I'd been anxiously awaiting a trip to Di Di's after seeing it pop up so often on my Instagram. My husband and I finally took a weekend to venture down to the Heights and it was so worth it! Not only did Di Di's not disappoint, they far exceeded expectations! The coffee was great. It's the perfect balance of the strong roasted coffee flavor and sweetness! We both ordered the egg cream, but after trying and loving it, I'd definitely be willing to branch out and try other flavors. I really loved the croffles too! Mine was a little too zesty and tangy for my taste, but my husband's banana brulee croffle was perfection. I would order that one next time for myself and make him try something else! Believe all the hype you read, Di Di's really is that good! It is one of my new favorite coffee places in Houston. That really says a lot because I feel good independent coffee shops are a needle in a haystack these days.

Coffee is 1000/10. We've been to probably 125+ coffee shops and rarely repeat, but this is one we willingly keep coming back to. The gochujang chicken croffle is EVERYTHING. Unfortunately it's seasonal, which feels rude honestly. My heart will miss it. The shop itself is super cute too. I've seen people camped out playing mahjong and it looks like it turns into a cocktail bar vibe at night. Haven't made it there in the evening yet, but if the cocktails are anywhere near as good as their morning offerings, I'm sure they're top notch. Only sad part is the coffee is weekend only bur honestly, grateful because I would absolutely be here way too often otherwise.

The store was very cute and spacious. Staff were friendly and service was quick! I got the seasonal Biscoff coffee and honestly it was a bit too sweet for me. I usually love sweeter coffee but this drink tasted better once the ice melted. I preferred the ube coffee over the Biscoff. The croffle was so so good!

I was excited to try this new coffee pop up at I Know the Owner! My fav coffee is Viet coffee and love to try places that offer different twists to it. The parking lot is limited but we were able to easily find a spot around 11 am. There were several customers sitting inside at that time. The employee promptly greeted us and was welcoming. I got the Pandan coffee because it is my go to for any Asian dessert flavor. I also added ube & cookies & cream croffle & strawberry croffle. The order came out quickly and we decided to take it to go. There were plenty of sitting options and the main area had a lot of natural light coming through. The Pandan coffee was robust as expected and the Pandan cream was fresh and delicious! I would just request to add more ice next time because it did warm up quickly in the car with the increasing Houston temperature. I thought the croffle was unique with all the flavor options. The ube had a good sweetness level but the croffle was little harder than I preferred and harder to enjoy later in the day too. I don't think the croffle is for me because I do enjoyed softer pastry items with my drink but I definitely want to come back & try other coffee flavors!

The banana croffle will make you ASCEND. Must try item!!!!!!!!

What's not to like about viet coffee and croffles? Everything we tried on their menu was so well executed!!! The viet coffee was strong (imo could have been a little stronger) and the cold foams were not overly sweet and tasted authentic, not artificial at all. The egg coffee was our favorite of the drinks! The banana brûlée croffle blew our minds. One bite and we actually ascended. If you're a texture person, you must try it!!!! The flaky croffle coupled with the banana and crunchy caramelized brûlée.... I'm already thinking about the next time I get to try it again!

02/22/26 Today I came by because it was the grand opening and they had some seasonal options for the month of February which wasn't available during my first visit. The strawberry Vietnamese coffee tasted like a strawberry puree but creamier, once it was mixed well with the coffee it was both sweet and strong. The chocolate strawberry Croffle has fresh strawberries on it with a nice chocolate glaze and a good crunch to it as well. The wait time was short even though I did have to wait for them to make the strawberry cream but it was worth the wait. Glad I came back this time around and hope to continue to come back due to seasonal flavors.

Went here for a coffee on my drive back to Dallas. They are inside of IKTO cocktail bar in the heights on the weekends. I got the banana miso viet coffee. It is one of their temporary items. At first I don't taste the banana but as it mixed in more the flavor became more prominent and tasty. I came a little late so the croffles were almost sold out by this point. They also have outdoor patio seating available

Coffee was great! Croffles are meh. The coffee was nice and smooth and wasn't too sweet which I prefer when it comes to Vietnamese coffee. I got the banana miso coffee which I really enjoyed. I got the banana croffle and it was just ok. I think it's really pricey for what it is and the croffle itself didn't taste fresh. They tasted premade like they had been sitting out. I would go for the coffee but not the croffle.

omg the ratio of coffee to cold foam is insane!! what a rip off, the coffee flight was $21 and all we got was cold foam that consisted of a pound of sugar. what happened to when cold foam was just a thin topping?? now it's half the cup wow we were nauseated after a few sips, it was honestly ridiculous how little coffee there was they have good marketing on their social media, that's what originally drew us to this place; their coffee looked aesthetically pleasing. but unfortunately there wasn't enough coffee we spent $33 for coffee flight + one croffle.

Came here on a Sunday morning. It was not crowded, but I snagged the last parking spot. The baristas were friendly, and it did not take long to receive my order. The bar is beautiful, but the adjacent area with tables does not seem to really match and looks much more casual. Even if you are dining in, the croffles and coffee come in to-go containers. It was a real struggle bus to cut the croffles with plastic knife in the to go box- you've been warned. I got the banana miso coffee with condensed oat milk, and it was good but on the sweet side. I needed a straw to mix the top layer in, since it was too thick to drink as is. The croffles were crispy, and my toddler loved the banana brûlée one. The gochujang sauce on the chicken and croffle was not too spicy. All in all, I would come back and try their other drinks and croffles, but with so many other coffee shops to try, it will be a while before I do.

