Just had my wedding at Crestmore Manor on 2/6/26 and it was everything I dreamt of and more! We booked our venue early, I think August 2024 and before that had gone to a few of their open houses (I highly recommend doing that because I found my coordinator, photographer and videographer, invites and catering during their open houses). I did go in a couple more times after booking to get pictures of the venue too and everyone was also super kind those times too. The Last month leading up to the wedding Put me into more communication with the venue, specifically Teresita who was so helpful! Teresita always answered my emails quickly, was kind when I needed to make some last minute changes to my layout and was super great during the rehearsal and day of the wedding. She really was the best! And the team that worked at our wedding were all amazing as well! On top of that, the venue is gorgeous! We got married in front of the manor, had cocktail hour in the center of the venue, and had the reception in the carriage house. It's such an amazing setup for any wedding. The property is amazing and the perfect backdrop for pictures too. Hard liquor isn't allowed in the venue but it honestly was not missed. This venue is DIY so you bring your own vendors but like I said, they have open houses with vendors and it's a great place to meet some (it's honestly so helpful when the vendors know the property). Their pricing online is very easy to find so no trying to guess how much it is like a lot of venues. The getting ready suites are super cute and perfect to set up in. And if your reception is inside the carriage house then it comes with tables and chairs. I think if there was one thing I would change it is that I wish we could have earlier access to the venue or be able to leave stuff for the wedding the night before. I will say a strong group of vendors does help with this so make sure you choose well. But overall, I would get married here again! I truly feel like our wedding day was perfect! Came here for a wedding. It seemed a bit eerie to me with the architecture of the structure and the pond. The reception room was nice and clean though. It was very spacious in my opinion. I thought the front of the building could be cleaned up a bit especially for a wedding ceremony, there's like spider webs at the top in plain view. To me, it looked like a funeral setting, so bit sire I'd recommend it here for happy events lol. read more

Let me start by saying, I am a full time wedding DJ and have been for 5 years in the Temecula Wine country area. So I know what I should/should not expect from a venue like this. This Venue may look beautiful and have a great bathroom situation, But the staff is HORRIBLE. They tried to cancel our wedding on three separate occasions WITHOUT so much as a courtesy call or email. This was all within 90 days of getting married. What they put in there system vs what was told to us was different as far as payment due dates and insurance due dates ETC. Then whenever we would try and pay we would be told that they couldn't accept it for XYZ reason. It just seemed like nobody wanted us to be there. They gave us issues with setting up chairs for the ceremony because we wanted them facing the lake as opposed to the manor. (Still on the concrete, just flipped around) They do not provide a sweetheart table, so we had to bring in our own. (We asked multiple times). ALL drinks must be served through a window outside of the reception hall which means guests have to walk outside every time they would like a drink. We got locked out of the grooms suite on my wedding date, and no staff was around to let us in. That lock probably needs to be replaced. We were also told that the person who sold us the wedding (Rebekah) no longer worked there, and that was what was causing the confusion. So I decided to go stop by to make sure everything was set for our date (After finally being able to get through to someone to take our card) and I see Rebekah. So that was clearly a lie. The staff was absolutely rude anytime we wanted to do a walkthrough. We were so fed up that my wifes dad actually went to the venue, and called them on his phone while in the lobby to see if they answered. And they ignored BOTH him and the phone call which he could clearly see. If you want a DIY wedding I would recommend you look elsewhere. To me this is a venue, owned by the county or city, used for those events, and they thought they could make a quick buck hosting private events. DO NOT BOOK HERE. read more

My husband and I had our wedding here a year ago and had a great experience. Jennifer was helpful and made the process as easy as possible. The space was clean and our vendors were able to set up without any issues. We really enjoyed the flexibility of being able to hire any vendors we wanted. You pay for the space and that is it. The venue itself is beautiful, but it isn't managed well. When we arrived, the reception area wasn't set up yet even though the contract states: "A standard event layout for the inside of the Carriage House will be provided to the event holder(s). o The standard event layout will be set-up prior to decorating time." They claimed they didn't know if we would be setting up inside or outside....it's literally something you have to fill out on the contract, so of course they knew. I'd say it's possible they got confused because I did email Jennifer on 3/28 asking about using the outside area, but I never got a response. Paying was never easy. It took several emails to arrange payments. The only time someone actually called me to take the payment (instead of me initiating) was for the security deposit. Another issue was ants. There was a huge trail of giant ants in front of the manor. We didn't see these before the ceremony but, as I got to the altar, (we opted to set up in front of the pond), I looked down and they were crawling all over me and my dress. All our ceremony videos capture me trying to get them off, but then I realized it would be hopeless. After the ceremony, it took probably 15-20 minutes for my husband, coordinator, sister, and maid of honor to go through the layers of tulle of my dress (which the ants had infiltrated) and get them all out. I know there's nature around, but still. The trail was in front of the house right where most people have the ceremony so guests would have been sitting there. I didn't enjoy it but glad it was me and not my guests with ants all over them. Also, during the rehearsal, there was another event happening. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time. read more

