These guys did a great job cleaning out the dryer vent. The amount of lint they were able to remove was impressive, satisfying and scary all at the same time. Our dryer was the perfect storm for a fire. It used to take over an hour for a heavy load to dry, now it takes about 45 or 50 minutes. Great improvement. Their customer service is great, everybody I had contact with was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them to anybody needing their services.

Lint that was stuck in my vent line, they cleaned it all up too

Wow these guys are great. We have a Dryer vent that goes between 1st and 2nd floor and across three car garage before exiting. So 30 ft to fill with lint... i have used other service providers to clean out my line, but they are single man providers. LintBandits has two guys one on the insider one on the outside. They don't just blow or suck the stuff out- the have a brush and rods attached to a drill and the did an excellent job cleaning out my vent and didn't break my flapper like the blow only guys. They cleaned up the mess, collected a check and went on their way. Great work. Professional. Friendly. Quick but thorough. It is just a better system for a challenging vent.

We purchased a new washer and dryer, and the installer could not install the dryer because the vent was so badly clogged up. We had already swept up an entire Hefty garbage bag full of lint that was piled around the old appliances left behind by the previous resident, and attempted to ShopVac what was in the vent ourselves, but it just jammed our ShopVac hose, so we decided to get it professionally cleaned since the vent runs underneath the living room of our house and to the outside. Doug was very prompt at responding to phone messages and was able to send his folks out within a couple of days. We were quoted $170 which seemed a little pricey compared to other competitors advertised pricing, however DGC Services/Lint Bandits were the only company who actually answered the phone or responded to phone messages, so we decided to go with them. The two men who showed up to clean our dryer vent arrived a few minutes early to the appointment and got started right away. They cleaned up the vent in less than 15 minutes. They also plugged in our new dryer to test air flow. Seems to be working just fine now! We were really worried about the fire hazard of all that lint buildup, so I'm glad we called DGC and got them out here right away. Thanks all for your help!

If you live in the tri-valley area of Northern California, there is a high chance that you have encountered pigeon problems. Pigeons love the modern design features of our home. It basically gives them a lot of nesting options. I have lived in the Dublin Ranch area for 7 years. I am the original owner of my home. Over the years, I have heard pigeons on my roof. We have a window ledge over our front door, and pigeon poop has accumulated there as well. To be safe, we decided we should get a few quotes on pigeon cleaning so that we could ensure our rain gutters weren't too badly clogged with pigeon poop. Our neighbors had such a serious issue that it actually caused leaks in their home. I was shocked by the service I received from different companies. Many refused to drive to my home to do the assessment without charging an estimate fee, and others took pictures of the house but never looked on the roof and gave outrageous quotes. Luckily, I asked a local realtor for a reference and he recommended DGC Services to me. Doug the owner of the company was great. As soon as I called him, we set up an appointment, and he showed up right on time. He immediately went on top of the roof and told me what he saw, and took pictures so that I could see as well. I was shocked to learn that I had a dead rotting pigeon corpse and weeds growing on the roof from about 50 pounds of pigeon poop. Doug was the one who gave the most accurate assessment of the issue, and his quote was also the most reasonable. Out of the 5 quotes that I received, Doug's quote was less than what others had quoted because he only focused on what I needed not try to pressure me into paying more for areas I didn't have problems with. Doug also mentioned that his crew scoops and bags the poop up. They don't just spray it with water so that it gets all over the place and clogs up the rain gutters. Doug's team showed up a few days prior to their appointment because they were courteous enough to pay attention to the rainy weather and didn't want my house to suffer from a leaky roof due to the pigeon droppings. They finished on time as scheduled and finished within the time period he had estimated. I cannot emphasize enough how pleased we were with his work. He also took pictures of the roof after his work so we could clearly see the results from before and after. I would highly recommend Doug based on his rates, professionalism, and results.

All that lint trapped in my dryer vents. Airflow is super strong now! Of course Fred cleaned this up with his shop vac.

