The food was good and plentiful, they also had a fruit bar & coffee & pan dulce station for us. We opted for a cash bar but you can opt to pay for open bar as well. I recently attended a wedding here and I was not impressed. On the one hand, the service within…read morethe wedding was well done and everyone was pleasant and wearing Renaissance attire in keeping with the wedding's theme. (This is the grounds where the Corona Renaissance Fair is held.) After talking with the bride and groom after the event, some of their complaints may have been valid, but they didn't have anything in writing with the venue. Let the buyer beware. Here are my suggestions if you choose to hold an event here: a- Any details that you work out, put in writing. That way every person knows what to expect and no one forgets whether something was agreed to or just talked about. For example, the wedding I attended was supposed to have on-site catering instead of an outside vendor, the plates were supposed to be pewter, not plastic and the utensils were supposed to be metal, not plastic. These details were not in writing so who is to blame? A written contract with the details spelled out would have resolved these issues. b- If you bring in your own liquor, ask to see the discarded bottles, even the broken ones, after the event. An employee told us that she dropped a couple of bottles of whiskey in the room behind the bar. The bottles in question were Jameson, and no one remembered hearing a bottle break or could recall her working the bar so the bartender could have a break. This caused some to suspect that the bottles walked off and were not actually broken. If it's in the contract that you want your bottles back and that you want reimbursement for any missing items, there will be no suspicions that any bottles may have walked off. This would help both sides. c- Ask that lights be provided marking a safe path to the restroom. Between the event hall and the outdoor restroom there were no lights. This is a rural location without street lights. The only light to guide people to the restrooms was the light coming from the restroom itself. d- Ask that the restroom be thoroughly cleaned and that all toilets be in working order. The handicapped stall's toilet leaked from the bottom resulting in a puddle extending about two feet from the toilet in all directions. This is the stall that most brides would use on their wedding day, so to have it out of commission was a major inconvenience. Also, there were a ton of mosquitoes in the restroom which has resulted in some bites in unusual places to put it mildly. I've been camping at places with cleaner restrooms. e- Ask that the creepy lady not hang out around the restrooms. I can't recall her name but she is the one who claimed to have broken the bottles of whiskey, she made unsolicited remarks to the guests about how they could improve their costumes, made very personal remarks to the guests and generally made people feel uncomfortable to the point that people traveled to the restroom in pairs so as not to get waylaid without back up. f- Ask that lighting be provided to safely mark the way between the event site location and the parking lot. If I had known how dark the area was I would have brought a flashlight. With the wildlife in the area, it's a matter of safety as well as convenience. I think if you listed all of these concerns in the contract that is drawn up, you could have an amazing event at this location without complaints.

We booked this venue May 2018 & when January came around, it was crunch time & he was making everything happen. It was supposed to rain on our wedding day ( had been raining so much during March) & Jeff was preparing to put up a clear tent in case it did, but we had the most gorgeous day in March. It was 80 degrees & sunny! It was such a perfect day. The food and wine were both delicious. We had lots of food leftover & Jeff packed it up and put it in our car ready for us to take it. All of our guests had a great time & we had so many compliments about the venue. Someone even called my mother in law & asked her for details of the venue because she loved it so much, she wants to renew her vows there. Overall, I would recommend Vin Di cool for this who want a all inclusive venue (minus a few things) because honestly, Jeff coordinating and taking care of the big things definitely was a huge help. Love this Venue! This review is long over due (and maybe a…read morelittle long too, but I remember when I was planning a wedding, this kind of info was so helpful. Hope this is helpful to you!). My daughter was married here on 6-24-17 and since she was living up North at the time, it was me who coordinated this wedding with the Venue Owner Jeff. Let me first start off with the pros & cons: Pros: Very pretty and well kept property for an outdoor wedding. Prices are fair and affordable. Owners are responsive, friendly, flexible and easy to work with. Willing to customize to your needs/wants at a fair price (many things no addtl. charge). Serving staff, parking staff, bar staff were prompt, helpful and friendly. No complaints from any of our guest, and I asked. Our guests had a GREAT TIME, I am still hearing how much fun the wedding was and what a beautiful place Vin Di Cool is . If I had to do it over, I would gladly book this venue again. Cons: Ceremony Seating- Be sure to ask for extra benches to be set up. We had a little over 100 guests and there was not enough seating with two benches wide per side and 9-10 rows deep. Many guests stood off to the side in the shade. No shade during ceremony so it's HOT at 5pm in the summer. Plan accordingly (get extra rentals for umbrellas, or some kind of canopy if you want shade) or do what we did and keep the ceremony SHORT! The lack of shade was no problem after the ceremony as the reception area has trees and it's cooler just a little later. Buffet- While my guest said they enjoyed the food, its was a little slow of a process as there was only one side of the buffet open (not a double sided buffet) and they serve you, not a serve yourself, so it moved a little slow. Also, one set of salt and pepper shaker to use at the end of the buffet. No salt and pepper on the tables where it should be. This also slowed the buffet line some, not bad, but how are you even supposed to know if you need to salt your food until you sit down and taste it. Also, it was your little round cardboard salt and pepper shakers... I would recommend asking for REAL salt and pepper shakers on each table. I know this sounds petty, but when you have 100 people eating at once, you need salt and pepper on the tables. Easy fix. That's it. We didn't have any issues with the food being cold or not having enough as other reviews stated. After all the tables were served they opened the line up for 2nd's to anyone that wanted them and then offered us any leftover food to take home. I will say that Jeff is super nice and easy to work with but he is go, go, go and he does a great job at keeping track of things. With that said, I recommend YOU be organized and follow up your conversations with emails or texts as you should with any vendor. He is not planning your wedding, he is providing a venue. Vin Di Cool did a great job on following through with their commitments to our event. They were also helpful and accommodating with our personal decorations and things we brought in and, when time allowed, helped us set up and take down our stuff as well as their own stuff. I recommend shopping around, I did, and I can say I was very happy with this Venue.

The most inspiring thing about this man is his sense of family first, he is truly a man to look up to. I was in Southern California and wanted to check out the museum that is dedicated to the legend himself and his family and all their winning ways. I found myself excited as I rounded the corner and saw the John Force Racing Events Center, I think you have events here but there is also a museum of automotive excellence that houses some of the cars from the families race team. Funny cars and dragsters, many pictures, trophies there is an unequaled energy here. It was with a huge smile that I stood in front of those Walley trophies. They are not open every day , I would recommend calling ahead. Super nice people work here, highly recommend
