I'm leaving this here because I wouldn't wish anyone to go through what I did. Tread VERY carefully…read morewith management here. I first booked this venue for my organization in October, paying for the deposit to secure my date. The event was to be held late May. The first red flag was that there was NO proper contract given to us despite us requesting for one. Naomi, the manager in charge, told my team that she would provide one but never did. I paid for the deposit, $2,500, the only thing defined as non-refundable, despite the fact there was no contract because she emphasized our date will be taken if we are not quick. We paid and chose to have faith that she will provide one shortly. Several months later, when it was time to complete payment, we were informed for the first time that outside catering was no longer allowed and that we would be required to use the venue's catering services. This added over $3,000+ in unexpected costs that had not been communicated earlier in the planning process. At that point, we were also told full payment had to be made immediately or we lose the venue. Because it was too late to realistically find another location, we were pressured to hurry and proceeded to pay a total of nearly $7,000 that day. To make matters worst, abruptly, a week later our event had to be canceled. I called her, asking if there was any chance I could get a partial refund. She told me it wouldn't be possible, I will be getting nothing back. I reminded her that there was no contract or policies in this regard. She then began bringing up her "legal team." I asked if I could atleast talk to them or see any written evidence. She laughed and told me that it costs over $500 just to speak to them, so no I wouldn't be allowed to talk to them. She told me I would need to get a legal team if I want to take this further, in which I do not hold these luxuries. I thought I could maybe get refunded for atleast the food because the event didn't happen. I texted her if this was posssible, if there's any further information I could provide, and if I could get a proper receipt of all my payments because that was never given either. All I got in response to this was to "email her our texts in regards to the cancellations." I had to text her several times to see if there was any updates after I emailed her. She finally responds and tells me to wait till the end of the week and I will get a response. She did not send me a response. I waited until the following Monday to ask again and she requests to call me. As I enter the call, I hear her laughing to her co-workers and when she sees I've picked up she tells me "Yeah no, we will not be giving you a refund." She then proceeds to remind me that it should've been earlier and that because of us she missed out on a $20,000 opportunity with a hospital and several other opportunities that could've been utilized over us and that's why she can't give us a refund. Because she missed out on more money opportunities. I end the call because I understood I was never going to get anything back. I simply asked for my receipt once more which her co-worker sends the next day. Funnily enough, there's a discloser at the bottom of the receipt talking about their policy on how "all bookings are final and we maintain a strict no-cancellation policy." Yet she couldn't send me this before? They most likely added it after this whole ordeal. We regretfully lost almost $10,000 in the process of working with her. I understand that there are rules and policies. However, I would've been a lot more understanding if this venue at least had a heart and act understanding towards our situation when talking to me. Without a single apology, without any empathy, throughout this whole process I was constantly belittled and reminded that she could've earned more if it weren't for us. If you want a place that will actually care about you and see you as more than just a paycheck, please consider other options as there are plenty of other lovely venues around Riverside.

One of the women serving champagne dropped her entire tray of flutes on someone's mom, she was soaked. Our champagne toast was to be served by 4:45, but the person in charge ran late and didn't begin until 4:54. The male owner barged into the women's bathroom to tell us we were "flushing too much"; a female employee could've handled this better. The dinner service was unorganized and took a long time. I was served food before anyone else at my table, and everyone else at my table had no food for like 3-5 mins after me. It felt very awkward. At the very least I think people sitting at the same table should be served at the same time. The Alfredo sauce was grainy and the chicken was poor quality and felt like mush in my mouth.

It has all that you need a changing room (probably not big enough to really get ready), good food, great bartender, beautiful chairs and linens great indoor and outdoor space. We hired our own month of coordinator for a few reasons. I would actually recommend that to anyone at any venue even if they include someone! You need your own point person and someone who has spent time with you to know what you want. At the time when we planned our wedding there was so much turn over with the event staff. Some things were lost in communication so always get everything in writing.