Weddings and special occasions should be memorable & breathtaking! The Crestmore Manor has a lot of potential for hosting such an event. This cute little manor is tucked away in the middle of nowhere and can provide brides and party goers sufficient indoor and outdoor space for any event. I can't vouch for the process and coordinating with the staff since I had nothing to do with that aspect. Solely from a guests perspective, The Crestmore can truly shine with the right accents and, I'd imagine, the more $$ you have to throw onto the table. The acreage around the venue is green and spacious. It gives off a secluded feeling that attracts your guests to the actual party that's going on around them. This is especially true if the event is outside. The versatility seems to be limitless and I'd hope they'd allow their big spenders the opportunity to be creative. read more

It's a very beautiful place. Very convienant location, clean, nice get ready rooms, nice bathrooms, very spacious and good parking. However, the service there is horrible. This place seems like they don't want or care for people to rent it out. They make it impossible. Also if you want a nice wedding its impossible to have vendors. 10hr time is not reasonable. Because that includes set up and break down. Most vendors need about 2-3hrs to set up their draping and lights. I think they'd be better off renting it out the whole day to give people a chance to decorate and serve Alchohol with security. Even if they raise the price. No wonder it looks unused all the time. So sad. It could really be something nice but they choose to just let it sit there with no rentals. You can even tell because a lot of people in the area don't even know it exist. read more

While this venue is absolutely beautiful, the negligence of the staff we experienced was unfathomable. 3 hours before the wedding we showed up to decorate the venue to find that there was no working electricity or water in the entire venue. Not only did Crestmore Manor fail to advise us on the status of the venue, but they also failed to provide any solutions whatsoever. They left us to scramble and fend for ourselves, Jennifer the venue representative avoided us and ignored our calls. It should go without saying that an event space of Crestmore Manor's caliber, at minimum, should provide sanitary and working restrooms and electricity. However, we were left with zero operational restrooms, absolutely no power/electricity, and no safe alternatives. Our guests were left to use nonoperational restrooms that were pitch black and had feces/urine overflowing from the toilets causing extreme discomfort and a dangerous fall risk that caused some guests to slip. Crestmore Manor should have had a plan for power outages in place as a part of their safety protocols. Power outages happen, yet protocols to protect their guests should have been prepared; generators should have been onsite in case of emergency. The groom and father of the bride should not be left to fend for themselves in a situation like this. Crestmore Manor was booked with the understanding that this was a fully functioning and professional wedding venue, arriving and having to endure these horrendous conditions and excessive negligence from the staff was not only hazardous but deceptive and devastating. read more

