The venue is beautiful and spacious, our group was about 50 people so we were only occupying about half the space. The beautiful dance floor pops and stands out. The food was good and plentiful, they also had a fruit bar & coffee & pan dulce station for us. We opted for a cash bar but you can opt to pay for open bar as well. The Photo Booth was a great add on. Everything was great but it was the service and friendliness of the staff & owners that made our party a huge success.

I first booked this venue for my organization in October, paying for the deposit to secure my date. The event was to be held late May. The first red flag was that there was NO proper contract given to us despite us requesting for one. Naomi, the manager in charge, told my team that she would provide one but never did. I paid for the deposit, $2,500, the only thing defined as non-refundable, despite the fact there was no contract because she emphasized our date will be taken if we are not quick. We paid and chose to have faith that she will provide one shortly. Several months later, when it was time to complete payment, we were informed for the first time that outside catering was no longer allowed and that we would be required to use the venue's catering services. This added over $3,000+ in unexpected costs that had not been communicated earlier in the planning process. At that point, we were also told full payment had to be made immediately or we lose the venue. Because it was too late to realistically find another location, we were pressured to hurry and proceeded to pay a total of nearly $7,000 that day. To make matters worst, abruptly, a week later our event had to be canceled. I called her, asking if there was any chance I could get a partial refund. She told me it wouldn't be possible, I will be getting nothing back. I reminded her that there was no contract or policies in this regard. She then began bringing up her "legal team." I asked if I could atleast talk to them or see any written evidence. She laughed and told me that it costs over $500 just to speak to them, so no I wouldn't be allowed to talk to them. She told me I would need to get a legal team if I want to take this further, in which I do not hold these luxuries. I thought I could maybe get refunded for atleast the food because the event didn't happen. I texted her if this was posssible, if there's any further information I could provide, and if I could get a proper receipt of all my payments because that was never given either. All I got in response to this was to "email her our texts in regards to the cancellations." I had to text her several times to see if there was any updates after I emailed her. She finally responds and tells me to wait till the end of the week and I will get a response. She did not send me a response. I waited until the following Monday to ask again and she requests to call me. As I enter the call, I hear her laughing to her co-workers and when she sees I've picked up she tells me "Yeah no, we will not be giving you a refund." She then proceeds to remind me that it should've been earlier and that because of us she missed out on a $20,000 opportunity with a hospital and several other opportunities that could've been utilized over us and that's why she can't give us a refund. Because she missed out on more money opportunities. I end the call because I understood I was never going to get anything back. I simply asked for my receipt once more which her co-worker sends the next day. Funnily enough, there's a discloser at the bottom of the receipt talking about their policy on how "all bookings are final and we maintain a strict no-cancellation policy." Yet she couldn't send me this before? They most likely added it after this whole ordeal. We regretfully lost almost $10,000 in the process of working with her. I understand that there are rules and policies. However, I would've been a lot more understanding if this venue at least had a heart and act understanding towards our situation when talking to me. Without a single apology, without any empathy, throughout this whole process I was constantly belittled and reminded that she could've earned more if it weren't for us. If you want a place that will actually care about you and see you as more than just a paycheck, please consider other options as there are plenty of other lovely venues around Riverside.

When we arrived, the welcome in was short lived, a handshake and move along. Okay, no problem, let's get right to it, however, that set the theme for the entire tour. Granted there was not much to tour as it is a quaint space, the details to help bring the space to life felt left out. We were told prices for add-ons and what can be added on. But that was that. No examples provided to paint the picture for us which we would like to see if we're going to commit thousands of dollars to renting the space. Additionally, when we inquired about a list of preferred vendors, pamphlets or brochures. We were told we'd be sent a list for us to check out, only for that list to never arrive despite being told we'd get that sent over immediately AND a follow up from us to her work phone directly (to which she claimed would be the best place to receive a response I will say, I can appreciate the fact that since it is a shared space, tailors, barbers, makeup artists, etc. can all be found in the building which makes it a convenient one stop shop for those things. Overall, our experience was rushed and we honestly felt like a nuisance. If our late arrival was an issue, a reschedule for the tour could have been made. Hindsight 20/20 I suppose. We went elsewhere.

