I can see a huge difference having an amazing team on your side can make. Hire Mad Love! You won't be sorry. I can not think of one negative thing to say about Cindy and her team. I even had the pleasure of photographing Cindy's wedding. What an honor it was! Thank you Mad Love for being rad. read more

Can't recommend Cindy and her team more highly! My fiance and I spoke to several different planners/coordinators, and Cindy immediately put us at ease-- we could be as involved and in charge as we wanted, she promised, and she'd take over the rest. And she remained true to her word every step of the way. We never felt pushed to make a decision about anything we weren't ready for, and we were all too happy to hand off the intricacies of renting kitchen floor mats to someone who knows how. We had a full, thorough meeting in advance of the 'week of' where we ironed out all the details before our families could swoop in with their opinions. And while our wedding party cheerfully mocked us for the five-page itinerary Cindy handed out in advance of the big day... they appreciated that we ran ahead of schedule so much that they could cross the street and grab a beer before the ceremony! And we had zero cares and responsibilities to worry about, just plenty of time to have fun and celebrate while invisible elves kept us clicking along on a timetable that would make train conductors weep with joy. Cindy, you're an angel. To begin, I don't know how I ever thought a wedding would be possible without a good coordinator. After doing some crowdsourcing online after recognizing the absolute need for a coordinator, we came across Mad Love Events. I had several phone calls with other coordinators, but my conversation with Cindy made me feel the most at ease. We hired Mad Love Events as our day-of coordinator, but Cindy began to organize and keep in contact with us weeks before our wedding. She efficiently asked all the important questions to keep us on track and not a single detail was missing. Thank you so much, Cindy + Mad Love team, for having the expertise to execute such a seamless wedding for us. Cindy organized everything from vendor payments, vendor communication, guest management, rehearsal, to every other day-of detail you could imagine (you should see her itinerary - the most meticulous schedule you'll ever see). The best thing about this team was that they made their job look easy, because of their professionalism and ease. On the day of our wedding, Cindy and her team treated all of our guests and us with so much kindness and respect. We were so thankful for that, because it added to the joy of our wedding day. I was definitely that bride who called her crying the day before but she made sure to get the situation handled so I could try to relax. She works well with children and a large blended family. Cindy and her team went above and beyond on my wedding day. After I booked my wedding venue, next vendor I booked was my wedding coordinator. I appreciated Cindy's flexibility from the start when I asked for ways to lower the cost since I wasn't sure on future expenses. Her willingness to work with me yet keep the quality meant a lot. I booked the 1 month package and it was worth every penny. Not only did Cindy took care of everything we've discussed, she remembered the details I gave her on our first meeting and executed the details I've forgotten. Cindy arranged my florist to deliver groom and bride personal flowers to the hotel and deliver everything else to the venue but my florist messed up and delivered all of our wedding party's flowers to the hotel. We did our best to collect everything before leaving the hotel but we forgot my bouquet (yes, the bride's bouquet). We didn't notice it was missing until we were at the venue getting ready to take our pictures. Cindy took charge and drove to my hotel to pick up few other items we forgot to bring. Cindy kept me in the loop the entire time. I highly recommend Mad Love Events. read more

Prices are extremely reasonable, we got the "Adore" package which was 6 weeks before, ceremony rehearsal and day of wedding planning. It was just the right amount of help since I'm a cuckoo bride who likes to plan 99% of everything. They kept everything flowing smoothly for the wedding and surprisingly we ended up being ahead of schedule. I love them! Highly recommend!! read more

My first piece of advice to newly engaged couples: Hire a wedding planner. Second piece of advice: Hire Mad Love Events. I am the classic anxious, type-A, control-freak bride and I was so happy to relinquish planning our wedding to Mad Love Events. From the moment we met Shasele, Cindy and Claire, I knew we were in good hands. They've seen it all and done it all, and truly know how to help you execute your vision with the utmost level of detail and professionalism. Shasele and the Mad Love team were with us every step of the way, helping us navigate the intense and expensive world of wedding planning. I sent Shasele questions on everything from obtaining a marriage license to helping chose wedding favors. She always responded to my frantic emails with rational, detailed advice in a timely manner. I innately trusted her wisdom and she never failed me throughout the process. In the weeks before our wedding, Shasele handled all vendor communication, allowing me to focus on being present for the big day. On the day of the wedding, I was amazed by the teams' flawless execution. They handled all vendor scheduling, created a minute-by-minute itinerary, and ensured we ate, danced, and enjoyed time with our family and friends. If there were issues, I had no clue. By the time we left the venue, everything was packed including our guestbook, cards, personal items. Shasele and the team blew us away and I can't thank them enough. I'm so impressed with Mad Love and I'd highly recommend their services - You will not regret it!! read more

