I should have written a review last year when my oldest daughter was married at Indian Hills. Jennifer and her staff took very good care of us! Every wedding comes with its unforeseen circumstances, but it's the way it was handled is what counts! We provided the stands for the dessert table and they were so flimsy and falling over. The ceremony was about to start and it was a mess! They jumped in and just fixed it! My wife was more than happy with the way they arranged the table! Me and my Husband were supposed to get married there last year in May 2020. But due to the Pandemic, we couldn't get married.. So Wedgewood Weddings let us changed our date for May 16th of 2021. We were so happy, even though we couldn't invite a lot of people. We only invited about 28 people... They accommodate you really well. The Food and the Wedding Cake was really good!! We had a very positive experience at Indian Hills Golf Club working with Priscilla. We had a District meeting of around 40 people. Priscilla was very responsive to calls, texts and emails. She was helpful in coordinating the room setup and made suggestions to enhance the room decor. The food was also good. Overall it was a very positive experience which made for a good meeting. I can't believe my kids just celebrated their first anniversary a week ago. This facility is where it all started, March 2019. The process was practically painless. As the Mother in Law (and a very good one at that), I was the only mother able to be present, to be able to give support through the planning part (as her mother lived in the Philippines). I was able to take it all in, completely without stress, as our wedding coordinator seamlessly guided us through the complicated process. I truly appreciated that no decisions had to be made by me, give or take a few minor suggestions. It freed me up to a enjoy the wedding as a guest rather than a frazzled family member. My future daughter in law made a very good choice in choosing this venue. About 6 months before the wedding, the bride and groom and my husband and I were invited to attend a special event sponsored by them. They set aside a singular day for all their customers to come and learn about their options. This was how we were able to choose with confidence our vendors, like a DJ, a non-ecumenical pastor, bakery, photographer, etc. , they highly recommended as reliable. And for those who wished to employ someone else, you are not obligated to go with their recommendations, with the exception of using only their caterer for the food. It certainly helped narrow it down to a manageable level. This event hosted about 30 (?) families, and included, for a decent fee, a buffet style tasting of the cuisine they offered. There were vendor tables even offering cake. Our family is quite a bunch of picky foodies, which could have been problematic, but on the important day, the wedding, there were no complaints. The food was good. It was a very positive experience and made the choices much easier. Every detail was handled in a very professional manner. The venue itself (landscaping, outdoor wedding gazebo, surrounding hilltop views, and large, well equipped and maintained facility) was beautiful, functional, with easy access, with handicap access, and plenty of parking. All in all, it was a delightful wedding that will bring back the best of memories. read more

We had our ceremony here last week, just as the world was shutting down. We had planned it for 2 years, and dealt with 5 different sales representatives (Karina, Veronica, Eileen, Sam, and Amia), so we got to know the place pretty well. Everyone was super-friendly, and as helpful as they could be. We met the head chef CJ, who is also a class act, and offered to do a tasting for us to try some of the foods he didn't get to prepare at the vendor event. We also used Wedgewood's preferred photographer (John W), their DJ (DJ Cesar), the florist (Events by Floral Sensations) and their cakery (Cucamonga). We haven't gotten our photos yet, but our experience with all of the vendors was one of excellence - they were professional, friendly, affordable, and extremely competent. Yosi, our photographer, was on point. DJ Cesar was incredibly responsive to our needs. Robert at EFS was so kind, and created a gorgeous chuppah from scratch. And the cake was absolutely delicious. We actually started out without the add-ons, hoping to find a better deal ourselves, but we quickly found out that Wedgewood Indian Hills really does work with the best. As the date neared, our guest count dropped precipitously due to panic over Covid-19. The ladies at Wedgewood were incredibly understanding and accommodating as we consolidated tables. When the day came, our coordinator Cassy was organized and did everything right to make it run smoothly. We danced the night away with the guests who did come, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. One of the reasons we picked Indian Hills was the stage, and it was the perfect size for our six-piece band, The Lucky Devils Band (who are amazing, btw!) I should also mention that the ceremony site is incredibly beautiful. One of the prettiest we've seen in SoCal, and we visited nearly 2 dozen before picking Indian Hills. Our only complaint was the number of times that our point of contact left or got promoted, and the lack of communication when that happened. However, considering how accommodating and friendly everyone was, it seems a rather minor point. read more

