From MWS' blogs and interview, we could tell they fully understand how to create unique multicultural weddings. One important tip for newly engaged couples - wedding planners don't create the designs of your wedding!! It's the florists' job. So finding a good planner is important because then they'll help you find good vendors, communicate your vision, and make sure everything is executed perfectly on the actual day. We had a BLAST on our wedding day. We knew Sarah's team got our backs, so we weren't stressed at all. I cannot stress enough the importance of the planner's role in your wedding!! They're the project manager. Their leadership and execution will affect your entire wedding and how well your vendors set up everything. The day of the wedding - our hotel venue Pasea hotel promised us that we'd be the only wedding booked on our wedding day. This was promised before we signed with them. On the day of, we realized they double booked another couple's reception without telling us. I actually bumped into the other bride and was very surprised about the whole thing. Sarah talked to the other wedding planner and made sure their music was lowered during our ceremony. everything went smoothly for both parties. 10/10 execution. Another green flag about MWS is that they helped us minimized our budgets. Sarah was real with us lmao. Whenever our ideas went too crazy, she'll hone us back and help find alternatives. Her network of vendors are all affordable and very creative, so that saved us a lot of work. Attitude 10/10. Our guests loved Sarah. She's bubbly but also will get sh*t done. I've been to weddings where stressed out planners would give off weird vibes to the wedding parties, but not this girl. She was extremely kind, patient, and creative. To be honest I was very hesitant and a bit stressed about learning a dance for the wedding, but she gave us the building blocks and showed through her teaching the confidence I needed to dance on our special day. She knew our level of dance knowledge (which was basically zero) and she knows just what to look out for (ie. smile more, practice with wedding shoes) in order for brides to look their best on the big wedding day. Henry told us not to worry and that even though he already had 2 other events that day, he had a backup photobooth for my niece's Sweet 16! They squeezed us in and were very professional doing so. They were setup ontime and they even were gracious enough to allow every single person in line to take photos. They kept everything setup and extended the ending time with a smile. The cake place was way too far away for us to make it so Candice literally drove out of her way to go pick up the cake samplers and bring them to us to take home just so we wouldn't miss out. Two days before the wedding, I was spiraling bc I thought our seating chart signage and menus weren't going to arrive in time. Candice immediately jumped in with a backup plan to fix it. Thank goodness they did arrive but we had a back up plan just in case. And the actual wedding day? She was a total rockstar!! Everything felt completely seamless. For things we didn't have much of an opinion on, Candice always knew what was best given our preferences, but always presented us with options just in case we wanted to go a different way. She kept us on track throughout the process, and when things got stressful for us closer to the date, she stepped in and took a lot off of our plate. Everything at the wedding went extremely smoothly. We had no stress, everything was taken care of. We were able to enjoy our wedding completely carefree. I usually keep a to do list of everything that needs to get done in life to make sure nothing slips through the cracks, even if its not something that I need to do. I tend to keep that list even when I'm fairly confident the other person will complete that task. With Candice, I felt comfortable not keeping that list, and just trusting she would take care of everything, which she did. But just the fact that I was able to get comfortable enough with Candice easy on to not keep that list was such a huge relief. Normally when I go to a wedding, I can identify the planner, but I tend to not have a strong opinion about the planner. Many of our guests commented on how smoothly everything ran with Candice and her team. She made a uniquely positive impression on our guests.

