We hired her upon the recommendation of one of my friends. Her design vision, network of vendors, sweet and calming demeanor, and quick thinking led us to have a stress-free rainy wedding. We worked with Erica for day of coordination & event design. I cannot speak highly enough of Erica- she was the absolute best and we love her! She's very sweet and funny, just naturally easy to talk to. The biggest struggle my husband and I were having while planning our wedding was design, so we reached out to Fawn Events for help. Erica took my Pinterest pins and color palette and created a stunning design deck using rentals from the company I work for (MTB Event Rentals). If I could sum up what Erica @ FAWN created for us in a sentence... the dreamiest, most magical day with every little detail to perfection. But, I don't need to sum it up in a sentence, so here's a few of the one million reasons why Erica (FAWN) was the best decision we made related to our wedding (besides each other LOL). I was so hesitant to book a wedding planner. I am a classic Type A, and I have a hard time letting go or not being in full control - especially in relation to something as important to me as my wedding. From my very first conversation, I knew that I'd be in amazing and very patient hands with Erica. We were planning an across the country wedding, and it simply wasn't possible for me to make the kind of decisions I'd need to in order to keep pace in planning + working a full-time job. Wedding planning really is a full-time job (#1). That's why you hire a planner. Stop questioning if it's worth it. I promise you it is! It's impossible to know where to start when it comes to sourcing vendors, even in cities you're very familiar with. The FAWN team has such a great database of recommendations and tools to help you curate your perfect fit of wedding vendors. Erica guided us through this from the biggest to smallest of vendors. The level of detail is beyond (#2). Down to me sending pictures of my hair and make-up inspo and guiding me on who would work best for my glam vision. I leaned on Erica heavily to help me understand where to splurge and where to save. She nailed all of her recommendations and no doubt steered me away from mistakes I could've made along the selection process. LAURA is a wedding PLANNING & DESIGN WIZARD!!!! If you are looking to throw a super-stylish, swoon-worthy wedding + party, please look no further and book her! From our first phone consultation, Laura asked all the right questions while others didn't, and she really made an effort to understand us as a couple and what we were looking for, and overall seemed super genuine and caring. (Be wary of planners that jump straight into the planning process + pricing!!) We were planning our wedding from the East Coast, and Laura never gave me one ounce of doubt or worry throughout the 6 months of planning. My husband and I had our civil ceremony on 1/4/19 and then had a non-traditional wedding celebration on 11/9/19 with 50 of our closest friends and family in Palm Springs. I was concerned that our reception-only wedding would be awkward and weird, but it turned out so amazing and was seriously one of the best weekends of our lives. Laura always made us feel so special, was constantly thinking five steps ahead, anticipating and breaking down all the pros + cons for us with every big decision, and even analyzing the smallest details with me like what color name cards and fonts to use and making sure the pink tassels on my coconut straws looked perfect. I never felt like any question was too dumb to ask or that I was being too crazy lol, Laura was always such a sweetheart offering solutions to any issues or concerns, wasn't afraid to take charge when she had to, and always calm, cool, collected and just an overall bada** hustler. From the countless hours of emailing to late night phone calls, I definitely told my husband that Laura was my new best friend on more than one occasion! Two months out from our wedding, we had our venue cancel on us abruptly.. leading us into dealing with potential lawsuits + major stress in the midst of what was supposed to be a beautiful planning process. After frantically searching for a few days and her helping me contact venues last minute etc, one of the original venues we had as our top choice miraculously got their event permit just a few weeks prior. We rushed to book the venue and filed in all our paperwork just in time. Laura made another trip out to Palm Springs with us to see that venue in person when she didn't have to, and from there on, everything really started coming together. On the day of, Laura arrived early, took the reins, and literally transformed our venue into a MAGICAL PINK OASIS. Everything was so dreamy and perfect!! She took our wedding as her own, went above and beyond to execute flawlessly + beautifully, and did it all without beating a sweat. And best of all, we didn't have to worry about a thing! Laura was hands-down the best investment and vendor at our wedding... and honestly her prices are too good to be true and worth every single penny.. please tip her!! CANDACE!!! We love you!! You are amazing!!! My husband and I just got married last week 6/15/19 and we can't thank Candace enough for everything she did the day of AND the many months leading up to our wedding! We did our research and were looking for a wedding coordinator a year before our wedding. We spoke with a few different coordinators over the phone and once I got off the phone with Candace I knew she was a perfect fit! She was friendly, positive, upbeat, knowledgeable, and just plain easy to talk to! We could also tell that she knew her stuff and had many great ideas and connections. Candace was always so easy to get a hold of. We had so many productive and funny conversations over the phone and a few fun coffee shop meet ups before the wedding. She always valued what we had to say and we collaborated greatly! Although my husband and I did most of the planning and chose all of our vendors, Candace was essential and great at communicating to all of our vendors and keeping them in the loop about all of the details and logistics. She made many phone calls to ensure we were all on the same page. She even went with us to our floral design meeting and venue final walkthrough! Hiring Fawn Events was the best decision. Candace set us up with Hannah, one of their lead coordinators and we could not have been more happy! Hannah is not only an incredibly organized and effective communicator, but she had a special ability to absorb any stress and pressure we felt leading up to the day of the event so that we literally didn't have to think about anything with respect to vendors, setup, breakdown and many other intangibles. She took the reins out of our hands and essentially made it smooth sailing the moment our contract kicked in. We sent her tons of email, design changes to the venue and things we can't even remember but she accounted for every detail beyond our expectations. Thanks to our boss babe coordinator Candace, our wedding on 8/18/18 was just MAGIC. I had contact Candace a year out as we were starting to embrace the initial waves of ideas that were coming in. All we had was our venue, but I knew having a coordinator was an absolute essential (AND IT IS, PLEASE do it for your sanity brides!) From the very first phone call to our last, Candace has been nothing but patient, understanding, hilarious, accommodating, and creative. Although I had a vision, she was able to refine it and make it work to our budget and time constraints. They literally only had about 3 hours to setup but Candace as always hustles and finds a way to do the damn thing. And she always does it well! Candace's positive attitude, imagination, and detail-oriented sight made it SO easy for me. I was finishing up my last semester of graduate school, working full-time, and doing clinicals, so I did not have any time to spare until two weeks before my wedding date. Candace's network to vendors, access to digital planning tools, and responsiveness were the biggest blessings.