Since the beginning Jennifer was so helpful and patient, she answered all of our questions and never seemed to be bothered by it. Seeing that we just started planning our mom's 90th birthday celebration in April and knowing how far in advance venues can get booked, we were so excited that Indian Hills Event Center was available this past Labor Day weekend! Our family had a wonderful time celebrating our mom's 90th birthday in the Sunset Room! Coordinator Jennifer was experienced, extremely accommodating, and very communicative, especially as the event date neared. She even offered their available supplies as centerpieces so that we didn't need to spend anything extra in that regard. And, she allowed us to come in the night before and early the day of the event to set up and decorate. The waitstaff was friendly and efficient, and the chef was amazing! I've planned a good number of large family events (over 140 people). And often, while on the day of the food sampling the food is delicious, the food on the actual event date is disappointing. Not this time! Everything was fresh and delicious! We went with the Italian Buffet. So many of our guests commented on how good the food was! just got married here on Friday! 5-21-21. It was amazing! The price is very reasonable considering how much weddings cost! And it's all inclusive too! Flowers, cake, dj, food, etc. every vendor I worked with was either great to extremely great! Cake was gorgeous. And delicious. Food was to die for. The chef was a sweetheart. I wanted to extend the biggest thank you for the care and hospitality that Franklin and Indian Hills showed my sisters yesterday as they toured the venue. Since me and my fiancé can't physically be there it is very important to me that my family feels welcomed and comfortable as they will be a liaison for us in many matters during this process. During my wedding planning process I thought I knew exactly what I wanted. I narrowed down to 5 venues after gathering pricing and reviews. I thought wedgewood would be the top choice however after visiting it went straight to the bottom. In fact we couldn't even consider it a choice, we left it on board as a last resort if we couldn't find anything when the time came. I liked that you pretty much get everything with wedgewood however after comparing numbers wedgewood would have been the most expensive so you really don't get a good value. You just get less stress for not booking separate vendors but it does come at a cost. The photos of this location make it look very nice and I liked the idea of being able to use a second room for photobooth and games. But when we got here it looked nothing like the photos made it look. The room was super plain. It was just a regular plain conference room which is exactly what we didn't want. It would been more money to drape the room and do what we needed to actually make it look like a wedding venue. I was also expecting the ceremony area outdoor to be larger and gazebo was kinda outdated. The main issue for us that we decided to pretty much eliminate it as a choice was the sales persons attitude which I'm sure comes directly from pressure from corporate. To put it in perspective we toured another local all inclusive golf course wedding venue (which was beautiful and cheaper and was our top choice!) and the sales person was very clear that the company would not keep our money or make it difficult to postpone especially in the event that local mandates make the wedding we want impossible. At wedgewood we were literally told there was no postponement because if they don't keep our money, they would go out of business. They were forcing couples into shitty weddings. After our tour I was contacted because they had entered red tier and was told everyone has to wear masks including bride and groom and there would be no dancing whatsoever. Also if you don't want a wedding with no dancing oh well, too bad you're not getting your money back. I can only assume all locations are operating this way so I'd stay far away from wedgewood and at the least stay away from this location. It is so ugly and plain and old, if you have to get robbed at least do it with a pretty newer venue read more

I am going to write this from the father of the bride perspective and the officiant. I have been part of many weddings as the officiant. By the time the bride gets to the place where the wedding is anout to happen they are so stressed out. They've had to make a million decisions and make a million phone calls from the caterer, photographer to the flowers. A lot of people get involved and it is just a stressful event for everybody.This was not that event. At times we even forgot that there was a wedding being plan because it was so easy for my daughter and her soon to be husband. My daughter even said that it was a fun process. One of my daughter's friends was getting married close the same time and she was literally pulling her hair out trying to arrange all of these tiny moving parts at a different location. That was not so for my daughter. The day started off very casual in the morning and then we moved over to the location to get ready. Everything, and I will emphasize that word , was ready to go. Chairs were set up, music was already playing and the Coordinator, Eileen, was on it. The DJ had a lapel Mic for me to officiate the wedding and a handheld mic for when the vowels were being read. After the ceremony the photos were seamless and only took a 1/2 an hour. They were even kind enough to bring out horderves to the wedding party so we did not miss out on that. The party afterwords went so well. DJ Caesar did an excellent job keeping the party going and it was one of the 1st weddings where 98% of the people were dancing. We even had an open bar. If you are looking for the perfect location, perfect budget and low stress wedding then this is the place to go. I cannot say enough good things about this location and how wonderful and cheerful all the staff were including the security guard. Excellent job Wedgewood. read more