Fast & friendly service. Well-organized (properly staffed, good flow, layout works for level of traffic). Nice ambiance. Plenty of parking. Coffee was superb. Stopped by here on Sunday with a cycling group. Actually, our destination was a couple doors down but a few of us got roped into Di Di because it looked nice. Glad that I ended up in here because the banana miso was so good. I'm excited to try the other flavors and will be back this weekend!!

This is such a cute new coffee shop inside I Know The Owner! They have different flavors of Vietnamese coffee and croffles. We got the Egg Cream coffee and the Red Velvet cream coffee. The Vietnamese coffees are good. They are heavy on the cream topping though so very sweet tasting. I would recommend asking for less cream foam because it overpowers the coffee and almost tastes more like a milkshake in the end. Can be a little sweetness overload when paired with the croffles but still very good. The croffles are nice and crispy! There is plenty of seating inside. The parking lot is very limited although there I street parking behind. Would come back!

I recently moved to Houston so saw this and thought to check them out. By not asking if ive been here before they messed up. 1st, no one told me the food comes with a complimentary banana. Not on the menu. No signs. Nothing. I'm allergic. They had to remake my food which is a waste for them too and embarrassing for me. 2. Comes with toast. Great. Amazing. Thanks. Again. Not asked what bread I wanted, did I want jam and butter. 3. No water given. No water stations. No jugs. Nothing. 4. Dirty tables not cleaned quickly. If they did the simple things right id give them 5 out of 5. The food is excellent. Ill be back and next time ill specifically say please no banana and please sourdough toast.

Perhaps it was our batch but I don't remember the cake layers being so thin and sparse.

My beloved Boomtown RIP…read more This pains me to write. Different is certainly not always better, especially when what you had was already working. I much prefer the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. To the people who bought this place, I know your motto is "different is better," but please stop taking that so literally. You do not have to change every aspect of this place to make it different. The best thing about getting your everyday local coffee is seeing the same baristas you've seen over and over again, familiar faces who know you by name. This was one of those places where I'd hate to admit how much money I've spent here, and I did it happily. In just three weeks, our beloved spot, one I would willingly drive out of my way for, has gone so far downhill that I barely recognize it. From the eyesore taco warmer that practically knocks you in the face while you're ordering, replacing a space that once showcased lovely things like fresh flowers and local trinkets, to the disappearance of the wonderful local treats from Sinfull Bakery that kids genuinely enjoyed. At first I thought maybe you were just out, but after three weeks it became clear that expenses were being cut across the board and those items may never come back. And where do I even begin. The new oat milk is terrible. It completely changes the look and taste of the coffee and is immediately noticeable. I won't harp on the change of hours or the change in flavor of your coffee beans, but I feel it must be mentioned because, well, it's noticeable. And now the cleanliness. Spilled taco sauce all over the floor, and when your kid points it out, you know you're in trouble at that point. Dishes piled so high they're overflowing, dirty restrooms. And to be clear, this isn't the staff's fault, there is simply not enough staff to keep up with these things. Never ever in seven years of being a frequent visitor has it been this bad. I also noticed the new coffee packaging, and it's just another reminder that the heart and thoughtfulness that once defined this place are gone. At this rate I half expect robots handing me my latte in a few weeks so you can save a few more bucks. And getting rid of Toast. Even if Toast was an expensive platform to use, it was legitimately so convenient. And dang, if you're going to do away with it, don't replace it with the worst possible ordering system ever, one that doesn't even work. Do you know how many orders I wouldn't have placed if it weren't for Toast? Toast made those orders possible when I didn't have time to wait. Without it, I simply wouldn't have ordered. I understand times are tough for many businesses, but you all were booming. The new online ordering system doesn't work. You may as well do away with it altogether because this one just isn't it. Honestly, I am devastated. You knocked it out of the park in every area, cleanliness, service, food. I never had a single bad item on the menu. The coffee was beyond. When my family moved out of the city a year and a half ago, I still drove 35 minutes one way just to get your food and coffee, over an hour round trip again and again. I don't think you understand how this new direction has driven this place into the ground in a matter of three weeks. Sadly all good things must come to an end.

It looked like a busy morning for them, but the service moved at a reasonable pace--neither exceptionally fast nor particularly slow. My BF and I tried the Montauk Mint Collection: Mint Coconut Cream Cold Brew. Unfortunately, it landed pretty squarely in the middle for both of us. The drink had a strange graininess, and it was sweeter than I'd prefer. My BF summed it up as, "too much mint, not enough coffee." I wouldn't say it was bad, but I also can't say it was particularly great. That being said, the cold brew itself was definitely doing its job. The coffee was pretty potent, and after a few sips, I could actually feel my heart rate pick up a bit. There was also more ice than I personally prefer, although the drink didn't taste diluted, so I can understand the icy contribution. Update: The coffee gave me a stomachache a short while later. Maybe it was the dairy since I'm mildly lactose intolerant, but I drink milk pretty regularly despite that, so I'm completely unsure what caused it. Maybe the caffeine was just too strong for me--either way, my stomach was not a fan. At $7 for such a small cup, I didn't feel like the experience justified the price.
