    We worked with Erica for day of coordination & event design. I cannot speak highly enough of Erica- she was the absolute best and we love her! She's very sweet and funny, just naturally easy to talk to. The biggest struggle my husband and I were having while planning our wedding was design, so we reached out to Fawn Events for help. Erica took my Pinterest pins and color palette and created a stunning design deck using rentals from the company I work for (MTB Event Rentals). She was always ready to answer my questions and give her opinion when I felt stuck. She was highly organized and ran ahead of schedule which was amazing for me since I like to be ahead of schedule on everything too. Day of, Erica kept everything on schedule and was flexible to allow for my husband and I to have some time to ourselves after the ceremony. She is amazing at what she does, and she's just a great person to be around. I appreciate everything she did for us and for helping us keep our stress levels low. Highly highly recommend :)

    LAURA is a wedding PLANNING & DESIGN WIZARD!!!! If you are looking to throw a super-stylish, swoon-worthy wedding + party, please look no further and book her! From our first phone consultation, Laura asked all the right questions while others didn't, and she really made an effort to understand us as a couple and what we were looking for, and overall seemed super genuine and caring. (Be wary of planners that jump straight into the planning process + pricing!!) We were planning our wedding from the East Coast, and Laura never gave me one ounce of doubt or worry throughout the 6 months of planning. My husband and I had our civil ceremony on 1/4/19 and then had a non-traditional wedding celebration on 11/9/19 with 50 of our closest friends and family in Palm Springs. I was concerned that our reception-only wedding would be awkward and weird, but it turned out so amazing and was seriously one of the best weekends of our lives. Laura always made us feel so special, was constantly thinking five steps ahead, anticipating and breaking down all the pros + cons for us with every big decision, and even analyzing the smallest details with me like what color name cards and fonts to use and making sure the pink tassels on my coconut straws looked perfect. I never felt like any question was too dumb to ask or that I was being too crazy lol, Laura was always such a sweetheart offering solutions to any issues or concerns, wasn't afraid to take charge when she had to, and always calm, cool, collected and just an overall bada** hustler. From the countless hours of emailing to late night phone calls, I definitely told my husband that Laura was my new best friend on more than one occasion! Two months out from our wedding, we had our venue cancel on us abruptly.. leading us into dealing with potential lawsuits + major stress in the midst of what was supposed to be a beautiful planning process. After frantically searching for a few days and her helping me contact venues last minute etc, one of the original venues we had as our top choice miraculously got their event permit just a few weeks prior. We rushed to book the venue and filed in all our paperwork just in time. Laura made another trip out to Palm Springs with us to see that venue in person when she didn't have to, and from there on, everything really started coming together. On the day of, Laura arrived early, took the reins, and literally transformed our venue into a MAGICAL PINK OASIS. Everything was so dreamy and perfect!! She took our wedding as her own, went above and beyond to execute flawlessly + beautifully, and did it all without beating a sweat. And best of all, we didn't have to worry about a thing! Laura was hands-down the best investment and vendor at our wedding... and honestly her prices are too good to be true and worth every single penny.. please tip her!! Side note- as a mom of two young kids + a wife + full-time wedding planner, she is the true definition of boss babe. Thank you, Laura, for being the best wedding planner ever, I really admire your work ethic + your radiant energy is contagious!!! Can't wait to plan something with you again!!

    The amazing team at Fawn Events are all actual magic makers. Everything these fairy godmothers touch glitters (and they are SOOo good with glitter). They are so creative, innovative and all around freaking wonderful to work with. As a wedding photographer, the chance to work with them always makes my day and I recommend them literally to any and everyone I can. Details, color and incredible displays on top of being organized, profession and all around lovely. Fawn Events is it. They are EVERYTHING.