Our wedding turned out beautiful, but I would probably recommend going elsewhere. A wedding is arguably one of the most important days of your life, so my wife and I were fine it's spending a good amount of money to have a great experience, however going through Wedgewood was probably not the best way to go. **The Good** I cannot day enough about DJ Ceasar. My emails to him were always returned quickly and respectfully. He delivered everything we asked for and more. He basically coordinated the whole reception for us and he did a phenomenal job. He made sure activities flowed throughout the night. While planning we decided that music was one of the most important details of our wedding, and I could not have imagined another DJ who could have done it as well or better as DJ Ceasar. I would hire him again and again. The food was pretty good. The food served at the cocktail hour was my favorite. We also did appreciate having our meals wrapped up for us after the reception. ** The Bad** Overall, I feel that this venue could use a facelift if you will. Much of the grass is dead and brown. I'm a little nervous that It showed up in the photos. The carpet is terrible too. I had to ask the photographers and videographer to avoid getting the carpet in the footage. I was told by several guests that the woman's restroom smelled awful. My new wife explained it smelling like a liter box. Not something you want to hear when you are paying as much as we did. Some of the vendors they partner with are incredibly questionable. The florist they recommended-Bellarue is absolutely horrible. I will include pictures of what we asked for and what they sent in response. If we would not have asked to see a sample of their work before going with them it could have easily been ruined. The centerpieces were that awful! Lastly, and probably most importantly when you work with an all inclusive venue, such as Wedgewood, one of the main perks is the coordination services. It is the primary reason we booked with them! What a shame that it was because Wedgewood Indian Hills coordinators are probably the worst in the industry. I mean they have to be. I'm begins with the manager-who introduced himself to us at least five different occasions- all the way down to the coordinators who clearly do not communicate with one another. There was a MAJOR communication problem between all who work there which makes planning a wedding very uncertain and difficult. When we signed the contract we were given the impression that we would have a very hands-on staff. They said they would send us monthly reminders of what wedding tasks that need to be done. We received maybe one and that was only after we inquired about when to do it. We went to multiple in person meetings with the coordinators to answer questions about the details of our day. To this day I have NO IDEA where ANY of that information went. It made me feel like we wasted a trip to Riverside and our time since none of it was apparently documented. We spent at least a couple hours working with the coordinators weeks prior only to be asked the SAME questions the day before our wedding at the rehearsal dinner in front of our wedding party. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!! It caught us off guard considering we had spent our time discussing this previously. They had to be reminded of important details such as a memorial table several times. That was something that was pretty important to us, so for it to be forgotten and not set up was disappointing. Luckily they got it together the day of the wedding and set it up. I really question how much experience Veronica has coordinating weddings because she seemed to have no clue. From running the rehearsal to the actual wedding day, she seemed to have trouble. It seemed that she was bothered about anything we had asked for. During the reception some of the seat covers came up and we had asked if she could adjust them. She did not even attempt to fix it and just told us they were ripped... We checked later and they were not ripped and could have been fixed. Thanks for trying Veronica! In the middle of our reception she came up to our table and told us she was "clocking out." This was a little unsettling, when the person who is supposed to be in charge of the event clocks out.. However, it actually made our night go a lot more smoothly. DJ Ceasar was all over it. When working with this venue also expect to pay a lot for "upgrades" for items that you would think would be part of the package.. With that being said we had brought some of our own decorations and seat covers. The staff assured us they would call us if anything was left behind. There was in fact some of our items left behind and we did not receive a call. While we were on our honeymoon our maid of honor even reached out to the venue to set up a time to pick up these items and her phone calls were ignored and messages were never returned. read more