If you are reading this, congrats on your engagement! I found Mad Love Events on Yelp too. When I first met Cindy, it was wedding planning love at first sight! I did not even meet with another wedding planning service as I knew Mad Love Events was the one. There is not a single negative thing I can say about Cindy and Mad Love Events, so here are some of the things I loved the most: - No judgment. When I initially met with Cindy, it was my very first wedding-related meeting. I had no idea what I was doing. We went over preliminary wedding details; she took lots of notes, asked questions and gave wonderful advice and recommendations. Even leading up to the wedding she was most helpful with some of the unsavory planning details like seating arrangements, tipping, proper wording, etc. My husband and I had some unique ideas; Cindy made us feel totally normal about them. - The most organized organizer! Cindy literally creates a minute-by-minute schedule of your wedding day and distributes the play-by-play packet to all involved (wedding party, parents, vendors, etc). This was extremely important as my fiancé and I were able to relax and get ready without calls/texts from everyone asking where they needed to be. Whatever detail you can think of, Mad Love Events has it covered. The only thing we had to worry about on our wedding day was waking up. Seriously. - Communication. Emails and calls are responded to very timely. Cindy followed up a couple of days after our wedding to make sure we received some of our items. She even followed up a few weeks after to double check! We had only roughly 70 guests at our wedding. Although this may seem like a manageable number, there is absolutely no way I could have handled all the many details on my own without a beautiful nervous breakdown. Trust me; even if it is a smaller wedding, you need Mad Love Events! I received so many compliments from our vendors on how wonderful Mad Love Events was to work with. And thanks to Cindy and her team, our wedding was absolutely flawless. I cannot recommend Mad Love Events enough; it was the best investment we made. read more

When you're preparing for a wedding, its all about budget, budget, budget. There are so many details that you need to plan for - the venue, flowers, DJ, food. alcohol, transportation and even a ring pillow, yeah that's right a pillow to carry the rings down the aisle and then you don't even actually use the pillow to carry the rings because the ring bearer is too young..well anyway you get the point. Well, when you're paying for your own wedding, all this stuff gets put under the microscope, dissected, questioned, and eventually approved if you love your fiance (haha). When the idea of a 'Day-of' Wedding coordinator came up, of course I was one of those soon-to-be-husbands that thought why do we need a wedding coordinator? There is a venue rep that works with us and she told us that she will be there to help out with any details of the wedding on that day and everything will be perfect. So i thought well that should be fine, we can save a little cash on a Day-Of Coordinator. After a little discussion, my soon to be blushing bride convinced me otherwise (of course), explaining to me that WE can not be dealing with all of the little details on our big day and we don't need to be bothered, so of course I succumbed to the wifey's wants just like we bought the Ring pillow. Let me tell you how wrong I was. Cindy from Mad Love Events was just not a 'Day of Coordinator', no, she was an Executive Producer. Our wedding day, at Calmigos Ranch in Malibu, which turned out to be amazing wouldn't have been anywhere close to the day it was without Cindy running the show. First off, forget about the term 'day-off', Cindy met with us a few months before the wedding to get a sense of who we were, what kind of wedding we wanted, and to offer any advice for any of the vendors we were thinking about hiring or any questions we had about the process. Then about a month later she met with us again to start fine-tuning details and presented us with a detailed rundown of how the wedding schedule. The rundown was down to the minute! It would of made any TV producer jealous, and I actually thought to hire her as a production coordinator for an upcoming project since I am in the TV business. That's how detailed she was, let me say I was very impressed. Two weeks leading up to the wedding, Cindy reached out to all of the vendors, coordinated their schedules, made sure they were ready-to-go with exactly everything we wanted. She was very, very on top of communication leading up to the big day. With my fiance being very detailed as well, they complemented each other very well. As far as the actual day-of, Cindy equipped with an assistant and walkie-talkies, treated our day like a Hollywood production, and let me tell you she didn't dissapoint. Everything came off as smoothly as possible, with my wife or I really not having to deal with anything. Cindy was absolutely amazing. So for any of those soon to be hubbies that don't think you need a 'day of' coordinator...think again. You do. You cant go wrong with Cindy and Mad Love events. read more

How do I love Mad Love Events? Let me count the ways... No I can't! LOL! There are too many reasons why I love Cindy and her Mad Love Events team. My honey and I pretty much planned the whole wedding, but I knew from other brides that it's best to - at the very least, have someone (not a friend or family member) to help with the reception. So I started to look for wedding coordinators. After seeing Cindy's Yelp reviews, I honestly thought that it was too good to be true. I mean, really? All of these 5 stars? How is that possible? It is. Totally is. I have to say that I would consider myself pretty detailed oriented and I've done a few big event production myself. But I was very very very comfortable with handing off the execution of the reception to Cindy. Dear brides-to-be: When Cindy gives you advice... FOLLOW IT! She was the one who suggested that I not have my regular stylist do my hair. I didn't listen. Then two weeks before my wedding, my stylist hinted that she couldn't do the formal do that I wanted. Cindy knows her weddings, people. Just listen to her and save yourself the headache. Her recommendations are fantastic! We got our DJ through Cindy, and my last-minute hair and make-up person (yes, make-up flaked out on me too, don't ask). Cindy was quick to respond to every email, every phone call I made. Even though she had a rehearsal on the same day as our Friday wedding, she made sure that I knew about her associate coordinators were ready to step in until she was there in person. I had 100% confidence and trust in the entire team. We had a few curve balls to throw at the Mad Love team. We had 1,000 origami cranes to hang/set out. We had a venue that never hosted a wedding reception before. But they handled everything with no problem. I'm not the kind who digs snafus. But every time there was a bump in the road, I turned to Cindy. There were bumps during the reception, but I didn't even have to worry about it because Cindy and her team were right there to make sure that we enjoyed our special day rather than freaking out that the buffet line was backing up. Even though Mad Love was only hired for the reception, Cindy took the time to make sure that other components of our wedding was set. You can tell that Cindy takes great interest and professional pride to make sure that every single couple she helps out receives her above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty service. Mad Love Events are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Period. Exclamation mark. MANY exclamation marks! All in BIG BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS! The reception really went flawlessly. I had SO MUCH FUN AT MY WEDDING THAT IT'S RIDICULOUS! Yes, the ring is important, the dress is important. But your next investment for your wedding is to HIRE CINDY AND MAD LOVE EVENTS! read more

