What a beautiful venue. Hidden up in the hills of Mt Baldy. My niece was married here and the entire process was perfect from start to finish. The grounds are beautiful. Everything was handled so professionally and she was beaming the entire night. They handled practically everything. If you're lookin for your venue this place is it. Views, decor and location can't be beat.

From the moment we stepped onto this property for our first viewing we were treated like family. We were married here this past November. The property is insanely beautiful, the staff are fantastic and friendly, and the full bloom package includes almost everything you need for the big day, and all at one easily budgeted cost. Their contracted vendors are TOP notch! We don't even like BBQ food most of the time but their caterer is SO amazing at their craft that we ended up doing BBQ! Yes, there were times I had to reach out several times to get an answer. Sometimes responses came slowly, and it drove me nuts. But it was typically minor items and was eventually addressed. I also didn't really realize HOW much was included for the day of until the actual day of. Yes, a little more communication would be lovely, but ultimately it didn't affect everything enough to knock a star off. I really was completely blown away with how easy everything seemed to go along, and I'm kind of an A-type control freak haha If Sweet Pea is the aesthetic you're looking for you won't find a better place in all of So Cal. I promise. Tess and Company were amazing and I can't wait to have another event here in the future.

OMG! I just had my wedding here on Saturday night June 18, and I couldn't be more impressed! The venue is absolutely stunning, the DJ Gilbert was awesome, the food fantastic, the flowers for decoration were gorgeous, and I LOVE that it is ALL INCLUSIVE! Shannon and Tess were amazing on arranging everything, taking all the pressure off me and allowed me to fully enjoy my wedding. I am so glad to have chosen Sweet Pea Ranch to get married at! If I were doing it again, I wouldn't change a thing. I LOVED IT!!

We got married at Sweet Pea Ranch October 1. If you are looking for a classy rustic all inclusive venue, look no further than Sweet Pea Ranch!!! From my inquiry to the end of the event, the team at the ranch was responsive, helpful, polite, fun and organized. They made planning the event so easy. I only had one close call melt down and that was over the late dj change and I only panicked because I hadn't internet stalked the new dj . But Shannon was amazing. She put my mind at rest even called the new dj and the owner of the company called me direct and ensured all would be good. It was more than good. The DJ was phenomenal, the food was amazing, I barely added anything to the decor. All my guests had an amazing time. All the vendors were great, especially my florist!!! I was assigned to Alicia at Amore Flowers, and I think she was sent to me from above. Alicia made all my floral dreams come true!!! All in all, the team at Sweet Pea is amazing!!!! Shannon really held my hand at the times I needed it. I want to relive that day over and over. Thank you Shannon, Tess, and team. You made our day one to remember for a lifetime.

I loved my wedding at Sweet Pea Ranch! It was such a beautiful day and the scenery around Sweet Pea is truly unique and memorable. In the months leading up to the wedding, Chelsea was always quick to respond and extremely helpful with all of my questions (she also did my florals, which were beautiful)! I arrived late with my bridal party to the venue for photos, but the staff was extremely kind and helped keep us on schedule despite our tardiness. I got married on 12/27/19, and the temperature dropped down to around 38 degrees that evening. Fortunately, we rented a heated tent and the staff even brought out extra heaters when guests were still chilly. Additionally, they upgraded our beer and wine bar to a full bar without charge just to make sure the evening was perfect! The only note I would make is that guests need to use "luxury porta-potties" for the restroom. They're really not too bad, but they're not ideal. So I would just take a look at them before you book to make sure you wouldn't mind your guests using them. Other than that, I really loved this venue and I could not have imagined a more beautiful wedding for myself!

First off, I had the most amazing wedding in the world on May 28th, 2017. No mistakes, no confusion, so much fun, way more than I would ever dream of. When I reached out to Tess, I was given a tour of the beautiful layout. I had a total of 3 planning meeting (they give you as many as you need), they provide the vendors for food, dessert, DJ, bartender, chairs/tables, flowers and more. I chose my own photographer and officiant. They had a tasting party to try food/hear your DJ, and get the feel and an amazing rehearsal the Thursday before the wedding. You really feel like you are apart of their family. When I walked into the venue day of the wedding at 3PM to do my first look, I was floored. It was calm, completely set-up and all the centerpieces were amazing. The staff was organized, calm and all on walkie-talkies displaying how organized and professional they were. My desserts were so good and the timeline was flawless. I had over 50 of my guests reach out to me telling me it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever been to and the most fun. We had s'mores, bon fire, amazing dance floor, good dessert, popcorn, great drinks and overall an amazing time. The dinner was SO GOOD! I seriously have no complaints, and anytime someone has asked me "did anything go wrong" I say no it was PERFECT. They really have mastered their craft. Love, The Michny's