We had the smoothest and easy-going wedding because of the Crestmore Manor and their wonderful staff. This venue was absolutely beautiful, incredibly affordable and provided great staff to be in contact with. We originally had booked this venue pre-covid and the staff worked with us over the last 2.5 years to ensure that we could find an available day that worked for us. Jennifer and her staff answered all of our questions, met us at the venue, and eased all of our concerns. We are so grateful for our vendors for working with us throughout the pandemic, but the Crestmore really went above and beyond to make sure our day was as stress free as possible. Within their control, Jennifer and her team created a stress-free environment and we are so pleased with how the wedding turned out. It would not have happened without this wonderful staff. Loved this location. My cousin was looking for a wedding location that had a historical/classic feel to it, but that wouldn't bust her budget. I started doing some research and ran across Crestmore Manor. Not only are the prices pretty affordable for just the type of location she was looking for, but you can bring your own vendors! you can bring your own food, your own booze, whatever. It's very pretty there and a great spot for the photos. there is a nice pond out in front of the manor and then there is a fountain between the manor and the carriage house (behind the manor). This was the location where they held their ceremony and the reception was held in the Carriage House. The Carriage House has a beautiful vaulted ceiling and can really be dressed up. Or it can also be used for corporate events as well. There is a kitchen available, attached to the Carriage House and a bar that is outside of the Carriage House, but only steps away. The only weird thing was that the bar had an actual room that we were not able to use. Instead, we had to get our drinks through a window that faced outside. It was fine, but would have been nice to have the bar area as well. Overall, there is a ton of space, both indoor and outdoor. The facilities are well maintained, and the prices are very affordable. I highly recommend you take a look at Crestmore Manor if looking for a wedding venue in Riverside. The ability to bring in your own food, drinks, decor, etc. is a real plus! Everything was amazing, so many compliments on our venue choice. I cant thank Jennifer Diaz enough, leading up to the wedding day I had a million and one questions and she was there to answer every single one and go above and beyond with helping me. We had our wedding reception here 5/8/15 and could not be happier. Everything turned out just the way we wanted it. On top of being a beautiful venue, it is also very affordable! Great for those brides that want to DIY, or those couples that want to BYOB. They were also extremely flexible when compared to other venues we had considered. My only complaint would be that in the last year they went through many different wedding coordinators. But I believe they finally hired a F/T person. Even though I went through many coordinators all it took was a phone call to get my question answered. Really loved this venue, and wouldn't have changed a thing. Book early though, their spots get taken quickly because of the affordability. ** also a side note, I noticed another user gave Crestmore a bad review because she had a bad experience with wait staff and bartender. Just so future people know, Crestmore Manor does not provide vendors. All it provides is tables, chairs, and the beautiful landscape and hall. Vendors are hired through bride&groom. This location is great for just about any event. I had my wedding here and I was very pleased. I gave it 4 of 5 stars only because I wish I had more time to decarte with out having to pay for it but that is beyond the staff control. First I would like to thank Marion,George, Emmie, and Faith for all their help advice and attention to detail. They were all very helpful and understanding to our needs as a couple dealing with PLANNING A WEDDING. We were hands on with every aspect of planning from food to lighting and music. We saved a ton of $$ by bringing in our own vendors (since you will need to bring your own to this location). We shopped around and noticed other loactions were not as flexible with you for example you need to use their vendors, must have an enterior or exterior wedding (this location allows you to choose). I really liked they didn't charge extra for having the ceremony on site. The price was very reasonable depending an the amount of people attending can range from $300-$350 an hour(call for prices). I would definately recomend this location to anyone on a reasonable wedding budget. If you plan on having a weekend wedding your best bet is to book a min. Of one year in advance. They book fast. If you are a creative preson this location is great to let your creativity free.. read more

I had my wedding here on July second 2016 , the set up is actually really cute if you have a summer wedding , but while planning the event they had really bad communication with me . We signed the contract in 2014 , and as we got closer to the date they kept on saying they had new policies . The day of the wedding the security were really rude to my family. The staff at Creast more had really bad miscommunications with us . Also it's hard to get a hold of them because they would never answer me when I needed an answer . Rented this venue for our October 29, 2011 wedding. The venue is gorgeous, the staff is beyond helpful and courteous and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to get married there. You are required to bring in all of your own vendors; caterer, bartender, DJ, photographers, etc. They do offer linen rentals though we chose to go with another company for those. Their prices were some of the most reasonable I found for this type of venue in the area. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in Southern California. read more