YES TO MAD LOVE EVENTS and their fearless leader CINDY PHAM! Honestly, probably the best wedding decision I made. We decided to hold our wedding in Malibu CA, and knew our date and venue for about a year and a half. You'd think that's enough time to plan a very organized and well thought out wedding. This was not the case, and our biggest challenge is that we live abroad in the far away, the terrible internet connection land of Africa. This made wedding planning nearly impossible. I returned to the U.S about 7 month before our wedding for a vacation, and also used this opportunity (with working internet and other communication tools) to do some additional wedding planning. This is when I decided that there was no way I could do this on my own, so I searched the web and found Mad Love Events, and most importantly, Cindy. What a life saver she was!! and still is.. There was a 8 hour time difference from me to her, but she remained super responsive, super organized, and best of all, was great at managing me. :) We went with the month-before package, but she was in contact with me non-stop well before a month before our wedding. I really feel like she went above and beyond our contract. She didn't nit-pick about anything, she was just there to help. She made things happen. I knew there were some things I absolutely had to have, and other things I just didn't want to think about... like center pieces, cake, other decorations, and flowers. Cindy took all this on, owned it, and delivered perfectly. I felt like she kinda read my mind, she knew what I wanted before I knew I wanted it. She was so unbelievably patient with me, enduring my 6 page emails, and replying to all my book-lengthed emails in detail, making sure she addressed every single one of my concerns/questions. The most important thing is, on the day of, I didn't have any stress, all i had to do was make sure I was dressed and ready. She literally took care of everything else. The venue was beautiful (she did all the decorations), my flowers were perfect (she did that also), and everything ran perfectly smoothly from my perspective, I'm sure she was working and running around like a mad woman the whole time to ensure that I felt that way. That is what makes her absolutely priceless. I could not have imagined my wedding without her. Absolutely recommend her. You will not regret it. THANK YOU CINDY FOR EVERYTHING!!!!! read more

This is my first Yelp review ever and how appropriate for the wedding coordinator that made it possible for me to plan my dream wedding during my first year of residency (and for those who aren't familiar, its 100+ hour work weeks and countless overnight shifts), 3000 miles away from home(and my fiance and wedding venue)! Upon hiring Cindy, she was very responsive to all my questions and provided me with extremely helpful resources. As a result, everyone told me I had the most amazing wedding ever and my husband and I really owe it all to Cindy! A few of the details to show you how good Cindy really is: 1. Cindy was incredibly organized, patient, and professional. Her communication really showed us how much attention to detail she placed on getting us what we wanted for our dream wedding. She would send me updates and answer all my emails promptly. She worked around my very rigid schedule without ever making me feel bad about it. She coordinated all my tastings during the few weeks i had at home over the holidays. 2. Cindy sent us regular reminders when payments/deadlines were due with ample time to make sure the contracts were met. She went to meetings with my husband since I was unable to go and relayed all the information to me. She followed up with all our vendors (which we picked from her suggestions based on what we told her we wanted) and confirmed appointments so that all I had to do was show up! 3. Cindy never pushed any of her own ideas on me. She provided suggestions based on what my husband and I wanted. Furthermore, she offered lots of variety. For example, we didn't want the traditional string quartet for our ceremony/reception so she sent us different options such as a yuke lele (which we would have never thought of on our own and turned out amazing!!) 4. Cindy was always available. I could call her, text her, or email her during the holidays and get a prompt response. I still remember that our caterer forgot our tasting appointment (despite the confirmation email Cindy had sent, which I had gotten a copy of). I called her that night and she wa pleasant and helpful (regardless what else she had going on). She called our vendor we were going to use to rent tables/chairs from to get our caterer's home number and called him and got him to come meet us ASAP and discuss things and work things out! She never made us feel bad about interrupting her dinner that night and ensured everything worked out by re-scheduling it for us on my time schedule and calling to confirm it went well after the tasting. Her follow-through was unsurpassed! Those are just a few examples of how she was able to give my husband and I our dream wedding (where people are still talking about it almost a year later!). She listened to everything i wanted and hit it right on!! I can't recommend her enough!! Thanks Mad Love Events and Cindy for everything!! There is no way I could have done half of what she did even if I wasn't a resident and living in LA!! Simply amazing!!! read more