Sweet pea ranch is the perfect place for a wedding or party. My son just got married there last night. What an amazing time we had. Tess an her team were the best. Food was yummy. Our guest couldn't believe how great it was. This ranch is magical. It's a 10 for us. Thank you all for making our memories the best

Does anyone have a direct number to one of the staff there ? Me and my fiancé recently put a payment for November of 2019? We just want to know if it indeed is closed so we can notify other venue of availability since we where not told this situation

Everyone pretty much ghosts you once they get your deposit. They are very accommodating in front of you/face to face but they do not respond well. Took us a month to get an answer to our questions.

We initially liked the fact that the venue had separate spaces for our guests to experience and explore, and that there was so much variety in the venue's views, from the olive grove, to the Spanish-inspired architecture, to the mountains. As we worked more and more with the team, we also appreciated how organized, thoughtful, and kind Isabela, Ryan, and Kristina were with the actual planning process. Before we booked the venue, we were a little bit hesitant because of some older reviews of the venue mentioned bees and poor management communication led to folks having bad experiences with the venue, but we felt really supported and had all our concerns addressed the entire time. Our guests really appreciated the venues service as well, highlighting how generous the portion sizes were for the serviced dinner. This was a bit of a relief because one of the concerns we had about the venue was meal quality compared to venues like a hotel or a country club that offer full catering in conjunction with operating restaurants on site. I have a slight touch of OCD and examine procurements, labor costs, efficiency, and everything else financial in search of loss and avoidable waste. I tell you this because I consider the selection of a wedding venue to be little more than a business transaction and I do not get emotional in business. I am unlike the standard father-of-the-bride types in this mindset, which will become evident as you read on. Most dads refuse to read the menu from right to left when planning their little girl's big day. You'll find my analytical perspective helpful too...stay with me. When I first walked the property at Padua, I was stunned by the incredible romance and beauty of the location. It stood head and shoulders above the crowd in esthetics alone. None of the other venues we checked out could hold a candle to Padua. It is simply perfect. A warm yet impressive hideaway in the hills with magnificent scenic views, a flawless layout of buildings and open space, splendid lighting and décor inside & out, ample parking and is easily navigated to...close to the freeway but far enough you cannot see or hear it. This place is private! The outside world falls away, Padua resides in a setting of solitude and elegance. It is so unique in design and landscaping I cannot imagine a way they could improve it and I was able to do that with every other wedding venue we inspected. No traffic, no noise, no flyovers by planes, no competing with anything the usual wedding venues are compromised by...Padua is an oasis of tranquility. The multiple locations for the wedding ceremony make it ideal, should your special day experience unexpected weather. Padua has back-ups...no risk of wet guests! The main hall is breathtaking once the tables are decorated and the dancefloor is spacious. Lighting options provide an added bonus and Padua offers so many cool options (that are unavailable at other venues) it will take you a while to hear and see them all. Visit on a day you aren't rushed, you are going to enjoy this. Padua's staff directed us to vendors for an officiant, cigar bar, florist, cakemaker, photographers, DJ and everything else we needed. These people knew the venue inside-out and in working with the highly diligent Padua staff, had everything running like clockwork. Lemme tell ya, weddings can be stressful but when the operation is this closely monitored and run, there is little anxiety. The special effects worked great, the bartenders were fast, personal and well...gorgeous. The management staff at Padua oversaw everything and everyone, and they did it with a caring, softly spoken confidence that made us feel calm and catered to. And our wedding had a lot of add-ons. There seemed to be plenty of things that could go wrong. Nope. This venue is a tightly run ship that even my "observe the system" mentality could not improve. Padua sets the customer care bar so high, other wedding venue staffs need to charter a plane just to see it. Here's the one thing I didn't anticipate. The cost. This venue was so much more than every other location we visited, I expected it to cost double or triple. But they were actually less expensive than some of the hotels, clubhouses and restaurants we shopped. Padua should raise their rates. We got so much more for the money than we would have otherwise...the bean-counter's, bean-counter (me) felt we underpaid and that just never happens. But the one thing I discovered during our event and the one overwhelming takeaway you should glean from this review is every single person working for Padua and those on their referral list CARES ABOUT YOU! They take great pride in what they do, they are on a mission to not merely meet your needs and expectations but to exceed them to such an extent you too will draft a review like this. I don't know how many times I was asked if there was anything I needed, if I had any concerns, was there something they could do for me...these people went well above and beyond all expectations and I am extremely grateful to Padua for making the wedding perfect. And I do not believe perfection is achievable. Padua did it somehow. Looking for a magical location with a five-star staff and so many options you'll be able to create the wedding atmosphere you want (literally any theme) and all at a price you will smile about...Padua Theater is it. I cannot remember the last time I felt I received more than I paid for...and by a large measure. Don't waste your valuable time visiting other venues first like I did...go see Padua first. You'll instantly recognize the other places cannot compete. Not in aesthetics, not in personnel, not in food, not in any way.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ben was hired for my daughters Quince. I didn't want to have to…read moreworry about anything on this special day. In Aug of 2017 I hired LUXE for my event the in July 2018. Below are a few of the issues * Ben said he had other events at this venue, so he would take care of the bartending, no issues. 3 days before the event he told me he couldn't get the license for the event to bartend. He thought he could get by without having the proper ABC license at a city community center? Really? We had to scramble and purchase the alcohol ourselves and then hire a separate bartender. The plan was to have a closed bar. So this caused a lot of issues and additions cost. *Ben was paid an extra fee for "special linens" for the cake,m gift and coffee tables. These were supposed to be above and beyond standard to make it look really nice. What I got instead was cheap white polyester linens. *Ben was also paid extra for a backdrop for the cake and main court table. He didn't supply the backdrop for the cake table at all, and the one he used for the main table looked awful. Bars and other items laying in the back showed up in all of our pictures, ruining them! * After going thru the venue details, Ben said he only needed an hour to prep everything before the start of the event. He then stated if he could get an extra 15 minutes it would help him out. So I paid for an extra 30 minutes to the hall. My event started at 5pm. Now after 6pm he still wasn't done setting up. It took him 2.5 hours to finish setting up. Family and friends starting helping putting linens, center pieces, and plates on the tables to help out. This was quite embarrassing. * After the event was over we had a few hours to get the facility cleaned up. If it was not done in time, I would lose my deposit. Of course this was no skin off of his back. I had to stay and have family and friends assist with the clean up otherwise this company never would have been done in time and I would be out even more money. * Some of my guest also commented that while he was setting up he was helping himself to alcohol! Very unprofessional. * When I spoke to Ben about these issues and let him know I felt I was entitled to some sort of a refund for all of these issues, as others have mentioned her became very defensive and refused and said sue me. He told me I was very ungrateful and was down right rude. He is definitely very unorganized and very unprofessional. Do not risk your precious event and day with this company, you will definitely regret it.