I did go in a couple more times after booking to get pictures of the venue too and everyone was also super kind those times too. The Last month leading up to the wedding Put me into more communication with the venue, specifically Teresita who was so helpful! Teresita always answered my emails quickly, was kind when I needed to make some last minute changes to my layout and was super great during the rehearsal and day of the wedding. She really was the best! And the team that worked at our wedding were all amazing as well! On top of that, the venue is gorgeous! We got married in front of the manor, had cocktail hour in the center of the venue, and had the reception in the carriage house. It's such an amazing setup for any wedding. The property is amazing and the perfect backdrop for pictures too. Hard liquor isn't allowed in the venue but it honestly was not missed. This venue is DIY so you bring your own vendors but like I said, they have open houses with vendors and it's a great place to meet some (it's honestly so helpful when the vendors know the property). Their pricing online is very easy to find so no trying to guess how much it is like a lot of venues. The getting ready suites are super cute and perfect to set up in. And if your reception is inside the carriage house then it comes with tables and chairs. I think if there was one thing I would change it is that I wish we could have earlier access to the venue or be able to leave stuff for the wedding the night before. I will say a strong group of vendors does help with this so make sure you choose well. But overall, I would get married here again! I truly feel like our wedding day was perfect! (And tons of guests complimented the venue!)

We booked this venue May 2018 & when January came around, it was crunch time & he was making everything happen. It was supposed to rain on our wedding day ( had been raining so much during March) & Jeff was preparing to put up a clear tent in case it did, but we had the most gorgeous day in March. It was 80 degrees & sunny! It was such a perfect day. The food and wine were both delicious. We had lots of food leftover & Jeff packed it up and put it in our car ready for us to take it. All of our guests had a great time & we had so many compliments about the venue. Someone even called my mother in law & asked her for details of the venue because she loved it so much, she wants to renew her vows there. Overall, I would recommend Vin Di cool for this who want a all inclusive venue (minus a few things) because honestly, Jeff coordinating and taking care of the big things definitely was a huge help. The price is set, no extra or hidden fees-which we loved. All photography- @andicarrphotography

Love this Venue! This review is long over due (and maybe a…read morelittle long too, but I remember when I was planning a wedding, this kind of info was so helpful. Hope this is helpful to you!). My daughter was married here on 6-24-17 and since she was living up North at the time, it was me who coordinated this wedding with the Venue Owner Jeff. Let me first start off with the pros & cons: Pros: Very pretty and well kept property for an outdoor wedding. Prices are fair and affordable. Owners are responsive, friendly, flexible and easy to work with. Willing to customize to your needs/wants at a fair price (many things no addtl. charge). Serving staff, parking staff, bar staff were prompt, helpful and friendly. No complaints from any of our guest, and I asked. Our guests had a GREAT TIME, I am still hearing how much fun the wedding was and what a beautiful place Vin Di Cool is . If I had to do it over, I would gladly book this venue again. Cons: Ceremony Seating- Be sure to ask for extra benches to be set up. We had a little over 100 guests and there was not enough seating with two benches wide per side and 9-10 rows deep. Many guests stood off to the side in the shade. No shade during ceremony so it's HOT at 5pm in the summer. Plan accordingly (get extra rentals for umbrellas, or some kind of canopy if you want shade) or do what we did and keep the ceremony SHORT! The lack of shade was no problem after the ceremony as the reception area has trees and it's cooler just a little later. Buffet- While my guest said they enjoyed the food, its was a little slow of a process as there was only one side of the buffet open (not a double sided buffet) and they serve you, not a serve yourself, so it moved a little slow. Also, one set of salt and pepper shaker to use at the end of the buffet. No salt and pepper on the tables where it should be. This also slowed the buffet line some, not bad, but how are you even supposed to know if you need to salt your food until you sit down and taste it. Also, it was your little round cardboard salt and pepper shakers... I would recommend asking for REAL salt and pepper shakers on each table. I know this sounds petty, but when you have 100 people eating at once, you need salt and pepper on the tables. Easy fix. That's it. We didn't have any issues with the food being cold or not having enough as other reviews stated. After all the tables were served they opened the line up for 2nd's to anyone that wanted them and then offered us any leftover food to take home. I will say that Jeff is super nice and easy to work with but he is go, go, go and he does a great job at keeping track of things. With that said, I recommend YOU be organized and follow up your conversations with emails or texts as you should with any vendor. He is not planning your wedding, he is providing a venue. Vin Di Cool did a great job on following through with their commitments to our event. They were also helpful and accommodating with our personal decorations and things we brought in and, when time allowed, helped us set up and take down our stuff as well as their own stuff. I recommend shopping around, I did, and I can say I was very happy with this Venue.
