We attended our granddaughter's quinceañera in November 2025. The decoration was amazing, it looked…read moreso beautiful and it was just what my daughter and granddaughter asked for. The food was absolutely delicious. The downfall to our event was that we just so happened to have it on the first day of the Mission Inn Light Festival We didn't know that it would be that same day and the streets were closed off and parking was horrible. I highly recommend this venue, but not during November.

DO NOT BOOK WITH ELVIA AND JUDY! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR DAY! THEY ARE SHADY AF!…read more First off, let me clarify that 365 events is NOT affiliated with The Life Arts Center. They operate independently and do not own the building. I was actually on a tour of Life Arts Center when Elvia approached me, claiming she could offer me a better deal. That should have been my first red flag that she was trying to poach me from someone else. I gave her a call, and we decided to visit the venue. When we arrived for the tour, Judy approached us and offered me a significantly higher price, almost $5000 more than Elvia had quoted. I informed her that this was not what I had been told. She apologized and claimed she had confused me with someone else. My fiancé and I expressed our interest in a specific date, which she confirmed was available. She promised to do everything in her power to make our dream reception come true, from setting up the venue to arranging every detail and being a coordinator. She even assured us that she would be present every minute of the day. Before booking I had made numerous phone calls and text messages to Elvia, inquiring about the availability of the same date. Every single call and text message, Elvia was able to confirm the date. The week that I had my appointment to go book my church, I talked to her every day and confirm that date we wanted was still available. The day that we had our church appointment, I had five phone conversations with Elvia . I let her know we were on the way to the church and once we were done, I would give her a call so we can go sign the contract. After I booked my church, I gave her a call and told her we were heading over to sign. The contract date was still available. When we arrive, Elvia was not there. Judy was there. My first question was if our date was still available she told me yes. I am a type A bride so I had every single question answered before we signed this contract. Headed over booked our date, sign our contract and she took our deposit. We were both an ecstatic that we had finally after a long process and touring many venues which had the date we wanted booked. We had finally found the one and had signed our contract and put our deposit down. Fast-forward to 2 1/2 weeks later, I am at work and I get a voicemail from Judy calling me by another name. I called her back to see if she meant to call me or if it was a mistake. She told me that she meant to call me. This is when it all fell apart. At this point, she proceeds to tell me that they have double booked my date for my reception. That they can go ahead and move my reception to another day?? Excuse me?? You want me to get marry at my church one day and weeks later come and tell my family and friends to come for my reception? I couldn't believe this happening! How do you double booked after almost 20 phone calls and text messages and us signing a contract. She claimed that somebody was going over the paperwork and they realized they had double booked. How do you to tell me you sign a legally binding contract without checking if the date was still available after almost 8 phone calls the same day and me telling you, I am coming over to sign the contract for that date. You mean to tell me nobody could bother to see if it was still available ? A no point in time did anybody tell me that it was booked or that anyone had inquired for that date actually I was told they had the whole month I was inquiring about empty. At this point, I was in tears at work because I cannot believe the unprofessionalism from both of them. I told them that now I have to leave work to go deal with this and I needed my deposit back. So, not only was I left with not Venue, I had to miss the whole day of work since this was around 9 am. I left work to go get my deposit back when I showed up Judy nor Elvia had the audacity to face me or my fiancé to apologize to us instead Judy sent her husband to give me back my deposit check. He was so nervous because they knew what they did was wrong and we have the right to sue them for breach of contract. He then tried to get me to still book with them at another venue and that they would give me extra items . At this point, I had no trust in them and felt scammed. I could not believe what they had done, to the most important day of my life. I left and took that check straight to the bank because I was afraid that it would bounce. I really think that they just needed my money or I they did give my day to somebody else for a higher price and then called me and told me they double booked. These people are shady.. It wasn't after this that I found out they they don't own the property which she claimed she did. And that this is not the first time they have called people and told them that they double booked their date. On top of that they have a reputation of going around and stealing customers from other people. Be warned! Don't book with ELVIA OR JUDY!

The area is really beautiful, with lots of gorgeous historical buildings. I arrived a early, and was able to find a handicap parking spot right on the corner near the theater. Parking can be a challenge , but there are some lots in the area to provide extra parking. I ran into some people that I had met at previous concerts, and we chatted while we waited for the doors to open. The entrance and the box office are up a flight of stairs, so the ADA entrance is an elevator to the left side near the stairs. We waited here, and they escorted us up to the checkin area just before the general crowd was admitted. The theater is beautiful, with seating on the main floor at the back and in the balcony. We were in the ADA section on the right side. It's not raised, so you do have a little bit of a blocked view of the stage. Sound and lighting were great, which is good because some older venues have issues with the sound especially. I really the Nothing More show, and the openers were good too, which is a bonus. There is one small concessions on the concert level. Everything else is downstairs on the ground floor. Restrooms, larger bar, and merch for concerts are all here. ADA access is from that same entrance elevator on the left side, and there's a hidden women's restroom near the elevator. I will definitely be back, when there's an important show that's worth the trip to Riverside.

Parking wasn't an issue for us, though we definitely lucked out. The Festival of Lights was happening nearby so there was quite a bit of traffic and individuals needing parking spots for that, but there's also a parking garage close to the venue. With VIP, we were able to walk right in without waiting in line. The VIP setup exceeded my expectations. There's a lounge area with complimentary snacks and a DJ, which made the pre-show time really fun. We sat in the balcony, which has its own bar and private restrooms. I liked being up top with the option to sit while still being able to head downstairs to the standing room if wanted. The only downside was figuring out the seating. The rows aren't well lit, and the row letters are on tape on the floor with some were missing or faded. Our seats were numbered 5, 7, and 9, but the seats in the row itself were labeled in the 30s. It made no sense. There also weren't any staff members around to help guide people. And even though it was almost December and chilly outside, it felt a bit warm inside. Despite that, I really enjoyed this venue. They just need to improve the visibility of the seating. Getting in and out was easy, the VIP lounge was a great bonus, and every employee we interacted with was friendly. Great experience overall.