I wouldn't have survived the wedding planning process without Cindy!! We had a 130 person wedding in my parents backyard, which meant we had to hire every single individual vendor (it was a LOT of different ones) and they all had to work together to execute a flip during our cocktail hour from the ceremony to the reception because it was on the same lawn. Cindy's help was immeasurable in the last couple of months of planning when it really came down to final decisions, minor details, and logistics, all which I felt too overwhelmed to do while I was working full time. Cindy took the bull by the horns and handled all of this leading up to the big day both efficiently and effectively. She was both my advocate and my sounding board. I often forgot that she is running a whole business with multiple clients at the same time because of how much time, attention, and care she gave me. I felt like I was her only client at times, which I know of course was not true. On the day of the wedding there were so many moving parts. It rained unexpectedly so her staff helped make sure I stayed dry as much as possible while also caring for our guests. She and her staff made sure I always had a drink in my hand after making sure to note my preference before hand. I noticed that one of her staff members was always near us as the bride and groom in case we needed anything at all. They all managed the flip with the dozens of other vendor staff members like absolute bosses. The day was so perfect and magical and went off without a hitch. I know that was in large part because of Cindy and her staff working so diligently behind the scenes. I know there was a ton of things they did leading up to and on that day to make sure it ran smoothly that went unnoticed. What was noticed was how hard they were working all day and into the night. All of the administrative and logistical help and work was truly incredible, and didn't end after the day was over even as Cindy helped us navigate what vendors stayed longer and for how long, who had been tipped and who hadn't, and helped us coordinate with vendors who had left stuff at the house or accidentally taken some of our things with them. We could not have pulled this off without Cindy and her staff. She really made the day so seamless and beautiful for us. I would recommend her to anyone who asked. MAD LOVE EVENTS! So grateful to have worked with a company and staff like yours. We got married on 7.24.15 at the Loft on Pine with 300 person guest list. Cindy and her team well exceeded our expectations and made our wedding so much fun and memorable. We opted to get the 1 month out package and let me tell you that was much needed and so helpful. It really alleviated so many tasks and kept us right on track. Shasele was so detailed and prompt with all of our vendors and kept us informed every step of the way. Without her, we would have been so stressed and lost during the whole planning. I didn't realized how important it is having a coordinator for your wedding. It makes all the difference in the world and I highly suggest considering having one especially Mad Love Events and their team. They are truly experienced in what they do and have a handle on everything from beginning to end. So organized and the system they have created would definitely make your life that much easier and smoother as you plan for your wedding. My husband and I had our wedding reception in April...Cindy took care of everything for me. I was pregnant at the time we started planning and she did everything she could to take all the stress off my plate. Cindy helped us find a venue, flowers, DJ, etc. There was so many invitations to choose from and I didn't want to think about it. Cindy helped narrow down the choices for me and helped me pick one. Our dessert list had a lot of different things on there and she made sure to get everything for us. She really helped us take care of everything which made it so easy for us to enjoy our wedding reception. Plus, I didn't stress over wedding stuff because I had Cindy to go to. We also need to give a shout to one of the other team member, Claire. She made sure to keep us on track that night and made sure that anything we needed she would take care of it so we wouldn't have to worry. If you are looking for a wedding planner, Cindy and Mad Love is your go to team. If you aren't using a wedding planner, I would think twice. There's just so much to do that it's worth it to hire one. Shaselle did a great job coordinating our event last month at The Loft on Pine in Long Beach! She worked with us a month out, handling the vendors and helping to finalize the details. As my husband are both super busy with work, she was really helpful and very detail-oriented which I love. During the actual wedding, I really liked her calm and collected manner as well; she was always very sweet. Although Shaselle was the lead coordinator, Cindy the owner of the company was available if I had any questions or concerns too which I appreciated! Various friends and family members were responsible for taking certain things home for us so we can enjoy our wedding night and Shaselle made sure those people didn't leave without them! Got a room for the weekend in Los Angeles. Their onsite parking is a bit high but you'd need to drive to an open parking lot to get a better rate. Upon check in we were offered a renovated room for $40 more but passed. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was a little too soft for my liking. My only complaints were that we could hear the next room shower every morning and the day of check out, house keeping was trying to push us out at 9 am. If you can get a good weekend rate, I'd recommend. read more

Our rehearsal went smooth and she was always receptive to hear what we wanted and as everything flowed, she could steer everything to make sure it did just that. Wedding day, the event couldn't have gone more perfectly. All those months of planning finally turned into the greatest night of our lives. Not just ours as the wedding couple, but our wedding party, our family and all our friends. She even drove to our home to pick up the decorations for the day of the wedding and gave her very little direction and when we showed up to the venue, our jaw dropped. Everything the day of the wedding went perfect. I am not exaggerating, but she did an amazing job. She made sure all night we were ok and even got us cocktails after the reception so we didn't have to interrupt our schedule and we would be at ease. I don't think I can describe how amazing she was the day of the wedding and all the weeks leading up to the wedding. She was always a text/email/call away and she would always help us find a solution to any issue that came up before the wedding. If you are considering hiring Vanessa, I wouldn't hesitate to give her a chance. Her prices are very competitive and trust me, you will wish you had another wedding coming up so you could work with her. She is extremely professional and beyond organized.
