The servers are all very friendly and attentive. And the place, the ambience, is heavenly! When I was looking at places for wedding reception, this place is the first one that came up in my google search, after visiting the place, no doubt in my mind, I did not check out other places after. And the wedding coordinator, Rachel is super friendly and attentive and very detail-oriented. She remembered us and gave us complimentary desserts for our anniversary dinner. Such a sweetheart! We have been going to this place forever! We love a Sunday breakfast here. The views are spectacular and the service is top-notch. I love watching the golfers come in and order their food and drinks and take them out on the cart. It's such a neat vibe. I always get the eggs Benedict for breakfast. My husband gets the breakfast burrito .If we go for lunch, I always get the bruschetta. My husband gets the pasta. Sometimes I'll get the tuna fish sandwich and yes, 1000 island dressing on it complements the sandwich so much. I was a little weary, however, our waitress assured me that I would love it and if I didn't, she would take it back. Let me tell you she did not have to take it back. It was delicious. This is an amazing restaurant. There are so many reasons that I gave it five stars. Let's start with the most obvious. The view from the dining room or the deck is outstanding. Hard to believe that you're still in California. The service was spectacular. Everybody was extremely polite very friendly. The owner was very outgoing as she visited tables and answer any questions that you might have. They were over the top following the expectations restaurants must follow in order to be open. Personally I think it's far too much that has been asked of restaurants. If you don't feel safe you should stay home. The food was excellent. I had to Birdie Burger. It was huge. Tons of mushrooms the Swiss was excellent and the potato bun was out of this world. The french fries were hot and you could tell they were very fresh. Perfectly seasoned. The wife had fish and chips. She said the fish was outstanding. She had the same take on the french fries. She was not a fan of their coleslaw. It's a little different than a traditional coleslaw. More like a southwest mix. We also had the spinach artichoke dip. It was served with bread slices and was outstanding. She had an ice tea and I had a Modelo from tap. They are the first restaurant open in Riverside county. First off, I am stunned that I did not take one, single, solitary picture : 0. That is NOT like me at all. I joined my better half today for dinner since he had a late tee time and we have been wanting to eat here for ages. The Yelp states hours of 7am-6pm yet as we walked in at 525pm we were informed that they would be closing in 5 minutes. It shocked my hubs n I both that a restaurant of this caliber inside the clubhouse at such a busy and gorgeous golf course would be closing before 7pm much less at 530pm. I told our server that we would be fine going someplace else as I felt bad keeping the staff around for just us. He insisted it was perfectly fine and sat us in the bar area with a nice view of the 1st tee. It really is a beautiful course. So, I picked up the menu and was surprised at how many more items there were than what I could locate online (SO bummed I did not take any pictures!) It took a lot of thought and I ended up going all-in and ordering Shrimp Scampi. I did not read the description closely. I know this because when my meal was delivered I received enough to feed at least one more person...probably 2 more. I was served a large bowl of delicious green leaf lettuce with scredded carrot, grape tomatoes, a smidge of shredded cabbage and yummy, fresh croutons. I asked for ranch dressing on the side and it was delicious! Made from scratch for sure. Along with the salad came 4 pieces of lovely, crumbly foccacia with evoo & balsamic for dipping. The main dish consisted of a large oblong dish filled with 6 giant, plump, perfectly grilled prawns encased in a creamy, garlicy scampi sauce and delish mushroom chunks. Next to the oblong dish was a large portion of steamed carrots, broccoli, and zucchini cooked al dente and perfect. On the side of ALL that was another dish piled high with rosemary garlic french fries that were battered and fried! Those were insanely good too! The flavor of the scampi sauce is nothing short of addictive and perfect to dip the french fries and the steamed veggies in. I did not eat the foccacia but it smelled yummy and upon arriving home with 3 boxes of leftovers, my aunt declared the foccacia and fries outstanding (she does not eat shellfish). Hubs had the pastrami on rye with regular flavored (also battered) fries and he ate every morsel raving he loved the mix of veggies into the pastrami so it seemed more "healthy" We each had a gin n tonic. Good, strong pour. No room for dessert but they have a nice selection. We walked out of there with an entire additional meal for later and completely satisfied. Thank you Villa Amalfi!!! I cannot behind to describe how terrible this place is. I've had the unfortunate privilege of coming to this establishment more than once with different parties. The food was beyond bland. The staff is not friendly at all. When I came during the height of the pandemic, not a single person was wearing a mask. They're ere also not washing their hands in between handling payment and food. Of all of the possible places you can get food in Norco, I highly recommend avoiding this establishment and going anywhere else. The staff nor patrons are asked to wear a mask, despite county instructions to do so. This is a good place to get COVID-19, not food. The owner of this restaurant has made it very clear that she cares more about "taking a stance" than protecting the health of her customers and employees. I think this establishment is a safety hazard and the owner has been very rude and unapologetic during our interactions. read more

It's been a while since I've been to Villa Amalfi. I used to come all the time on the way out to visit family in the area. I came for the first time since the pandemic started and it really has gone downhill. I want to support small family owned businesses but the cleanliness and general attitude of the staff need a ton of work. The gentleman who helped me was wearing a mask down around his chin and didn't wash his hands between handling cash and grabbing my food. When I commented on this (politely) he snapped at me. I tried to call back to contact a manager to share these concerns before leaving a review but for some reason there is never one available. I'll probably come back in a few months to give them another chance and will update my review once I do. read more

The food is very good...and you're at a golf course! Usually courses have snack bars or quckie food. Villa Amalfi offers actual cuisine. I had eggs benedict for breakfast and it was solid. Thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife and her friend meet her often just for appetizers and cocktails. So, after my round of golf she told me to pick up an order of bruschetta and bring it home. I did. It was outstanding. Every time I have eaten here, the food has been great. Way above what you would expect at a golf course. It is actually a place where non-golfers can go to eat.
