Robbie and his team went over and above to make sure my daughter's graduation party was perfect! We had multiple meetings leading up to the party and they made sure every detail was covered. Robbie the owner promises a lot of what you want to hear about being there for you on your special wedding day and not worrying about anything, from calling vendors,being there all day, and detail detail detail for your wedding day. Did not get what I signed up for and paid in full for...I got a time line and that's about it! He Showed up late on wedding day and wanted to leave early! All vendors were not called on 3 days in advance like promised by Robbie to check about delivery and product, as a result had 3 major trucks in the driveway all at once. Paid in full didn't want to refund any or partial for not living up to his contract. Please be wise and talk to other Cordinator's and don't pay in full until after the event! read more

Next Step Events was responsible for all the decor, cake, flowers and day of wedding coordinating for our wedding in September of 2015. The decor was more than I could have ever imagined. I let Robbie (owner) take the reigns on all things decor and flowers since that's not really my thing. When I saw the reception area for the first time I was in awe. He made it elegant with personal touches. Initially, we had a cake ordered and planned, but a week before the wedding the baker canceled on us. Excuses, excuses! If you are aiming toward your big event and you want to avoid Amateur Hour, avoid Robbie. Not only did he show up late for my son's wedding, he provide literally no value once on site. Once he was on site (late I might add) he showed up t-shirt and jeans, claiming he was under the weather. Dude, suck it up. You're not injured, learn to play hurt. Robbie made excuse after excuse for non performance before, during and after the event. Rather than focus on what his contracted duties were, Robbie whined a lot about his situation. Robbie did offer his assistant who was completely unprepared and was more lost than helpful. Neither offered to help the bride on her special day...neither offered to assist the mother of the bride. So who steps in? The Caterer and the bride to be's Auntie and a team of Bridesmaids. When Robbie was asked to refund a portion of his fee, so it could be given to the real workers who actually earned it that day he refused. If Robbie was a stand up guy, and wanted to do the right thing, he would have offered to compensate the Caterer for doing his job. read more

At first, I thought I could handle planning everything on my own, but I decided to meet with Robbie just to see what services he provided. After one meeting I realized I needed his company! He is seriously the best in the business. Robbie thinks of every little detail, from the venue to the cake to the flowers and even down to the toasting glasses. He checked in with me frequently to make sure I wasn't stressing out about anything but also to make sure that we were still on our timeline. He went to every meeting with me (for the venue, flowers, etc.) and I am so thankful. He read through contracts and asked questions that I didn't even think to ask! The wedding went off so smoothly and even though there were a few issues, he made sure that I knew nothing about them and he handled everything on his own so that I could be stress-free! Even after the wedding, he tied up a couple of loose ends for me (issues with the venue) while we were on our honeymoon. As far as pricing, Robbie is on-par with the rest of the market.
