Also, she insists that the party bus with the Quinciañera and her court arriving early is not her fault and that's considered early arrival to the venue, granted it is not her fault, but we had a verbal agreement and permission to have them arrive early to her coffee shop next door. Our guest, the Quinciañera and her court were not inside the venue early as she keeps saying to justify her crooked actions. The only people who arrived at 5:20pm were my husband and I to set up the dessert table (which we could not set up the day before obviously) and also edible pieces on the main tables as party favors. Therefore, party hosts beware, if you book this venue, you will be charged extra time $500 to arrive even 40 minutes early, to do any finishing touches or set up last minute items. She agrees to your arrival but does not specify that it is considered additional time. All venues in my experience, allow the hosts time before the event starts, the day of, to do any last minute things. This venue will bill you by keeping your deposit, and not even let you know until you ask about your money. Again, nothing but dishonesty and a scam. My husband and I are honest people, who pay for all and any service we get, but this nightmare, has been nothing but a money grab with endless excuses and not a trustworthy business. When I called again right before arrival, I was suddenly told my booking didn't exist. Though they eventually found it, it left me incredibly uneasy. When I finally arrived--exhausted and desperate to lie down--it took nearly 25 minutes of total confusion. The two older ladies at the front desk explicitly stated they didn't know how to check me in, leaving us just standing there. Also, the second floor hallway had a pungent, powerful marijuana odor permeating from outside of the rooms. To make matters worse, breakfast both mornings was barely lukewarm. The entire dining area was completely disorganized, and the staff seemed utterly confused about what they were supposed to be doing. From the messy administrative errors to the lack of basic noise control and cold food, the customer service here is entirely lacking. If you are looking for a peaceful, restful stay, look elsewhere. When we arrived around 4:00 that day we noticed large groups of preteen athletes but did not realize the havoc they would wreak late into the night but it became quite clear after we returned from dinner that the intention of this group was to act as if they had rented the ENTIRE property and therefore run through its halls with a fierce to determination to be as loud, crude and sexually explicit as possible. Which with them being preteens is understandable that they would engage in this behavior with each other. However what is MONSTROUSLY perplexing is that the adults that brought them to this hotel decided that it was their SACRED time to enjoy the lobby of a mid range hotel to watch the World Cup (how dare you sully that treasure with your turdish behavior) with wild abandonment of their RESPONSIBILITY to CHAPERONE/PARENT minors. As she boarded the elevator sad excuses for women mocked her as if they had won the empire of Rome like a squad of Temu Helen of Troys. Gals, if you are reading this, it was just a few tables near the breakfast buffet equipment. The lack of accountability and ability to problem solve on behalf of this staff was grossly disappointing which to me indicates that they are very use to this type of behavior and are a hub for traveling teams. So, if this seems like the night for you because you're looking for a lack of sleep and to possibly get into a fight with a group of millennials that didn't understand the real meaning behind Fight Club, five stars. However, that was not my intention but I can't rate it any lower than one, so star for the story. My group confronts them because now we are waiting on them at every hole after that and they tried to fight us. I told the clubhouse after the round hoping to get some sort of apology or for them to make it right. Nothing, just a sorry you should have called us. No starter or Marshall roaming the course anymore, absolutely brutal experience and I will not be back. Side note: I saw on social media that some guy got his clubs stolen from right outside the club house about 4 weeks ago when checking in for his tee time. They never found the thiefs. Be careful playing here, no golf etiquette and extremely ghetto now.
