The event was held in the stone room, which was perfect for our party of around 30 guests. Susan and Kaylee worked directly with me to bring my vision to life and were always available to meet and answer any questions. Their preferred vendors were also awesome - shoutout to It's Graze-y and Wisteria Grove! The final decor was absolutely stunning, and the event turned out better than I could have imagined. Susan and Kaylee even set up an arts and crafts table for the children present to help keep them occupied! It was such an unexpected surprise and really touched my heart. Beautiful location in Upland for special events. However it is located in a busy intersection so the noise level outside is pretty loud from all the vehicles driving by. Keep that in mind if you are having an outdoor event - you will need a good speaker system if you want to be heard! I was here for a wellness event and during our Pilates session outdoors on the grass, I couldn't hear the instructor over the traffic noise. The interior of the building is cute for a reception or small meetings. There's a bridal suite near the restroom. I loved this venue!!! Everything Kim and Shelly did was amazing. They were so easy to work with from start to finish. On the day of, Kim was seriously on top of it. She did amazing, and she was always making sure everything was the way I wanted it and helped with any requests I had willingly. It was like working with a professional friend! I hired Shelly as my photographer, which was great because she knew the ins and outs of the venue since she works there as well. And the owner of the venue is really nice and helped out a lot on the day of our wedding, All the other staff was amazing as well! I planned my mom's celebration of life event which took place here. Throughout the planning process, the staff (special shout out to Kim) were all very nice and helpful. They had good communication and planned a wonderful event in two weeks. The event itself came together beautifully with the venue which had a peaceful garden type of vibe. The florist, DJ, videographer, and caterer they recommended all worked together to make the event better than I imagined. I told Kim that I was making Christmas ornaments to hand out and they offered to use a small tree as a prop for the ornaments which was great. Guests who were worried about the virus felt more comfortable with the precautions that were in place such as a temperature check upon arrival, sanitized seats and tables, as well as a well spaced out seating/ standing option. La Villa Bella is a beautiful historical gem and a wonderful, interesting place to have an event. This historical building was once the first hospital in Upland California. This is a craftsman style building and has all the nooks and crannies that one would expect in vintage setting. My family recently had a celebration of life at La villa Bella. The owners and staff could not have been more accommodating and sympathetic. We had our celebration outside under the arbor with flowing white curtains blowing in the breeze. There was a spacious area covered with branches with tables and that is where we relaxed and shared time with family and friends, near a memory table set up to display pictures and keepsakes. There is a lovely fireplace where we set up for our Eulogies and anyone who wish to say a few words. Inside the old hospital, there is a large room where we had a screen playing music and pictures that continued throughout our event. This is a romantic setting filled with history, a beautiful- peaceful place to celebrate. If there were an option to give 10 stars, I'd still request room more. The entire staff, environment, and energy exuded competence and positivity that we will remember forever. My wife and I had our wedding reception there this past weekend and I'm still in awe on how accommodating the staff were. Susan, Frank, Shelly, and Kim were fantastic in making sure our reception went by as smoothly as possible. Through COVID and all its chaos, we have had to pivot so many times through different venues, vendors, dates, etc for the better part of the year. The stress level was beyond imaginable unless you went/are going through it. We were told two weeks ago that Padua Hills couldn't/wouldn't give us the option for food/drink, which put us in a huge bind (since that was were everything supposed to be). My family, fiancé, and I scrambled everywhere to find accommodations. La Bella Villa took it upon themselves to go the extra mile to put in the effort and have the gracious ability to be human to help us in our time of need. Through the two weeks, their communication was exemplary, their customer service was beyond compare, and the setting of the actual venue felt very relaxing, cozy, and perfect for what we were looking for. I know I am just high from happiness from the wedding itself, but this is the most objective review I can ever write. Years from now, I will look back and read this with confidence because this my most authentic feelings on the matter. The small things matter, like how Frank quickly anticipated the flow of formalities and led me to their private bathroom for me to wash my face after the cake-cutting ceremony (long lines at the public bathrooms), or how Shelly threw herself into the pit of girls for the bouquet toss because we were pretty thin in that department. The little things that made our reception fun and fulfilling go a long way and I want to make sure the public knows this. The people, the atmosphere, the food, etc. were all perfect for us, and we thank God that we found them. Our only regret is that we didn't find them sooner. To anybody and everybody reading this, DO NOT let this venue slip from your sight. To the La Villa Bella team, Jeanette, I, and our families and friends appreciate you, adore your spirit, and wish you nothing but the best. Especially with COVID protocols. Just had a great event at La Villa Bella this week. We used all 3 areas of the venue. Susan's staff was very accommodating because we needed so many decorations because of our themed event. They kept making sure everything was the way i wanted or needed it to be. Susan even helped us with the theme by decorating for the event too. She really is an all in event planner. Our over 100 guests really enjoyed the event. The cater she recommended was perfect. Food was delicious and also was themed. We even used the bar service. Everything was a success.