I don't even know how to begin this. My wedding started in frustration and ended in tears. I waited 11 years to marry my high school sweetheart and I will never get this moment back. Jennifer who is the event coordinator is hard to reach. She also did not show up to my final appt. which is when we needed to go over important details. Instead I had to scan my papers and email them to her because I couldn't take another day off to go there. The staff later mentioned how Jennifer is NEVER there and NEVER does her job. So please tell my why this lady is in charge of weddings. An important event for people where you should have fond memories and not feel like you wasted so much time and money. The day of the wedding the AC was broken and Jennifer was nowhere to be found after telling me she would be only 5 mins away. After 15 or so missed calls she had text that she was at a wedding in Orange County for a relative ( a week before that she said she would be available and 5 mins away and if the AC were broken they would call for repair ASAP). My room was hot and I had to get ready in the guest bathroom (which was also hot but not as bad as the VIP room). I then had to stage some photos in the hot brides room so that all of my pictures didn't have toilets in the background. After that I was told we could not walk out of the mansion (which is what my friend did that married there about a year or so ago did, we have known two separate weddings where they did that and took pictures on the inside staircase.) I was told they haven't done it in YEARS (not true) and I was told 5 mins before my ceremony that was already late due to the AC being broken and due to us looking for Kevin and Jennifer. At the end of the night I was rushed out after having already paid till 1 for the cleanup time. They locked the restrooms first and I had my grandmother who was helping pick up that needed to go. At that point the staff was throwing stuff out of the restroom and telling me that they had to and to talk to Jennifer. Jennifer who still was not there after she text that she would be there at 5pm but never answered the phone after that. I then went to the office to ask Kevin to open up the restrooms and he then had the worse attitude, laughing in my face, and stated that he had been there the whole time (which he was not, my girls and I were running around looking for him for hours). He then had a paper on his desk that my bridesmaid could see, that was in plain site, stating from Jennifer that she would be there and telling Kevin to make sure the room was open and the AC was on. My bridesmaid went to show me and that is when Kevin charged from behind the desk at me to snatch the paper (while I was holding my 2 year old). After that the staff went along with Kevin and started saying Kevin was there the whole time which in fact when looking for Kevin we kept asking them and they said he wasn't there. We were being rushed out of the main hall while trying to take pictures of how well we cleaned that way I didn't have my deposit touched (thank you yelp posters for letting us know that they post old pictures of different events to charge you). After all of this and calling Jennifer the next day I still received no call and definitely no apology. Finally on Monday I spoke to Mercedes who is above Jennifer and she tried her hardest but all they could do is say sorry at that point. I tried to call Jennifer all day long during my wedding and why I was not handed Mercedes number earlier is beyond me! Mercedes did help me get the money for my VIP room and some time refunded due to us being kicked out right away. The grounds are beautiful but the staff that is there now is horrible. When my friend got married there she said it was amazing and the staff was great but this is before there was a staff change. I wish that I could have ended my wedding beyond happy and not in tears. I feel if Mercedes were handling the occasion things would be very different. I am happy I married the love of my life but devastated the day went the way it did. read more

Very beautiful grounds, You can't beat the price but be very prepared to deal with the unprofessional staff and there incompetents. And be sure to get insurance for your event, they didn't tell us about that until the night before our wedding and then threatened us that we could use there venue without it. Also there is a $800 deposit and do not plan on getting it back. They showed us pictures of a mess that was hard to even tell if it was in fact our event. One was a picture of lemons in the sink, and we didn't even have lemons at our event. Also do not, I repeat do not use the bartender/ linen guy they suggest. He was very rude stole some of my wedding decorations and yelled at me on my wedding night for his money to pay the women that was our bartender, who didn't know English or how to bartend. She put out a tip jar, mind you she was getting paid, and all the alcohol was paid for by us, and she also tried to steal my wedding decorations (but I caught her). I realize that most people use this place because they are on a budget but their are just some basics in service I cannot overlook. The actual ceremony was fine located in front of the manor this review is more about the reception. First of all the bartender( if u can even call him that) his appearance was horrible he wasn't even dressed appropriately wearing a Polo with dark jeans and tennis shoes. He had no clue about alcohol, they had limited hard liquor and beer/wine the bad part was that he didn't even know to chill the chardonnay he was trying to add ice into the cup with it WTF? Second the appearance of the rest of the serving staff was also very poor. The staff were all wearing black vans with white sides, maybe it's just me but its bad enough that they aren't wearing proper shoes but you can't wear all black, it just looks tacky. The white shirt they wore were so old, dingy, and thin that u could see through them. The table service was poor even if we were at Dennys. No refills of water at all and to top it off they brought bus tubs out when they cleared the tables, WOW!!! The person running the service clearly has no clue on what service is. As I said I know the bride/groom are on a budget but those are simple things that have to do with the place that they need to improve on. read more

We just had our wedding at Crestmore Manor on July 23, 2016 and I couldn't be happier! Jennifer, the coordinator we were working with from Crestmore, was amazing! During our final walk through she made sure we had everything we needed and went over all information with myself and my wedding planner. From the start this was the only venue we wanted solely because they let you do everything yourself and use all your own vendors plus it's gorgeous. The day of our wedding was very hot, but due to all the space and openness our guests weren't nearly as hot as they could've been elsewhere.