    CANDACE!!! We love you!! You are amazing!!! My husband and I just got married last week 6/15/19 and we can't thank Candace enough for everything she did the day of AND the many months leading up to our wedding! We did our research and were looking for a wedding coordinator a year before our wedding. We spoke with a few different coordinators over the phone and once I got off the phone with Candace I knew she was a perfect fit! She was friendly, positive, upbeat, knowledgeable, and just plain easy to talk to! We could also tell that she knew her stuff and had many great ideas and connections. Candace was always so easy to get a hold of. We had so many productive and funny conversations over the phone and a few fun coffee shop meet ups before the wedding. She always valued what we had to say and we collaborated greatly! Although my husband and I did most of the planning and chose all of our vendors, Candace was essential and great at communicating to all of our vendors and keeping them in the loop about all of the details and logistics. She made many phone calls to ensure we were all on the same page. She even went with us to our floral design meeting and venue final walkthrough! (Which felt like hanging out with a friend by the way) =) The week of the wedding, Candace worked her magic!!!! Final details, layout, seating chart, signage, contracts, vendor questions, communication with the venue, ALL OF THAT AND MORE Candace was on top of it!! Candace went ABOVE AND BEYOND and worked her design magic by creating AND printing our menu cards, designing our table numbers, and letting us use some of her items (candles, easel, etc) And geez.... when it came to the DAY OF the wedding! Candace crushed it!! Everything went so smoothly and I honestly felt like I didn't have to worry about a thing because Candace had it all under control. We had so many compliments about Candace's work ethic the day of the wedding, her calmness, and of course how FUN and CHILL she was. Candace even stayed at our venue after we left to clean up and ensure that all of our items were packed away and safe. All of this with a smile on her face and a "no problem" "of course" "I got your girl"'attitude! :) Working with Candace was truly a blessing and honestly we are so sad that our wedding is over because that means no more working with Candace and chatting with her all the time! Wah! :( I honestly feel like we formed a friendship throughout this entire wedding process. And we'll definitely keep in touch sith If you can't tell by now, CANDACE at Fawn Events is truly amazing and you NEED HER in your wedding life! Thank you for all you do!!     You want Laura and Candace to plan and design your wedding. Trust me! I could not recommend Fawn Events more. They are truly amazing and the most talented and creative planners I've ever seen. Check out all my photos to see their incredible work. They took my vision to a whole other level and turned it into the fairy tale I had always wanted. Leading up to my wedding there were definitely a few struggles but Laura and Candace took care of everything. I was the least stressed out bride you'll ever meet because I knew that they would take care of everything. On my day, everything was absolutely perfect and I could not have done this without Fawn by my side. Look no further than Fawn!     So happy we booked Heather for WTW's month-of package. We were actually looking for a day-of…read morecoordinator but after speaking with Heather, we realized that month-of would be more beneficial especially with vendor logistic/timing (plus WTW prices were reasonable). Heather saw us 2x before the big day: final venue walk through and our rehearsal day. She was super organized during those 2 days and helped guide us with our venue and corral our entire wedding party during the rehearsal. Heather also provided us with a day-of timeline, even for the hours she was not physically at the venue. On the wedding day, she arrived with Annaleise (team member) around 3pm and immediately got to work with the decor set up before our 6pm ceremony. All we had to do was hand over our room key and off they went! To be honest, we were so busy that day that if we didn't have Heather helping us out, I'm not sure how we could've accomplished what we needed to do. No amount of uncles and aunties could've done what WTW did in the same amount of time hah. Plus we had a cocktail hour "flip" during our ceremony, so having WTW help us during that time was crucial. At the end of the night, all our items were returned to vendors or packed away in the boxes we brought them in and stored in our room. During the month of, WTW used Google's suite to keep everything organized and documented, which I found very helpful since its a program that I am familiar with (vs learning a new program). And Heather also provides some rentals if you want to add more to your decor, which was also VERY helpful when we needed more candles and stands. Heather is professional, calm, and assertive. She knows what needs to be done to help make your day run smoothly and is a team player with the vendors and venue. For reference, our wedding was in Riverside, a church ceremony, 8 people in the wedding party, 120 guests, ~10 vendors, plated meals, and a hotel venue reception. We had a couple funky additions in the night which made the reception feel nontraditional, but Heather handled them like it was normal. We haven't received official pictures yet, but when we do, I hope to update this review so any new potential clients can see her magic. Thanks again!!