I am so thankful we chose this venue for our special day. From the first day we visited the staff here was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The day of was so special and mostly because they made sure me and my husband were taken care of the entire time. All of our guests enjoyed themselves too. In spite of the wind interference of our outdoor ceremony, staff had a back up plan to host our ceremony indoors which was equally as beautiful. Now that the wedding is all said and done, I can finally leave an actual review of everything. Let me start off by saying Netta, Beth, and Danielle are seriously the best team ever! Our day went perfect because of Netta. All the little things that would have destroyed the day for any other bride was no big deal to me. Netta made things blend seamlessly throughout the night. We actually ended up 30 minutes behind in the ceremony because no one has shown up in time yet somehow we managed to only be 3 minutes behind when it came to entering the reception, how does that even happen? Everything was perfect! The DJ was great, Robert (the florist) was out of this world, we freaking love him so much! The room looked amazing! I brought in all of my own props that I personally made and everything went so well together. I left detailed notes as to how we wanted everything set up and they followed them spot on. It was so nice, I didn't stress about anything. I never had to get in touch with the vendors to make sure they would show at any point in the planning process. We drove up and the room was set and ready to go. The cake was in place, the floral was set perfectly, and the room was complete. I worried about nothing! The bridal suite was set up for us to change complete with glasses and a bottle of wine. I actually had no intentions on drinking mainly because my sister-in-law was worried about how we would look in pictures but looking back now, I wish I would have had a least some sort of drink while in the bridal suite besides water. We ended up booking our officiant via the venue since the family friend we had couldn't make it, he was great! We sent him the reading we wanted and he followed it word for word. We did a comedic ceremony, it was a major hit! After the "I Do's" they immediately greet the bride and groom with a platter of your appetizers and the two drinks talked about at the final meeting 10 days before the wedding. Seriously, if we had to do it all over again, I know for sure we would stick with the same location/company. We booked back in Aug. 2012 and no matter how many emails I sent asking questions, they answered every single one of them almost immediately. I'm actually currently going to school for Event Management and would love to work at a Wedgwood location soon. read more

I had my 30th birthday party in March, and I fell in love with this place on sight! I was having a relatively small party with no sit down dinner, just appetizers and cocktails. Every other place I went was overcharging me and requiring extra things like a red carpet (!) or additional appetizers to cover the cost instead of sit-down meals. Each coordination meeting went off without a hitch and everyone (Netta & Beth I remember specifically) was able and willing to accommodate my smaller party (about 70 people). The day of, I arrived and everything was spectacular! Having coordinated many, many events in the past, including catering, decoration, ticketing, arrangements, etc., I was nervous at how little work I actually had to do! Less people were dancing than I anticipated, so I made a request for more chairs, and SHAZAM! More chairs appeared! I cut my birthday cake and ABRACADABRA, cake appeared sliced and served to my guests! I can't recommend Wedgewood enough. I got a follow up call and email maybe a week or so later. My photographer sent me pictures and I just can't gush enough about how pretty the place was! My husband and I got married in June of 2015 and our experience with Wedgewood was amazing from start to finish! Beth & Netta were the two ladies in charge and they did everything! My husband and I got engaged in April and decided to have a wedding before moving out of state for his new job. This meant we had 8 weeks to plan it! I knew I couldn't pull it off on my own, so I made an appointment with Wedgewood (found them on Yelp) and was immediately impressed. The packages are customizable and we only paid for what we really wanted (I say we, but it was I. He didn't really want to help plan and I was okay with that). I even got a deal for booking as a short term bride. They were very flexible at accommodating my vegan wedding too, which would have been hard elsewhere. I did have a few outside vendors (for cake and photography), but I did go with the DJ and florist they recommended. I was very happy with both. My only negative feeling towards the DJ service was they didn't respect our wish to have a religious-free wedding (telling my guests and myself God Bless, when we said we were having a secular wedding). Not a huge deal, but definitely something they could be more aware of. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place. And ladies, don't forget to bring a cooler outfit just in case you get too hot in your wedding dress. It was June and the A/C was on full blast, but it was still pretty warm and my dress was so heavy that I was roasting (dancing makes you hot too). My ONLY suggestion for Wedgewood is to make sure they don't make announcements for golf during a wedding ceremony. We had an interruption, but it was very brief. This place has 5 stars for a reason. Planning our daughter's wedding was amazingly easy thanks to the staff at Wedgewood! Friends would ask me over the last few months, "How's the wedding planning? Are you guys stressed?" I always felt a little guilty answering, "Not at all! We found an all-inclusive venue that's made it SO easy!" It was so convenient to have a "one-stop" including the venue, food, drinks, flowers, decor, DJ, etc. I kept waiting for the proverbial other shoe to drop. I thought, "something has to go wrong, right?" NO, it definitely does not. One of the most stressful parts of my son's wedding (at another venue 5 years ago) was the coordinator who went missing in action. But at Wedgewood, our coordinator Eileen was SUPER attentive and a calming presence. She introduced us to her assistant (Cecilia?) and the two of them made sure our every need was attended to. One of my daughter's fears was that she would