I have a two story home with a tile roof and was concerned about the height and cracked tiles. I hired DGC services and was very happy with their job performance. Called Lint Bandits this past Friday morning to address our clogged dryer vent issue. The crew arrived in the afternoon and identified that we needed a bit more than just a vent cleaning. They were able to get the vent materials and fix our issue the same afternoon. All was done at a very reasonable price. The crew was friendly, efficient and helpful! DGC Services was recommended by our appliance repair person when we mentioned that it seemed to be taking a long time for our clothes to dry. We contacted DGC and were very, very happy with the service call. Fred was our technician. In addition to being a very agreeable and pleasant individual, he clearly knew what he was doing and did a very thorough and effective job. And we could not believe the amount of lint that he cleared out! That is going to make a huge difference in the efficiency of the dryer. The "Lint Mob" came one day after I requested service. They were running about 15 minutes late but called to let me know. Pulled out half a wet-dry vacuum of lint. This is after I attempted to clean it regularly with our gas leaf blower... Jeans and terry towels were taking 1.5 hours to dry with our electric dryer before; huge electric bill. I will let everyone know how it does now on an update. Plan B: Reroute the vent line - it takes at least three, 90-degree bends. Greg read more

Yep, that 15JAN16 photo shows the shopvac full of my lint. You go Lint Bandits! VERY happy with dryer function after the Bandits - Fred & Gary, fine chaps - did their thing. Fred/Gary - efficient, friendly, bringers of great joy. Fred also provided useful tips re. knowing when the lint flowpath would need cleaning again. I'm happy. Next time I have the bandits visit BEFORE I get the new dryer, bought because I was ignorant. Doh! read more

After having a very unpleasant experience with another company, I was immediately impressed with Doug (the owner) by his level of professionalism and explanation of the dryer vent cleaning process when I called. The two technicians who came out to perform the service were very competent and answered all of my questions. The process went very smoothly and the price was reasonable. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs this service. I had been told all kinds of "horror stories" by other companies about how they might need to replace my pipes and spend large sums of money to get the vent cleaned if it was clogged, and none of this was true. Crew called 30 minuets ahead to let me know they are on schedule and would arrive as promised. They found a birds nest in the vent access and checked that it was abandoned before removing. They were very thorough and very conscious about keeping the laundry room and outside clean. They told me what I need to do to prevent new birds nests. Doug was so efficient in everything he did. Prompt in calling back. Great communication about appointments, what would be done, who would be coming etc. his pricing was reasonable and I did shop around, he saved me some money. His technicians that came, Ben and Fred, were so knowledgeable, professional, and super friendly. Fred it was easy to tell had many years of experience. I needed my Dryer vent cleaned. I called on Friday and my appointment was made for the following day. Gary arrived at my house and he was very helpful. He did a great job. I really appreciate his services that he provided to me. He also helped to let me know of a situation where my HOA might be accountable for this service. He showed me what he was doing in every step and at the end showed me all the lent that was captured and cleaned out. Now my Dryer works perfectly. I would 100% recommend this company. This is a fantastic company! We needed to have our dryer vent line cleaned out before our new dryer arrived the next day. We just moved in to an old house. I found out the dryer vent was clogged. I contacted Doug to arrange for cleaning. On the day of the appointment, the technicians (Fred and Kai) called to confirm their arrival time which was appreciated. The actual job became more complicated as they had to go into the crawl space to clear the pipe. I ended up paying a bit extra but at the end, problem fixed. The service techs were professional and courteous and they made sure they clean up after the job was completed. I would recommend them. read more

Great Service! I called a little after 9 a.m., and they were at my house at noon. Fred and Mary cleaned the entire duct system and the dryer. Because of the tight space I was worried that moving the washer and dryer would be near impossible, and I'd end up with scratches and dents on the woodwork and units. But Fred was expert at moving them, Mary cleaned behind the units, and everything went back together in a jiffy---not a mark on anything. To top it all off, they were friendly and professional---just fantastic folks! read more

