We hosted my grandmother's memorial reception here on a Friday afternoon. I can't say enough good things about this business and the people we worked with. We initially met with Indira who showed us the space, answered all of our questions and graciously brought us out a sample platter of the food. Before the event I would text Indira from time to time with questions. She always got back to me. The event itself was great. Lupe and her team took care of us throughout the day. They accommodated an early request to access the event center for decorations. Once we arrived, the staff was ready to go with food, the projector and a bar. We had a lovely time despite the sad circumstances. The food was great and the staff was just the best. Thank you all for taking care of our family on a hard day! read more

Wonderful hosts and delicious food. They will do whatever it takes to make your event a success. Their prices are quite reasonable too. I haven't tried the actual restaurant but if the food is the same as they serve in the banquet side, it's a win! read more

8/25 we held a celebration of life luncheon for our dad. We had never been here before and didn't know anyone who had but we saw other yelp reviews for a memorial luncheon and we went ahead and booked. Lupe and the staff here were so accommodating, the customer service was 5 star hands down! We had plenty of room for 100 of our close friends and family, more than we planned and Lupe and her staff immediately set up more seating and tables. The sound system was great for our speeches and the food was delicious! Thank you Lupe for helping us celebrate our sweet dad and for all you did to make our experience wonderful. We appreciate you and would celebrate with you again or refer local friends and family. read more

The coordinator here Lupe is amazing always catering to your every need to make sure your event is exactly what your looking for. She is so friendly you feel like family. Place is a great size for 100+ guests or as is my particular occasion 150 guests worked out great with room to still move around freely and still room for a small dance area. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to have an event or party. Lupe and her team, work to make your event amazing !! read more

Threw a party for my daughters 18 bday and high school graduation.. Was way worth the price! Lupe was very professional and helpful before the event. My family and friends were very happy with the decorations and the food. There was zero complaints of the food. Food was great. If you want a party where you don't have to worry about anything but having a good time than this is your place. The only work we did was the center piece and the candy table . You really don't need the center piece because it was decorated so well. I wish I had more stars to hit but they only gave me 5! My next party will definitely be here read more

I just recently got engaged and still early in the process of making a decision for a venue. I've see so many great reviews of 951 event center and thought I would call. I called one night around 6:10pm and online it said they close at 7pm. I figured I had time to reach someone. No one answered so I called the following day right at 10am and it went straight to voicemail. The Voicemail states you will get a call back within 24hrs. So instead I received a text message saying "Sorry we missed your call. Here is our pricing sheet for events at the banquet hall." And a screenshot with the pricing info. I'm all about communication but a phone call would have been nice or an invitation to look at the venue. However, Indie was able to answer some of my questions and I appreciate it. I didn't get Indies name until we were a few text messages in the conversation. This is my first wedding and first impressions are important to me. This may not seem like a big deal to other people but it just seemed like "Here's the menu let me know what you want type of feel" (if that makes sense) Food for thought. read more

Had our daughter's Sweet 16 here and Lupe, the owner/hall coordinator is soooo parient and straight forward. Her communication level is fantastic. There's no hidden fees and gives you enough for your venue. She has great rates that practically include everything allowing your planning to be stress free. The only thing we brought was the music, photo booth, photographer/videographer, cake & candy table. Their food is made fresh, made from her restaurant right next door in same building!! We were very pleased with their service. If I ever need a hall this hall is it. Thank you Lupe & crew you all are wonderful! read more

I don't recommend having a wedding reception here. Lupe the coordinator is not very organized and she made multiple excuses for her mess ups on the day of. When we first met and started making arrangements for the big day she promised a lot of things that she didn't do the day of the wedding. Air conditioner being one of them. She didn't turn on the air in a enough time to cool off the building before our guest arrived. During the reception she turned off the air and when asked about it she claimed "someone must have turned off the air" after multiple complaints throughout the night she finally started to bring other fans in to try and cool off our guest. I was promised a total of four servers to serve our guest because I paid for the four servers, but I only received two. The two servers didn't serve all our guest. A lot of our guest were missed or had to go up and asked to be served because they completely got missed. I over paid for food, so we wouldn't run out of food, but somehow we still ran out of food. At the point where we ran out of food not all guests were served yet. The food quality, taste and look is not the same as when you go for your food tasting in the restaurant. The food didn't taste well and the portions were smaller than what we agreed upon. I paid extra for drink tickets and the day of the wedding Lupe tried to give us less than what we paid for thinking we weren't going to remember. I am really disappointed in my over all experience with this hall and the coordinator Lupe. read more

Horrible place for an event. Lupe kept changing to price every time she'll ask for more and say she forgot to mention it. When I do her I'm not going to keep giving you money when you already gave me a price she threatened to cancel the event after months of planning. read more

We had the opportunity to book with the 951 Event Center on the 31st of August. Lupe was extremely helpful and very accommodating considering the circumstances of us needing the banquet hall on short notice for a post-funeral get-together. The food was phenomenal, the service was top notch and Lupe set up the entire hall for us. We could not be more grateful for all that was done for us here. Lupe, you are the best! In the future whenever we have any event we will definitely be using the 951 Event Center. read more

Okay, to make a long story short, I went to Habaneros Mexican Grill looking for for a venue to host a dinner party for approximately 30 people. Upon arrival at the restaurant I assumed it would not be an appropriate venue for my event due to the size. After speaking to Lupe she suggested hosting in the hall adjacent to the restaurant. After viewing it I knew this was the perfect place for my event. This ended up being heaven sent. Although, I had to change my event to Sunday, it worked out perfectly. Lupe and her team provided exceptional service. Everyone in my party loved the food, the service and the venue. It really is a beautiful place where you can decorate to your taste ! I added my own touch to the decor and it was great. I received many compliments from my guests. I would highly recommend and will definitely use in the future. read more

We had my daughter's Sweet 16 last weekend at the 951 Event Center and it over exceeded my expectations. I am a teacher and on a budget so I checked out and toured tons of locations prior to choosing 951 Event Center. Lupe has great prices and she is at the event from the beginning to the end. The food is wonderful and served fresh from the kitchen. No cold or reheated catering. My guests kept raving about the salsa. The food was served buffet style which I find better than waiting for a server to bring your food. Guests went back for seconds. The tables, draping and linens were elegant and romantic. The draping behind the head table was beautifully draped with roses and white lights that provided a soft glow to the room. My daughter said "Wow" when she saw the room. It is a nice size hall. Wherever you sit, you have a great view of the festivities in the front of the room. I needed a small table for a Past, Present, Future Ceremony and Lupe provided it. Lupe is very hands on and will cater to all your needs. She is friendly and professional. My 11 year old says she is having her Quince at the 951 Event Center. I highly recommend it for all events big and small. read more