The setting is perfect, with beautiful hills in the background and the most incredible "stairway to nowhere" that creates breathtaking sunset views and photos. The ceremony and dance area, as well as the dinner space, are perfectly laid out and flow beautifully. And if you're looking for the perfect DIY venue that allows you to truly bring your vision to life, this is it. This venue is truly magical, and I can't say enough good things about it. This is the first venue I looked at and we booked instantly. No regrets. The venue itself was amazing! It was spacious and offered us enough room to have 2 types of photo booths, dessert table, sweetheart table, gift table, along with all the food setup and guest tables. There is a built in bar & dance floor as well. They're both so nice! I will provide as much pictures as I can so you can see how beautiful it is. I 100% recommend this venue!! I would LOVE to book here again for other special events. Also I have a tip: invest in a GOOD experienced photographer. There are beautiful areas to take pictures both inside and outside so make sure you take advantage and don't pass them up. My photographer was a lady named Marlyn and she had creative ideas! It is an amazing place for board and tabletop game enthusiasts to hang out and play games. The ambience is fantastic. The themed room that are available for rent are also quite nice. We have since formed a rather large group to go here regularly. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in whatever you're playing if you need help. The fact that you can also bring your own drinks (as long as lidded) and food is a huge plus. They do sell packaged snacks and drinks, but no full meals if you want to stay for a while. There's Thai, Chinese, and Taco Bell all within walking distance if you need a full meal. There's also regularly scheduled events almost every night and weekend. It's such an amazing place, and super LGBTQ+ friendly also. The store and merch they sell are also cute. All in all, I'm so grateful for this place to be in Riverside. We've made many new friends already and can't wait for more.

The owner, Santiago, allowed us to come a half hour beforehand to decorate & we came in, not knowing what to expect. Upon our arrival, the birthday cake was promptly whisked away to the kitchen, we found Santiago PERSONALLY on his hands & knees fixing the electrical cords for us, our servers introduced themselves & graciously helped us rearrange the set-up to accommodate the band we brought in. Then helped us rearrange the layout yet again once we realized the band needed to be next to the electrical outlets. I was embarrassed to even ask so I started doing it myself but they jumped right in without being asked. If I'm being honest, usually I'm not a fan of buffet meals, so I wasn't expecting much. But everything served was SO delicious! The fajitas were my favorite dish, not only flavorful but also nice & moist. Not only that, but they refilled the food for us as it ran out. They brought out to-go boxes for the leftovers, & best believe my family took home every last bite! The lime margarita tower was SO yummy but also hella dangerous because it was strong!! Other restaurants will give you watered down drinks but El Patron doesn't play. We were only planning on one but it was so good, we couldn't resist getting another. From start to finish, the servers (Leslie and Cecilia) were on POINT. Their service went above & beyond expectations-- continuously checking on us, refilling drinks/food, taking photos, etc. Not only that, but also, when my young autistic nephew unfortunately got sick, they were so incredibly compassionate about it & helped clean up the mess right away. I was absolutely blown away by the attention to detail & quality of care. As my grandma is getting older, we are especially cherishing these final years with her. We spent thousands overall (venue, music, photographer, special mass, etc) but every last cent was worth seeing her happy with all of her loved ones. After many months of planning, I was super nervous about something going wrong but I can honestly say that core memories were made. Thank you to Santiago, Leslie & Cecilia for your hospitality, good food & work ethic-- it truly meant so much for our family unit.

They were tasty, juicy and a little bit overpriced. Overall worth it. The cocktails were very good as well. Walking in is a step back in time to when the golden age of the silver screen brought people en masse to classy, red carpeted movie houses. That vibe lingers as one enters the softly lit warm glow of the lobby with its period chandeliers, dark wood painted beams, and carpeted floors. Proper old school escorts take you to your seats. Inside the theater, the stage is flanked by drapes, and aesthetically pleasing lighting sets the mood. The seats are a rare find - wooden with lush velvety fabric. Surprisingly, they were more spacious than expected. Also surprisingly, our seats weren't attached to the floor! If we leaned forward, our two seats both moved. It wasn't a problem, just surprising. We also had one cup holder. It seemed they were randomly placed with several seats lacking them. Since we were here for a concert, let's talk about sound quality, which was spot on! The speaker system provided multidirectional sound that was clear and clean. No pops, distortion, or drops here. The bass gave that satisfying through the feet vibration without rattling our teeth. The temperature was comfortably cool and never stuffy. So, why a 4 instead of a 5? While seat/cupholder were kinda just quirky, it's a matter of layout and patience. As you pass through to the interior, there's a confluence of lines that, even though people queued up as best they could, merged with those trying to find a way through. The women's restroom line - which was clean with good sized stalls - comes first, with the bar just a few yards away, followed by merch table. The bar line ended up descending down the stairs on one side while the merch table went down the other. I honestly don't know how they could manage it differently given the space. Bar and merch lines moved slowly, and I was appreciative when another joined the single bartender to help customers. Someone said there was another bar, but I was too time invested to inquire. My friend eventually left the merch table after making no significant headway after 20 minutes. After the concert, the line was back down the stairs. Patience, politeness, and flexibility win the day here. Did this take away from our experience? No, not really. We were lined up outside and entered shortly after doors opened, an hour before showtime. These logistics would not keep me from returning.