I’m a proud Bay Area native, born in Oakland and raised in San Leandro. My professional journey started unexpectedly; while studying at Chabot College, I was offered a great opportunity with Gateway Computers. Working with hundreds of small business owners taught me the foundational skills of running a successful enterprise. When the tech industry shifted, I pivoted, taking the opportunity to build this business and expand the service area my uncle originally started. I highly recommend DGC Services, LLC. I am a 61 year old man with some failing health issues. My days of getting up on the roof and cleaning the gutters ended when I almost fell from the roof . This year was going to be different and I was going to hire someone to do the gutter maintenance. I went through the local phone yellow pages looking for this service. Someone that is local, bonded, insured and able to furnish local references. I found a choice of four businesses. DGC Services immediately responded & furnished a quote for cleaning my gutters and installing a product called the "Gutter Brush". I did a bit of online research & was amazed of how simple & creative this idea was and immediately accepted DGC's quote. Doug, the owner of DGC Services ordered the product and kept in contact with me providing me with tracking information on the delivery of the Gutter Brush. Within 3 working days the product had been delivered and that weekend was scheduled to be installed. At the exact time given to me the doorbell rang and a cheerful crew of two appeared spot on time. The crew estimated completion time within1 1/2 hours and again 1 1/2 hours later they completed. The DGC crew cleaned up the whole area surrounding the house of leaves, pine needles and branches & installed the Gutter Brush, stating that this was a perfect match for this product. I would definitely recommend and will contact DGC Services for any future gutter or related work. They immediately responded to my request for services, provided a fair and reasonable quote, kept me informed, showed up on time, were knowledgeable and a joy to watch them work, and finished on time. Wow! What a great experience. I had been researching pigeon abatement for the complex I manage and was giving up hope until I found Doug. I had a extreme case of pigeon nesting and their excrement was causing unsitely and unsanitary conditions at the complex. We have an uneven courtyard area which required special equipment to reach the 3rd floor of our building. Doug did everything! Researched it, came up with a plan and we proceeded with the abatement. His team and him finished on time, even a little early. Cleaned up the area and left my complex looking new again. I requested DGC to clean my gutters, and they completed the job within 40 minutes. However, I was surprised by the speed, considering it's a two-story home. Unfortunately, within a week, the gutters started leaking again from four different spots even during light rain. I advise caution when considering this company. While they provided a reasonable quote, they didn't perform the necessary work commensurate with the quote. They didn't do even 30% of what I paid for. Ultimately, it turned out to be a waste of money. I have to redo this with another company. I would recommend choosing a different, more honest and reliable company. read more

(In April 2019)... Doug did a great job putting up wire mesh under the eaves to keep migratory birds from building mud nests at my house (and the home of two other neighbors) here in Fremont, CA. Price was reasonable. Later, a few birds tried to build a nest under the wire mesh, so he came back to adjust the wire mesh, and that did it. Doug and his team were punctual and got the job done efficiently. We had problem with Mud birds building multiple nests, This was prevented by netting that seems to be doing the job well. Quoted $338 but actual cost was $505 - vent cost on estimate was off; 9 vs 12 - so cost was $505. They did clarify billing BEFORE work and ask if I still wanted it done and I said yes - mainly because I had rescheduled things to accommodate them (twice). When I called up to schedule appointment they texted and said they could be there next day at 4pm. Come 4:55 pm I texted and asked if they were still coming - no, at another job and said they could be there next day at 10. They arrived at ~10:45 as I was just about to text them and cancel. Now for the vent cleaning itself. Were the vents cleaned, yes - so 1 star. What they did was blow out ALL the dust and particles of vent into living spaces and then vacuum up most of bigger chucks. This vent cleaning aggravated air and allergens for my son (and myself) instead of helping with it. They only laid tarp in one room - my son's room cuz vent was under his bed - everywhere else they simply blew dust all into carpets and sofa etc. Right after air duct cleaning inside air was over 500 AQI (somewhat expected after any cleaning picks up dust). BUT a day after still over 200 AQI while outside was 50 AQI. We have hepa filters in each bedroom and large Orsani EJ120 and newer Orsani Mod and each bedroom has its own Molekule - total overkill for house that is under 1,800 sq ft cuz the air quality is the ONLY thing that seems to help with son's asthma. We replaced Orsani filters just a month ago but will need to replace it AGAIN. After re-washing all bed linens and blankets I'm now looking for someone to help deep clean my house of all the fine dust particles. The larger ones chucks left behind is not as bothersome as the fine dust. WORST thing about the whole experience is that AFTER I sent them an email stating my unsatisfactory experience they called back, saying that conversation was being recorded, telling me that they were NOT responsible for allergens and basically it was my fault. Now I feel stupid for paying someone to blow dust into my house and I'll have to pay to replace air filters and get help to deep clean house. In response to owners comment, I only cropped out my personal info. They Quoted me $349 for up to 8 vents, $39 per additional vents. Found it dishonest that they went back and edited the original online estimate. Sad because they are local boys from Dublin and I really want to support local residential small businesses; one of the reason I initially decided to use them. I wasn't planning on writing bad review so I emailed them first. Each subsequent contact they made things worst.

This morning I sent a message through Yelp to Two Brothers, they immediately responded and called me to schedule a time to come look at my unit. Today was a hot day and I was worried they would take a few days to test our issue but I was very fortunate - Daniel from Two Brothers said he could be there in half an hour. He got there right on time, climbed up into our attic, talked me through the problem that we had and explained to me that he had to grab some parts to repair it. He left for about 20 minutes and returned with the parts and had the system working in less than 10 minutes. He was very thorough in explaining everything, tested the whole system after repairing and made sure I was content before moving forward with anything. EXTRA BONUS - we are Muslims and this month is Ramadan, Daniel saw the Ramadan decorations in our home and was very gracious in recognizing and acknowledging.