You can tell from all of her experience that she knows what she's doing. We gave her an idea of the colors we wanted, and she was able to help design flowers and decor (e.g., candles, lanterns) that were better than anything we could have imagined. She was able to work within our budget to still make an absolutely stunning arrangement for both our ceremony and our reception. Even better was that she was able to use a mix of largely silk flowers (which looked gorgeous and cost less) as well as as real flowers for the bridal bouquets and groomsmen flowers, and every last detail looked perfect. She is communicative and flexible with you, and she made the daunting task of choosing wedding flowers into a stress free and beautiful experience. Would highly recommend anyone in the area looking for a florist to go with Brandi and Finishing Touch!

After…read morescheduling an initial consultation with Brandi and meeting her for the first time, we knew we were in great hands. Our initial consultation consisted of an in-person visit to Finishing Touch's showroom where there were samples of various wedding decor set up for you to see! My fiance and I did not have a clear vision of what we wanted besides my main goal: have as many lights as possible. Brandi was AMAZING in showing us pictures of previous work and then creating new ideas that she had never done before to bring my goal to life. Brandi's communication was absolute perfection and she was clear and prompt with all of her responses. I was quite nervous about the fact that none of the actual decor would be seen until the day of the wedding; however, during our final in person consultation, Brandi put my mind at ease with her meticulous review of every floral/decor detail. Fast forward to our actual wedding day and Finishing Touch was at the venue setting up before any of us had arrived. I can confidently say that myself, my husband, and every guest in attendance was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the decor and florals from Finishing Touch. We loved being able to use a vendor that could create their own decor installations, but on top of that they are also professional and expert wedding florists (all of our bouquets and flowers from our decor stayed alive for weeks out of water and in the heat). We can not recommend Finishing Touch enough for bringing our wedding decor dreams to life!

    THANK YOU BONNIE & TEAM FOR THE BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!! I will start this review off by saying…read morethat I photograph weddings, so having a gorgeous scenic spot to marry my boyfriend/fiancé of 11 years was the #1 on our list and The Pond (+ the overcast weather haha) DELIVERED. And the #2 thing on the list was having a variety of backdrops to photograph against which we also found here no question. We first toured The Pond and met with Bonnie (the owner) back in September 2022. We had already toured 5 other venues and this ended up being our second to last tour and last day of touring. The second I stepped on the premise I knew we had found our place. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, breathtaking, and well taken care of. The pond is also full of bright koi fish and other cute little friends like ducks walk around. I felt like we were already late in booking a 2023 date, but to our luck they had May 5, 2023 open which was also 11th anniversary! Easy and done. This hidden gem venue has charm and is the most unique and scenic venue I've ever been to. The main selling points for us in addition to the views were: 1. Full Bridal and Groom houses to relax and get ready in. We each had 8 bridesmaids and groomsmen + our family so it was very important to us that we could find a place that could accommodate our large party to get ready in. They also have separate parking for the wedding party right next to the Bridal/Groom houses and another larger parking lot for guests which is also free for them 2. Fun and unique areas for all of our guests to spread out and explore. Including the gazebo overlooking the pond, fire pit (for s'mores), and cove underneath the gazebo to experience a waterfall. There was also a ton of space for all our vendors to set up including a Boba Table and Photobooth 3. Affordable price that included 1 hour rehearsal the day before, 10 hours on the premise for the wedding, and our package also included the DJ and Bartender team. This was great because those vendors are already used to working with Bonnie's team and DJ Richie killed our lighting throughout the venue as well! They also set up heat lamps for us when it got colder at night 4. DIY everything! I have been looking forward to planning my wedding my whole life and had a lot of decoration and vendor ideas. Bonnie and our Coordinator team (YourDayYourWay) helped make all our ideas and plans come to life and were gracious about accommodating everything we asked for including keeping the sails down in the ceremony space for our photos, letting us do special cups for boba, and letting us choose our catering (5 Elementos Food Truck). The whole event was 100% customized by us and this was so cool since I know a lot of venues have strict rules they never bend. And for anyone who may be deterred reading this because they don't want to DIY everything, I promise the venue still looks great just as it is even without all the extra stuff. Seriously! 5. They allow sparkler exits! Not many venues in CA allow this and I was stoked they had the perfect spot for it If you happen to stumble upon my review and are wondering if you should book The Pond for your next event/wedding, just do it! :D