I recently hosted my daughter's quinceañera at this venue. While the event itself turned out…read morebeautifully, the planning process and venue organization caused a significant amount of unnecessary stress. Initially, planning with Evelyn was great. We discussed setup times, table settings, chargers, napkins, and other event details, and we had originally been told we would have access to the venue on Thursday to set up. However, the week before the event our contact changed to one of the owners, and we were asked for information that had already been provided. We were also informed that Thursday was no longer available for setup and had to rearrange our schedules to come on Wednesday instead. Unfortunately, when we arrived for our scheduled setup, nothing had been prepared. Tables, linens, and place settings weren't ready, and items from the previous event were still in the venue. Because setup time is already very limited, this prevented us from completing everything we had planned. Future clients should also know that this is a second-floor venue, and you are responsible for bringing up all of your own bar supplies. We weren't told until two days before the event that no carts would be available, so thankfully we brought our own dollies. The owner did ask what still needed to be done after we explained the situation, and the team completed most of those items before our final walkthrough. I appreciated that effort. Another important thing to know is that the venue also has its own event planning and decorating business. If you choose to bring in your own vendors or decorate yourself, your setup time is extremely limited unless you pay additional fees for early access. We arranged our own flowers and had to pay extra just to drop them off ahead of time. We also hired The Habit Burger food truck for our event. We had to set up our own cones to reserve parking, and when the truck arrived, it didn't fit in the location the venue had instructed us to use. Fortunately, one of the owners helped resolve the issue and even told my husband that the team should have already had the parking area prepared before the truck arrived. The biggest issue was on the day of the event. I arrived around 4:20 p.m. for photos before our 5:00 p.m. guest arrival, and the air conditioning in the hallways and restrooms was not workin it was over 95 degrees outside. We had several ADA guests who needed to use the restrooms, making this especially uncomfortable. About 3.5 hrs into the event, one of the owners arrived with fans, and guests were eventually directed to another restroom that did have air conditioning. We also had an issue with the security guard, who was speaking inappropriately to some of our minor guests. We immediately reported it to the venue staff. I do want to recognize the bartender, cleaning staff, and event lead. They were professional, kind, and worked hard throughout the evening to help wherever they could. Overall, the venue itself is beautiful, and our daughter's quinceañera was a wonderful celebration. However, there were too many communication issues, last-minute changes, and preventable problems leading up to and during the event. I hope the venue improves its organization and communication because it has the potential to provide a much smoother experience for future clients.

There was an event before mine, and I felt like I had to constantly follow up with calls and emails just to get basic details confirmed. My event was scheduled to start at 6 PM, and even though I was told they might need an extra 15-20 minutes for setup, they were still setting up an hour and a half into my event time. Some tables didn't even have tablecloths on them when I arrived. I had offered to come early to help set up but was told it wasn't necessary. On top of that, a few small maintenance issues, like a paper towel rack falling off the wall, added to the frustration. Also, be aware that if you book a 6-hour slot, you may only get 5 hours of actual event time because they take about an hour to set up which isn't clearly explained upfront. My son still had a great time, and for that I'm thankful but overall, I left feeling a bit frustrated. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve the experience for future guests.

The dance floor is very good size and the Dj booth area. They have nice restrooms and they are spacious! They provide the decorations, tables and chairs for you, which makes it less stress when trying to plan a party. Overall, I would recommend this venue, no doubt! I love that's it is black female owned as well. The parking is easy with lots of spots, and it's in the perfect location in Rancho. It's a lot of eateries and food courts next to it. I attended my best friends wedding at Hacienda Hall recently. Let me start by saying WOW! I had…read moreseen the hall online but in person it looks so much bigger. It has high ceilings and about 9 chandeliers. The hall is so private that it even has its own gated parking lot.  As soon as you walk in you are welcomed by a guard. The hall has an attached patio area with a big fountain in the middle of it. You can take a break outside and enjoy the outside lighting and fountain. It also comes with a game room which is perfect if you have kids like me (Bring lots of quarters). The women's restroom had three stalls and a changing room. Out of all the halls I've partied at these were the nicest restrooms I've seen (ugh they had such nice mirrors). But most importantly my best friend had an amazing time. They helped her coordinate her event from A-Z (except the drinks and alcohol). If I ever get married again I'm definitely coming here. As a guest/ bridesmaid that attended to an event here I highly recommend it.