We decided to use his services for an intimate engagement party and we now have him booked for the big day. He was very polite and punctual. He discussed all matters with us prior to and he came through on all of his promises. He was very patient with our guests and held his crew to the same standard he held himself. I never once had to ask him get something done because he was always one step ahead. Looking forward to working with him again.

Through all the changes, Savannah, the wedding coordinator made sure that our wedding day was the day in which we had been dreaming of. Savannah was beyond organized and so kind. She is also so patient in answering all of your questions and meeting with you to go over plans. During COVID she worked on re-decorating and updating the lodge so that it looked even better than we could possibly imagine. If you are looking for a beautiful and rustic wedding venue, I would highly recommend this lodge. Also, the lodge booking comes with all the greatest vendors: For our photographer we had James Tang and he is beyond incredible. He is so energetic and goes above and beyond to get the perfect picture. Our DJ was booked through Lakeside DJ with Frank. He was the best DJ we could have asked for. I highly recommend booking with him as well. Also, Fox in the Woods catering's food is to die for. The brisket melts in your mouth and the potatoes are delicious. Tina was beyond sweet and her food is something that you will never forget. For dessert we went with Espie Cakes. If you are able to book with her, order the brownies. They are the best. Finally, our flowers were through Jasmine Rose Flowers. She goes above and beyond to make the ceremony and reception look the way you have dreamed about.