miss our on her hors d'ouvres so Debbie brought some out to the wedding party and family during portraits! What service! When I saw the DJ was an older gentleman I thought, "Well, here is where it might potentially go wrong." BUT again, I was pleasantly surprised! He was one of the most fun DJs I've ever seen. He was funny, on top of the timing, attentive to details and played music that kept all of our guests dancing until the end. As a mother of the bride and a wedding photographer who's seen LOTS of weddings, I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to any bride. About a year ago we visited Wedgewood Indian Hills, we knew that day we wanted to have our wedding at this place. We had our ceremony outside. They have a beautiful view of hills and trees. We had our reception indoors. The setup was exactly what we asked for. Our wedding day was STRESS FREE! Our wedding coordinator, Eileen was amazing! She made sure everything was perfect and made sure we wouldn't worry about anything. Our Captain Vanessa was awesome! She always made sure we had a drink in our hand, which my husband and I enjoyed. Call this place for a possible venue for my wedding. When I called they asked me my date I gave it to them and told them it wasn't a flexible date. They told me the date was available at this location and schedule me a tour for the following day. I drove from San Diego to riverside 2 hour drive when I got there they said my date wasn't available and tried to convince me to change my date. This place wasted my time and gas. They had my date on the paperwork from the phone call and knew the date and still had me drive there knowing they were not available. Not cool at all read more

This venue is very unprofessional. I had set a date aside with a deposit and they called me 3 months before my date and let me know that they were going with another couple because they had a check with the full amount. They didn't give me any options or compensation for leaving me WITHOUT a place to get married. I do not recommend this place. They work off commissions and obviously will disregard prior commitments.... at least they gave me my deposit back. Make sure you have the full amount going in or you might lose your spot. read more

My husband I got married here on June 16, 2018. It was perfect. We were so happy with the service and how accommodating they were from the first meeting all the way through to the big day. Franklin was absolutely friendly and saw to it that we were happy and enjoyed our special day. Our guests kept raving about the food when we saw them after the wedding. I was a little bummed when they took photos of our wedding off their Instagram page. I think it was because we used our own vendors so there was no marketing there & I did not save them in time. My wedding was in March and we had the best experience! Eileen and Alex are amazing. They made the entire wedding process so easy and organized. From the very beginning, Wedgewood cared about our wedding vision and helped us through every step of the way. Rehearsal was fun and helped us tie any lose ends. One of the best decisions I made when it came to my wedding was the decision to have the reception at Wedgewood Indian Hills! They really make it easy to get it all done and are super accommodating and helpful! They provide a detailed binder to help make choices from things such as music and food selections. We had booked with Beth but then worked more with Veronica and later with Brittany. All of them were wonderful! Could not sing their praises enough! The way the wedding turned out was perfect down to the last detail! They were always willing to accommodate what we wanted and tried their very best to ensure our perfect day! They were always very responsive to my emails and calls and always willing to help! It was also super helpful to go with a place that allowed you to customize your package and change as you go! Through Wedgewood you don't really have to find any outside vendors if you don't want to! They are able to arrange the basics such as food, tables, and linens and then also they have preferred vendors such as photography, cake, dj, etc. We ended up going with Wedgewood DJ, DJ Caesar. He was perfect! He really knows what he is doing and is beyond professional! He was a huge part in what made our wedding what it was! He was so nice and always was making sure we were having a good time! He even went so far as to create a list of questions for the wedding shoe game that I wanted to play but didn't get around to finding questions for! We could not have been happier with the DJ choice! On the wedding day Veronica and the banquet captain Eilleen were very attentive and always checking on us to see if we needed anything! It was so nice to know we were being taken care of! The food was fantastic! So many of our guests complimented the food and said it was some of the best food they'd ever had at a wedding! We had the chicken Marsala with mushrooms and a round of beef as part of the buffet. Everything tasted delicious and their was a good array of food to choose from! The venue itself it so great in that it is what you make it to be! With all of the decor, centerpieces and tables set up it really looked amazing! The view is also wonderful as they have large windows to showcase the city lights below. In terms of value, I would say it was excellent! Not the cheapest but far from the most expensive! They work with you to ensure you stay within your budget and with their customizable packages it is very easy to do so! Overall I am beyond thrilled with how the wedding turned out! We could not have been happier and are so thankful to everyone at Wedgewood who helped make our special day even greater! read more