Although…read moreHeather communicated very well, there were a couple of incidents that I found slightly unprofessional: 1. I signed a contract with one of her staff as my wedding planner. Unfortunately, from my understanding, there were unexpected changes in the company, so Heather had to take over. However, Heather responded that she would make an exception for me and not charge me an additional $1000 for this change. With all due respect, I should not be financially penalized for changes that an owner experiences; especially since I already signed the contract that I financially agreed to. 2. I encountered a lot of life changes that disrupted my ability to move forward with a wedding that my brothers were supposed to be in. For instance, I had a depressed, suicidal brother, I had another brother leave for Japan for the Marines, and I had an uncle pass away. All vendors except for Heather were so kind to fully refund my deposits due to the situation. Unfortunately, Heather responded that she was still a businesswoman and was financially hurting, so she was in no place to offer a full refund. I basically paid Heather almost $500 to establish a simple contract. I already had all the vendors in place and organized, so this deposit was for nothing. Heather should not be held responsible for unexpected circumstances, but this wedding meant a lot to me. As a business owner, you should be able to compromise with your clients based on their situation. I could have easily used that deposit to help my family for the funeral. I find this situation absurd because I never wanted a wedding planner to begin with. Our wedding list was only 32 guests, but my fiancé insisted that we hire a planner because he did not want me to stress out. I admire him for caring, but this wedding was going to be a private and intimate event with very little management. I blame myself for hiring a wedding planner when I did not need one. It is unfortunate that Heather was thinking like a businesswoman and not a human being with empathy. Nonetheless, please make sure to ask about the refund policy for emergencies such as death, health, etc. Two stars are for her communication, but I can only evaluate Heather based on my experience with her before the wedding date. Therefore, I am unable to provide feedback for her day service since my wedding never happened. Has it ever occurred to you, Heather, that you had not heard from me in a year because I was busy dealing with other important things like planning a funeral? My wedding was the last thing on my mind. Also, I was not complaining about the charge that never happened, I am complaining about your response to your changes. There was no need to comment on that you are more expensive and won't be charging me. We could have proceeded forward with whatever it was we were doing. You contacted ONE venue and that is because they had YOU sign a contract with them. FYI, my pre-engagement photos were scheduled with the photographer I hired for my wedding and I was still refunded the full amount. This vendor did not work for free either and still managed to prioritize customer service over money. You are a business owner and have the liberty to do as you please, but you must have needed the money more than I did, so I hope my contributions helped your business. Nonetheless, well done on your communication. If you have a family member with a life-threatening illness or you have a medical condition that may require potential hospitalization, please do not hire Heather as your wedding planner as she will not refund you the deposit because not make exceptions for your situation simply because she does not "work for free." I found Heather through Yelp and let me say: she really understood my vision and kept it real with me on what i could and couldn't afford lol. Not to mention, I literally and honestly don't know how I could have enjoyed my wedding without Heather. Her and her assistant, Courtney, handled E V E R Y T H I N G on the day of our wedding at the Estate on Second and then some. If there was any sort of problem, she had the solution. If we needed a drink, she was there with mine and my husband's signature cocktails. If I was losing track of time, she made sure to gently push me along. She truly handled everything so that me and my husband could just have FUN and for that I am truly grateful.
